Lovely room & stay. Staff very helpful.
The only thing would be the glass bathroom door wasn’t clean and there was green around the gold bathroom fittings, such as taps. A thorough clean would have made it perfect.

Stayed 3 days. Housekeeping came once-by our request. They left dirty coffee cups and provided 2 towels. No washcloth. No hand towel.
Ordered breakfast in room. It never showed up. Staff really didn’t seem to care on either situation.

Nice place and goodcservice but it's getting a bit shabby for the price s being charged. Bthroom and washrooms need an overhaul. Tiles stained and chipped, grout and sealant failing. Plumbing starting to clog up up.

Check in staff and the cleaning staff members were very lovely and friendly, a very helpful cleaning staff helped us find our room, she was very lovely and friendly, on the other hand towards the night the security staff on the front door towards the evening were not, the looks and attitude we got from them were not welcoming and felt like we shouldn't be there especially since we had a room booked and weren't even drinking etc , twice we headed outside for a smoke before heading back to our room and the looks and body language we got them as if how can you afford to stay here attitude. The room was mostly clean, big towel in bathroom was stained, shower had dirt around the drain area, the bathroom door wouldn't shut at all, think the glass is warped and wouldn't close all the way, my biggest safety concern was the hotel window, you would open it all the way and anyone could fall out from it especially from our floor since we were on the 7th, I'm glad I didn't have my special needs son with me as I wouldn't have stayed in the room knowing that safety concern. Quality of toilet roll could of been better as material was very rough and of cheap quality. The air vent in the bathroom didn't work when using the shower and could see that it was clogged with dust and dirt.

Nice stay. Rooms overall nice and specious. The sink was full of hair so didn’t drain that quickly. We were on the 9th floor and there was a party on on the Saturday, so was hard to get to sleep due to the powerful bass. Was only till midnight though thankfully. Staff great and friendly.

Was lucky to get a free upgraded room, was brilliant. Unfortunately the fire alarm went off in the evening and there was a bit of panic and there wasnt much communication from the staff as to what was going on or if we all need to evacuate. Apparently it was someone using a vape in their room. Apart from that it was 10/10

Staff very inhospitable - tried to check in before room was ready, and were told to come back in 2 hours. I had to ask if we could stow our bags, ask if there was a restaurant where we could wait, etc. No welcome at all. Room ill equipped - tissue box was empty upon check in. Toilet ran.

Overnight stay at the Europa.

Extremely helpful and welcoming staff, from check-in to restaurant and bar staff, everyone was warm and friendly. Lovely rooms, clean and comfortable and amazing food, and with a good gluten free selection.
And with a city centre location, theatres and other evening venues are in walking distance.

Wonderful stay at the Europa. I’ve stayed at the Europa before renovations. It’s much nicer now since updates to the rooms. Air conditioning is a big plus as my room was quite warm on my pre-renovation stay. Front desk and concierge service was excellent. Service at the bar could be better in my opinion. I had to go to the bar to order a drink. No one working the bar came to my table to ask if I wanted a drink which I found strange. Europa location is as good as it gets. I highly recommend the Europa for a stay in Belfast.

Didn’t follow health instructions

“For health reasons, no one should enter the room. No maid service is requested.” That is the discussion I had with the front desk. I was assured a note was left for staff. I was also instructed to leave the do not disturb sign on the door.

In spite of both of those precautions, the room was entered.

We loved our stay and were sad to leave! The staff are friendly and welcoming, the prices reasonable and the room was lovely. The location is great and we were able to see everything we wanted in Belfast within easy walkable distance. I’m hoping we will be back! Would have preferred black out curtains in the bedroom (just because I am a light sleeper and the lovely electric blind was just a tad too short!) and would have loved the option of smoked salmon on the breakfast buffet… we hope to visit again in the future

Stay at the most bombed hotel in western europe

It was a treat to stay at the most bombed hotel in western Europe. But seriously, although a little dated, the hotel is well maintained in a great location in Belfast. Not far from the Titanic Experience. Friendly and helpful staff. Room was decent in size, but comfortable with a nice bathroom. Little tricky to avail of the free overnight parking, otherwise there is a moderate-priced parking facility nearby.

Europa hotel was recommended to us by family who had stayed there and we were very happy to find it so conveniently located within a few minutes walk from the central train station.
It was also within an easy walk to the City Hall Centre where most of the local buses and transit circulated.
The room and bathroom was spacious and clean, and there was a nice selection of lounges, cafés, and restaurants on the premises, as well as in the neighbourhood. The piano bar on the second floor was a particularly nice spot for a late night tea or drink. The front desk staff and concierge were all extremely helpful and pleasant, and it was affirming to see the sustainability strategies that the hotel has employed.

Spacious and clean, but not without problems

The woman who checked us in was great! She explained everything to us and was very friendly. We had booked 2 rooms, which were nicely arranged next to each other. I was impressed with the size of the room, as most rooms I’ve stayed in in Europe have been very small. The room was clean and suited our basic needs. However, when we woke up the next morning and went to shower, the shower did not work. We called the front desk asking for maintenance to come take a look and were told someone would be right up. After over an hour, no one had come. We called again and finally someone came up to see what was wrong. They were not able to fix it and we had to move to another room. This set back our day, ultimately impacting our sightseeing plans. On a positive note, they did allow us to change rooms at our own convenience so we could move on with our day and keep the keys to both rooms. Our other issue was with the piano bar. After arriving back later in the evening we stopped in to have a drink, and while several cocktail servers walked by us a few times, we were not acknowledged until we had to ask someone to help us. We were told we had to wait (almost 30-45 minutes) while the bar was closed to count the till. When the bar reopened, we could then have drinks again. This made zero sense to me! There were several customers still in the bar area, so why would you not wait to count money until closing time?
It’s a nice clean hotel, just too bad we had these little issues affect our stay

Overall I had an enjoyable stay. Happily I was solo but I would not appreciate the see-through bathroom door if travelling with company. It did look stylish though and room had a nice ambiance. Room was generally very clean: small point that the bathroom extractor fan looked dusty which I only noticed when using mouthwash as it was directly overhead. Minor deduction for taxi booked at check-in for next morning not turning up, but they got me a replacement in jig time. On reflection, I think it would be good if guest gets a text confirmation that taxi has in fact been booked or if receptionist books it on the spot in front of guest.

Excellent hotel, great service from all we dealt with and perfect location. Quiet clean newly refurbed room. Word of advice for any travellers is to be aware of the bathroom in the standard double room....i should have read the description when booking.....the bathroom is a glass box so very little privacy. Not a room type for first weekends away (thankfully this wasn't one of those!) so for stays of more than one night, I'd strongly advice going up a level or 2 to get a \"normal\" bathroom and more storage. All on me, the hotel is excellent as are the staff but i should have read the description better. Would still go back no problem into a bigger room!

A touch of class

Despite a rather indifferent start( our room wasn't ready at 3:15 for check-in ) this turned out to be a memorable stay.
Our room on the 8th floor was tastefully furnished with excellent decor. Two comfortable lounge chairs and a fine size TV. The bed was huge and so comfortable. Bathroom again beautifully fitted with high quality toiletries supplied. A small crib might be the tea/ coffee tray which only had two small biscuits. Only one carton of water was supplied for a double occupancy room!
The lift experience was novel and efficient.
The Piano Bar was a real highlight and we indulged in excellent snacks there during our stay. It was such a restful and relaxing place to pass some time,enhanced by some beautiful piano playing on Sat night. It would unfair to single out any single staff member as all staff we encountered were polite, friendly and helpful.
A slight issue was the thumping music we could hear late into Sat night.
