The property at Garnett looked very nice and the pool was nice and clean.
The room, however, was not. The beds were clean and comfortable but the bathroom needed cleaning. The floor was dirty, the tub was dirty and drained very slowly, I would say they need a bathroom remodel. The towels and wash cloths felt damp before you even used them. Most hotels have at least 4 of each. We had 2 and there were 3 in our party.
The staff was okay. They were not overly friendly and sometimes grudgingly helpful. One lady even locked the pastry cabinet and turned off the juice machine while my granddaughter was still getting her food, very RUDE indeed! I will not be staying there again.

the front desk staff was pretty helpful, they let us know that the pool closes at 12 so we took a little night swim which was great. they had fresh towels by the pool as well, which was great. the beds were fine, pillows were a bit flat but still comfortable. the bathroom is probably my least favorite part. it wasn't dirty, we had fresh linens, but the toilet barely flushes, and the sink didn't fully drain on its own, we had to manually drain it. overall, our stay was fine, the hotel did what we needed it to do. the price was a bit high in my opinion for the quality of the room, but the staff were helpful and the pool had late hours which were big pluses for us. I would probably choose this hotel again just for how easy everything was, and it's in a very convenient area. if the bathrooms were updated, this would be a 5 star review!!

Staff accommodated us quite well. Gave us 2 rooms together with extra roll seats. Rooms looked decent, however, they could’ve been cleaner better especially the bathrooms and fitted sheets. Good breakfast. Kids loved the pool. Loved the distance to places especially the beach and a good park. Overall, this was an okay hotel for the prices. Could’ve had more breakfast options and more coffee.

Staff was great, room was decent for the price. Rooms could use some basic upgrades (fix bar that hold clothes, new mattress, deep clean carpet or replaced with something else, and it smelled of marijuana most days. Will be staying there in a couple of weeks again and will discuss with management. Overall a good place to stay if you don’t plan on being in your room most of the day and just need a place to shower and crash.

Room smelled really bad and the room was dirty. Key cards kept un programming and we had to get a new one every time we returned to our hotel. Not enough towels or pillows. Housekeeping didn’t visit our room while we were away. No hangers or hooks anywhere and the TV was lame.

This hotel is really a motel. The photos and description did not begin to compare to the actual property. There were stains on both bedspreads, the bathroom tub/shower toilet were badly stained. The room was so disgusting we checked out 15 minutes after checking in, and decided to find other accommodations, which was difficult. The exterior room entrances were not safe. Do not stay at this property unless you're desperate.

There was a strange man walking by my door at all times of the night smelling of pot.

My first room was not cleaned - it still had the soap of the previous person still in the shower.

They put me (a single woman) all the way in the back.
And the lock was missing parts and did not work.
I have a picture if you would like to see.

I would honestly like my money back, but pretty sure that wont happen. But i will not be back.

Room was molded. And unfortunately I didn't notice until check out time. The entire stay I had headaches due to the mold. The pillows were mildewed. The bed skirt was mildewed. I would have asked for a refund but why bother. They don't seem to care. Now it's Sunday. We left Saturday morning and I'm still dealing with the migraines brought on by the mold. Yes. I've been to Dr. I will NEVER STAY HERE AGAIN!!!.

The Google Photos of this hotel make it look far more appealing than it actually is. My wife and I stayed here for 4 days and not once did we get fresh towels, toilet paper, trash bags, or sheets. On top of that, each day we were here, our key magically would stop working while we were out around town causing us to repeatedly have to get it fixed. Going to get it fixed would take at least 20 minutes for someone to even come to the front. The overall cleanliness of this place is terrible. Each trash can you passed was overflowing with garbage and trash bags piled on the sides of them. The shower in our room had other individuals hair all in it and the toilet looked as if it had never been cleaned before. The towels that we had from the beginning of our stay had black stains all over them. Our AC did not work at all during our stay, wouldn’t even turn on. There was a dehumidifier that was completely full, no telling the last time it may have been dumped. There was food and drinks left behind in the fridge from previous guests. There were certain staff members that would walk around asking guests for cigarettes. On the last day of our stay, we tried to check out, no one would come to the front. We called the number left behind and it was a disconnected line. We kept our hopes high that our room would be refreshed each time we would return from being out for the day, but were let down entirely. As stated before, photos online of this hotel are far from the reality of it.

