The staff made the experience worth it. Friendly and helpful. We loved that the hotel was so close to local shops, bars and restaurants that you can walk to. Restaurants on the hotel were pricey but the food and service was good. Be aware that there is a mandatory hotel fee and a security deposit of up $200 per night.

Upon arrival after 4pm our room was not ready, they switched us to a room that was the first near the elevator which was inconvenient morning/night anyone waiting for it is talking & I had to speak to adults for singing down the hallway at night. At 6am&10pm chairs were being scraped against the floor above us. The room was clean but the fire alarm facing the bed & the green light continually flashes. If you’re a light sleeper or don’t have an eye mask it is troublesome for sleep. Communication on final cost is unclear, I was told there was nothing that would be on my bill after part of the charge dropped except anything charged to my room which was only roughly $40 but was charged all resort fees ($400+), at that time even after asking the staff before hand my bill total. Staff is friendly, the beach is well kept but I’d wear shoes as there are rusted beer caps in the sand & water. It’s a beautiful view, watching the cruise ships come to port & the sunrise is amazing. WiFi horrible.All staff I communicated with were very friendly & helpful. The different options of the water park, pool, beach, or boogie boarding make for a lot of choices of what to do. It’s by the boardwalk are with souvenirs & food. Food at the resort is pricey. $5 for a water. The bakery/coffee shop has great pastries & fruit cups at reasonable prices but the store is not. Ran out of sunscreen it was $35 for a bottle. It is a beautiful island with great people I unfortunately won’t choose here if I return.

Wasn’t too impressed since I had been to the one in Orlando and it was impeccable. Pristine. Property was dirty. Room could be cleaned better. Our feet were black shortly after taking a shower. The place needs a face lift for sure. And expensive!! Like ridiculous expensive!

First checking in the front best was not accommodating, the gal behind the desk seem to hate her job which did not put a good start to our vacation. I even asked about a upgrade and was completely ignored.. the servers on the other hand seem to have a better attitude. This Margaritaville is directed more towards the younger ages more than the adults,wish I would have known this beforehand.... not sure I will continue my trips with any Margaritaville hotels. The water park is packed when the cruise ships move in but after 5:00 people disappear including the businesses closing for the day. Even the hotels Bars close at 5 PM including the adult bar by the adult pool.

Our room was not cleaned daily during our stay. Even though we never placed the ‘Do Not Disturb’ tag on the door, housekeeping did not come inside to tidy the room. Instead, they left coffee, water, and towels in a bag outside the door. For the price and level of service we expected, this was disappointing.

Loved the Margaitaville resort. Best location in Nassau. Short walk to town. Lots of excursions for all walks of life and interests. Nassau is expensive so bring your charge card. Just so you know there is very little night life in Nassau. Most of the shops close about 5pm when the cruise ships leave. The people of the Bahamas are very friendly. If you are planning on renting a car, they drive on the opposite side of the road from the USA. Felt very safe walking the streets. Would go back in a heartbeat.

The fact that my safe was opened and my passports taken along with almost $1100.00 in cash ruined anything nice I could say about the resort. The security could not care less and only until I threatened to call the police did they miraculously find our passports, no money though. Will not be back

Hotel is centrally located near the city and cruise ship port which is a good/bad thing. Fun to watch the ships and easy to walk to things but can get crowded and loud. We stayed at the residences next to the hotel proper which was nice because we had a full apartment with 1 1/2 baths and could go out the ‘back door’ to the neighboring beach when our beach was crowded with day trippers from the ships. The water park attracts families of course so we avoided the area until later in the day when it was quieter. Unfortunately my (grown) daughter broke her foot using the pink water slide because the pool water is only 3 ft deep where it lets out and her foot hit the bottom very hard. She is a very average size person. We filed an incident report and while the staff was nice enough no one really seemed to care. About this or anything else really. She will have to take a LOA from work now. The housekeeping was so so and while our room wasn’t dirty it felt like it needed a thorough cleaning. The beds were way too soft and air conditioning varied between freezing and waking up in a sweat at the same temperature. The restaurant served a decent variety of food at reasonable enough prices and the hamburger was good. The ‘arcade’ is across the street from the hotel so children would need to be escorted i would suggest. Overall, it was an okay place to stay.

