The staff was very friendly and kind each time we spoke to them, they made check in and check out very smooth and easy! They were easily the best part of our stay, thank you for your kindness! :) Everything in the public areas was kept quite clean, vacuumed and swept regularly from sandy feet! They had a light continental breakfast daily, which was nice. The view of the beach was wonderful as well! The kitchen was stocked with all utensils, creamer, coffee etc..

You can also hear everything going on in the neighbors rooms.

It was the perfect place!!! The property is beautiful, the room was so pretty and spotlessly clean!! There was a washer and dryer and a full kitchen that was stocked with everything you could possibly need and some things that I don't even have at home. The beach was stunning and they keep it very clean and rake it every morning. There is also a fully stocked beach closet with chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards and pool noodles. The pool is beautiful and again, super clean. The potted plants and landscaping around the hotel is beautiful too. Everyone that worked for the hotel were super nice, especially Annie at the front desk and the woman who did such a great job keeping our room cleaned on floor 3, I didn't get her name but she was so nice. I could not recommend this place and it's people anymore! The only bad part was leaving but we will be back next year!! Thank you Edison beach house for the wonderful vacation and everything ❤️❤️❤️

We love the convenient location of EBH. We also love that they have housekeeping services daily if you want them and laundry in each room. My only suggestions would be new pillows - they are very flat, small and uncomfortable, and the key cards can be a bit of a pain. They are very sensitive to erasing and needing to be reprogrammed a lot and they are just one more thing you have to carry around. I like the coded door locks they offer at other places, and they can be reset remotely for the next guest. There also aren’t a lot of beach chair options and there were no augers to go with the two umbrellas that were there. We ended up buying a large beach shade. Other than these things, I would highly recommend this property and we will return!

The Edison Beach House is easy to get to and upon arriving we felt welcomed and happy to be there. Annie at the front desk gave us all the info we needed and she is a delight always remembering my name even days later! The beach access and pool are right on the beach and some beach amenities are available to use like chairs, umbrellas, etc but it's very limited. Towels were also provided at the front desk for the pool or beach. The room had all that we needed including a full kitchen with all the utensils needed to cook on your own and 2 bedrooms with 2 full baths. We were lucky to get the room with the balcony facing the Gulf- much recommended!! This location is within walking distance to many restaurants and bars but you can also park here for free and easily drive farther down the beach or to Sanibel island. The only complaint we had was the drains were slow to drain in the shower and bathroom sinks and the elevator was slow- not a big deal on either! We will definitely be back and will recomend to anyone we know!

I loved staying there and noticed that the other guests were as pleased as I was. The rooms were clean and the manager Marlene and front desk ladies Annie and Vanessa were so nice! They were always ready to assist us with anything we needed. Kindness was the word there for me! I can't say enough great things about this place. Right on the beach! Walking distance to times square, restaurants and shops. Quiet. Rooms were very clean. We had a 2 bedroom the kids loved having their own space and bathroom. Full kitchen outdoor balcony. Honestly it was everything we needed and wanted. They also have beach chairs you can use. Pool was nice and clean. We would stay here again and will if we come back to Fort Myers Beach!

We had a partial beach view and it was very nice. Had construction work due to the hurricane which I totally understand but was a little of annoying because of the noise. The facilities were good as well as the pool and outdoor patio. The staff were accommodating and pleasant. I feel there were a few maintenance items that should be done based on the price of the room.

Beautiful view even for a partial view listing. Location was perfect- walkable to restaurants and right on the beautiful beach. Loved having a washer and dry- even had laundry soap. There is a lot of noise at night from the refrigerator to the a/c units and the road- recommend bringing earplugs if you are a light sleeper. The mattress felt like a pull out sofa mattress, definitely work up with achy joints. Glad it was for only one night. But to be ocean front and great location it’s worth it. Their free breakfast was very welcoming. We enjoyed coffee, juice and the protein bars with yogurts. Made for the morning walks on the beach nice! We didn’t get in the pool but it was small but a nice dip after swimming in the ocean.

Also I think that if you book through a third party like Expedia you get the less desirable room—-we ended up having to book an extra day bc our flight as delayed by 12 hours and so it was very obvious that the room we moved to was much much better—more updated—than the one we stayed in for the first four days. Not a big fan of Ft Myers—had zero good meals. The location of our place was great though—away from all of the noise/busyness but close enough to walk.

They are very clean, and spacious with washer & dryer in the apartment. The new pool area is finished and lovely. The Edison also provides beach chairs if you would prefer to sit at beach. The rooms have a partial or full Gulf view. This property has an excellent location right on the beach, next to Times Square, and walking distance to many restaurants and bars. Rooms were great, the view from 392 was amazing, it looked right over the beach / ocean, we saw dolphins every morning while we had coffee. The beds were comfortable and there were no issues with the room at all, we were a party of 4 adults. They had a small breakfast area in the office with coffee and bear claw pastries, muffins, cereal and juice etc which was a nice touch! I apologize for not getting the names of all of the employees we interacted with, with the exception of Annie, she was there and she was super helpful and very sweet, she makes you feel right at home!We will most definitely be back!