The hotel thing's putting a cheap coat of paint on the outside and it's location is a reason for premium pricing when the rooms inside are dated and honestly disgusting. There was mold mildew and dirt especially in Corners in the bathroom not to mention the water scum that was built up on the stainless steel shower fixtures as a former Hotel housekeeper that is absolutely unacceptable and unsanitary and shows poor care for the cleaning Crew That's contracted for this hotel. Not to mention your cleaning crew shows up at 8:00 a.m. and starts yelling and screaming in the parking lot asking if everyone's out yet I'm sorry my checkout time is it until 11:00 a.m. how about you could tell you're cleaning company to go jump off a cliff because I paid for a full night.

You cannot open or shut your hotel room door without absolutely slamming it and that's another thing they just don't care about because they put a coat of paint on it and it's all better because it's by the ocean it may be only $100 a night at most but I would do everything in my power to never stay at this hotel again and I urge you to do the same

The sheets in one room were dirty, feces on the wall. Unfortunately I didn’t find out how bad the room was til next day as I wasn’t in the room. My room was not fresh clean but not as bad as the other. You had to be careful not to pull faucet off when using it. Do not go there.

The waffles were very good. You need to improve on the quality of the eggs and sausage. Maybe add some bacon. The coffee tasted a little weak. The woman staffing the breakfast this time was very attentive unlike the past visits when I’ve been there.(I stay at your property 2 to 3 times a month.)
The room was clean. Faucets and shower heads need updating.
Parking was fine. Numbers on the rooms need to be larger.
Didn’t see anyone at the front desk while I was having breakfast.

I booked my reservation on Expedia.com. I arrive at 2:15 pm & I was immediately told by a lady sitting in the waiting area playing on her phone that I had to wait for a room to be cleaned before check in& I would need $100 deposit & it had to be on debit/credit card.

No where on the reservation states there is $100 deposit & it has to be on a credit/debit card. The hotel wouldnt accept cash for the deposit.

While waiting for the room to be \"cleaned\" I went to put my cash on a card for the deposit. Upon coming back to the property I noticed almost all the rooms at this hotel have the curtains wide open and are VACANT. SO WHY DID I HAVE TO WAIT TO CHECK-IN?

The next morning I get up & go downstairs for breakfast. The hot breakfast included sausage which was cold but well overcooked which appeared to be older than the other sausage available that was raw & had white spots all over it. The eggs were cold and watery. There was only enough waffle mix for 1 -2 waffles. There was no syrup to be found. There was very little milk in the refrigerator not even enough to make a bowl of cereal. Very upsetting being I was expecting a Continental Breakfast.

My stay consisted of 2 days & not once did housekeeping come to ask if we needed anything. The furniture was scratched & worn. The linens were stained & appeared to be not clean or changed. I ended up purchasing & using my own linens. The AC in the room was old, dusty & loud.

The rooms were so disgusting I didn’t even want to sit in the bed. The comforters were staid along with the pillows and the bed. Trash in the floor and doors didn’t lock properly. We did not stay here. It didn’t feel save. The pictures are a lie the hotel looks nothing like that. Very disappointing

The room was dirty... Toothpaste in the sink, mold in the tub and on the ceilings. Mold on the lamp shades, a short in the light that buzzed so much I unscrewed the bulb. It was literally a roach hotel, yes I have pictures. We will never stay here or recommended this place.

Great location, great parking (with a boat trailer). Great service. Room was musty or damp. Noticed mold in bathroom on ceiling and behind the toilet. I may be more critical than others because I am a licensed home inspector. Prices were reasonable.

The room was dirty when we arrived. There was pet hair all over the bed and the sheets were stained. Also, it rained over night and the ceiling leaked, ruining some of our personal belongings. ‘I’ll have them look at it.’ Was all they said. No apologies or anything. We won’t be returning.