The service was sub par at best. We received a packet with a map of the resort, restaurant/bar hours, and events for each day. On 2 different days, the bar on the 4th floor at thE pool was closed when they should have been open. The bar on the first floor outside was also closed one day when it was supposed to be opened. The Feeding Frenzy at the pool was closed one afternoon when it was supposed to be open. My husband and I went to have dinner at Wasabi Joe's restaurant inside the resort and they were closed, even though they were supposed to be open. One morning for breakfast the toaster oven was broken so we couldn't get a hot breakfast. We were told to go to the hotel next door to get breakfast. Every time we asked about bar and restaurant hours at the front desk, we got handed another brochure of the resort and were told to refer to that for hours. I told them I was using all 3 of the brochures I was given for hours listed, yet things were constantly closed. They couldn't give an answer. The pool was out of towels. I asked 3 different people working the resort if they could restock. No luck! We ended bringing out room towels. The pool was supposed to do a 1 hr. spin wheel getting towels. The girl packed up and left 32 minutes in to this. we watched through the elevator window as we were heading down. Several times we were told the bars and restaurants were out of food and or drinks we wanted. Shower hot water was an issue. Waste of money for thousands spent! Never again!

Margaritaville in Nassau was a wonderful experience! The staff were incredibly welcoming and made me feel safe the entire time. The place is beautiful, with stunning views and a relaxing atmosphere. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a perfect getaway!

Overall, the resort was average. It was clean, the staff were very friendly and helpful. The beach was only about 150 yards of walkable beach that runs directly into a public beach with concrete docks so no long walks on the beach. The connected \"partner\" hotel, One Harbour, does not allow you to access their beach unless you are a guest at their hotel. The local shops/restaurants nearby and down Bay Street close around 5 so there is minimal to do outside of the resort. We tried to book a snorkel excursion through the resort, but it was cancelled twice. The resort does charge 25% (10% VAC and 15% gratuity) on everything you buy from them. The waterpark is very nice and kids do love it.

One of the best resorts we’ve stayed at. The staff were friendly, and the dining options were excellent—often better priced than restaurants outside the resort. The property felt safe and offered plenty of entertainment. Gabriel, the manager, was especially welcoming and helpful; when we had an issue, he took care of it right away. I highly recommend!

This hotel was very disappointing overall. Food options were extremely limited and difficult to find, with painfully slow service everywhere. It took two hours to get a pizza, and the prices were exorbitant—you’ll pay an arm and a leg for basic items. The sushi spot located in the hallway charged $30 for a single roll (Nobu-level pricing), yet guests were walking in wearing bathing suits and flip-flops.The location is in a very touristy downtown area with almost nothing to do except shop one main street that’s lined with the same stores repeated over and over.The waterpark was average at best. The tube slides are very narrow and really only suitable for small children. If you do stay here, make sure to book a room on the harbor side with a kitchen. Those rooms have access to a regular pool. The other side only offers access to the waterpark, which was packed every day with large groups from tour buses.We also had a scary incident when my child sliced their hand open on a sharp tile, and the staff couldn’t even provide a simple bandaid.All in all, this place is not worth it. You couldn’t pay me to stay here again.

Margaritaville was a beautiful property. Very clean very comfy and homey. BRING LOTS OF MONEY. Everything is a charge with tax on top. Every meal for my family of 3 was more than $100. Taxi rides are $50 etc. Everything shuts down at 11pm. No vending machines. Beware of local scams. It’s worth an experience though. At least once.

I stayed at One. It was lovely and staff were great but my balcony faced Margaritaville. Non stop noise from 9am until 9pm. The same music blasting on a loop and screeching children. If you are good with that, enjoy. Not me.

