Our stay was underwhelming as the hotel/ room are less nice than the photos. It is quite expensive for a tiny bedroom, old building, staff all look indifferent when they see you, great central location is the only positive thing about this stay.

We had two rooms. One of the rooms wasn’t configured the way we initially asked so they re adjusted which was nice. The rooms were very hot and our adult children room had no airflow or cooler. We asked for fan very early in day as we arrived well before check in time. We kept asking and they said they would find one but they told us at midnight they gave the last one away. We had to sleep with windows wide open where. It’s flew in and out and at 2am a very large spider crawled across my daughter’s pillow. Needless to say didn’t sleep well. I shared feedback and got “sorry” - not sure I would stay there again or recommend . It’s too bad as it was a cute hotel central to village .

We arrived in the middle of an extreme heat wave. The hotel does not have air conditioning and didn’t have enough fans for all rooms and they were positively unapologetic and unhelpful in securing or looking for additional fans. My room was 90 degrees. I slept with a cold wet towel on my chest. Also, they have a restaurant on ground floor which has guests until long after 11pm (see photo); the noise from it was incredibly loud for guests in the hotel rooms. I learned that the hotel was not full and the receptionist was initially unwilling to even check those rooms for fans. Furthermore we had two rooms and one of the rooms was in an annex about 1/4 mile away- to our surprise. The receptionist argued that we were told this but could not produce- nor could I locate- any such communication or information (nor photos) about this additional property UNTIL the day before we checked in which was after our cancellation period. The email was false in that it said, ‘as we have told you, this room is in the annex.’ Except of course I have all their last emails and it is never mentioned. Bait and switch.
This hotel doesn’t have a basic level of customer service. Oh and all the carpets in the hallways are old and dirty. Stay elsewhere in Honfleur- might I suggest Les Manoir des impressionists where I stayed in 2025 and it was fantastic.
Oh yeah, also there was no parking (full!) despite its listing on the website as being included - they sent me 1/2 mile away to public lot

Bathroom flooded, they said we would get moved to another room that never happened, they said they fixed the shower but you had to keep the shower on low water force so it wouldn’t flood again. I love Honfleur but would never stay at that hotel again.

We loved the quaint hotel - but being up on the fourth floor with no lift made it a less than perfect stay. Nothing you can do about that - and we could have requested a different room - but we're still healthy enough to make the climb, it was just less-than-ideal.

The staff were wonderful - and the location in Honfleur was lovely - just a really neat experience. The room itself was fine and very clean - no issues there at all. The access and parking situation in May of 2026 was a bit difficult - due to construction activities we did end up parking a few blocks away and having to move suitcases that way on foot - not sure there is anything you can do about that, but again, made it a less-than-perfect stay. We would absolutely recommend the place to friends - but warn them on the two issues of stairs and parking.

Great stay in a historic hotel in the heart of Honfleur - beautiful rooms and comfy beds - charming service - too many great restaurants around the area meant we didn’t eat there and breakfast not for us bar a coffee and a croissant which we had locally - ( only slight gripe booked a parking space but then car park was full and had to park in public car park - but no big deal and they didn’t charge for that night and the electric chargers were a bonus - got the impression locals were using it as only needed a code and did not ask for vehicle details when checked in )

The only negative on this property is that we arrived around 5:00pm and couldn't find a single convenient place to park to unload our bags. We tried to park out front for a few minutes to unload and got chased away. We parked in the lot down past the carousel. We only stayed in Honfleur one night so on Saturday, we were woken up by what seemed like the entire town setting up for their market at 5:00am. The market was great! We checked out and tried to leave at approximately 10:00am but were again faced with having to lug our baggage through the streets to the parking lot which was a decent distance away. The hotel was nice, the rooms were clean, but the parking is terrible!

Our first dinner at the hotel was a disappointment. Receptionist was no were to be found and we seated ourselves after waiting 30 minutes to be seated (and we were only 1 of 3 people having dinner.) Our waitress could not open a bottle of wine (it was her first time?). When our first choice of wine was sold out, the hotel offered a much more expensive bottle. No luck in getting dessert since our first courses of salad etc. were forgotten all together. Would not recommend restaurant when so many other good choices are within walking distance.

