I loved staying there and noticed that the other guests were as pleased as I was. The rooms were clean and the manager Marlene and front desk ladies Annie and Vanessa were so nice! They were always ready to assist us with anything we needed. Kindness was the word there for me! Even the cleaning ladies and the gentlemen who care for the appearance and cleaning of the other areas of the hotel, pool and even the sand, were nice and approachable too. I am impressed!

I can't say enough great things about this place. Right on the beach! Walking distance to times square, restaurants and shops. Quiet. Rooms were very clean. We had a 2 bedroom the kids loved having their own space and bathroom. Full kitchen outdoor balcony. Honestly it was everything we needed and wanted. They also have beach chairs you can use. Pool was nice and clean. We would stay here again and will if we come back to Fort Myers Beach!

We had a partial beach view and it was very nice. Had construction work due to the hurricane which I totally understand but was a little of annoying because of the noise. The facilities were good as well as the pool and outdoor patio. The staff were accommodating and pleasant. I feel there were a few maintenance items that should be done based on the price of the room.

LOVE THIS PLACE!!! Room was clean and included everything we could have possibly needed. The ovean view was AMAZING and to literally be only steps away from the beach was beyond our expectations. Miss Annie was the most friendly and helpful host I have ever had the pleasure of meeting, and there wasn't a thing she wouldn't do to make sure we had whatever we needed to thoroughly enjoy our stay. 10 out of 10 recommend!!! Beautiful view even for a partial view listing. Location was perfect- walkable to restaurants and right on the beautiful beach. Loved having a washer and dry- even had laundry soap. There is a lot of noise at night from the refrigerator to the a/c units and the road- recommend bringing earplugs if you are a light sleeper. The mattress felt like a pull out sofa mattress, definitely work up with achy joints. Glad it was for only one night. But to be ocean front and great location it’s worth it. Their free breakfast was very welcoming. We enjoyed coffee, juice and the protein bars with yogurts. Made for the morning walks on the beach nice! We didn’t get in the pool but it was small but a nice dip after swimming in the ocean.

Receptionist Annie was the best! Large pretty room with view of the beautiful white sand beach. We didn't need the kitchenette but it would be great if you're staying longer. Easy walk to restaurants and bars via sidewalk or beach.

View was excellent, room was clean. Unfortunately construction right next to property started the week we were there. Also I think that if you book through a third party like Expedia you get the less desirable room—-we ended up having to book an extra day bc our flight as delayed by 12 hours and so it was very obvious that the room we moved to was much much better—more updated—than the one we stayed in for the first four days. Not a big fan of Ft Myers—had zero good meals. The location of our place was great though—away from all of the noise/busyness but close enough to walk.

They are very clean, and spacious with washer & dryer in the apartment. The new pool area is finished and lovely. The Edison also provides beach chairs if you would prefer to sit at beach. The rooms have a partial or full Gulf view. This property has an excellent location right on the beach, next to Times Square, and walking distance to many restaurants and bars. We will be back next year.

The property met all of our needs for a wonderful Florida vacation! It was conveniently located right on the beach, it is well let and clean, has a full kitchen, pool and is situated in the heart of Fot Myers Beach. It isn’t fancy but it is well maintained and reasonably priced. Plus, there is a simple continental breakfast each day. We love staying at the Edison Beach Resort!

Rooms were great, the view from 392 was amazing, it looked right over the beach / ocean, we saw dolphins every morning while we had coffee. The beds were comfortable and there were no issues with the room at all, we were a party of 4 adults. They had a small breakfast area in the office with coffee and bear claw pastries, muffins, cereal and juice etc which was a nice touch! I apologize for not getting the names of all of the employees we interacted with, with the exception of Annie, she was there and she was super helpful and very sweet, she makes you feel right at home!We will most definitely be back! Edison Beach House is literally right on the beach and our suite’s balcony had an amazing view of the sunset. The suite was good size and small kitchen was a nice convenience. Location is walking distance to restaurants and bars which was great. Would definitely stay again when back in the area!

There were cockroaches in the room, I woke up in the middle of the night, turn the light on there they were, on the bathroom floor and living space. It freaked me out; I called the front office the next morning since the reception of the hotel closes at 7pm. The supervisor just brushed it off, she asked me if they were small or big cockroaches, that if they were the big ones, then it came from the palm tree, as if it mattered, no apology whatsoever. the only thing good about my stay was the receptionist, she was great

This property exceeded our expectations! Listed as a partial ocean view, but you could still see so much of the beach and water. We could watch the sunrise in the morning from the balcony and the sunset just a few steps away on the beach. They have a closet full of beach chairs, umbrellas, and pool toys. We just wanted a short weekend getaway from the cold Chicago weather and this was the perfect spot. I will definitely be booking my next stay here when I’m back in Fort Myers Beach.
