The service at Rhythm was excellent. We were welcomed with a nice glass of iced tea on arrival. All staff were very friendly and ready to help any time. Specially, Anjana helped me to wear a saree for a friend’s wedding. The room is beautiful with the pool view. The breakfast buffet could be improved though. The food was average. But overall, recommended place to stay.

Gate entrance to the hotel was locked. No one to greet on arrival. Staff busy with other activities. Unkempt room. Curtain falling off the hooks. Moldy smelling room. Many stains on the bed and pillow covers. Mediocre breakfast with very few selections. We cut our stay short from two nights to one. Expensive stay for below average room and service. Wont return or recommend.

A comfortable stay with really good food! The 2 bedroom suites are great when you’re traveling with family, as there is a large living area to get together.
The only problem we encountered was with extremely loud music coming from an adjoining property. I guess there was very little our hotel could do about that!

Avoid staying here if possible!!

not a good experience with the staff there ! we had booked a queen bed room, and they offered us twin bed !! the food was pathetic!!! dinner buffer was disaster !! they call themselves a 5Star property !! It should be rated as 3 star max! NO ALCOHOL served in their restaurant !!! Overall, there are much better options around in that area. Go for some other hotel. Can easily avoid property!!

A beautiful hotel with a fantastic swimming pool and great SPA. I had one of the bungalow rooms which looked out over the pool with its own patio and it was perfect. Only marked down on comfort due to the pillows on the bed , I am very fussy but to plump and not enough give but then that is probably just me!
Upside or down is that no alcohol is served at this hotel so after a long hot day discovering the beauty of Kerala you might find this a disappointment. Food (I had the evening buffet) was excellent with plenty of choice of local dishes but also catered to more western tastes as well if that is what you prefer. Only real downside was a very unreliable wi-fi (I was here on business , I know lucky me!) which made it very difficult to complete any work. I would also suggest downloading or bringing many books with you as very little locally without taking a taxi, but wow what a lovely place to just relax and chill and breath in the wonderful backwaters air.

A very cozy place to stay.. we choose the lake view cottage and the sunset from the room is simply awesome. The resort has a very huge pool in front of every cottage making the stay amazing. Good quality food and the biriyani is worth trying. Authentic Ayurvedic spa with Sauna make the stay incredible .

Highly over rated hotel

It’s a very over rated and inflated hotel on the ratings ,,,very bad hotel in terms of house keeping -we had to literally beg them to clean our room everyday .
Food taste is very very bad ,I had never seen such a bad breakfast spread in my life .
Every time I asked for coconut water for room service ,they will say -we have to get them from outside .
They never replace cups or glasses in the room even after you ask them repeatedly.

We loved our stay here. The restaurant was particularly good. We visited a couple of other hotels for dinner around the area but this was by far the best food.
The pool was amazing and very clean as were the rooms. All staff were great and we visited the spa too.

The staff at this hotel are unfaultable! I was not well following a meal i had outside the resort and the staff went over and above the norm to ensure i was ok and even sent out for some dry crackers. The facilities were beautiful and so clean! We stayed overlooking the huge pool which was cleaned regularly and the food options were great. The boating excusions were interesting and peaceful. I'd highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting kerala for a few days of true relaxation. 10/10 would stay again.

A lovely relaxing stay

The most relaxing stay. The service was great and friendly. The hotel arranged a wonderful 2 hour early morning boat trip to experience the backwaters. Also our taxi return to the airport. It took 3 hours due to the busy roads, so leave plenty of time. We didn’t leave the hotel for 3 days!! We also had a yoga lesson, with a very attentive teacher.

Beautiful property in the middle of nature. The gardens and pool were very nice. The food was excellent and a family favorite of all our travels this trip, including Mumbai. Bangalore, and Chennai. Staff very helpful, we forgot my daughters earrings there and the night receptionist, Mr. Kuku, was kind enough to mail/post it to a relative in India. The food manager was also exceptional, very concerned about our food needs and even packed a breakfast meal because we had to checkout early morning. Short but excellent stay, would recommend to others.

no extra activity within this property.

We had an extended Kerala trip amd our stay at Kumarkom, Park Regis Aveda was the highlight of our 9 day trip. They were very accomodating and fulfilled all our requests. From upgrading the room to providing a late checkout. The resort itself was so amzing that we didnt need to step out of our cocoon. Its located at the water's edge and is a sprawling resort. The only regret is we didn't stay longer here. Definitely going back..!!

The layout of the resort is the most beautiful I have seen. The giant infinity pool stretching towards the lake is gorgeous. The villas were very comforting and relaxing amidst the natural beauty. I also liked when we were on our boat ride how the resort had a low profile on the shoreline amidst the natural beauty.

The staff was friendly and great. I also like the traditional dance we witnessed during dinner.

Hotel was amazing.. Pool was incredible as well as spa offerings. The room was spacious and all of the food was great. There was also really great options for touring, including an amazing houseboat trip that was very reasonably priced. I also liked that they arranged taxis and you can pay with credit card. Very convenient.

The only issue would be the bed quality. It wasn't that comfortable.

One of the best resorts we ever stayed in. The pool was constantly cleaned throughout the day. We had the luxury private plunge pool with lake view. Had a relaxing swim for most of the day and watched the sunset by the lake. The staff at the front desk Ramya was very helpful with early check in and Sunil, Yuvaraj at La Breeze made sure that our dietary needs were met. They go above and beyond to make your stay a memorable one. The bedding and rooms were very clean and comfortable to stay in. We will be back again!
