Close to the beach. I did’t like no hot water, no WiFi, no tv for 2 days, broken oven, room cleaning every 2 days, staff not available, leaking toilet, noise late at night, no coat hangers, small dressers, small closet, cold water in shower, staff didn’t speak English, and info provided was inaccurate.

Location/Amenities poor for the price. We stayed for 12 nights in February: 2 couples shared the grand loft 2 bedroom with kitchenette.To be fair,this was our only option as we had trouble finding any place that had vacancy anytime during the month of February.The location is not ideal (not near the downtown, not on the beach) and the pool/common areas were so tiny and poorly outfitted that we were not able to sit and relax outside. The room itself had only the barest of amenities - minimal kitchen supplies, no soap, hand towels, face cloths or bathmats for the bathroom. We had to ask for a coffee maker, toaster crapped out on Day 3. The main area (with one bedroom on either side) was completely filled with an oversized dining room table, chairs and a china cabinet which made it difficult to get to the other rooms. The beds were OK, a bit softer than many others we saw/felt, the bedding was fresh and clean and changed most days. The A/C and fans worked really well and were quiet. None of the desk staff spoke English; we had to pay our total bill in advance when we checked in which was unexpected and not the practice at other hotels in the area (first warning sign!) Bring your earplugs -neighbourhood dogs barked incessantly through the night and roosters started at 4 am. We loved this little town and it's beautiful beaches - we will be back to Guayabitos but would not stay here again, this little hotel just has not enough going for it to justify the cost per night

Warm water (not hot) in the shower only. Bottled water provided only when asked, not offered. Extremely loud area, at all hours. Rooms are in fair condition, but are in need of some repair. Bathroom was clean, but mold was evident as it was everywhere. Also, not hot water in the bathroom sink, which was also in need of repairs. The beds should be replaced as the mattresses have seen their day and are very uncomfortable to sleep on. I personally would not recommend this location and I will never stay there again.

Liked that was close to the beach, a few blocks away. I did not like that there was no phone, no coffee even though they had a coffee maker, minimal cookware to use, no wash cloths just towels, no tissue dispensers just a huge loose roll of toliet paper, no food service, even breakfast on the property like advertised. No security locks on the room door. Had no help getting my luggage up to the third floor, no elevator. Left as soon as I woke up, need to update your post on this place.

North end hotel.

You get what you pay for. Beds were clean enough and I was only looking for a two night gap fill but there was mold on the ceiling in the bathroom. Towels were clean but my hand towel had old blood on it that should have made that towel a throw away. the rest of the towels were clean. But, you get what you pay for.

We were very disappointed in our room. The photos on the website were very deceiving as to what you were getting for what type of a room plus the room was very expensive for what we got. It cost us $111 Canadian to stay here which according to you guys was 50% off!! The room was worth maybe $30/nite!! Bathroom was scuzy!! Not a drinking glass or bottle of water in the room and we were told by others not to use the tap water as there was ecoli in the water. Had to walk a long way to finally find a place to.buy bottled water. No toiletries in the room so could not even shower as usually hotels have little packages of shampoo, etc. finally got some towels after we asked. Black spots all over the concrete walls which I think was mold. TV did not work at all. Pool area was disgusting. Pool did not look appealing and they had dirty pails and garbage piled up there. Feel we should be entitled to a refund or at least some of our money back!! Front desk could barely speak English. We asked about getting upgraded and they wanted another $860 pesos! They said we had to contact you to get the upgrade paid for and of course there is no way to contact you guys!! Sent an email and got a reply that it was not a monitored email so that was useless!! So needless to say I am a very unsatisfied customer and would never stay here again!!!

The worst experience ever,
When we got the keys to our rooms and as soon as we opened the door there was a foul smell. We thought that it was just because it's an older Hotel, but once we got to the beds OMG. There where stain with some Purple paint and the pillows had Rat Urine and Poop. It was the most disgusting thing ever. We had to get our things and left, as I was getting my luggage a big Ran jumps out from the Closet. I went over o the Lobby to try to get another room and they said that they had no other room available. I could not stay there so we had to leave. Will NEVER EVER go there again. I do not recommend it.

I came to get the room, and was not ready yet I do have to wait for more than an hour for it.
We went to the beach and they gave us only 3 beach towels, they had not enough clean towels for we all 7 people, then when we came back from the beach they told me that they allowed two beach towels per room only, and we went to shower to our room and was not water in the shower room, they forgot to turned on the water pump earlier, so, all the rooms had the same problem, We went to shower down stairs to the swimming pool and after shower we tried to come back up stairs to dress up, and they stop us and say the we should dried down stair before go to our room. So, a big disappoint all over the stayed time, GOOD that my stay was only for one day. Other wise I will be looking for another hotel around. I would not be staying for longer in that place.

