It is what it is, it's an older motel that fits right in to the area. Rooms are small compared to newer, chain type motels, but this one has character and is super clean and well cared for. Support a local business with heart!

Shopping is a very short walking distance. Rooms were clean, air conditioner worked great, bed was amazingly comfortable, Staff went above and beyond to meet my needs. Definitely staying there again!

Quaint little motel..nothing fancy, but bed was comfy, room was clean and all the staff were extremely kind and attentive! Convenient location too...right near heart of town, but not on main road so much more quiet! If you are looking for modern and fancy...this is not it...but if you want a bed, basic ammenities, great service, and location all at a much more reasonable price...this is the place! It is very old/dated...which is the charm as it is an old motor motel from the 40's I believe. Linens are new/clean and has dish tv, microwave, fridge, and coffee maker..so it has what you need.

If you’re looking for fancy, this isn’t your place. If you want a good nigh’s sleep & no frills, then the Jumping Frog Motel is perfect. It is a 1950s era style old-school motel. Quaint, charming, reasonably priced & perfect for an overnight stay after a day of visiting wineries or attending a concert at Ironstone Amphitheater.

Old motel. Small rooms. Inadequate blinds and a glaring light outside the room that would make it hard to sleep. Inconsistent hot water. No light in the shower, and water would splash outside making the bath mat wet every time. Swamp cooler HVAC that was located in the closet for some reason, and yet was so loud it would vibrate the whole room, and wake us up every time it would turn on in heat mode - there was no setting I could find to default to fan mode if the temperature was warm enough. Ugh. Very few power outlets for charging phones/laptops. At least there was a (small) fridge, working microwave, and coffee maker. Nice lady manning the front desk, but this place needs a dedicated maintenance guy (handyman) too to address these many - fixable - issues.

Golf Getaway

This motel is an eclectic place. Classic drive up to your door to park, sit outside and chat with a \"beverage\". Best pizza in county across the street a well as other amenities.

This is a good 3--certainly not a Fairmont! We used it for a \"guys\" event-2 days of local golf, beers on the \"patio\" and dinner nearby. Worked great!

Room is extra large with an interesting design for the closet-bathroom-utility workspace. Furniture includes a dining table with 2 large wooden chairs. There's extra patio chairs outside. Platform style bed was very comfortable and clean. Room was odor-free despite the smell of wildfires outside. Overall this is a very smart facility that is clean, well furnished, and very close to a supermarket and fast food options. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

we had the end unit and it was very noisy. there is a motorcycle shop across the street and the street is a well used route for motorcycle riders. we asked for another room and we were told none were available. That night there wer only a few cars in the parking lot and nobody came and went. it appeared that rooms were available and we had to stay in the sound chamber.

Our dtay was amazing. Such friendliness. Yes, older motel and parking a little tight but cottages so cute. The office offered points of interest and brought us a huge basket filled with fresh fruits, sweet breads, cereals, milk, juices. We had the apples before bedtime then took the contents for a beautiful breakfast brunch picnic at the lake.

I was very disappointed in the motel, first of all the rating on line was a 7.0 out of 10 when in reality, it should be no higher than a two. Upon arriving was greeted by a pleasant lady. As I went to my room the first thing I noticed was the paint was peeling off the front door, that should’ve been my first noticeable issue. Once inside the room, not only was everything extremely old, but the baseboards were dirty the closet pole was a metal pipe. The air conditioner was stuck in the closet. The TV did not work at all for the first day, and the lady working, there, did not know how to Correct that. I was trying to stay on a budget and I would have been better off, sleeping in my vehicle. I will never stay there again, even if it cost me twice the amount of money.

The staff was not enviting or friendly. Upon arrival we were not greeted. We waited at the desk for someone to arrive. The woman asked if we had a reservation in which we did but she could not find it and told us that she \"does'nt do computers\". She had to call someone else to see if there in fact was a reservation. After finally working it out she sent us to our room wgich was outdated, old worn out sheets, and the hearer was in the closet. Very strange and wont stay here again. Hard to find decent rooms in teh area. Maybe better off camping.

It is a little old motel from the 50s I think. It is quaint, but the rooms are very small. We were right next to a pretty busy street so it was noisy. For a room that was 150.00 per night it is definitely one I would not return to.

This is exactly what you’d expect a motel to be, but appeared to be very clean, considering. My tv didn’t work which was kind of annoying, but I read my book instead.

Also, the water had been shutoff earlier that day and I went to buy my own bottled water.

Masks are optional everywhere in Calabria country, it seemed. I’m vaccinated, so best of luck and may the odds be ever in your favor.

I know the property is over 50 years old so I was prepared for that. Wifi was non-existent, charge for room way over the top, extra charge for pets, extra charge for a 2nd car, extra charge to use the 'family' outdoor kitchen.
The reason I know it's over 50 is I did yard work there 53-54 years ago.

Based on the website pictures I was expecting a quaint motel that had been remodeled. It didn't fit what I was expecting. The room was adequate. Hooks on the wall were broken, TV had bad reception and took 10 minutes to connect with Direct TV services and the pillows had an inner plastic sleeve under the pillowcases that made them sound crunchy, feel hot and not very comfortable. There was basically no internet connection so barely one bar so made it hard depending on the bad TV for entertainment. There was definitely free parking and coffee provided. I asked for a shower chair and that was nicely provided. This place would have been so much nicer with my own pillows and a good book to read.

It's worth it

We checked in late and she was nice. Our room was right next to the office so every time someone would come in our out we would hear the chimes. We could also hear them talking, the phone ringing, etc so it was pretty annoying. The bed was really comfortable so that was nice and really the only reason we went there. It was clean but dated. I would stay there again, just not in room 101.
