Shout out to Lexi and the rest of the staff at Skylark! They really went above and beyond. Clean hotel, clean pool and hottub, good breakfast. Only small complaint is our particular room had an odd bathroom sink setup and the spout would get water all over the countertop. Other than that it was a great stay and we would definitely recommend it!

The staff at The Skylark was incredible. They're all very friendly and welcoming. The property was well kept & clean. Only thing was our bathroom. It had no fan and you could clearly see the walls had moisture in them. There was bubbling on the shower walls and noticeable signs of wood rot. I really enjoyed the property so i am sad to rate it a 3.

We had a bad key experience for the duration of the trip I had to Jimmy the lock, the wallpaper seem better days. But otherwise it has a very casual funky interior that spacious and an excellent bathroom. Main service is regular in the area and grounds were exceptional and clean.

Absolutely beautiful hotel, a vintage mid century motel which has been refurbished in the original style but with modern convenience. The staff have been lovely. It’s a really great place. The pool is awesome. The decor is on point. Comfy bed. The room is really quiet, oh I slept so well. There is food served in the hotel for lunch and dinner but I didn’t try it, other than the breakfast which is good. Just a block or two up are Ricks and Billy Reed’s and others also near. Great location. Google will take you to the back of the motel so make a left and left again to find the parking and the check in. 100% I will stay again. It’s got that charm

The star of this show is Scott so friendly and welcoming! The property is older but was the exact esthetic we had in mind. Bed was so comfy love the weight of the down. Shower was clean and beautiful design will definitely recommend and return.

We just had a wonderful and relaxing stay at the Skylark Hotel! Nice quiet smaller property. Loved the pool and hot tub, with late flexible hours. Loved the complementary hot breakfast - bacon, eggs, potatoes+! Very clean and large nicely decorated rooms. Polite and helpful staff. Great location, just walking distance to several restaurants and the Regional Medical Center. On-site restaurant and bar as well. Highly recommend!

Hated the check-in process. The person helping me (Lexi) took 20 minutes explaining to me why I wouldn’t get my room for another 30 minutes, instead of just telling me I could have another room. why even go there to begin with ?? Don’t mention it and give another room! She talked in circles and I had a hard time following her.
And if I needed something during her shift, she just kinda grunted in acknowledgment & helped me, but was very unfriendly & barely acknowledged me. I did see her often walking around the property looking down at her phone or hanging out at either bar with bar staff socializing while people waited by the check in window.
Lexi definitely needs some lessons/training on appropriate levels of customer service. It would be in Skylark’s best interest to provide that.
Other staff at skylark were amazing! In particular, Mark at lost property, went above & beyond to make me feel relaxed and contented as I had a late dinner one night. Then again he and Andrea provided excellent service the next day for dinner & made me feel comfortable - 2 great experiences!
Also want to mention Alex who also provided great service & great personality while I was having lunch at the restaurant. And most importantly, the restaurant has amazingly yummy, fresh, healthy food!!! Check it out!!

Excellent service! My daughter and I really enjoyed being on the property for a couple days. We used the pool, the free bikes and enjoyed the view of the mountains from in front of our room each morning.
There was a little issue in our room and without even asking, we were given a voucher for a delicious breakfast in the attached restaurant. Will definitely stay there again in the future!

We enjoyed our stay at The Skylark in Palm Springs. The hotel is located in a quiet, relaxing neighborhood, and the staff was friendly and helpful. The property overall felt clean and updated, but our particular room, especially the bathroom, felt a bit dated. We would’ve loved to stay in one of the more recently renovated rooms. Still, a pleasant stay overall!

The hotel is in an older building which has been remodeled, and looks great. It is very clean and staff is attentive. The pool and views of the surrounding mountain is beautiful, and has a convenient in property restaurant. Being an older buolding it is not particularly soundproof, and it is on the expensive side, which is unavoidable in this town. I would stay again.

We had a wonderful weekend stay at the Skylark. The weekend staff member who checked us in was very friendly and informative, and we saw him working hard alongside all the maintenance staff to keep the property clean throughout the weekend. Despite cooler weather, the pool was clean and heated and towels were available. Floating in the warm water with the views of palm trees and the mountains was a real joy! We borrowed the free on-site bikes to ride through the neighborhoods full of beautiful mid-century homes right across the street! And the on-site restaurant was convenient and delicious. We would definitely stay here again!

Overall, had a nice stay. Staff was great and property and pool area were clean and well-maintained. Rooms are nice, but bathrooms, especially showers, are small, with showers having low water pressure. Beds were a bit soft for our tastes. We stayed on first floor and found the noise/footsteps coming from guests on second floor very loud. Would recommend staying on 2nd floor or in row of units that don't have a second floor.

The Skylark was a nice retro hotel with a lovely swimming pool and hot tub. Our upstairs room was spacious. Small shower but plenty of hot water! Comfy king bed & good lighting. Very friendly staff. When we locked ourselves out of the room they had it opened in minutes! I would recommend the Skylark for a reasonably priced hotel in Palm Springs.

We had an awesome time here! The staff is really friendly and amenities are great. Everything is very clean. Only downside is that they use keys for the doors and our key stopped working suddenly. They tried all the keys they had and it didn't work. We had to wait for the locksmith in our bathing suits and were late for dinner by the time they got the door open. They didn't offer us anything for the inconvenience.

I couldnt find a piece of jewelery after check out and I called asking if they'd found it and they told me they would comb the laundry and room and stayed in touch as they searched which I felt very appreciative for. As much as I wanted to enjoy this place cause of the good reviews, I did not enjoy my stay here. The outdoor area of the motel is very cute but the room I had was pretty worn down despite the remodel. All the furniture was old and run down. The bed was comfortable but because of the poor condition of the furniture I had my doubts about the beds cleanliness however, there were no noticeable stains. Lastly, the room stunk of Fabuloso or another cheap cleaning product. It was so strong I had a headache most of the night. I didn’t see any water stations anywhere around the hotel and the don’t even leave a courtesy water bottle. I think you’re better off paying the extra 50-100 bucks and finding somewhere else to sleep.

The cleaner they use smells awful, really strong and toxic, took hours to air out the room. Also they need blackout curtains - rooms are very bright when trying to sleep. Pool area is nice - not sure its resort fee nice but it’s a nice pool area.

I had an absolutely fabulous stay at the Skylark, which prompted me to extend for a few days. To a person, the staff was very friendly and accommodating. The pool area was delightful, and the restaurant onsite, Lost Property, has amazing food. Needless to say, this is a hearty recommendation.

Hotel was great for a quick weekend staycation. About a mile walk to downtown but just a few mins drive to everything. Property was clean, comfortable and quiet. Staff were very friendly and attentive. Room was comfortable and clean. Would definitely stay here again or recommend for a quiet, relaxing weekend by the pool. Would definitely like to try their restaurant, breakfast/bar next time.

Cute, clean and small. This is great for a weekend getaway. There’s many shops less than a 5min drive. The pool is clean and wasn’t full when we went. It’s a really quiet and small hotel so if you’re trying to party this is not the place. I would come back.
