The rooms were fine but sure could have used a dresser. Food was cold at the buffet every single meal. Staff was pleasant. Beds were great. Couldn’t book the room for 2 extra hours after spending over 50000 for two weeks. Had to sit in the lobby to wait. Beach great. Wasn’t feeling great and music blared into our room till 10ish.

Great location & nice beach. The room was clean & the staff were great.
Sadly, I can’t say that we enjoyed the food other than breakfast. Soups were thin & bland. Salads were okay but the entrees left something to be desired. If the quality of the food was improved here it would really raise the experience.
Also, would suggest getting rid of all those broken lounge chairs at the beach?!

The staff can’t speak English, the staff are unfriendly they walk around looking mad all day every day! The food was horrible. Food is always cold! The maid service was horrible! The beds are uncomfortable. Never ever will we return!

Meals were extremely salty & very repetitive - everything tasted the same. The platers that held salads (no dressings or oil/vinegar available), fruit and desserts sat constantly empty for most of the meal time frame. The waiting staff - mostly, with a few exceptions - seemed more interested in clearing the table than offering a second glass of coffee, water, wine, etc. and very few smiled or spoke, you had to wait and see if they would fill your request. The rooms were cleaned but the furniture was falling apart (husband mattress was completed shredded on the length of the side. The leg of the desk was corroded. The bathroom sink was cracked and poorly glued back together (That sink never did drain properly despite several requests to have it fixed.) The pillows were rock hard. Water stains on the ceiling in several places. We once got an almost complete compliment of towels (2 bath/2 hand - never a face cloth to be seen.) The bar was always out of something - no ice, no tonic water, no drinking water!
I could go on but I think you get the picture - worse all inclusive I’ve ever stayed at. I gave it a 2* only because of a few good employees. Will not be returning.
The one good thing was the weather was wonderful.

Worst hotel ever!!! In every aspect.
Rude staff, dirty hotel rooms with numerous issues, main one being no hot water for showers, food is horrid, noise is next level until 2 am! The list could go on.
Bottom line DO NOT STAY HERE !! It sucks!
We left after 1 night and they kept our money and refused to refund the next 8 days that we were booked in for.

The room was fine besides being very dated. The bed was comfortable but the pillows were overstuffed and hard as cement blocks. House keeping was great. But the food was dreadful, every buffet was incredibly disappointing. They like to slice up hotdogs for a protein option. Fettuccine Alfredo with ball park franks anyone? Cocktails were a bit better than the food, but there is no service on the beach or pool. But this seemed to be the nicest hotel option in Guayabitos. A remodel and new chefs would do wonders for this place.

Way over priced for what you get, to add on a child it was almost the same as getting another room. Food is whatever, toilets smelled so bad when you flushed them, tvs don’t have wifi only cable. Staff was rude. I would not stay here again.

The food was the same all the time never changes and had limited option's. Softly drink were not offred for breakfast. Air conditioner was not worling and hot water went in and out. My mother in laws room jad tbathroom ceilings almost fall on her becaue it came down.. th. For the price that they chargerwd i expect more .

Well the beds are terrible and the pillows even worse !! If you don’t get a good sleep you won’t have a good vacation!! Food was just barely acceptable out of eggs at breakfast!! Mostly Mexican food which is ok !! Not much to pick from as far as food !! Staff was excellent!! I used a blanket from the closet to put under me to soften the bed !! Bring a pillow ,the pillows are like beach balls and like hard plastic!! 17 days of this !!

Great location right on the beach. It’s like a block away from a main avenue that has lots of stores and restaurants. There were 2 issues we had with this stay. The main issue was they didn’t give us the room that we paid for through Expedia. We paid for the sea view room and they gave us a partial sea view. Their explanation was that Expedia doesn’t list the rooms properly. We did agree to another room. They did not offer a refund for the price difference I paid for that room. 2nd issue was the brown blankets are thin and don’t cover the bed enough. The AC works extremely well you may need to keep it low.

Bed was too hard as well as pillows. Plastic bed cover under sheets and pillow covers. Staff accommodated with mattress topper.

me gusto la ubicacion a la mitad de la ciudad y que todo estaba cerca.
no me gusto que se sentia mucha inseguridad en el lugar. mucho del personal no tenia buena actitud, los bartenders muy mala actitud y una muy limitada variedad en las bebidas, ni cerveza, no sabian como preparar los cocteles, vi mucha gente tirando las bebidas y quejandose de ella y de su mal sabor al igual que yo que no me gusto la mayoria de las bev=bidas que pedi. en el restaurante la variedad de comida muy limitada, me toco varios de los platillos no muy buenos y la barra de snacks no muy buenos tampoco. la limpeza de las habitaciones fatal, el bano negro enlamado oloroso, aun con cabellos del cliente anterior, las paredes manchadas, las camas duras y basura abajo de las camas

I loved the proximity to the ocean and to the main street markets.

The buffet food was too much the same and if staying for more than one week would get extremely boring. Suggest more Mexican food options (burritos, tacos) and more protein options from pork and chicken. While some have to have burgers and fries, I was hoping for more seafood and Mexican food options. We found other restaurants outside of the resort much more to our liking. Seems a shame when you are paying for all-inclusive. Also, it would be nice to have wine options besides red and white.

The resort and beach were nice, and the staff were very friendly. However, the food options were limited and less than stellar. There were no snack options after the buffet hours. The bed was extremely hard and they never replenished the water in the room. We would have to go to the reception desk daily to get water bottles, which is not convenient.
Considering the cost of this resort I had expected higher standards.

I’ve been to many different areas in mexico, many times, and I’ve never had such a TERRIBLE experience at a resort. Our poor experience initially started when they said we had to pay an extra $600 CAD before checking in or else my partner would have been left to sleep in the street. We paid significantly more than the other two couples we were with just so we would not be stranded in mexico with nowhere to sleep. The rooms themselves are pretty clean however, there was no hot water and the beds were like springboards. The pool is in the middle of the building so there is zero sun therefore, we spent most of our time on the beach. The one bar they have on site only ever had one bartender and the drinks were extremely limited. There is only one restaurant on the premises and it isn’t open for a large portion of the day, leaving you with nowhere else to eat. The staff (especially the manager) we’re quite rude. I could count on one hand the number of staff that were actually kind and helpful. The two other couples we stayed with also had an incredibly poor experience. I would never recommend this hotel. I’ve never written a negative review but this was such a bad experience that I wanted to warn others. Do not stay here!!!
