This property is fabulous!!. It has a superb location, right on the line of old town and new town. This makes it a great base from which to explore the whole city. It about 500 yards from the olderst pub in Prague!! The hotel is clean, with large rooms, staff is friendly and the breakfast makes a great start to the day. This wil be my go to hotel when visiting Prague again.

Conveniently located between the old and new city. Subway station very close. Room was modern. Bedding was comfortable. Room overlooked busy street but windows were double paned, so very little noise from the bustle below. Note... this property does not have 24 hour front desk.

The staff is wonderful and so kind. The hotel is located in the most perfect location in our opinion. We walked everywhere for 5 full days and never got bored. Breakfast is quite big, and we felt bad not finishing each day (due to Covid, they prepared fresh plate for each of us each day, instead of self-service buffet).

Our room was large and comfortable. It has a cute balcony and blackout curtains were perfect to sleep in the middle of the city. If we could be picky, we would have preferred faster Wifi as it was hard for us to work (but we were there on vacation so can't complain). It would have also helped to have more storage as we prefer to not have things on surface. Toilet was unique and slightly uncomfortable (tilted forward by a few degrees and large seating hole with thin seating area) for us, but most people probably wouldn't notice. So again, these are slightest issues. And we really truly loved our stay! We highly recommend this hotel!

Best European hotel I've stayed in!

This hotel was absolutely wonderful and located within 30 steps of Wenceslas Square. The room was comfortable, clean and modern. The staff was terrific. They were very friendly and helpful and all spoke English very well. At one point, we decided to stay an extra night so we informed one of the staff members. She simply said ok and took care of it without any extra paperwork or hastle. The hotel has very few rooms so the staff are very good at taking care of individual needs and requests. So, the only minor problem we encountered was the noise of inebriated people and the loud music from sundown until about 6 AM. In my experience, downtown Prague is a party-all-night kind of city which does not favor those who would actually like to get some sleep. But given the proximity of the hotel to Wenceslas square, I suppose that is to be expected. Either way, the hotel was fantastic and would absolutely stay there again. Next time I think i will request a higher floor to reduce my proximity to the noise.

Cute hotel, but very loud street noise 1st floor

This is a very nice boutique hotel with large rooms and a very good breakfast but the noise from the night club across the street from our room was almost unbearable. We wore ear plugs but were still woken up several times a night Thurs-Sun.

Amazing service.

Our stay was excellent. Their service started before we arrived. By scheduling a taxi pick up from the airport and giving us directions to the hotel if we decided to take other means of transportation. Unfortubately ine if our bags did not arrive and the hotel staff was kind enough to call and keep us updated on the status. Luckily it arrived the next day. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay there and recommend the hotel

Highly recommended in Prague

I stayed at Hotel Jungmann for 5 days for a business trip to Prague. Everything was perfect. The hotel was very comfortable. It was newly, and tastefully renovated in a great location- steps from Mustek metro A and B station, tons of tram lines, and old town square and all Prague has to offer. The rooms are air conditioned and large. The nespresso machine in the room is a nice touch and the free breakfast every morning is excellent. Highly recommend for your next trip to Prague.

Exceeded all of my expectations!

I'm really happy I decided to stay at Hotel Jungmann after an exhaustive search of hotels in Old Town. I wanted to be within walking distance to all of the local attractions such as Old Town Square and Charles Bridge yet wanted a hotel which was updated/modern, safe, and clean. Hotel Jungmann exceeded all of my expectations! I had a room on the 5th floor which was very spacious and seemed to have been just remodeled. The staff was pleasant and so helpful (they even let me borrow a charger for my iphone during my stay). Lots of options at breakfast, easy check in and check out at the front desk; overall, a really great stay and I would highly recommend it!

We've travelled to 6 cities, 8 three to four star hotels and this was the worst (and it's rated as a four star???). On arriving we had to park down the street because the hotel is in a square, not near parking. This caused issues, but remedied by a local parking lot. Once up to the room, it was nice, clean but on the first floor facing the square. It was so loud during the day, but at night a night club across the square hammered beats till 4am. We asked to change the room (nope), we asked for a fan to at least drown out the noise (nope), and they said they'd do something and wait for them in our room. Never came. The morning included breakfast-a oily egg, boxed juice and cereal and warm milk. When we asked for crepes (which they offered) we got eyes rolled, watches looked at and enviably no. Oh, and for 3 days stay, you get 1 water, and 1 coffee in your room. Nothing more, except cheap soap and shampoo. Finally, after all that, they then collected an exorbitant tax on our departure. \"city tax\"-what a joke. BOHO was the same price and after looking at it we kick ourselves for not booking there.

