The only negative thing is that they only had a person working on-site less than half the time. However, they have key lock boxes for each room, give you the combination, and keep the key inside. They also include a phone number you can call if there ARE issues.

With that being said...

The room was incredible. Small (I don't need big), with a bet suitable for a couple. The bathroom was also small, but fully functional, with good hot water in the shower. A minor nit-pick... I do not understand the European custom of a shower with no door, so know you will be getting that. However, you get that at a GREAT DEAL of places in Europe, so that's more of a \"so you are informed\" than a \"this is bad.\" Heat worked perfectly (and with it actively snowing, that was solid), and there was a shoe rack with a mat under it so your shoes could drip dry and not mess up the floor.

If I ever come back to this city, I WILL be staying here again.

Perfect for a one night stopover

We stayed one night after a full day at the Museum. It was very close to the museum and convenient to a grocery store for breakfast food which we stored in the well equipped common kitchen. Attached to the accommodation (same owners) is a western/asian take out food service which was convenient and tasty.

This is a very basic room. Check-in is completely self-serve. There is no staff on site. If you’re ok with a dormitory-type arrangement, then this will work. The room was clean.

The apartment was good, it was clean, quiet and easy to find. The only fault was poor lighting in the room (unable to read a book) and a slightly small shower, everything else was great.
The kitchen was clean with tea & coffee available, those small things really make a difference.

A very clean and tidy room, perfect for what I needed after a day of travelling and exploring before visiting Auschwitz. I was met at the door by the owner who was very helpful and recommended a really good restaurant’Las Rossa’ a 10 minute walk away and well worth the visit.
The only thing the room could do with is air conditioning/fan as it was very warm, I had the windows open all night and luckily it was very quiet in the area.
I would recommend staying here to any one visiting Ośweiçim.

The room was clean and comfortable. The owner was friendly and accommodating. We were in town to tour Auschwitz which was a 10-15 minute walk from the guesthouse. There is a park across the street and a döner shop near by. Other than that there are just apartments in the area.

Best Bang for your Buck

We went overnight to Oswieçim so we could visit Auschwitz and found this gem.

The booking and check-in process was very user friendly and they offered on-site parking as well. The room was modern, clean, and quiet and for the price you can't beat it.

It's within walking distance of Auschwitz 1 but having your own parking spot made it easy to drive if you are dropping people off or taking turns while someone else keeps the kids occupied at the clean park across the street.

I definitely recommend it if you are in Oswieçim.

We had a room to sleep 4 adults. It was very spacious. Probably the largest I have stayed in when in Poland and this was my 4th trip. Very clean and modern. I liked that there was a separate kitchen with tables for all the guests to use. Everything was in the kitchen that you would need tea, coffee, pots, pans, oven, fridge, freezer. You just needed the food to cook. Fab place.. would definitely stay there again.

Oswiecim, aka, Auschwitz.

The place is awesome. It was very close to Auschwitz. Also very close to the bus station, Museum Auschwitz. Several grocery stores close by as well as a early morning bakery with great bread. The pizza/burger/kebab place across the street had awesome burgers. Went twice when I stayed there for three nights.

Very nice compact accommodation located equidistant from Oswecim rail station and Auschwitz I. Some short stairs to be climbed to reach the apartment. Just about 10 minutes walk either ways. Very homely environment.

As far as I am concerned good (or bad) staff can be the most important thing in a hotel. Here, the reception staff went the extra mile to be friendly and The room was enormous and very clean, the price was excellent. The location is I walking distance if you are going to the museum site.

We stayed here for an overnight and while the room is nice, there is no AC in the rooms although there is central air in the hallways. My guess is it isn’t sectioned out so each room in the hostel can control their own so they just cut the rooms out. All they give you is a fan but in the beginning of summer months and the summer this is not at all comfortable.

Virkelig godt til prisen! Stort værelse og adgang til et lille køkken. Som værten sagde, skulle vi bruge det som vores eget hjem.
Under 1 km til Auswitch, så vi lod bilen stå og gik dertil. Gratis parkering lige udenfor huset.

Motorräder standen sicher hinter dem Haus im Hof (Kamera überwacht). Sehr gut ausgestattete Gemeinschaftsküche. Dusche war recht klein. Jederzeit empfehlenswert.