Close to the beach. Bed had sand still after being made. No towels for kids, adults only. Towels weren't replaced. Toilet wasn't cleaned all during out stay. Night shift office staff was very helpful. For the price can't complain too much.

Room was very clean, kitchen well stocked by Mexican standards. More cupboards for clothes than standard as well as very nice bathroom and large compared to some other places our friends stayed. Good sized fridge and very helpful staff. Close to beach ..a 2 minute walk. Restaurants on beach close by. A little further from centre of town but walkable and safe area. Comfortable beds. Daily room cleaning. Pool is small but we used the beach anyway. Modern air conditioner unit if needed....very quiet.
Would suggest some towel racks...only thing missing.

First two days no drinking water, had to walk around hotel till I found a bottle of water in the common area then I had to buy my own water dispenser because it was not provided.
Maintenance sink and shows leaked severely and was not tended to when informed. wasp nest above table on common area. And not removed when informed. No one at front desk all day. Had to ring for staff to come out of his room all day long to attend to guest,
Housekeeping: towels were a hit and miss if they were supplied, even when housekeeping was being tipped. Bathrooms were not wiped down during stay. maid caught napping in one of the rooms while on shift.
Dead plants and dirty dishes in common area the whole two weeks I was there. Same dish's sat there and was added too the whole time.

Pictures of the rooms are deceiving, The toilet facilities did not work. They moved us to another room and had again no water. These two days were unacceptable. There was no W-Fi most times. Hotel did not make a effort to make stay comfortable. Found a different hotel and checked out of the hotel on 3rd morning, stay was for 4 days. Hotel made no effort to upgrade or to keep us there. As room was prepaid for. Tried contacting Expedia but no connection.

Nice hotel but far from the downtown area of Guayabitos. We were scheduled to stay 7 nights but left after five. Although the hotel was nice, 3 of the 5 nights we were there had extremely loud parties in the surrounding area, lasting until 3:30 AM. This was exhausting and frustrating, so we told the management that we were leaving and looking for a quieter hotel.
Also, the location of the hotel is at least a mile from the main area of the town, thus no restaurants for about 1/2 mile. We did do a lot of walking and are avid walkers, but we enjoy evening walks in areas of activity, so this was not possible.
The hotel is about a block from the ocean. A lovely beach. However, we were told the hotel was on the waterfront. Perhaps your agents should know this fact before recommending a hotel.
Will I use Orbitz again? Probably not.

Manager did upgrade us to a room with AC that worked when I complained :)
However, the bathroom shower and sink leaked all over the floor.
Above the door was a missing 3’x3’ sheet of glass, so room open to the corridor.
There was NO drinking water provided, and the kitchen silverware and knives were very rusty! Kitchen utensils and cookware were dirty.
Wifi only works standing outside the office or on corridor above office.
Fair walk to town... beach close.
No name on hotel ( they’ve changed names ) so taxi found hard to locate.

Hotel manager not concerned about client comfort

I was put on a top floor with no elevater 4 flights up . I have a bad back, hips knees and asthmatic. Would not change my room had to complain for a few days to get a bottom floor. Manager did not seem to care. Then a cleaning person took a jacket from my room that was layed out to wear home . I told management,was told not to worry he would check with cleaning girls. He was unconcerned never got back. Still upset about my jacket.

Sitting room area furniture hard and uncomfortable. No starter or matches for gas burners. Appalling plumbing. Staff rarely available. Maid service intermittent - every 2 or 3 days. Had to ask for fresh towels and toilet paper. \"Pool\" more suitable for aquarium or hot tub. Minimum two blocks to beach, restaurants, store, activities or anything else. Area is rundown and quite a distance from downtown, and not well occupied or well lit after dark. Very noisy, however, starting at 6:30 a.m. and going on until midnight or later.

Carlos person in charge very helpful but hotel is getting very old and area above our entrance door leading to our unit was wide open allowing anybody with a ladder or something to stand on to crawl right in to our unit making security an issue. In suite safes would, do be nice ! Our unit faced front street so very noisy from car traffic and dogs barking very often day and night
With 14 day cost averaging 77 dollars a night including tax and fees
if returning I would check elsewhere for a more competitive price as I know they exist !

No lo recomiendo del todo, al parecer es un hotel un poco familiar por lo que no se tiene un buen protocolo a la hora de dar el servicio. El internet es muy malo, la alberca es pequeña y con agua fría, cuando nos entregaron la habitación no nos cambiaron las sábanas y estaban sucias de arena. Algunos empleados fueron muy amables pero la verdad las instalaciones no son de lo mejor.

El lugar esta muy limpio, con facil acceso, justo enfrente hay un rico puesto de tacos, el hotel no da a la playa pero puedes llegar caminando, la calle de atrás si la limpiaran sería mucho mejor. Lleva tu jabon, shampoo, estropajo, enjuague, crema, pasta de dientes, etc.

