When I originally made the reservation, I was looking to book a hotel for Friday, May 15. At some point in the system it changed to the 16th when I had booked this hotel. I immediately tried to change it and even called the hotel to see if they could change the date. I was not looking to cancel it. I just wanted it on a different date.

When I called the person answering, the phone said I had to go through Hotels.com and said good luck with that. Later, I got the response that the hotel denied canceling the reservation.

I would’ve been perfectly happy just to change the date to a different date. Service between the hotel and Hotels.com was horrible.

Booked online, took a $40 Uber to get there, no staffers, sign on window said no vancancies? Well that was odd being that i was able to book, and noone answered the phone, had to fight with Expedia to get my money back, I do not recommend.

This was the worst motel I have ever stayed in, its more of a residence property and it's very outdated and has absolutely no amenities whatsoever, not even plastic water cups .
The rooms smell of smoke and urine and the bedding is from the 1970s ,also the beds are double beds ,not Queen or King. Bars on all the windows and rude staff banging on the door 5 mins past check out. Hotels. Com should not even be supporting this property, it is horrible.

Disastrous stay.

I stay in well over a hundeptec hotel rooms over the course of the year and this one was right at the bottom. Check in began with having to sign three pages of various conditions. Not ever a good sign.

Getting into my hotel room, I discover that the room was never cleaned from the las5 guest. Towels messed up, trash can filled with sexual lubricants and such and the bed looking suspect. To their credit, when notified, the desk cleaned the room and remade the bed with what I hope were fresh linens. It should be mentioned the hotel uses brown towels, far easier to conceal dirt and stains.

The hotel has installed overly technical Fire TV’s when what I watch is broadcast TV. First up, every time I turned on the television it went into a 10 minute reboot. In order to get broadcast TV, the desk clerk had to find a new remote since the one in the room wasn’t working.

As for the WiFi, it worked for about 15 minutes before disappearing for good. Perhaps the office could have done a reset, but not in the mood to return with yet another issue.

Do yourself a favor and pass this place by.

Surprised how cute it was on the outside but the inside rooms were less than be desired. Felt rundown and old. I was concerned about little critters so we slept with the lights on. The toilet didn’t flush properly so by morning it was plugged up. My morning shower was cold water. The man at the front desk was kind. If you need ice you better bring it yourself because ice there is limited. I would not stay there again

Cigarette Smell=Unhabitable

Billed as non-smoking, the room reaked of cigarette smoke. The staff tried to accommodate--no other room was available so handed me a bottle of Febreeze and said they would contact housekeeper. Said they would change room on second night. No amount of refund available or offered. Linens smelled clean but the smoke smell permeated the room. Had to find different accomodations. Gave stars because of the staff's efforts, otherwise this is 0-1 star place. I just needed a clean place to sleep since I was attending a workshop all day but the smell negated all the effort of cleanliness for the rest of the room and bathroom.

absolutely horrific. walls paper thin I heard the next door rooms conversations, stunk like cigarettes, the floor was so dirty it stained the soles of my shoes. the bathroom shower curtain was a moldy brown fabric curtain, not plastic, so when it got wet in the shower it smelled horrific. the tv didn’t work and the wifi was a joke. the area is sketchy at best I was constantly stressed about my car being broken into. the only upside is the office worker was kind and helpful, but unfortunately the facility is disgusting.

Do Not Stay: Not Habitable: Not Comfortable

I had to cut my stay short and leave the next day due to the condition of the room. 1st, there was a terrible odor that made it impossible to breathe. It was toxic and caused me to get a bad cough by the next day. The room was cold and there was no blanket. The heater could not be used because it was full of dust and blew dust everywhere when turned on. Additionally, there were incense sticks stuck in the heating element. Beside the lack of a blanket, there was no bath towels, no working electric sockets in the bathroom, and no light bulbs in the bedside lights. The brown hand towels smelled, and the duvet cover was ripped and stained. The floor was sticky to boot. The toilet was filthy and had brown stains all over it. There were no hangers on the closet dowel which was also partially broken. The mirror had aluminum foil partially covering it as it was broken and not replaced. The room was not habitable at all. However, the man who checked me in was nice and friendly. Sadly, the hotel room is not habitable.

