Firstly I want to say that the staff were so kind and were so attentive. The room we stayed in was outdated and I personally don’t think that the hotel is a 5 star rated hotel. The shower had a lot of build up on it and getting in and out of the bath tub was difficult. Having a shower was a task with the water getting everywhere on the floor, window and sides of the wall. The amenities were average, we got 4 bottles of water per day and some tooth brushes, combs etc. the TV barely connected to anything, it had no Netflix and wouldn’t connect to a device.

The breakfasts were a highlight and had a great range of food with Western, Indian, Indonesian and other foods from parts of Asia. The food was great!

I think if you don’t care too much for the room and don’t find walking a long way to the lobby, then the Patra is a great option. I just don’t think this hotel is a 5 star as advertised.

The front desk staff was not to friendly and don’t give great direction. Rooms out dated and not what I booked. This hotel everything is super expensive but again not worth what the reviews say. Food service took forever and food was ok. Don’t think you’re getting a new Australian stake because that thing was a joke. They have so many trainees that it was complicated on the ordering part. The beach area was on taken care of by the facility too. It has lots of potential too. We had a message and facial don’t way over priced and as of right not working out of a room not a spa room. Better treatment I had for fraction of the price in Bali. The bus guys were great and fun.

Alles war sauber, die Ausstattung guter Standard und die Restaurants und der Poolbereich nett und idyllisch. Sehr gut ist der kurze Weg zum Strand und die fußläufige Anbindung zum Flughafen.

Weil die Hotelanlage sehr weitläufig ist, wird man normalerweise mit einem Buggy zur Lobby gefahren. Leider war an unserem Abreisetag morgens 5:00 Uhr niemand über das Hoteltelefon zu erreichen. Weshalb wir für die Schlüsselabgabe mit unserem Gepäck durch die gesamte Hotelanlage und danach wieder zurück zur Ausfahrt mussten (ca. 500m bei 28°C;). Um diese Uhrzeit und mit unseren Rollkoffern eine absolute Herausforderung für alle anderen noch schlafenden Hotelbewohner.
Wir hatten das Frühstück dazu gebucht. Weil unser Flug aber früher als die Restaurantöffnung ging, versprach man uns ein Lunchpaket vorzubereiten, welches allerdings am Morgen der Abreise nicht auffindbar war.
Alles in allem ein gutes Hotel (kleine Überraschungen inklusive;)

We needed a clean safe and convenient place to stay for one night after landing in Bali and before our Retreat started.
The Patra Bali was right beside the airport and fit the bill. Except for the occasional beautiful view of planes landing you would never know it. The resort is quiet with a lovely pool right at the oceanfront. Breakfast is included and you can buy drinks at the bar and use the facilities even after you've checked out which is working very well for us as we wait for our retreat transportation.
The property is older and is currently undergoing various renovations. That said, it is not noisy and although the fixtures and amenities are older everything is very clean and well cared for in the rooms. We did have an adjoining room and were able to hear the TV and such next door. Inside here looking for absolute silence this might not be it.
There is minimal restaurant services for dinner but it is an easy walk to many local warungs for authentic Indonesian food. This was easy enough for us to do last night and with breakfast included we were wanting for nothing for this short stay.
Would recommend for easy going visitors who want a convenient to the airport today and are happy to make their own entertainment.
Going down to the beach at Sunset is a wonderful option. Beautiful views and the local community comes out. Great opportunity for people watching

The Patra Bali Resort is an original classic complex which is well established in a great genuinely beachfront location with extensive established gardens. There are aspects that are in need of some maintenance but it is still a great place to stay. Enjoying the wonderful buffet breakfast on the terrace overlooking the huge pool area and the sea is a great holiday experience.

It's located Just beside Airport, Even one can walk to the property. Indian Breakfast options were very limited and not appealing to taste buds. Rooms were dated and toilets were the biggest setback. Booked four rooms for four nights, but no welcome by the reception party. Otherwise a well maintained landscapes and Pool was excellent. The Beach adjacent is dirty and not good. Overall a Value for money option, but you have to bear the breakfast from Indian point of view.

We’ve stayed at the patra previously and had an okay time. However this time the rooms were not as clean as before with marks on the walls and smells etc.

There were renovations going on everywhere, including a jackhammer next to the pool bar for the majority of the time we were there. definitely not a relaxing experience.

A very pretty resort right near the airport. We landed late and needed a close place. I had contacted them a few times to try to get airport transport but never heard back so we took a taxi.
The entry is gorgeous and we checked in quickly and they drove us to the rooms. The resort is pretty spread out and not easily walkable (distance).
Rooms were clean and comfortable.
We visited the bar area for our 1 night here and it was late but almost no one there. I am guessing its an older crowd.
The complimentary breakfast was very nice and service was great.

I would recommend if you are looking for a nice quiet resort.

Unexpectedly fantastic!

I was worried that the proximity to the airport and the competitive rates would reveal some shortcomings with Patra. But happily we were thrilled with the accomodation. The rooms were large and nice, the beds were comfy, the grounds beautiful, the pools and views second to none and the buffet breakfast was to die for. Cocktails at the swim up bar watching sunset was a vibe. Also just a short walk along the beach to the more tame and relaxed part of Kuta for shopping and convenience stores and restaurants etc.

Did I mention the buffet breakfast? Epic, best ever, so many options, so fresh, so delicious!

Huge recommend- we’ll be back!

We only stayed one night as we landed at 6pm and were heading north the following day. We got to the hotel just prior to 8pm and told the pools closed at 8pm which was disappointing. The bars don’t open until 11am too so if you’re in holiday mode and want some morning drinks, you’ll have to find somewhere else or wait until almost lunchtime. The food at the restaurant was tasty and the breakfast buffet was generous. Hotel grounds are lovely with multiple pools to choose from and it really doesn’t feel like you’re next door to the airport. Staff were lovely. We got “upgraded” to a deluxe villa which was very spacious but a lot of empty space, could be good if you’re travelling with a family. Overall, this resort was great.

The nature of Patra Bali resort is not really for those looking to “experience Bali” but rather for those looking to “enjoy a delightful self-contained tropical resort” and not have to worry about any logistics or dining etc. From the latter standpoint, Patra is lovely with a gorgeous lagoon-like pool and offers absolutely everything you need in a self-contained setting next to a beach and astonishingly close to the Bali airport.

I’n the day was a beautiful hotel and grounds, but when there is no upkeep of facilities it gets run into the ground. A prime example is the men’s washroom by the pool. The door knob didn’t open it and it was Jimmy rigged for years using twine and thin 1/4 “ plywood to repair I mentioned this to. Maintenance guy and he proceeded to jimmy rig it again as he could have just put on a new 100$ handle

Property was fantastic the view of the ocean and sunset was perfect, staff were very friendly and helpful Boris from the bar was was wonderful very helpful, food was a real let down, we weren’t informed when we booked that two restaurants the spa main lobby the cafe were under construction so there was one restaurant only. We were offered free dinner for the length of our stay buffet dinner but it was steamed rice and another dish which every night was tasteless bland over cooked just horrible not edible at all. One night we ordered room service our meals came icy cold straight from refrigerator pre cooked not heated or fresh we paid a lot for those meals that got chucked out only thing worth eating at breakfast was eggs made to order very very disappointing in food. Shame because resort is beautiful.

I booked it for proximity to the airport and price just for one night due to late arrival. They upgraded me to a suite and I had breakfast on the beach. Really a beautiful property with excellent amenities. Another time I would definitely stay here for longer.