To start the booking was messed up not on expedia's end but the hotels, had to buy the first nights stay seperate. Most of the staff are fairly rude and ignore you. When we got the room it was far from clean and there where stains tears and scratches on every piece of furnature. The top droors of the dressers where broken aswell. The shower took 15 minutes to get luke warm and Expect to have to ask for things like towels repeatedly if you want them. And to explain they \"cleaned\" our room and took all the towles, (even tho we had the do not disturb tag on the door) and it was 2 days of \"we will have some one bring them to your room\", before i said no its been two days you can get them for me now. When you sign up you get complimentary wine and berries and it took them 4 days to bring that. And we asked 2 times a day morning and night for them.
The hot tubs are filthy pools the same you will find floating food and algi/mold on the edges of all. In the adult pool there where chicken legs in the bottom for 3 days befor someone thru them out on the ground infront of the hot tub where they remaind untill we left. We did a spa day and got a couple's deep tissue massage, it was far from that you could call it a regular massage at best. The showers in the spa barely worked and again the hottub there was filthy full of sand and black scummy edges. That experience as my wife called it was 455$ be prepaired for that aswell everything is very expensive. May you have better luck than us.

Paid for oceanfront room with kitchenette but room they gave us had neither, complained, moved to another room but still not oceanfront. Had to wait two days to get placed into room we paid for. Additionally, we selected 2 adults and a child for king size bed and the hotel tried to tell us that we selected 2 adults and an infant and that we must upgrade to a bigger room. We had to fight the hotel that they could not dictate who sleeps in our bed.

Otherwise we enjoyed our stay and found most staff to be friendly and helpful.

Stayed here for 4 nights to celebrate my birthday and unfortunately the experience was disappointing.

At check-in, we were told we were “upgraded” due to availability, but the room did not match what I booked (no true ocean view as expected). We were told we we would be moved the next day, but there was little follow-through and I had to track down updates myself. When an alternative was finally offered, I was told the blinds in that room would not open, which was not a reasonable option.

The biggest issue was cleanliness. The bathroom had not been properly cleaned upon arrival, including unsanitary conditions on the toilet. While staff did address it, this should not have happened.

I will say that many of the staff around the resort were friendly and welcoming, but overall the handling of the room situation and lack of communication impacted our stay.

The amenities and private beaches were excellent. Some of the staff interactions however were dubious. It made me rethink coming back. Mark at the front desk, however, was top tier. They need more employees like Mark. He was a highlight of our stay.

The first question I was asked, were you suppose to check out today. When I still had several days left of the trip. I was truly disappointed in the trip.

The facility was pretty clean, did have a couple of things not go well. Our ice machine was broken, we requested for it to be fixed several times but nothing happened. Our bathroom didn’t have hand soap or lotion like the other room. Most hotel personnel attitude was terrible, they were extremely rude. Not sure if my family and I would go there again. Also going outside hotel after dark is extremely not recommended.

Beautiful view from our balcony at the harbour residence side, also quieter and more relaxing! Everything was great, food a bit expensive, infinity pools and hot tubs were nice, beach a bit small but still very nice, with blue aqua clear water! The only thing I wish they had was nightly entertainment! We will be back again!

Cleaning crew was not cleaning at all, just making the bed and it took me 2 days and 2 trips to the front desk to get deliver (abruptly) towels in my room. Also, apparently we got charged somebody’s else meal on our account and we had to leave before it got resolved therefore I will not receive the refund. The room charging system is easy to manipulate for dishonest people.

Overall, our family had a good time at Margaritaville, Nassau, Bahamas. We enjoyed the lazy river, clean beach and food. Some things we found lacking included, basic service that you'd expect at any resort (e.g. toilet paper in your room, towels for a family of four, hair dryer). We also wished there were more affordable food options for young families. Of course we knew this after reading other reviews, but still wish there were more restaurant options. We ended up at the Vacation Cafe and Pizzaria a lot! Their food was good, but service was slow. Other than a few scavenger hunts and bingo for kids, there isn't much entertainment, especially in the evening. Parakeets Kids club was $45 a session (3 hours). Most visitors come off the cruise ship for the morning and are gone by the early afternoon, so the hotel is very packed when the cruise ships come in and then very quiet in the evenings. If you're looking for top notch service and an affordable vacation, Bahamas is not the place to be. People are friendly at Margaritaville, but for the price you're paying, go to Mexico and you'll be happier.

Hot tub was broken all week, never haf room cleaned all week, had to beg for toiletries and new garbage bags from the housekeeping staff directly. Excessive fees and taxes on all purchases, huge deposits required, none of the additional deposits are transparent, they contact you later with an fyi we forgot to tell you about the weekly and daily deposits. Overall terrible service but the hotel is cute and most staff are friendly.
