the room was basic but very comfortable and quiet. the singular advice is to bring a charger as no 5v usb outlets. included buffet breakfast had hot and cold and interesting items… very satisfying. the bus system with help of google maps was relatively easy to use—- credit cards to buy bus ticket onboard…. we had the good fortune of a couple young men who assisted but a bit of patience and you would likely figure out. a one hour leisurely walk from hotel to each of the train station and museum.

Room was dark and dingy, no water in room, 1 tea bag and no milk.
Went to reception and advised of the above , also unable to get English TV on, upgraded our room when booking and requested a balcony, to be told we did not have a balcony.
The person on reception was very unhelpful, gave me 1 tea bag a small glass of milk, did not get offered any water, never offered any assistance to sort the TV or help with connecting to the internet. Stated we were unable to change rooms has the hotel was full, unhelpful is an understatement.
Also beds really unfortable.

My only issue was the plugs. In my room, there were 3 plugs but they were all beside each other under a table attached to the wall and could not be moved, which made it almost impossible to plug anything in. Other than that, the hotel was great.

We booked the studio deluxe room and it was spacious and clean. You have to ask at the front desk desk to have your room served if you want clean towels or more coffee and tea supplied.. The staff is friendly and helpful. The complimentary breakfast is very impressive - an assortment of hot & cold choices. The restaurant has delicious food and a full menu. We had a free two hour visit to the spa to use the hot and saunas daily. It was a great way to unwind from a busy day. We didn’t partake in any massages, so no comment on that. It is a great hotel and we would definitely stay there again if our path takes us back to Oswiecim.

The hotel and staff were wonderful! Our room was clean and supplied with soft towels and coffee. We loved the sauna hot tub area which you could use once a day no extra charge. We didn’t experience the massages at the spa, hopefully next visit. The breakfast was included and was delightful with a variety of dishes to choose from. The restaurant has very good food and friendly staff. We will definitely stay here again on our next visit to Oswiecim.

Hotel itself is very nice. Couple issues that made it not enjoyable. Some of the worst pillows imaginable and made for terrible night sleep. Spa was also very nice but all massages or treatments were booked solid for two days even though tried to book prior to stay. It’s a shame because had all the makings to be a great stay but the pillows and lack of sleep ruined it.

Amazing hotel and fantasic desk staff. The front desk staff couldnt be more helpful with ordering taxis, offering advice on food options etc.. room service from the restaurant was superb.
Some of the room furnishings may be in need if an update but the current ambience and style should be maintained. Some minor maintenance issues were noted to the staff who immediately took steps to action.

Stayed for 10 days...the breakfast spread and breakfast drinks were on point. Never a shortage of food in the morning. The grounds, inside of the hotel and spa were very clean. The restaurant was amazingly delicious with Polish cuisine.

Hotel room was quiet at night which was nice. The room however, had its challenges. The shower door didn't close all the way leaving the bathroom floor soaked every time we showered. No ventilation in the bathrooms and the 2nd room did not have air conditioning so we had to leave the door open. The carpet in the room looked really dirty. The room was very bright in the morning the blinds are not dark enough.

Housekeeping is very good. They restocked everything upon request. Very friendly staff.

The hotel was well appointed with a full service spa on site. Guest access to the hot tub and sauna was great. They have the greatest sauna and steam rooms I’ve ever seen. The herbal steam room was truly a treat.

The hotel building is beautiful. It's clearly very old and has been carefully restored and renovated. The staff are polite. The facilities are clean.

Food is subjective, but I found the breakfast wasn't very good. I appreciate that it is not possible to cater for everyone's tastes, but there was very little for anyone who didn't want to eat 10 different plates of salad. The bread was hard and plain. There weren't any bread rolls or pastries.

I was disappointed with the lack of tea and coffee facilities in the room. It's not acceptable for this type of hotel not to provide a kettle, tea and coffee. I have seen that other people have raised this issue with the hotel several times, yet nothing has been done. I spoke to reception staff on 2 occasions, and they couldn't explain why they didn't have kettles in the rooms. I was told I could use the bar, and charge the drinks to my room! It's just a basic facility I would expect from any hotel.

I think the hotel is more suited to people from Poland than abroad. It doesn't really cater for a variety of tastes and needs.

Very beautiful hotel and pristine. The bathroom in my room had a constant smell of raw sewage. There was 2 receptionists that I met. One with shorter hair was very kind and polite. Another one with longer hair, I had an issue with. I just asked if the massages were included in the hotel fee, or extra. She looked at me as if I was a fool. She spoke english. I repeated myself and she finally \"understood\" I am an American citizen born and raised, with hispanic descent. The racism at this hotel and the area is very bad. Please be weary. Even the breakfast time, I did not feel safe in this banquet hall. I have never had this issue elsewhere.

This hotel really works to please. It really feels like a resort. It is built so that there is a courtyard so it feels private. There is a great breakfast and a nice restaurant, but the spa and massages are the star attraction. Book a massage ahead of time. You will not be sorry and the price is great!

Really good for kids.

We had a family room which was massive and had a separate room with doors for us which really helped with everyone getting a good sleep. Shame we had not stayed longer as would have made use of the excellent facilities more.

It's a small thing but really helps with younger kids, there was two sizes of pillow on every bed so the smaller ones worked for the kids perfectly.

Really enjoyed our stay here.
Spa is small but perfect for a bit of relaxing.