Our stay at this hotel was disappointing. Finding the location was a struggle due to an incorrect address on Google Maps, with no guidance provided. When we called ahead to inform reception of our late check-in, the woman answering was the only staff member there and struggled to understand us in French. Even in person, communication was difficult, though switching to English helped slightly. On arrival, we discovered parking had to be booked in advance, something that was never communicated to us—not even during the call. The lack of a lift was another issue, forcing us to carry our luggage to the second floor late at night, which we only learned about by reading the fine print on the website. Additionally, the toilet in the room was uncomfortably small. Overall, it was an unwelcoming experience with poor communication and lack of guest consideration

Great hotel be aware of the parking!

Really nice hotel on the centre of the town. Very good modern facilities while keeping the character of the hotel. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. We were upgraded from a cosy to a standatd room and it was comfortable, well appointed and characterful. Didnt eat in the hotel as there is so many great options nearby and €26 is too much for a breakfast in any hotel for me. However there are plenty of great artisan boulangeries close by. The only reason i didnt give this hotel 5 is that it advertises it has parking which it does not. There are a couple of spaces in a public square outside, so you have to park elsewhere in the town which could be challenging depending when you arrive. That said it would not stop me staying there again. We really enjoyed it!

Beautiful hotel in the heart of the town. Lovely room. The reception kept us waiting for an hour even though check in was advertised as 3pm and then forgot us. Wonderful Property.

We had a fantastic stay at Les Maisons de Lea. It is in a fantastic location. We loved the \"quirkiness\" of the hotel. Very comfortable bed and bath. Was a nice surprise that the items in the mini-bar (including alcohol were gratis). You do have to book parking in advance (which would have been nice to know in advance). There is ample public parking within walking distance. Because the age of the property there were no lifts to the floor of our room. This property could be more difficult for a person with mobility issues, but was great for us.

We booked a \"Privilege Room\" which clearly stated \"Private bathroom, deep-soaking bathtub\" also \"Free WiFi\".
We booked this because I have a chronic back condition and benefit from soaking in a hot tub each morning. What we received was a shower an no bath. The hotel was full and informed us that the mistake was in the description given by Hotels.com. The wifi did not work at all over the last 2 to 3 days of our 4 night stay. An enjoyable stay in a favourite town

A lovely stay in a quiet area of a beautiful and very popular town. Weekdays seem to be the best days to visit. It's our third visit to Honfleur but our first in this hotel.

Our room was very comfortable towards the back with windows facing the courtyard. We had a separate bathroom and toilet plus coffee and tea making facilities. A side entrance to the courtyard meant we could come and go without passing through reception. It was very quiet except for the sounds of staff chatting over a break.

There is a Michelin Bib Gourmand rated restaurant (Le Bréard) just across from the courtyard entrance to the hotel. Sadly, they were fully booked so we ate at the hotel restaurant. It was a good but not memorable meal.

Service at the hotel was a bit slow, I suspect due to staff shortages, but never a problem. Staff were polite and eager to please. English was widely spoken though, of course, any attempt at French was appreciated.

We ate outside due to Covid concerns. The hotel didn't take the same precautions we'd experienced elsewhere in France, such as checking health passes and mandating masks in all public areas.

We took breakfast at a tourist café by the docks, a pleasant morning spot with surprisingly excellent coffee.

The narrow streets are not SatNav friendly and parking is 300m offsite, with limited space or time to drop off bags beforehand. Driving to the parking was slow, against a constant flow of impatient Sunday afternoon traffic, headed back to Paris.

Mini break in Honfleur

Hotel is in excellent location in Honfleur. It is in an old building with no air conditioning. Unfortunately the weather was extremely hot whilst we were there and the fan was not really adequate. It was an extreme temperature for that part of France, so suspect not usually a problem. The parking is a few minute walk away and the streets are rather narrow!

We were blown away by our first visit to Honfleur. This place is a brilliant place to visit, possibly the prettiest town I’ve been to. Es increíble la vista desde la habitación, desde que entras al lugar es como un cuento de niños. La atmósfera es divina, el personal súper atento y el lugar es simplemente mágico.