Our room was dirty, dirty pillow cases, shower, had someone’s dirty pants hanging on the shower rod, the sink and mirror were dirty. The guy who checked us in was helpful and refunded $20 gave new pillow cases and towels, said housekeeping would come in an hour to clean but nobody came. I worked as a housekeeper before so I know the standards of what it should look like and this was by far the worst place I’ve ever stayed. Smelled like cigarettes in the middle of the night very very strongly. I would have probably went somewhere else if it wasn’t so late and I wasn’t traveling all day with a child.

This has to be the best find in Long Beach! The rooms are clean the grounds are nicely manicured, and the young couple that runs the place, so professional and very sweet and accommodating. This will be the place. My best friend stays when he comes into town.

I needed a cheap place to crash on the way to somewhere else, and this place worked well for that.

It was a little dirty, but any issues I had were addressed by the staff (my key card stopped working and the office woman kindly fixed it for me at 1am).

It does offer weekly rates, so the rooms do feel lived in, but it worked exactly as I needed it to.

The general vibe of the room was pretty dirty. One of the light fixtures in the bathroom was missing bulbs, the light switches were kinda gross, the room was advertised as non-smoking but smelled strongly of smoke. The room I stayed in was a handicap accessible room, the shower reminded me of what you'd see at a pool, there was no lip at all, which means the entire bathroom floor was the same as the shower floor. I didn't use it, but it still dripped constantly, so the nearly whole bathroom floor was kinda wet.

No fault of the Motel, but the location is a bit sketchy, there were a few times throughout the night I heard people yelling at each other outside.

AC worked great though, TV was good, and it had a working microwave and fridge/freezer.

This was not worth the money paid. The key card didn’t work, so every time you wanted to enter the room the front desk clerk would have to let you in. That was very inconvenient and odd. The door was very hard to open and close, you have to use some force. The room was so small, the bed frame was disgusting, the pillows were extremely flat, the floors were dirty my white socks looked gross, the bathroom is super small, the walls are thin, so you can hear guests in other rooms. At some point in the night around 3am someone was whistling it was very eerie, it sounded like a call, definitely something out of a horror film. There was not that much parking, the images of the motel are deceiving. This is the type of place you go to and want your money back. Don’t waste your time or money.

So I knew when booked this stay it wasn’t going to be a spa like 5star hotel and I was ok with that. I’ve often stayed in 2/3 star places bc I just need a cheap place to sleep on my trip. But…. Just want to warn future bookers….at first check in the lady was uninviting. Like she didn’t like her job. Then the room was the second from the street. Not a big deal just hard to park. The room smelled like fabulouso but they definitely didn’t clean much. The tub was filthy. Black hair everywhere and globs of conditioner. The floors were dirty and sticky. We never walked around barefoot because of it. I actually went the next day and bought a swifter mop to mop the floors myself and the pads were gross. The bedsheets were so thin there were holes in them and they were see through. In order to get more toilet paper you have to go to someone else’s room and ask for it. Awkward. Walls are thin and no one in the area seems to sleep. I can sleep through a lot but for some reason I felt uneasy there so I was paranoid the whole time. My daughter and I left a day early because of it. If you are just passing thru and looking for a cheap place to sleep this is good for it but to stay and feel comfortable not so much. It did have a fridge and microwave so I was able to keep the food we traveled with and bought food for the trip cold.

Tv didnt work, theyve got 1 room permanently occupied by their \"maintenance/cleaner\" person, which was a sketchy couple looking like they do drugs. Not enough parking for every room, they have parking spit inches from the door of the hotel making you squeeze yourself out to get padt a car to/from your door. Really uncomfortable. All in all a sketchy place, rude lady at the front office which seems connected to their living quarters. It was just wierd for the $100 price. This is like a $40-60 a night kind of place l, not the $100 I paid for.
