A little way out as I normally go for city centre but just a €15 cab ride. Delightful staff, wonderful breakfast and a good gym and pool and if you chose to eat in the restaurant the food was great.
The staff could not be kinder to help me with a late checkout ..

The restaurant served good food, and the breakfast was good, but it was too hot inside the breakfast room.
Also, a few more signs pointing out where the elevators and garage are would be helpful.

Hotel clerk was excellent and flawless. I wish everyone was as professional, helpful and pleasant like him. He gave me free water and allowed me to check in late with no additional charge. He also spoke English which is not a given in hotels, restaurants, cabs, stores.

My only wish was my hotel was located near the city center where I could walk around. Cabs are not cheap here. Because of the location of my hotel there was no tour pickup available from here.

The property condition left much to be desired. We were on the 3rd floor and the hallway wood laminate was thoroughly damaged and held together with packing tape, literally. The bed in our room was comfortable but the condition of the room was worn and damaged. I don’t recommend staying here. There are many other great options in Cagliari, stay at one of them!

Surprisingly nice for a holiday inn by an airport. Nice staff. Nice lobby. Good food. The area is what you’d expect for an airport area. Good thing they have a decent restaurant there as there’s nothing else nearby. Our big issue was the bed and pillows. Pretty lumpy and uncomfortable. Thanks for the free parking though!

Room and breakfast were good. The only thing that took us by surprise was that it was a little way out of town. There is no direct public transport to get to the hotel from the airport so you will need a taxi (Eu20)
But there is a half-hourly bus #19 that goes from outside the hotel and after a few stops (or a 12-min walk) you can swap to a #1 bus that goes into the city centre seafront.

Very friendly, welcoming staff. Lobby was spacious with lots of seating for guests while waiting for cocktails from the bar or while waiting to be seated to eat a meal in the on-site restaurant. The amenities were ample and easily accessible to the guests. The property was close to the airport, but in a noisy, dirty, unsafe industrial area. It was not conducive for walking into town or anywhere else. Perhaps a free or very affordable hotel shuttle service for hotel guests to and from the airport would help? 😎

Location is the problem- even though it says 10 mins to centre (and it is a 10 minute ride), property is in the middle of nowhere (industrial area). If was difficult and costly to get a taxi, uber was better and found a good car service. Staff wasn’t very helpful with information. Wouldn’t recommend this property if you are wanting to spend a lot of time in the city centre.

Good because it’s close to the airport (what I need it) the hotel its not in it’s best shape but it does the job. My main problem that I booked a room and they wanted to charge me more because we were 2 people (me and my girlfriend) I had a lot of arguments with the staff, had to report to expedia and they finally accepted that the price was the same for 1 or 2 the price is for the room ad the expedia app and the receipt states. The person on charge of the bar was not friendly and some rude. He ignored us when we tried to ask for a drink when we arrived. The young lady who received us she was very sweet and helpful. We arrived at 9:30 am since we had arrived from a cruise. She allowed us to put our luggage on a room while we went to explore the island. I wished she would stay for our check in, but her shift was ended by then.

I decided to stay for a night at his hotel so i could be near the Airport and enjoy the sun one more day in the pool.
The pool was very dirty, the sunbeds the dirtiest i have ever seen. Carpets in the corridors very dirty and old, teared in some parts which can be easily trip hazard.
Staff was very friendly. The restaurant had good food.

Rent a car if you stay here because taxis are difficult to find and there is no Uber service in Cagliari. The pool is nice but there are not a lot beds available. Overall a good stay

We were given a room. But when we went to the room, it was dirty, unmade, and stank. The night desk clerk was helpful but apparently there were “no clean rooms” according to the computer. He found one, but after our first room experience, did not feel very clean. The hotel aged, carpets are dirty, and the furniture old.

We stayed only one night because we had an early flight out of cagliari, only 5 min from airport. Depressing old hotel, Pool area dirty and lounge chairs with dirty spots i could not sit on them. First room we were given was hot and stuffy a/c was not working, requested to change room and i was accommodated.

Our room window didn’t close completely and I don’t think the neighbors did as we heard him repeatedly slamming it trying to get it to close. Killed 3 mosquitoes in the room on different days. Taxi service to the airport in the morning (4.30am) was extremely expensive. Almost 40% more than coming to the hotel from the marina Son Elmo. Maybe the hotel should look at who they are using. Otherwise the hotel was fine, nice dinner, with pleasant service.

We arrived at midnight, My arm got stuck in the revolving door which did not have a shot off mechanism my husband had to push it the opposite way to stop it from crushing my armRoom was extremely hot, Ac wasn't working properly. Bath tub/shower wasn't draining. Just terrible experience.

We had asked for a hotel with a pool and the Holiday Inn popped up. So we assumed that the pool was in service. Reasonable hotel if you need to stay close to the airport. Terrible breakfast buffet: the coffee served is instant Nescafé and the milk in the "cappuccino" is powder milk - this should be a capital offense in Italy. A hotel shuttle to the airport would be helpful.