Small but perfectly formed hotel. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was spotlessly clean and large. The huge rainfall shower also had a separate hand shower. Coffee machine with some capsules. Safe, mini-bar, desk, armchair, huge comfortable bed and large flat screen TV. Not many English speaking channels that I could find. The buffet breakfast is served in a very nice small basement restaurant. The food and selection is the best I have ever seen or experienced. Fantastic location being only a few minutes walk away from the Clock Tower / Old Town square but is still quiet at night. The metro is only a few steps away.
This is an excellent hotel and is recommended without hesitation.

Perfect City Break

We had emails direct from the Jungmann confirming our booking, then to offer transport from the airport (with fixed price). Although we now know, the public transport (Bus and Metro) is outstanding, cheap and easy to use and will bring you to within 50yrds of the Hotel!
We checked in early with no problem. Room was fresh, bright and elegant. We were lucky enough to have the only room with a balcony. Staff were amazingly helpful and polite. English was not a problem!
Breakfast was typically continental with some hot choices available and was more than adequate to set you up for the day.
Location was perfect. Not far from the main Wenceslas Square and to all the other places of interest in Prague.

Absolutely loved this place. It’s close to a lot of the main tourist destinations you want to go to. The castle is a little further afield, but you can take the tram or walk - we walked there and back and it wasn’t far!
Super comfy, lovely staff, great cafe downstairs.
If we ever came back we’d definitely stay here again.

Much too short stay in Prague

Jungmann is an 8 room hotel on a pedestrian mall in the Old Town area of Prague. Service excellent-every request was accommodated. Prague is a walking city - prepare to be either tired or miss a lot. Stay for a few days and see the sights. CZ is a proud country and has accomplished more than I imagined possible. Enjoy.

Great hotel choice with caring staff

A small hotel big big on getting things right. Great rooms that are very large. Breakfast was great and the staff exceptional. We had an early morning train and the wonderful women at the front desk offered to cook us breakfast early. When back to Prague we will for sure stay here.

My only Negative comments are the beds were not the most comfortable and street noice on the rear of building can be bothersome.

The interior of the hotel has been finished to a high standard with a very modern feel but retaining plenty of character. Our room was large and the bed very comfortable. Coffee and tea making facilities were not provided and these would have been a good addition. The breakfast buffet offered adequate choices although it is taken in a very small and hot basement. The staff were always friendly and helpful when needed. The location is very good for touring the Old Town however at the weekend the streets outside are especially noisy owing to the unfortunate presence in Prague of visiting 'Stags and Hens', notably from Germany and the UK, the noise going on all through the night until breakfast time. This is no fault of the hotel, where happily these groups do not stay, but it may be wise to bring earplugs! Overall, we were happy with the hotel and would recommend it, especially for week-day nights.

3 night stay, arrived by hotel arranged taxi from airport (hotel paid as we had now local currency at that point). Good base for old town, castle, infant child visit, new town.
Left by train and thought we would need a taxi but tram was fine after walk through gardens to no 9 tram, then short walk at other end.
Restaurant next door fine for vegetarian meals (which are a bit tricky in meat focussed Prague).

World's narrowest hotel

Totally great and unique hotel experience. Hotel only has I think 6 rooms and the hotel building is only one room wide. The cafe is the lobby and great help all round from staff. Modern clean room with quiet air conditioning to block out the noise from lively Prague. Awesome location.

Unreliable Reservation System ?

Your reservation system had failed? When I arrived with my email voucher showing a confirmed reservation I was told you had no room for me ? After about an hour I was escorted to your sister hotel Moda Ruiz which was OK but not as nice as Jungmann which I had booked. Next morning I had to pack up my bag and walk back to Jungmann where I left my bag to wait for a room to be ready that afternoon. I spent a pleasant night there but had to pack up next morning and leave . The manager was very pleasant and I had two free drinks but had wasted considerable time from my two day visit!

Excellent hotel right in the city centre. Walking distance from the Old Town and Charles Bridge and plenty other treasures Prague has to offer. It's very quite and comfortable. It's a tiny hotel but well designed. We didn't manage to try the breakfast, but I am sure the breakfast room is as cosy as the rest of the hotel. Strongly recommend to everyone who is after cosy, quiet and easy going city break

Das von außen sehr beengt wirkende Hotel bietet schöne, modern eingerichtete und großzügig geschnittene Zimmer. Selbst die Dusche weist einen Querschnitt auf, wie man ihn in anderen Hotels eher selten vorfindet. Nachdem das Hotel nur 12 Zimmer umfasst ist die Atmosphäre im Hotel (Rezeption, Frühstücksraum) in jeder Hinsicht entspannt und angenehm.

Das Hotel befindet sich in absolut zentraler Lage mit unmittelbarem Zugang zur U-Bahn Station Mustek.

I did not like the small Market at the opposite Site of the building which was running a bass beat I could hear at night. I guess it is simply a Matter of hanging the loud speakers on soft Angles instead screed at wall🤔😄However, I will Return next time in Prag, so firendly Hosts.

Good service, bad ergonomy

Extremely helpful staff and a very nice location. Good breakfast and all in all a quiet and small, cozy hotel.

