Listen, this was partially our fault for not really paying attention to the listing. This property was so far from being an all inclusive of the standards I’ve been at. The beach was full of nationals having a grand time with their tents chairs families and music. Nice to see, but there was NO accommodation (beach chairs) for us. The lock on the door was broken. The room felt desolate with a defunct kitchen taking up a huge space. The safe was broken with no way to protect valuables. It was no what we expected at all. We got out of their within a day and they hotel was gracious enough to return the unused portion. We booked ourselves elsewhere.

This is the BEST place to go if you want a rest and recharge. The beach is pristine andthe staff is amazing. Yes, it's an older building but they keep it so clean and update the best that they can. If you are expecting 5 star it's not for you. If you want the best location and staff and a very clean hotel, then give this place a try.

The property is very well kept. The beach is nice but lounge chairs are reserved early in the morning by guests with towels over them so you have to get a VERY early start if you want lounge chairs. The service is very good but if you’re expecting a traditional all-inclusive, you will be disappointed. There are set meal times for food and alcohol is only available from 11 am until midnight.

My sister & I visited in January 2025. We chose this resort because it was a modest size, away from the hustle & bustle of the big city. Also, we had read reviews that it was popular with Mexicans, which we figured that was a good endorsement, and would make it more interesting (it did).

Other things we liked during our stay: great food, with many choices, including both Mexican and N American style. All well cooked. The beach was beautiful, with powdery sand, and kms long; great for walking. Loved the view from our room. It was also very handy to town. The resort staff were wonderful and helpful.

Things we were not crazy about: noisy in the evenings, with entertainment in the pool area (there was nowhere in the resort you could escape it)...unless of course, you were participating in the entertainment activities and games...which we did and it was really fun. Sometimes the resort also blasted music toward the beach...which spoiled any relaxing.

The endless parade of vendors up & down the beach, all with the same things (jewellery, braid-making, tattoo-making, etc), all asking you if you wanted something. They weren't pushy, but you had to keep saying \"No, gracias\", which was interruptive and made you feel a bit guilty.

Would we go back? Not sure.

The restroom toilet was by dirty. It had anting around from not being cleaned often.!the room was nothing like the pictures in the internet. Beds were small! and very uncomfortable. The pillows had some kind of plastic. I clicked on a suite. Nothing to do with suite! I paid over $300 for one night over $6,000 pesos. I also had to pay $52 dollars for 4 tickets that were given to me to get pool towels. I didn’t use pool towels never got the towels. I had the Wi-Fi paper code and copy of contract but t no ticket for towels. They were laminated. I couldn’t find them had to pay 1,200 oasis for that! 😡. At the bar they had six tables total all were being used by guests that were in the pool. No we’re to sit down ands have our unlimited drinks from the bar! It was all inclusive! Not worth it at all. Will never stay here. This was Guayabitos! In Los Ayalas way better! More for your money! This is the first time I have been disappointed with Hotels.com!

My husband experienced a medical emergency on our first day at the resort. Due to his condition, we were unable to complete our stay. The resort refused to issue a refund but assured us that we would be issued a credit. No credit was ever received after numerous requests. Management was unhelpful, uncaring and undependable. Support staff was nice.

The hotel is on the older side but well kept. We were on the 3rd floor near the elevator which was great. I did have an issue with the cleanliness of the pillows or smell rather. The staff is really nice but some of the restaurant staff shoudl be more attentive. They have (2) bars which is convenient. On the other hand, there's only (1) regular size pool and a small one for kids which get filled fast. Only (1) restaurant which you have to stand in line for at times. Although we were told some rooms have a fridge, I think all the rooms should have a mini fridge to avoid going to the bar for ice all the time.

Room did not have wifi. We went back to front desk and they gave us password for bar and lobby area but it didn’t work in room. Went back to desk and showed on our booking that wifi was supposed to be in our room. We were reluctantly given a password to use but it didn’t work so we gave up trying as we were just there for one night. Our room was very musty smelling and no mini fridge to keep drinks cool. Only 1 bar serviced the entire hotel which was very busy and 1 bartender.

My sister and I really enjoyed our stay here. The staff was very friendly and always so attentive to your needs. We got to enjoy the buffet, drinks at the bar and even a snack bar they have by the pool. It is located right in front of the beach which is also super convenient. We have stayed at this place a few times and it’s always well cared for and this last trip even shows some improvements like drinks in the refrigerator and candy on the table, the only thing that could use a little help is the elevator, it’s not their fault, there is a sign that says you shouldn’t use it if you’re wet but people do anyway.

needs major renovation. food is poor quality. chef only shows up before service of food. I was charged extra on a per person charge instead of per room. Expedia needs to stop listing this hotel. father in law had not even handed the keys to the room when construction crew walked into the room and say the door had to be fixed right then and now but there was no urgent need to all that needed to happen eas for the worker to wait for the checkout. rooms have sewer smell which staff said they are planning on a fix. As mentioned the extra unexpected charge was what made my stay terrible.

