We had another very comfortable overnight stay in Saarlouis, in the care of the Victors Hotel staff. Good value and an excellent breakfast too. It's 4-5k from the autobahn and a three-minute walk to the railway station.

Warm durch fehlende Klimaanlage

Im Hochsommer ist es von Nachteil dass es keine Klimaanlage im Hotelzimmer gibt, tagsüber wurde es sehr heiß und kaum aushaltbar im Zimmer, nachts mussten wir bei offenem Fenster schlafen.
Es gibt keine Kaffeemaschine oder Wasserkocher , also keine Möglichkeit Tee oder Kaffee zu machen.

Hotel lobby and bar area is really good, lovely and clean with good service, breakfast area is very clean and tidy, breakfast is to a good standard but not much choice in the cooked section.

Rooms are outdated, they need refurbishment from the orange walls, duvet was not correct size for the bed. The duvet was smaller than the bedsize which would be a problem if there was two people in there!

Good stay! Would recommend

Bit of an odd setup. The suites are in the old people's home across the street, not the hotel itself. You have to ring a door bell each time to get in, which gets quite tiring after a week or two.

Other than that: the rooms themselves are very nice. Roomy, large, clean, comfortable. I'd recommend them!

4/5 of the staff was nice (the lady at the counter when we check out didn't even say hello to us) but the positive experience stopped there.

The hotel is much too expensive for what it offers. It's directly on a busy road (noisy from 7 AM to 11 PM).

The room is tiny. It does not have a kettle or a fridge. The shower is either burn yourself setting or freeze setting with barely anything in between.

I would not recommend this and I'm not going to stay there again.

Stayed here with my 5 year old. Room was odd and cramped. Maybe too small for 2 adults. Toilet behind the bathroom door in a corner and was very low, not the best shower water pressure. No lotion, only shampoo/body soap combo. Too much furniture in the room making it feel smaller and cramped. Lamp shade stained. Bed was pretty firm. I was uncomfortable, but kiddo slept well. On the positive side, it was clean and quiet, nice staff, good breakfast, easy access to station, short drive into city center, and secure parking only €8. Despite some of the negatives, I would try a stay here again. It was fair for the price of €98. Have eaten at The Grill on other occasions and it’s delicious.

Excellent hotel

The food was incredible, we had breakfast and dinner and both were fantastic and very reasonable. The service was great, and they allowed early check in which was brilliant. The rooms weren't quite as modern as I thought they would be given how chic the reception and restaurant were, they were very clean though. There was also no kettle which was my only criticism. The hotel was an easy 15 minute walk to the centre.

Excellent quality at a great price - we'll be back

This was an overnight stay while making a driving trip. We were looking for somewhere convenient to the autobahn, quiet and comfortable. The Victor's at Saarlouis exceeded our expectations and was easily the best hotel we have used in Europe in recent years. The room was excellent - spacious, very clean, good wifi, lovely bathroom and great blackout curtains. There was very little noise outside the room, either from adjacent rooms or from outside.
The staff were excellent, being most helpful and courteous. Parking was a reasonable €8 (underground with barrier access) and there was a short passageway leading to a convenient lift.
The room was not expensive and we will stay here again when next passing. We walked into the centre of Saarlouis (took c. 15 mins) and were pleasantly surprised by the range of eating possibilities. Incidentally, the hotel is about a 2-minute walk from the town's railway station. Thank you all at the Victor's!

Fantastic staff, easy location

For a trip to Saarland, I can't imagine a nicer hotel. The staff were friendly, all quite happy to speak in English or auf Deutsch, and obviously very proud of their region and their city. They're full of helpful advice. The hotel is about as close as you can get to the train station in Saarlous, though we didn't hear any trains at all from the hotel room. And the breakfast buffet! Fantastic. Worth the stay just for the breakfast alone. Plus, you're about 100 yds from the Saar River - beautiful views at sunset from the bridge, if the weather cooperates, bike path up and down the Saar - and a 10 min walk into town. Dinner in the restaurant was also great, the lamb and asparagus were perfect, but I have to say, the prices around town are more competitive. All in all, a great stay.

