I highly recommend the Kathmandu Suites Hotel. It was not only comfortable but also made me feel like a VIP. The hotel management team was warm, attentive, and helpful, fulfilling all my requests. Their driver picked me up from the airport, which is especially helpful for first-time visitors. The hotel's complimentary breakfast was also quite good; I even saw a person paying for breakfast, even though he wasn’t a guest there. The rooms were well-equipped and larger than those I've stayed in Japan and Korea. The location was also excellent, a five-minute walk to a vibrant and unique shopping district and a twenty-minute walk to the famous Kathmandu Durbar Square.

This is my favourite Hotel in Kathmandu. Their hospitality and staffs are excellent. House keeping does an excellent job they deserve a raise for their professional work. Room service and house keeping help you like they are your family. Very much happy with their services and will definitely stay in this hotel in future as well.

First timE in Nepal I found this hotel reasonably priced, comfortable with all the facilities I require and the staff welcoming and helpful
I’d had the hotel recommended by the Nepal Hiking team and I’ve not been disappointed.

Really good hotel in a quiet street (although it's still a bit loud at night because of the stray dogs), decent breakfast. The area nearby has plenty of good restaurants and shops. Very friendly staff as well.

The restaurant on site is good. Check-in and check-out was very easy. While the location is in Thamel, it is not very convenient to restaurants. They are about a 10 - 15 minute walk away.

Everthing is good here. But kinda dusty outside the hotel when you go out. Due to constuction next door and along the roads. Small roads will get conjested during peak period timing. Improvement on roads outside would be good in the future. All in all, i had a plesant & enjoyable time here.

Nice stay. Comfy room with balcony overlooking the mountain. Great and super friendly staff who allowed early check in after we arrived by night bus. Food in the restaurant was awesome. Everyone in the hotel were so pleasant to make you feel welcomed. Location is just a stone throw away from the busy street in Thamel area. It's hard for taxi driver to find the place so we have to prepare own GPS each time for the driver to send us back. I won't hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone, and would definitely stay there again if I ever pay a second visit.

Good wifi, hot water, well worth the money.

Nice couzy hotel with friendly staff. Wide comfy bed, balcony with two chairs, good selection of tv channels, good wifi (10-20 megabits down/up), warm water. 2 minute walk from Thamel shops. Highly recommended.

This hotel is on a quiet I paved street, which has mostly motorbike traffic The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was filling and delicious. There is rooftop deck that was a nice place to unwind after a day of sight seeing. I can’t say enough about the friendly and attentive staff. We were greeted upon arriving and departing without fail. They also offered advice on things to do. The location is excellent, it’s near Thamel but not in the thick of it. We walked to Durbar Square and the “Monkey Temple” (30 minute walk). I would definitely stay here again!

Amazing hotel - particularly for Thamel. Everything was modern clean and functioned well. Staff were excellent. Location was great - just a short walk to Thamel with great little restaurants nearby too.

Great stay. Friendly staff . Modern hotel in excellent location near Tamel but away from the noise. Good breakfast but also reasonably priced evening meals that were delicious. High floors with balconies have views over the city. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Beautiful hotel ! The room comes with a balcony which I loved . The room was clean and neat with AC and hot -cold water . The bathroom are clean and modern. The staff is excellent ..Always ready to help. I had breakfast there which was $5 . And was very satisfied with their american breakfast. The highlight od the room was roof terrace which overlooks the entire valley and mountains far beyond .
I stayed alone and was comfortable and well taken care of .

new hotel, quiet while close to shopping/dinning

nice new hotel, quite upscale, spacious room with king bed, and friendly staff. Buffet breakfast was included, and the dishes were fresh and tasty. Short walk from busy shopping/dinning places but very quiet. Would definitely stay there again when visit Nepal next time (hopefully soon).