Very good hotel excellent recption friendly and welcoming. Room are clean and comfy with all amenities. Restaurants was absolutely brilliant even Gordon Ramsay would proud to eat in. Try the homemade burgers! The spa was great, use of jacuzzi and suna to all residents. need to book early for any Massages done professionally great after long walks around Energylandia and Auschwitz. I would suggest to rent a car as taxi charges are getting expensive for 10 mile journeys looking at 100-130 pln . There is parking at the hotel.

It ended up being fantastic when we first arrived we were staying in one of the rooms with the balcony which was supposed to have air conditioning and a refrigerator but neither worked in our room the young lady working the front desk immediately tried to contact someone they had already left for the day she came to the room to see if she could get the air conditioning or refrigerator to work and short she was unable to and immediately transferred us to a larger room with a bigger balcony more of a suite her professional and courteous service definitely made it worth our time staying there and the little bit of inconvenience at the beginning I would highly recommend it I also had a massage at the spa and it was unbelievable

I am so glad I chose this hotel to stay in with my family. It was absolutely beautiful and only about a fifteen-minute drive to the Auschwitz Memorial site(s). The staff in the hotel and restaurant were very accommodating, friendly, and helpful. My ONLY criticisms are: the beds and pillows were quite uncomfortable, there is no ATM on-site, and no vending machines with little snacks or drinks. When we found ourselves needing money or snacks, we had to drive to a nearby convenience store.

The hotel was beautiful. The restaurants on site had amazing food. The breakfast was amazing as well! The problem was the spa.
One of the things we booked was a couples massage in the spa and it was the worst experience I have ever had in a spa

The date we arrived, my husband and I went down to the spa and booked a couples massage in person. The next day, we walked in and told the front desk attendant we were here for our massage. She then gave us towels and no directions other than where the locker rooms were.

After about 10 minutes of waiting in the lobby for the massage in towels, we decided to ask about our massage. The front desk worker told us we didn’t have an appointment. After some time she realized she wrote down the wrong room number. We then were lead into the massage room.

My husband and I laid down on the tables and the massages began. The massage therapists talked in Balinese to each other the entire time and did not give us a full hour massage. During the massage, the spa was so loud that we could hear the other guests in the massage room.

When we were moved to the quiet room to enjoy our tea, the other guests were in there talking loudly. At this point my husband and I have not been able to completely relax. We drank our tea in the very loud quiet room and decided to try the Sauna. At this point the other guests in the spa we’re running around being very loud. They were so loud that we ended up leaving. Not relaxing at all that point

Really lovely hotel. I had a single room which was exactly as per photos and perfect for my requirements. Only issue was calcified shower head in desperate need of a clean, rendering shower not very good. Breakfast was fantastic with great selection and excellent quality. Free use of spa facilities during stay was a real bonus following long day out. Car parking was tricky on Friday & Saturday, but ok at other times. Restaurant served excellent food (we ate there 2 of 3 nights) with good selection of Polish and Italian cuisine. Beer & vodka selection also good and reasonable prices.

This was our most disappointing hotel in Poland. It had a very low price but the quality was accordingly.
Our towels had wholes in them.
The mattresses were those old style spring mattresses (I didn't even know those still existed).
There were no Corona measures at breakfast: everybody was walking around without mouthmask and could touch everything.
The breakfast was not very good, the milk was sour.

If you are visiting Auschwitz, then this hotel is a perfect option. Granted,the surrounding area of this hotel isn't going to win any awards for beauty as the view is pretty dismal really. But don't let this put you off as the interior of the hotel is lovely, modern and clean.
The price of this hotel is unbelievably good value including breakfast (excellent selection ) as well as entrance to their wonderfully appointed Spa & Wellness Center, which provided a wonderful relaxing experience after a very busy morning visiting the museum.

Room was fresh in decor and very clean, beds were very comfortable (if you prefer a firm mattress, which I do) though pillows could do with being a lot thicker as way too flat.

Bathroom clean and spacious. Shower had great water pressure and constant hot water. Only downside being the shower head had too many blocked jets to be perfect but did the job.

Only niggle I have with the room, is that there are no power points at the bedsides, so if you E-book/kindle is running out of power, then no more reading in bed.

The price of food and drink in the hotel (and Poland in general I believe) is incredibly cheap, certainly compared to the UK and the food served in both the hotel restaurant and cellar bar is plentiful and good quality.

All in all the perfect hotel for our flying visit. I will definitely return if I visit Austwietz museum again but then add on an additional night or 2 in Krakow city itself before returning to the UK

This hotel is lovely on the outside. We did not have an opportunity to use the spa amenities, so this review is just for the room.

We picked this hotel because it was supposed to have air conditioning, but we could never get it to work. Luckily, it was a cool night, so we just opened the window. The shower is tiny. The beds are like camp beds. I honestly felt like I was at sleep-away camp. It was adequate and it's located close to Auchwitz, but it's not very comfortable.

Im surprised this hotel rated so highly. To start with the positives...the grounds were beautiful, the staff very helpful and the restaurant was just fantastic. Unfortunately the spa was completely booked during my stay so I did not get to experience that. I was disappointed there was not climate control in the room, it was quite warm. The shower head would not stay put in the shower so I had to hold it the entire time. The beds were incredibly uncomfortable and there was only 1 outlet in the room, next to one of the beds. The other bed was across the room with no outlet. Not a big deal for me since I was alone but that may be bothersome to others. It was ok for one night but I would not stay there again.

Short stay so not able to take advantage of the spa services. Staff at reception helpful at check in and check out. Excellent breakfast environment, excellent offerings.