My only problem was the form over functionality in the room. Water taps were a bit hard to use, rain shower would not work (non sufficient water pressure I guess). The drain in the shower wouldn't take water in fast enough, so you are showering in a pond.

I would have appreciated a more firm pillow (only very big and soft ones in the room). I had a really sore neck the next day.

The toilet seat is also terrible. I don't know who it's been designed for, but for an adult male person the ergonomy is very bad and if you're unlucky, things could potentially get messy.

But otherwise I was happy with the room and everything else. Good for a romantic vacation. If you can get over the terrible design toilet and aren't too picky about pillows, I could recommend this hotel.

Das Frühstück war gut - leider wurde es aber schon vorab vorbereitet und somit konnte nicht auf individuelle Vorlieben, Unverträglichkeiten oder Vegetarier/Veganer eingegangen werden. Dadurch werden leider auch viele Lebensmittel entsorgt, die dann nicht gegessen werden .... Ansonsten perfekt!

Nettes, kleines Boutique-Hotel.

Mit nur insgesamt 12 Zimmer ein nettes, kleines Boutique-Hotel auf 6 Stockwerken mit je 2 Zimmer verteilt. 1A Lage - sehr zentral zum Wenzelsplatz gelegen, direkter U-Bahn Zugang vor dem Haus. Ein wenig Geräuschkulisse (auch Nachts) vor dem Haus - störte mich jetzt nicht, ist aber der sehr zentralen Lage geschuldet. Fazit: wirklich sehr schönes, kleines Hotel, freundliches Personal - einzig der TV im Zimmer hatte nur tschechische Kanäle... Bewertung insgesamt: 1A*, wenn man nicht auf große Massenhotels steht!

Super für Stadtreisende.

Schöne Lage für Stadtreisende. Zentral aber doch ruhig an einem kleineren Platz gelegen. Garage in 5 Min. Entfernung. Lokal gleich nebenan.
Die Hauptsehenswürdigkeiten sind zu Fuß gut zu erreichen. Wir brauchten keine Verkehrsmittel.

Прекрасные новогодние дни в Праге

Отель очень хороший. Интересный дизайн, отличное месторасположение, отзывчивый персонал. В номере есть все необходимое, очень приличный завтрак, уютное кафе внизу, где можно комфортно посидеть и попить кофе.Мы приехали на Новый год и было очень приятно, зайдя в номер, увидеть бутылку шампанского и шоколадные конфеты. Таакое внимание очень приятно. Единственная у нас была проблема - очевидно, старые окна и очень дует из окна. Наверное в теплое время эта проблема не ощущается, но даже при 0 градусов и ветре было чувствительно.

地下鉄駅の真上で、繁華街の中心にあり、ロケーションは抜群で、どこに行くのも便利。部屋も各フロアに離れた位置に2つしかなく、また内装もモダンでとてもきれいでした。朝食もたくさんのバリエーションがあり、とても美味しかったです。あえて言えば繁華街の中心にあり、週末に宿泊したため、外の音が多少うるさかったですが場所を考えれば仕方ないと思います。満足でした。

Hotelli sijaitsee oivallisella paikalla, kaikki kiinnostavat nähtävyydet ovat kävelymatkan päässä. Jos käveleminen ei kiinnosta, esim. metroasema on ihan vieressä. Mukava, pieni ja kodikas hotelli. Huone oli iso ja viihtyisä. Hyvä palvelu ja tarpeeksi monipuolinen aamiainen. Suosittelen hotellin tarjoamaa lentokenttäkuljetuspalvelua.

Shower was not in the bathroom, but instead next to beds. This should have been great for couples, but friends traveling together it was slightly wierd.

Breakfast was nothing special. Basically only bread and salas. Compared to Hilton old town Prague it was very bad.

Neglecting the breakfast and wierd layou room and hitel was really cozy

地下鉄Mustek駅のすぐそばなのですが、最初、間口の狭いこのホテルはなかなか見つけられませんでした。
フロントの対応はよく、１フロア2室の室内は広く、とても清潔でした。
朝食は日々の変化は少ないのですが、十分に満足できました。
窓は二重窓になっていますが、繁華街の大通りに面しているため、外の音が気になりました。プラハの中心部に位置する便利の良いホテルなので、致し方ないところです。
近くにスーパーマーケットのTESCOもあり、お勧めのホテルです。

Kiva, pieni hotelli hyvällä paikalla. Kannattaa kuitenkin katsoa, mitä saa rahasta takaisin. Lähtiessämme respan mies antoi rahasta liian vähän takaisin, kun maksoimme verot. Onneksi huomasimme asian, mutta hieman jäi huijauksen maku. Myös lentokenttäkuljetus toimi hyvin, tosin tullessa he eivät käyttäneet taksifirmaa, vaan joku respamiehen kaveri, tms. haki meidät omalla autolla..
