Fabulous! Right on the Spanish Steps - or so it seemed! People watching at its finest from a cafe table on the flower filled terrace. Two Aperol Spritzes and an assortment of snacks greeted us each evening as we sat on the balcony outside of our beautiful room reminiscing about the Roman sites we had visited that day. The Trevi fountain is within walking distance and the staff is very happy to secure a car should you wish.
The staff was most accommodating. Breakfast can be purchased for 15 Euros and takes place in a charming cafe just across the street. Warning: The Americano breakfast is HUGE!
The hotel is in a multi-storied building, with the main entrance at the bottom of the steps. No fear for there is a tiny private elevator to whisk you to the lobby at the top of the steps, with its own entrance for guests who wish to explore the upper area surrounding the steps. A bellman comes down with the elevator when you first arrive to take your luggage.
Our room was bella, with a comfortable King bed, nice bath, AC. For those interested, the Keats/Shelley/Byron museum is located in the house next door. Wonderful stay!
