Truly exceptional. My sister and I came here to celebrate our upcoming weddings and could not have picked a better hotel. We stayed in a Ocean Cliff Villa (the staff graciously offered us a complimentary upgrade). The room was fantastic. We remarked every five minutes of our trip how lucky we were and how impressive the property was. The service was truly outstanding from start to finish. To give a sense of just how fabulous the staff is: My laptop screen got damaged en route rendering the laptop unusable; within hours of arrival at the hotel the staff had delivered to my room an external monitor just in case I had a work emergency. Our butlers Javier and Jorge could not have been kinder; they were constantly thinking ahead to activities we might enjoy and always ensured we had reservations at convenient times. Truly, truly one of a kind. We will be back.

Everything about this property was absolutely amazing! Highly recommend visiting ! The staff were incredible, the communication was top tier. Transportation throughout the whole property was easy and certainly convenient. They also provided me a pregnancy pillow which made sleeping and lounging around in the bed and day bed so comfortable for me. I thought that gesture was very helpful. The importance to catering to our needs was the top of their list! We will certainly be coming back!

This is one of the best properties I've been to. This reminds me to Capella Ubud in Bali and since I live in Miami, O&O Mandarina would be a great option for a come back. The views, jungle, beach, food, treehouse room and amenities are unlike any other in the American continent. However, pre-stay communication via email to plan an itinerary and service at Alma restaurant (where you normally have breakfast) left a lot to be desired for a property of this level.

This resort is absolutely breathtaking, the best I've ever experienced. It's expansive, requiring buggy rides from point to point, but the convenience of communicating with staff via WhatsApp makes navigation seamless. The responses are prompt, enhancing the overall ease of getting around the property. Plus, the food options are simply outstanding.

Exceptional property with excellent service. The beauty of the hotel is unparalleled to anything in North America given that natural habitat it’s located in. Our host Jorge and Javier took excellent care of us. Unforgettable 2 dishes- the sea urchin risotto with abalone at the pop up Singapore restaurant and the simple but divine spaghetti pomodoro with charred shrimp at the Italian restaurant should be a must. These two dishes really speaks to your soul if you are a food lover. The vegetable from their garden pizza is also well done. The quality of this pizza and pasta is world class.
The spa is top notch. Will be back.

It was very tranquil and staff was very kind. It did take time to wait for food cart service to and from places since nothing is within walking distance which was annoying at times. Our dinner restaurant was canceled
On of the nights too and not many other options to choose from. Overall it was a peaceful and very relaxing experience

Unbelievably great service and attention to detail. Amazing property. Not very walkable if that’s what you are looking for, so you will be riding a lot in golf carts instead but they are very quick to pick you up and take you all over the resort. The spa and gym are amazing and the beach is beautiful. The villas are beautiful also and the food is great.

My husband and I just spent 6 nights at O&O Mandarina for our 20th anniversary & it was incredible!! We stayed in Panoramic Treehouse #309 & it had amazing views. Our hosts, Angelita & Rodolpho, took care of our every need during our stay. We miss their kind & smiling faces already!! The whole staff was just amazing which made it so perfect!! From the cart drivers, cleaning service, room service, bartenders, spa service, dining service, to the seamless check out, it could NOT have been better. We are grateful for their impeccable service & kindness. The property was absolutely gorgeous with jungle as well as ocean views. Plan your visit now if you're looking for a private, peaceful & stunningly beautiful place to vacation!!
Shout out to Sergio for taking such good care of us at the adult pool & to the in-house doctor that helped my husband with his stomach issues. Thank you❤️❤️❤️

This place was amazing! The property itself is beautiful. Everything is surrounded by beautiful trees and flowers and every place seems to have this gorgeous view of the ocean.

The staff is extremely nice and the service was fantastic! Everyone was very attentive, always smiling and really gave the impression that they loved being there.