The beach was wonderful for long walks. There were many venders on the beach, but they were not after you to buy which was great. The hotel is all inclusive with all Mexican food which is what we expected. The hamburger was a pleasant surprise. Snack bar with pizza open all the time. When we were there most of the American/ Canadian tourists were gone so Mexican people mainly. They provided musical entertainment and games.You are in the town so walked and bought gifts in the stores . Taxi is very inexpensive so went to another town for the market. Streets are cobble stone so need to be careful walking.

The loud music started at 7:30 am and ends at 11:00pm.

The food is really good. The locación is perfect, on the beautiful beach. The personal is courteous and serviceable.
The installations need maintenance like AC not blowing cold air in the rooms. No phones in the rooms, no wi-fi in the rooms.

Get what you pay for

Top three are:
1. Staff. Staff was very nice, all way around. You will need to attempt (if you don’t know) Spanish and that goes a long way. Folks working there are not wealthy, so tips are appreciated;
2. Food. For those that like Mexican cuisine, this is your place. Everything is fresh (even the bread) and there is good variety every day. With a short wait, the food can be prepared for you. Of course, garbage is obtained at the snack bar (the wieners – yuk!). Oh, and the bar even has 100% agave (el Jimador);
3. Location on beach. Nice to just go into the water and float. You hear much of the quality (sanitation wise), but it seemed relatively clean. The resort is even located in town and much can be obtained by just walking into town.
The bottom three:
1. Dilapidated rooms. The rooms are pretty used. Most rooms have a second sink which may or may not work and make SURE the air conditioning works (we had to press them on this one). Much of the trim in the rooms was in need of servicing, the TV’s were vintage 1980 and beware of pests. On our last day, we had to run the AC to 16C to attempt to freeze the scores of ants that were staying for free;
2. Vendors - the beach is crawling with them. But in fairness, they are polite and we did purchase a lot from them;
3. No warnings of water hazards. Though the resort down the way gave warnings, this resort does not. Sort of nice to know if there are jellyfish,

El hotel está muy agusto, un poco caro por la temporada de vacaciones, está frente a la playa, la playa está muy tranquila sin olas. Estuvimos en la primera planta y teníamos vista al mar todo el día, lo único que podrían mejorar es tener una alberca más grande en el área donde tienen los jardines.

La mayoria del personal causa una experiencia muy buena, el 80% de ellos son amables y te hacen sentir muy comodo, la comida es buena y las noches tematicas ayudan mucho con la variedad. Las bebidas abarcan diferentes gustos, y la barra de snacks tambien cumple las expectativas. En general un hotel bastante agradable.

Negativo, que el elevador no funciono durante toda nuestra estadia y subir y bajar los 4 pisos fue algo pesado (5 dias), una noche se fue la luz por dos horas y no cuentan con planta, los huespedes que rentan grupo musical hasta la media noche que no dejan descansar y la alberca con demasiados quimicos que lastiman los ojos. Ah! Y que permitan entrar a huéspedes escurriendo de la alberca, aunque claramente tengan señalado que esta prohibido.

El servicio en si, es muy bueno. La comida del restaurante es buena, El servicio del bar es bastante bueno y el personal muy atento a las necesidades del huesped, El único detalle que yo noté es que ya son instalaciones viiejas, creo que ya necesitarian una renovación, el servicio de internet es medio raro, ya que existen varias redes y hay que estar configurandolas, yo al menos lo hice con 3. Asi mismo los condensadores de aire acondicionado están en los pasillos, por lo que al pasar por ellos, se siente el aire caliente y es incomodo. Por lo demás bastante recomendable

Si bien es un buen hotel para descansar, esta vez me sorprendieron con la \"politica\" para la recepcion de huespedes. Por motivos ajenos a mi, el traslado fue largo y cansado por lo que llegue a las 4:00 am al hotel con mi hijo de 12 años. Al tocar en recepcion di los datos de mi reservacion y resguardar el equipaje. Cuando me iba a sentar en la sala de espera para descansar un rato
y aguardar a que llegara la hora del check-in me dice el encargado que no podemos aguardar en la recepcion ya que esta prohibido que haya alguien que no es del personal a esa hora y que teniamos que esperar afuera del hotel hasta las 7:00 am que es cuando se abrian las puertas de recepcion! Como es posible que se atrevan a sacar al huesped del hotel, en la madrugada y con un menor de edad? Aun con amabilidad eso no se le hace al huesped! Con esta experiencia no regreso al hotel, definitivamente.
