While we only stayed one evening, the hotel was extremely clean and well maintained. The rooms were large with kind beds, a small dining table and fridge and if you have a car, a dedicated carport directly in the rear of your room with a dedicated rear door to your room. I’ve never seen that before but a great place and reasonable prices and awesome water pressure in the shower!

Comfortable accommodation, and very safe in the area around Linate Airport. Excellent parking allocated to each room - reasonable breakfast and Bar Service for tea and coffee. Garage next door to the property makes filling up the Rental car very easy, and Linate Rental Car return is 2km from the motel

Lovely place! Check in was a breeze and the woman at the desk was SO very nice and helpful. We had a very early flight and the shuttle service was perfectly timed for us. The driver even picked us up about 10 minutes early! Poor guy, having to get up at 4 AM to drive us all of a mile! He was a very nice and very professional young man.
Aperitivo was nice in the dining area. Our only complaint would be how unbearably hot the room was. We turned the thermostat down, but still had to have the window open all night. That wouldn't have been too bad except for the smoke entering our room from outside when someone lit a cigarette.

Staff were very good and extremely helpful with requests. There is a 24 hour reception and a small bar/restaurant in the hotel. Rooms are large and very clean. Quiet with the exception of flight noise.
This appears to be the closest hotel to the airport. Bus number 973 from arrivals will take you to the hotel which is just 2 stops away (0.9 miles). Just 3 minutes walk from the bus stop to the hotel reception. Similarly, 973 bus from the same stop will take you to the airport departures. Number 973 bus will also take you to the historic city centre. Seems to run every 30 minutes over the weekend.
Pro tip - Do not use Uber for travel as they are at least 2 to 3 times more expensive than the taxis. If using Uber app, book a taxi through the Uber app at 1/2 to 1/3 the price (taxis just charge what's on the meter).

We just loved this cute little hotel off the beaten path! It is an older hotel but has been very well kept and is very charming. The staff are amazing!!! They are super friendly and super helpful. We ate dinner in the restaurant, and the server took extra time to ensure that we were getting exactly what we wanted. Being in this hotel is like stepping back in time and it is a perfect location to the airport. The shuttle service to the airport was a huge perk. We wanted to go into the city center in Milano. We had the shuttle drop us off at the airport ($7 per trip, so much cheaper than a cap) and then we took the metro from the airport straight to the city center. The hotel is one level (there are a few steps from the reception to the rooms), the rooms are nice size, there were plenty of towels. We would definitely stay here again.

I would not recommend this hotel unless you are a smoker! The room smells of smoke there are ashtrays all around the room and the A/C carries (2nd hand) smoke from other rooms. The internet doesn't work in the room and you are limited to the lobby area if you need internet.

Good motel, close to airport - ac could be better

This place reminded me of a 70s motel. The decor and ambiance definitely give you that feel. I chose to stay here as it's walking distance to the Linate airport (about 25 minutes). They have a shuttle but it's not free so I opted just to walk. The room was clean and I'm pretty happy with my stay. Only issue I faced is that the air conditioning was really weak and I couldn't get my room cool. Outside of that, happy with everything else.

Stayed here because we had a very early flight from Linate. The hotel isn’t close to much public transportation and the area is not meant for tourists so getting there requires a car. Decor is older and a little shabby but overall the hotel was clean and safe. The AC wasn’t very powerful so it was a little musty.

Great option for visiting Milan

Really big room and bathroom with lots of extra bits (shoe horn, comb, soap, shampoo, shoe buffers etc, all individually wrapped).

The air conditioning was amazing. Blasted cool air out, which was handy as it was 35degC outside.

Breakfast was a good combination of meat, cheese, cakes, yoghurts and fruit juices.

Only downside really was that the walls were quite thin, so I could hear the people/kids in the room next door shouting and screming until 2am my first night there.

There is a handy bus route round the corner to the airport, then you can get the metro into Milan easy enough. If you buy the 3 day ticket for about 15 euros it works out very good value and covers buses and the metro. Certainly much cheaper than staying in the centre of Milan.

Luna has a LOT of potential. The staff is pretty nice. What is missing is people who speak English. I would have thought that a hotel (literally) next to an international airport would have more people who spoke English.

The English menu shows a couple of different kinds of omelettes available for breakfast. Breakfast is 13 Euro. For that all that is available is 4 different kinds of croissants, cereals, cold pancakes (no syrup) and some hard boiled eggs. Oh, and yogurt.

They really need a real restaurant. All they have is frozen foods heated in microwaves or in an oven (fish).

Italy has some sort of law that says they aren’t supposed to lower the AC temperature below 23 C (73 degrees F). That is too warm for me. In the last 30 days when the AC was too warm the hotel would lower it on request. Not here.

The website says airport shuttle available. True.
For 20 Euro.

Nice Hotel but when I landed, I called for my pick up and was told nobody was there to do it. I confirmed many times. Its far from the airport, about 45 min. Uber was $150 euros. No apology or ammends. It wasn’t that close to museums either.

Dishonest Customer Service - AVOID

Terrible customer service. Due to a glitch in the reservation system on Hotels.com, the room was book for the night before I was set to arrive. I contacted the hotel immediately and informed them of this situation. Additionally I spoke in person with the manager on duty and he ENSURED me that I would not be charged for a night which I did not use. Not to be... I was fully charged by the hotel. Highly disappointed in the customer service and that I was lied to during my visit.

-The breakfast was sufficient.
-The room was very clean and tidy with a comfortable bed.
-Very nice surroundings.
-Staff were accommodating to our needs.

Negatives:
-Kept hold of our passports overnight for \"registration\" (I am still not satisfied with that explanation and hope nothing sinister happened).
-No USB port for charging devices. Most hotels seem to have a usb compatible electrical socket, so an update should be considered.
-a couple of movie/drama channels in English would have been nice

hotel is very adequate, a bit dated but overall great. breakfast was good with lots of choices. check was easy and Paul went out of his way to pick us up at the airport after the shuttle had stopped. Great service and he is to be commended. Room was large and bathroom new. only problem was that the room was warm even with the a.c. on. however other than that, hotel was great.

The staff of this hotel was EXCELLENT. Very attentive and helpful. They picked us up at the Milan/Linate airport very fast and were great about answering all our travel questions. My problem was that the room they put us in was a smoking room that stunk. I should have switched rooms when they offered, but by then we were unpacked and shoes off. For myself, smoking rooms always make me feel dirty and I wake up with irritated sinuses and a headache. Breakfast was unremarkable. Location near to Linate is great and the free pick up is fast and very nice.

Ho soggiornato con mio figlio presso questo hotel per una notte in occasione di un concerto. La scelta è stata perfetta in quanto la struttura si trova a soli 5 minuti a piedi dal parco della musica. L’albergo non è nuovissimo, ma molto ben tenuto. Inoltre siamo rimasti molto soddisfatti della camera e dei servizi. Camera e bagno grandi, corredati di tutto quello che ci si aspetta da un buon 4 stelle: ciabatte, calzascarpe, molti prodotti per l’igiene, minibar. Il servizio in camera ci ha permesso di cenare tranquillamente e al fresco dell’aria condizionata prima di andare al concerto: buona scelta tra antipasti, insalate, primi e secondi. Arrivare dalla stazione centrale con i mezzi pubblici è stato facile, anche se non veloce, ci abbiamo messo un’oretta, ma appunto per noi la priorità era la vicinanza al luogo del concerto e non al centro di Milano.
Consiglio sicuramente hotel motel Luna a chi avesse necessità di un alloggio in questa zona (tra l’altro a un paio di fermate di autobus da Linate).