I normally do not leave reviews but I have to this time. This was one of the most unbelievable places I have ever stayed and i have been lucky to stay in some of the worlds best places from the Burj in Dubai to the Four Seasons in Bali. This had everything. The staff do not know how to say no and the villas are top class. The mix of Jungle and the beach is quite unique and honestly breathtaking. If I was to give them some areas to look to improve - its only 1 year open so they are missing a few things like greeting you by name, the staff do an amazing job cleaning the rooms but they can be slow to come clean the room and their wines are outrageously priced. This place is not cheap to stay so I’m pretty sure most like a good bottle of wine but why would anyone pay 10X the cost of wine. A simple bottle of silver oak is over $500 which would cost $60 in the store. As a result, there were very little bottles being served which was a shame. Not sure of the logic here but it was disappointing. Ended up drinking a few $50 glasses of wine in the evenings. All in all, that is nit picking and the holiday was one if not the best we have been on. Well done to the team in Mexico and to the One & Only

Let’s start with the positive… the hotel & location is stunning. The rooms are also very nice & spa it’s great as well.

Now let’s get into the negative… they are seriously understaffed.
You can only get around the property with the golf carts and there is always a wait of at least 15/20 minutes to pick you up and take you anywhere. It would be nice if they could provide you bikes so you could get around on your own if you want.

The food is super overpriced and it needs some serious work.

We went to the adult pool the first day and i forgot my spf in the room asked the guy that was there if they had any so i wouldn’t have to waste 30 mins going back to the room but they didn’t have any spf and didn’t know if the store sold it, I asked for some water and after 45 minutes nobody showed up so we left and went to the beach. Service there it’s better but still not up to the standards of a property of this level.

You’re very secluded meaning it takes you 30 minutes to get to closest town and the store in the property doesn’t have anything aside of some clothes so definitely pack your essentials before.

We had to leave prior to our departure date because our son had an emergency eye surgery but I literally had to call and email them multiple times to process my refund back to my card which took over 15 business days. Which seems unnecessarily long.

Relax, unpack and enjoy this exquisite property!

A beautiful getaway in the jungle! Our 1st stay at a One & Only property & the quality of service is first class. Our butler Angel took care of our transportation needs, reservations & was friendly, helpful and professional. Our ocean Villa was well appointed and the plunge pool just a few steps away with views of the jungle & water.
Getting a buggy wasn’t difficult until the last day when the property was at 90% capacity.
Adult pool is fabulous and perhaps an adults only restaurant should be a consideration. Food quality and presentation were on point. Brenda in the spa gave me one of the best massages of my life!
Celebrating my husband’s birthday here was fun and a chocolate piñata along with fruit and cake were a nice touch.
This was the 3rd property on our 10 day vacation and O&O was relaxing as well as a place to meet some new friends!

Beautiful New Hotel - Lots of Activities

Beautiful Resort with a lot of activities, beautiful pools and beaches and very family friendly. Rooms are spacious, new and clean with beautiful views and lots of privacy. Drawbacks: You have to take a golf cart everywhere you go and it can take time to get one so you spend a lot of time waiting for rides. In the end, we packed to be away from the room for the whole day so we did not have to worry about travel time back to our room. Bottles/Glasses of wine are unreasonably expensive. Food was excellent with a lot of variety...Carao was our favorite restaurant...open for dinner. Breakfast is good and included in the room rate. Be careful if you have traveling in the rainy season...a lot of the hotel amenities close when it rains. It takes almost 2 hours to get to/from the airport but this should get better once the highway is completed. The horseback riding and zip lining are great and worth the cost.

The best R&R in Mexico!

I just landed back home after a five day trip to this amazing property! I’m already itching to return.

Stunning landscape, unique setting and top notch service. I highly recommend staying in one of their treehouse accommodations.The spa was also divine.

My wife and I stayed at the One&Only Mandarina for 8 nights. The resort is amazing - fantastic location, nice beach, very private, good food, and a variety of things to do. There are a few things I think they will work out over time, including: removing the tables around the beach pool and replacing them with cabanas, some maintenance issues in some of the villas (we had a cabinet wall fall off during our stay), offering more coffee than just a small french press, and replacing items in the minibar more frequently. these items did not significantly take away from our stay - we loved the resort!

However, the food needs work... way over priced, especially for the quality and taste. The free breakfast was actually the best meal available.
