C'est un petit hôtel correct à 1,3 km de marche du centre de Honfleur. Zone très touristique il peut être avantageux de sortir un peu de centre-ville. Il y a des bus le A et le B qui vont vers le centre-ville pendant la journée mais pas en soirée. La chambre est petite mais propre.

For the price and type of hotel, it was very good. The room was very small and the bathroom was extremely compact, but clean and about what we expected for the budget price. There was lots of parking and we appreciated the green space at the back with outdoor seating. The breakfast was very good, again considering the price.
Across the road very nearby there were a couple of shops, a bakery and a good greengrocers with local produce. We were able to walk straight down the road into the town (about 20 mins). Although it was a busy road it had an avenue of trees down the middle and not unpleasant to walk along.

Excellent value for money (especially for Honfleur and easily walkable to the old part) and helpful staff. We had two bikes which we managed to fit into our room for security. The manager changed our rooms so we didn’t have to carry them up 2 flights of stairs! Basic room but everything you need. Breakfast at €6.50 was very good value but give the coffee a miss!

The Good and the Bad

Good: the room was what you’d expect, with a good bed and not much room, but OK. Clean and functional. Clean, good toilet.
Bad: the bathroom was old, clean, but the soap dish had ingrained dirt. Some of the fibreglass was getting shabby, and most important the shower was bad. Part of the shower rail fitting had fallen off, and the shower head no longer fitted the rail and simply hung there, with a knot in the water tube tied off with a cable tie. When used the shower head blew off repeatedly and had to be shoved back on - at least half a dozen times - and always fell off during the soapiest moments. And a sticky shower curtain in 2019? Really?
But consider the value for money. It’s good and the position is very good, 10 minutes’ walk from town and free parking. But one of the bedside lights was held together with black tape around the switch and didn’t work.
Even at this price, they need to spend a little on refurbishment to bring it up to standard.
The concierge, incidentally, was helpful and efficient.

If all you require is somewhere to lay your head..

If you just wish a clean bed overnight then this is fine, otherwise the room is small, the shower room and toilet is a small cubicle in the corner of the room. Wifi is ok. Parking is free on site. Staff are friendly and helpful. 20 minutes walk into Honfleur which is beautiful with plenty of restaurants and bars amongst all the beautiful architecture. Continental breakfast available should you require it in the Hotel.

Great location with a McD's across the car park for a convenient coffee or three. Electronic check in made things easier and had no interaction with staff at all. This is a basic accommodation with no frills, but perfect for a one or two night stay. The local area is fantastic, albeit a little expensive, with lovely views and great eateries.

The hotel is conveniently located on a road that leads into the old harbor area. The lady at the front desk was polite and helpful. The room was a little shabby, and it was not air conditioned. The bathroom was cramped and a little boat-like. The area around the hotel was nothing special, but the harbor—what I had come to see—was only a short 20-minute walk. Plenty to see and do there. Overall, this hotel wasn’t great, but it was a comfortable place to sleep and it offered a very inexpensive rate. I was satisfied with my stay.

Well - its a premiere classe hotel!
As a late booking this was all that was left in the area we wanted for three nights, my issue was the price twice what I'd say it was worth indeed, cashing in on the area and popularity.
Don't get me wrong, the staff were fine if needed, it was clean & kept tidy, its just an old building and the aroma of the room was to match its age, and again for the price very cramped, still we had a great weekend and went out a lot!
P S - its next to MacDonald's but not really an issue & no cooking smells at all we noticed.
Well done to them for the cooking arrangements and sensible opening times.

Premi'ere Place Hotel is Last Class Hotel !!!

The worst plave I have ever had in Europe. Very rude staff, You are met by a machine that gives you a card. The machine was \"out\" to lunch until 14:00 and the staff are only there in early morning or from 5 to9. If you miss them...good luck! I was lucky...enough to see one walking out who refused to help me, she was soo rude !

This hotel did exactly what it said on the tin. Small, cheap room but very clean, free parking and a 15 minute walk into the beautiful city of Honfleur. Wouldnt bother with the €5.90 all you can eat breakfast as it is only bread and yoghurt. Macdonalds is next door so that would be better. Overall its a bargain room for only sleeping in.

A non smoking room reeked of cigarette smoke! There were cigarette burns in the plastic sink from past abusers who smoked in this \"non-smoking\" room. After we alerted the staff to this, she handed us a spray bottle of room freshener spray and said all the rooms were like that. Stay away from this nightmare!

Fourteen days on the road.

