villa del mar is well located, the space was good, however the apartment we were in could use a little bit of renovation and modernizing. The breakfast was not great but its included in the rental so no complaints. The only complaint is that the area where the breakfast was serves was extremely noisy with garden work going on outside we couldn't hear ourselves think and had to leave.

We loved our patio with easy access to the pool. The only downside was the chemical/sulfur smell every night around 9-9:30 pm. We think it was the water for the sprinkler system. Please water later in the evening so guests can utilize their patios without the offensive smell.

I just got back with my high school kid, younger kid and a friend on April 13 and the place was even better than expected when I arrived. The pool area is beautiful very private and not overcrowded you don’t have to fight for loungers. The walk to the beach was so easy. It took about two minutes to walk to the beach. the front desk staff was very helpful. They organized and set up a few excursions for us. The location was absolutely perfect. We walked off. The resort went to some restaurants ate ice cream even walked to an another hotel The location was absolutely perfect. We walked off the resort. We were pleasantly surprised with the accommodations here! The room was huge and very clean. The staff was great overall but Ruth at the front desk was AMAZING. She was very sweet and helpful; always took the time to chat with us and answer all of our questions with a smile. There were outdoor grills that we made a lot of our food on also. Excellent location especially if not renting a car! It is a small property but the spacious studio room had everything we needed for a week long stay! Very short walk to the beach. Dedicated beach area is in prime location with more than enough room, chairs, umbrellas, even floats and boards to use in the ocean! If we were to return to TCI we would definitely choose Villa Del Mar again!

Pool is quiet and you don’t have to wake up at 5am to save a seat. The breakfast is amazing to get your day started but if you are in need of “barista coffee” - you are a quick walk to The Ritz Ritual Coffee.
Beach is a quick walk away and the setup service by the hotel is perfect. Lots of floaties and buckets for the kids and the beach area has multiple restaurants close by. Salerno Restaurant is inexpensive and consistently good.
The kitchen /kitchenette is great and the grocery store is a close walk away. So you can save some money to get quick eats.
The staff is awesome and courteous- while being available 24 hours it seems.
Best place to stay if you don’t need too many amenities and you are here for the beach / pool and some great eats.

My husband and I did a quick getaway and stayed at the Villa Del Mar. We had a wonderful stay, rooms were spacious yet cozy and clean. It felt like a mini apartment on the beach. It was a quick 3 min walk to the beach (which was located across the street thru another hotel). Karon the beach attendant for Villa Del Mar was outstanding he set up our beach chairs every morning and gave us a prime spot. Beaches were the most beautiful we have ever seen and we travel a lot. Hotel staff were amazing gave us advice and assistance when needed. We ate breakfast and lunch across the street at the Grill (ask for Junie) she was the most outstanding waitress and the food was amazing. Bonus if you like hot sauce Junie has her own island hot sauce which is to die for. Freddy the bartender was also spectacular for our daily drinks at the beach. We had a wonderful time and would def stay at the villa Del Mar again. Thank you to their entire staff for making our stay an unforgettable one!!
