Check in was easy. The room was enormously, but not impressed with the old furnishings. The bed was comfortable, but the pillows were like rocks. The man next door was watching Men in Black. No I'm not a psychic, I could hear everything through the paper thin walls. Especially him hacking up a lung in the morning. The huge shower had 5 shower heads. If you were standing on one side your water was luke warm, but the other side was scalding hot. I was awoken 3 separate times during the night by someone who I assume was maintenance shouting about water pressure in a shower. At check out I was not asked how my stay was nor was I thanked for staying there. We will never stay there again.

No breakfast is offered here. While the new esspresso machines in rooms are nice/high end, there was no option (regular coffee pot or microwave) to heat water for the tea and oatmeal I had packed (since I am not a coffee drinker or early riser). Only a coffee option in the lobby, as well. They do have a nice little coffee shop down the street called Blue Collar, however.

I visited for business and was excited to come back for pleasure. The rooms are large and well appointed, especially the bathrooms with the huge tub and multi-jet shower. We stayed on Wednesday evening and were able to take advantage of the “date night” special at Zin, just a short walk away.
My one complaint is that I had to use a towel to block the hallway light shining through the bottom of the room door. Not a big deal for people who don’t need total darkness. It would also be nice if they provided more details on the gym and its facilities - we had no idea if there was a hot tub or other similar amenities and how to take advantage of the various classes offered.

Such a neat hotel in a great little town. The inside was modern and cozy. The room was large and the bed was comfortable- it is rare to find a hotel with a comfy bed anymore. The tub was large and comfortable. Mini bar in the room made for a quick and easy snack if wanted one and they had black out shades to keep the room dark while sleeping. I definitely recommend staying here and look forward to a future trip to stay again!

Made us wait over an hour for check in while we watched numerous other guests arrive before official check in time and go straight up. No one else was turned away. Confirmed my phone number and said they would call when the room was ready, but did not do so. At 3 pm, we asked again to check in and alas, the room was ready! Hotels.com rate was lower than the rate they quoted on their website. Does the lower rate come with lesser service?

I love this boutique hotel. Looks old but is new and very nice. Rooms are nicely appointed and the have fancy showers and tubs. Beds have very nice linens. You can walk to the quaint downtown for dinner and the workout place Nextdoor is amazing.

This is by far the best hotel in the area & one of my all-time favs. Classy & modern. Don’t even question booking this property. An Absolutely Stunning Hidden Gem
A hidden gem in a town that is the same. The room was luxurious as well as spacious. Ceilings are tall as well. The bathroom is spectacular with the jet tub as well as the top of the line walk in shower with 3 jets in the wall as well as the rain fall shower head above you. The receptionists were extremely friendly, helpful, and polite. The restaurant and bar were top notch, and the bartender was always on top of her game. The exterior of the hotel is gorgeous, as the age and condition of it make it one of the more high class, VIP type of establishments. I’m couldn’t say more other than incredible. Every aspect of it is incredible.

We have gone to Delafield Hotel at least six times in the last four years as a couples getaway. We love going here however, with recent changes it’s starting to become a disappointment based on what we’ve experienced from the past I’ll list out a couple things and give you a quick list as I tried to give a more detailed overview but I ran out of room.
Pros: Pillows, different types of coffee (but downstairs), big showers with rainfalls and body jets, big soaking tub, extra toiletries that are not the norm, large rooms, big couch, snacks and beverages (Extra Coast), restaurant on site, gym use, large mirror, well decorated.
Cons: Firm Mattress, (They use to have big plush beds), No jacuzzi tubs (they used to have them), They had an amazing bathroom line called ROME that was super luxurious, smelling) and now all the stuff they switched to smells like bug repellent (citronella scented) they put us above the ballroom that had a wedding so music was bumping until midnight. After we specifically told them, we were looking for a quiet area to reconnect and actually get good sleep since we have small children at home we don’t get that great sleep right now, not enough enough staff working, hardly any parking spots, there was quite a bit of things that were broken like the shower handle was broken. It wasn’t even attached to the shower in general. Not well cared for as far as cleanliness.
Overall, enjoyed going here, but they’ve definitely gone cheaply for more $ in the pocket.