Fue ideal para mi que llegué tarde por la noche y al dia siguiente temprano sali. Aire acondicionado, ventilador, sensacion de limpieza. Impecable. Una estancia corta perfectamente se puede estar bien.

Recomendacion al lugar: Este lugar seria de 10 diez si cambiaran los colchones de la cama, a gritos piden que se renueven, super incomodo, te pellizca, te jala, te pica, se hunde, sientes el resorte, la incomodad y no descansas. La alberquita tampoco se antoja utilizarla.

Pesima experiencia a la llegada al hotel el recepcionista sin preguntar nada solo pidiendo cuantos son porque van a pagar 210 pesos mas por personas adicionales cuando ni da la bienvenida ni que tal de vuaje el tras el dinero decidi cancelar perdiendo una noche de cada habitacion (tenia reservadas 4 habitaciones) pero creo que cale la pena ya que no me sentiria agusto con ese tipo de personas

El lugar está muy agradable en general pero hace falta poner más atención a la limpieza en el baño, está muy limpio pero el lavamanos no lo tocaron ni antes ya que estaba sucio cuando llegamos, ni durante la estadía. La alberca sí urge limpieza a fondo. La zona donde está ubicada está muy descuidada y es una lástima porque se vería acogedor el lugar de estar mejor organizado su mobiliario urge mantenimiento en el área para que sea una invitación a la relajación

Lugar tranquilo, el peraonal que nos atendio muy amable de la mejor manera, caminas solo un poco para comprar comida, muy cerca del centro de guayabitos y de la playa, sin embargo se pueden esforzar mejor en la limpieza de las habotaciones, cuando llegamos todo bien pero al tercer dia ya no estaba tan limpio....

Renté 2 habitaciones. Desde el check-in tuvimos problemas, en una habitación nos entregaron la llave incorrecta y en la segunda habitación la puerta estaba rota. Me parece que tienen un hotel con falta de mantenimiento, administración y apoyo al personal, tienen bastantes fugas de agua, en la habitación en la que estuve el lava manos goteaba y tardaron casi 3 días en destaparnos el lavamanos y en la segunda habitación se llegó a inundar. Las toallas, sabanas y cubre almohadas están manchadas y al parecer no se ven con ganas de limpiarlas bien o comprar nuevas por parte del encargado. Un día nos fallaron con la limpieza de la habitación. En el escusado también se veían sucios y la regadera. Prácticamente tardaron en toda nuestra estancia activar el WiFi, hubo noches en los que estuvo lloviendo y que posiblemente fuera la razón por la que el WiFi tuviera problemas, pero en el día estuvo muy despejado y no había razón para que estuviera desactivado.

Considero que es un Hotel que si tuviera solucionado esos detalles el costo-beneficio sería el indicado, pero con todo lo que sucedió considero que te queda a deber.

Las cosas que me agradaron fue que el personal aun que eran muy pocos siempre estuvieron dispuestos a arreglar los problemas (aun que al parecer el encargado del hotel no lo estaba). El hotel es muy cercano a la playa. Nos agrado bastante que nos dieran un catálogo para realizar actividades y que están en proceso de mejora. Más adelante será un buen hotel.

En la recepcion no pidieron esperar minimo 30 minutos mas tomando en cuenta que llegamos a las 5pm, la puerta no estaba identificada ni con numero ni con nombre, la puerta aun con seguro se podia abrir, al dia siguiente salimos desde las 10am y regresamos hasta las 7pm y la habitacion no se habia limpiado, la regadera de pronto ya no estaba saliendo agua, etc etc el dia del chek out opte por retirarme lo mas temprano posible

La persona de recepción nos atendió muy mal, nada amable, incluso fue déspota cuando llegamos. La habitación aparentemente estaba bien, pero al estar en la estancia nos dimos cuenta que la limpieza no era buena, nos tocó hospedarnos en una habitación tipo bwngalou, y los trastes estaban sucios y los cubiertos oxidados. En el baño escurría agua de abajo del lavabo, estaba roto, las camas no están confortables. Y para variar dos veces nos quedamos sin agua para bañarnos, mi hija se quedó enjabonada y tuvo que esperar aproximadamente 40 minutos para poder enjuagarse. La limpieza diaria la empiezan a hacer muy tarde. Nada recomendable a pesar de que son instalaciones nuevas.

El hotel está a dos calles de la playa. Positivo.

El cuarto que ocupamos podría ser muy bien calificado si se le diera mantenimiento y tuviera los implementos necesarios en cocina, baños y estancia. Encontramos focos fundidos,, falta de papel sanitario, escasez de toallas, monomandos de lavabos oxidados, lo cual genera incomodidad en la estancia. El personal descuidado.

El personal desatento, algo retirado de los establecimientos, seca de la playa, muy relajante la abitación muy comoda relajante exelente para parejas