Very nice and quiet hotel

After a hectic trip in India getting to Kathmandu Suite Hotel was the best thing that happened to us. Staff was very friendly and the owner of the hotel made sure everything was going as planned with our stay. Great hotel to stay at. It’s quite new and the rooms are very clean and modern. I would definitely stay here again.

Lovely hostel that is only 2 Months old.

The hotel is positioned just on the outside of the Thamel tourist area. This is a real benefit as the traffic noise that can be experienced is reduced considerably. Lovely staff who were making a real effort. The food was average. Bedrooms had double glassine which worked well.

disappointed stay

The staff are friendly and helpful.
however, there was a really big cockroach in my room and i killed it myself, wait quite a time for the staff from hotel to pick up the body.
i paid expensive price and just stay for few hours, and still i experience this, i sent messgage to them to tell my disappointment but they never reply, which was really upset..
i do have a photo of the big cockroach but i do not want to show it here to scare people.

Lo mejor:
-La ubicación en Thamel aunque en una esquina, en una bocacalle de Packnajol.
-El hotel es bastante nuevo y moderno.
-Personal amable.
-Tienen servicio de transfer al aeropuerto (10 dolares por trayecto, más caro que el taxi pero más comodo).
-Habitaciones grandes, con vistas al monkey temple y tienen ascensor.
Lo peor:
-El encargado del hotel intenta colocarte sus excursiones.
Comentarios:
-El desayuno es algo justo, pero es Asia.
-La calle donde está el hotel es de tierra. Pero en Kathmandu eso pasa a menudo.
-Wifi gratis

Nice stay in Kathmandu

We had a nice room with balcony over the backyard. Clean and nice room with very comfortable beds. Nice breakfast buffé where you can sit inside or outside. Nice view from the roof terrace and very helpful staff. I would stay again. Just five minutes walk from busy Thamel.

Great Value for Money

For the price of a capsule hotel in Tokyo (USD 45), Kathmandu Suite Home provided a spacious corner suite room on the top floor including free buffet breakfast so it is very good value for money. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful, especialy Mr. Santosh at the tourist desk - who helped me planned and booked my day trips around the Kathmandu valley. Mr. Ramesh Nepal, my tour guide, was so knowledgeable and accommodating - I ended up using him for four (from the original two) day trips visiting all of the UNESCO sites in the valley and did a little hiking from Naragot (after watching the sunrise) with the money I saved from staying at the Kathmandu Suite. The hotel is off on a dusty road about 10 minutes walking from the Thamel tourist area but it isn’t much of a problem as I didn’t feel unsafe walking around at night in Kathmandu.

Hotel nuevo, cuidado con el personal.

Hotel nuevo y muy europeo, cerca del Thamel y silencioso. La estancia hubiera sido perfecta si el personal no nos hubiera peleado por el desayuno que estaba incluido e insistían en que no, en varias ocasiones y no sólo a nosotros. Por otra parte nos intentaron venden un coche privado extremadamente más caro que un taxi, asegurándonos que como eran fiestas era imposible coger un taxi o un autobús. Esto no era cierto y no tuvimos problemas en coger un taxi por 2300RP ida y vuelta cuando ellos nos vendían solo ida por 25€.

El mejor hotel de Thamel

Hotel completamente nuevo en Thamel y sin ningún ruido. Dormimos estupendamente con unas vistas fabulosas de la ciudad y Swayambhu. Todos los acabados son impresionantes en comparación con hoteles similares. Es un edificio con balcones en todas las habitaciones, díficil de encontrar aquí, y con mucha luz natural. Internet gratis con Wi-Fi ultra-rápida, camas muy cómodas, agua caliente, aire acondicionado y con una cocina que nos sigue sorprendiendo muy gratamente: sin lugar a dudas el mejor desayuno que he probado en Nepal, siendo éste ya el quinto año que regreso. El personal muy atento y siempre dispuesto a ayudar. En relación calidad-precio no tiene rival. Tuvimos que postponer nuestro trekking por una urgencia de trabajo y la verdad es que el trato esquisito dándome todas las facilidades.
