I’m a little spoiled when it comes to hotels—I typically stay in 3-star-and-above properties that cost $200+ per night. But the reviews were so impressive that I decided to give it a try, and it absolutely lived up to the hype.

The rooms were spotless, the staff was friendly and welcoming, and the location right on the river was beautiful. One of my favorite parts of the stay was relaxing by the pre-lit fire pits, listening to the river flow by under the stars.

A wonderful experience, and I’d happily stay here again.

We have stayed here multiple times. The grounds are well kept & updated. Very clean. Located next to the river.

Across the driveway is the Bunny Slope where there are the most delicious pastries & coffees. The cappuccino is consistently the best I’ve ever had.

Cute inn next to the river with campfire and BBQ pits for guests to use. Great location for access to Sierra-at-Tahoe. The only downside is the noise from upstairs if you happen to get a room on the first floor.

\"LI had a fantastic stay at. The first thing you notice is how impeccably clean everything is. It really sets the tone for a comfortable visit. The location right on the river is breathtaking. It’s tucked away among the pine trees, making for a very quiet and picturesque atmosphere.
The rooms feel fresh and recently renovated. A huge shoutout to the staff, who were incredibly friendly and accommodating. If you’re looking for a serene, well-managed getaway with beautiful views, I highly recommend this spot.

I ski bike and this location is perfect for Sierra at Tahoe, a quick 20 minute drive with no snow on the roads. The facilities are older but recently renovated. The staff is awesome and I really like supporting a local business owner over a big name motel. I have been using the Sierra Inn for the last 6+ years with no plans on staying elsewhere.

The room itself was in good condition, and we stayed for two nights. However, after the first night, the staff did not clean the room, make the bed, replace the towels, or restock the water and coffee. We returned late in the evening and had to go down to the reception at 9 p.m. to report all of this.

I’ve been using the Sierra Inn for my Sierra at Tahoe ski bike trips for about 8 years now. I’ll be using it for another 8 years. It’s clean and provides a great place to stay after a long day of ski biking. The staff is always friendly and great. The remodeling they have done was a needed improvement on an older motel. If I stay here over a chain brand, I can stay an extra 2 days for the money I save as and get a 4 day ski biking trip over a 2 day ski biking trip. If you want a clean room with a nice comfy bed and directv, and good wifi, this is the place, but book it early because it books up during the ski season!

We spent a lot of time by the river snacking, and just looking at the scenery. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the place was quite quiet, even though it’s fairly close to the highway.

The two beds in the room were the worst ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Put goid mattresses in your Rooms!
You have a 9.4 rating. Not sure what the public was rating. The beds were the worst mattresses I've ever had to sleep on!!
The Ice machine was for One Customer only. I wish all hotels had to have a certain standard to be renting rooms to the public.

Kyburz Gem is Perfect!

Absolutely charming little inn tucked inside the Eldorado National Forest only a bit more than half hour past Lake Tahoe outside Carson City. You can’t imagine any setting much better! The room: pristine clean; modern, renovated, sheets soft as butter and a memory foam mattress you will think you are a baby in a cradle! Fridge, microwave and coffee maker. Pretty new hardwood like flooring - no gross carpet. Heat lamp and plenty of hot water for shower. Only negative for us - no restaurant so we went a mile down the road to a 76 gas station and picked up giant pack of all beef Kirkland hot dogs $9.99, buns, and breakfast snacks. Came back and cooked them on the grill outside watching the beautiful sunset, and hearing the rapids of the American River. Several areas for relaxing, outdoor fire pits with plenty of wood. Pet friendly. Definitely will come again.

It is listed as being by the river and is sure is right next to the river. beautiful area around the Inn got some nice pictures while there. Quiet quiet quiet away from the mass confusion and hustle & bustle of Lake Tahoe We will stay there again and again

They charge $40 pet fee!!! And their rooms have very austere floors. Not very hard to clean up if there was an accident.

Also the facility is 17 miles from the nearest place to get anything to eat.

Very nicely remodeled motel for our trip to Sierra-at-Tahoe. Comfy bed, clean modern bathroom, fridge and microwave, super friendly staff, good shop next door that's coffee by day, bar at night. The Hotel has what you need for a quick overnight on the way up to the slopes. I appreciate the hardwood floor, it feels clean, white walls makes it feel updated

Bathroom is updated and spacious with great shampoo and conditioner.

And the staff is superfriendly.
Its totally fine to stay a second night. But we miss to have a place close by for to get dinner