The hotel was suffice for location but we were not able to park the car and take the local transportation. There were only two Bath Towels and hand towels provided. Staff were very friendly and the rooms for a short stay were good during our fourteen day travel, we stayed in different locations which included Strasbourg France, Milan Italy, Geneva Switzerland, Paris France, Normandy France, Brussels Belgium, Wolfs-burg Germany finishing up in Frankfurt Germany to return home to Canada.

Convenient and cheap but cramped, dirty and smelly

On the plus side, it was well situated and easy to find, inexpensive and to be fair the bed was very comfortable. However the room was extremely cramped with only about 8 inches from the end of the bed to the wall, making it quite difficult to access the bathroom.
On first opening the door the smell hit you, we were given room 29, I asked to be moved and was given room 28 next door, same thing, we had prepaid and it was quite late so felt little choice but to put up with it for the night.
Close inspection revealed the cause of the problem, floors washed with one bucket of water which was filthy by the time rooms on the top floor were \"cleaned\", also, the rooms all have external entrances and damp was in evidence.
Overall, not the greatest of overnights.

Acceptable stay for the modest price

Located just outside the old town, acceptable accommodation for what was required, one-night stop, and modestly priced. It was easy to find, and I had no problem with parking. It might be a bit 'tedious' for a longer stay, as room and facilities were 'basic and very cosy'. But it was clean. I didn't have the 'at additional cost' breakfast that was available, so cannot comment on that.

My husband and I stayed for one night on the way to Paris.We had wanted to visit Honfleur for a long time and we were not disappointed with the lovely town and port. The hotel was however a real let down.The room was tiny and unclean and we could barely move around it. The bathrrom was very small and cramped and all in all we felt like we were staying in a prison cell. Its a fair walk to town and theres not much around the hotel except a McDonalds which is right nest to the hotel. Whilst walking in to town we found a couple of accor hotels that would have been much nicer,closer to town and around the same kind of money. Go somewhere else if you can.

I was impressed by our stay in that this is a motel type of hotel and you get exactly what you would expect. If you want a comfortable clean safe place to stay for a reasonable price why you are exploring a lovely area of France this is a very good option. I would also point out the honesty of the staff. I left a pair of earrings in the room after we had checked out. They emailed me to let me know and are posting them to me. You will not get this type of service everywhere!!

Very satisfactory for a one-night stopover. Room would be too small for comfort during the day over a longer stay. Rooms probaly a bit too hot during hot weather (no air conditioning). The external stairs could be a problem for older people as there are no lifts. Breakfast was extremely good value for money. Reception was efficient and friendly. I would definetley use this hotel again for a one-night stay.

other guests made quite a noise late at night, scraping furniture across floor just above us, laughing and talking loudly. I guess we were just unlucky.
Extractor fan did not work in the bathroom, so did not clear steam, or remove the obvious odours, apart from this, the room was adequate, for a no thrills hotel.

Very convenient for visiting the town but the rooms are rather sparsely furnished mainly due to the lack of space. OK for a one night stop-over but not so good for a long term stay.

We have been using Premiere Classe for over 15 years while en route, but the prices have increased considerably and now they are not such good value compared with other hotel chains.

Fine if you have a ride to the city

This place is great for saving some $$ if you don't mind staying in Honfleur proper. It's just a very quick 3 minute (2km) drive into town. The rooms are small but clean. The bathrooms are REALLY tiny (similar to airport restrooms) but get the job done. Take into account that if you're driving into Honfleur and spending most of the day there, you'll likely pay 12 Euros for parking per day, so if you're saving less than that by staying here don't bother. Otherwise it's a great deal. One last thing. At check-in they'll give you coupons for 15% off a dinner at a nearby hotel/restaurant (whose menus are in the room as well). DON'T eat there - terrible food and service. Go eat in Honfleur or even at the McDonalds right next door, both options are better than the promotional deal.

If you want to stay overnight in Honfleur and you're on a budget this place is cheap, clean and the 5ft bed was comfortable.The receiptionist was on duty when we arrived and we were given a second floor room. It was small and dark and could easily be improved by selecting different decoartion colours. The bathroom is a preformed pod that sits in the corner of the room. If you are used to sailing a 36ft yacht you would consider this bathroom quite spacious. However most people will consider it incredibly small. It did have a sink, toilet and shower and all worked well. Like the bedroom the colour choice was questionable. In this case pale orange all over.
This place is not a destination hotel but Ok for a night.
On our way home we chose to spend another £35 and stayed at the Ibis down the road.