Das Hotel lag für uns sehr günstig, denn wir hatten Fahrräder dabei. Der Service in der Rezeption war sehr gut, sehr freundlich und kompetent mit nützlichen Hinweisen. Das Frühstück war vielfältig und es gab viel frische Esswaren incl Obst.
Die Reinigung des Zimmers erfolgte ebenfalls sehr gut.
Positiv hervorzuheben ist auch die Sauna im 5. Stock sowie die tollen Ruheräumlichkeiten im Innen- und Außenbereich.
Leider hat das Hotel keine Außenbewirtschaftungsmöglichkeit; diese hätten wir bei Vorhandensein gerne genutzt.

Mérite à peine une étoile

Pas de climatisation en pleine période de canicule et difficulté à obtenir des ventilateurs, linge de lit non changé en cours de séjour, poubelles non vidées, parking payant pour le véhicule alors qu'il est véhiculé sur un parking de supermarché dont la barrière est à 80% ouverte et non surveillé.
L'aspirateur n'est jamais passé dans la chambre, donc le sol n'est pas nettoyé en cours de séjour.
Housekeping qui entre dans la chambre dès 8h00 et qui insiste jusqu'à ce qu'on leur laisse faire la chambre.
Possibilité de prendre un café et de l'emmener en chambre le premier jour. Prestation refusée le lendemain par la même personne.
Personnel d'accueil désagréable pour certains, voire agressif pour la personne qui s'occupe des déjeuners.
Chambres de deux personnes et une seule serviette fournie.
Hotel éloigné du centre ville, rien à proximité.
Une personne qui hurle la moitié de la nuit, aucun personnel de nuit n'est intervenu pour le faire taire.
En gros, je ne conseille pas cet hôtel. Et il ne mérite pas du tout ses étoiles.

Beim Frühstück musste Plastikhandschuhe tragen, das ist uns seit über einem Jahr nicht mehr passiert. Offensichtlich gelten die gleichen Regeln wie im angeschlossenen Altersheim. Ansonsten ein Hotel für Rad- und Busreisende. Wir kommen nicht wieder!

Tengo la queja que reserve por Expedía del 26 de agosto al 29 de agosto con desayuno incluido, que era la que me ofrecía la pagina. Ein gutes Hotel

Viel gibt es zu diesem Hotel nicht zu berichten. Für Bahnreisende sicherlich sehr gut gelegen.
Von der Innenstadt ist es gut 10 Minuten entfernt, dafür geniesst man einen schönen Spaziergang über die Saar.
Der Empfang im Hotel war herzlich, das Frühstück gut.

Als Rollifahrerin war es schwierig aus der Tiefgarage die Rezeption zu erreichen. Es müsste erst eine Mitarbeiterin des Hotels in die Garage kommen und die Türen öffnen. Das barrierefreie Zimmer lag in der Depandance auf der gegenüber liegenden Straßenseite, das Personal war jedoch sehr hilfsbereit. Entgegen der Zusage waren Hunde im Nebengebäude nicht erlaubt, sondern nur im Hauptgebäude. Wenn ich meinen Hund nicht anderweitig hätte unterbringen können, hätte ich wohl wieder abreisen müssen.
Das Bett war nur 160 cm breit, also m. e. Viel zu schmal für 2 Erwachsene, die nicht unbedingt kuscheln wollen. Als Rollifahrerin kann ich nur auf dem Rücken schlafen und benötige entsprechende Armfreiheit. Meine Begleitung hat dann auf der Couch schlafen müssen.
Die Einrichtung des Appartements sah auf den ersten Blick exquisit aus. Bei näherem Hinsehen bestand das meiste aus billigem Fake. So ließen sich an den meisten Schränken keine Schubladen oder Türen öffnen. Ein Pflegebett könnte nicht zur Verfügung gestellt werden, obwohl das Gebäude auch als Seniorenresidenz dient. Mir absolut unverständlich.
Das Frühstück war in Ordnung, nicht mehr und nicht weniger.
Insgesamt würde ich dem Hotel maximal 3 Sterne geben, als barrierefrei aufgrund der Bettensotuation gar keinen.

Leider hielt mein Zimmer bei weitem nicht mit dem ersten Eindruck der Lobby stand:

Das Zimmer war sehr warm, ohne Klimaanlage.
So musste ich bei offenem Fenster schlafen, was an der Strasse sehr laut war.