Good hotel with nice up to high standards rooms. Great value for money, large comfortable beds and friendly and helpful stuff.
Clean and extremely welcoming and enjoyable altogether.
Since prices were pretty high elsewhere even it was still low season, this was the best decision we could do by staying a bit more far from the city centre. After all, we had a rental, but it’s a bit far from the city centre that’s the truth. A taxi might cost quite a lot, plus nearby there is absolutely nothing. We had to drive around to find a local pizzeria, but if walking then forget about that.
Saying this, don’t judge the hotel for the location, this clearly is not a city centre hotel, yet it was everything we needed and fulfilled out expectations.
To note is the 24 hours sauna and steam rooms available to the guests. But if you want to use the facilities, make sure to go before to put those on as they keep them off, which is kind of logical as we did not even see anyone using them. An outdoor pool is also offered but opened only during summer months.
Another great point is their free secured car park.

Difficult to drive back!!!

The hotel is close to the airport - very convenient for flights.
However, getting back to the hotel after our tour of the city (Cagliari), was a nightmare - at night without GPS!!!
Numerous roads and highways criss cross each other - so beware!!!
The swimming pool will be closed till June, we were told.
Most disappointing.
Otherwise, the hotel was OK.

I chose this hotel because it was close to the airport and it was nice enough but more "basic" than I'd expected. Other than a combination soap-shampoo, there were no toiletry items in the bathroom-no q-tips, no shoeshine kit, nothing like that. Also, bar snacks and room service were available only when the restaurant was open; I arrived hungry after a 24 hour flight hours before the restaurant opened and there are no other bars or restaurants within walking distance. I would have expected a little more from a Holiday Inn.

A lovely hotel, close to the airport. I enjoyed my stay very much and would stay here again. One little detail: one of the towels in the bathroom was visibly dirty which I hadn't expected from a hotel like this. But it got promptly exchanged so no harm done.

The restaurant and the sauna are really nice and highly recommended.

The location makes this hotel terrible. It is at the end (or beginning) of the city limits, in an industrial area. There were (I can not say the word, according to hotels.com policy) on the same street. The view from my room was what looked like a pig farm. A really awful place. On top of that, when I checked in, the receptionist, Giuseppe, was very rude and not helpful at all. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL.

This time we decided to purchase wifi and try the restaurant. Wifi was given to us for free, which was an unexpected, yet pleasant surprise. It is mentioned as subjected to a fee on the hotels.com website. However it is limited to one device. Had we decided to stay longer we would have had to have a solution for at least 3 or 4 devices, we have cell phones that cost a bundle to use abroad unless we have wifi, and we have to work on our computers, mostly online. Each time you disconnect, it takes a few mn for a new device to get online. The restaurant was perfect. Extremely reasonably priced, very fresh, good italian food, and nice portion size. Cab back to airport, at 5AM was 17.50$. Still no shuttle :-)

We picked this location because we wanted something near the airport so as not to bother our relatives with a late arrival and an early departure. So we booked 2 nights. We took a low cost flight and were trying to keep our costs down. We picked this place because it said it was near the airport and there was a shuttle. It is 4km from the airport and has no shuttle, despite the fact that Hotels.com says so. " For a surcharge, guests receive transportation including a roundtrip airport shuttle (available on request) and a train station pick-up service" The hotel also mentioned that it NEVER had a shuttle. The minimum price for a cab ride is 19 euros at night (we arrived at 11h30 and are flying out at 6:45). Wifi is at a surcharge in the rooms but we were allowed to connect at no charge in the lobby. We had to ask for it but it was provided. Beyond these details he hotel is impeccable, super nice and new. We slept very well.

We did book this hotel because there was a deal. We were not disappointed with the quality of the room cleanliness and the freindly multi lingual staff. We were here in December january and benefited by having a car although not too sure his close public transport is.
It is on the outskirts of an industrial zone close to main roads and the airport but there are plenty of local resturants etc within close distance. The centre of cagliari is about 10mins away by car.

The restaurant is great. You should take the time and eat there as there is no need to leave the hotel.
Great are the malloreddus --> a must try !
Filet in peeper sauce was great and try the grilled cheese. Leave some room for some cold "Ichnusa" the Sardinian beer.Finish the evening at the bar with a nice coffee and a good "Mirto"
Good service from the Holiday Inn staff and you can have free internet if you are a priority member with Holiday Inn, they offered even to sign me up.
Parking is on property and free of charge, or you can use the garage for 3Euro per day --> great for rainy days
Hotel is great for a overnight stay for an early flight out, great for businees meetings.
For family possibly not perfect due to location as this is an airport/ business hotel

Getting Every Penny Out of Their Customers

I traveled in Sardinia for 8 days and NEVER had to pay extra for internet. The mini bar costs for just water was twice as expensive as any other hotel I stayed at. I don't understand why they can't just charge a decent price for the room and cover the "small" stuff.

No complaints, great room, service, felt luxurious. The view was awful as the location is odd. The hotel was hard to find as well, the signs are not too obvious and it is rather hidden from the main road.
