The room was dirty, like hair and debris/crumbs along the wall and on the floor as well as grime on the walls. The sink and toilet both did not drain/flush. The pillows were paper thin to the point that a pair of them folded and stacked was almost a normal pillow. Not the absolute worst experience I have had at a motel, but when I was not expecting much and still got disappointed, its kinda impressive.

The front desk was friendly, but I was dissappointed with the room. The room is very big, but overall it is in poor situation without repairing. The smell was not very good (probably someone cooked food in the room before my check-in). Bathroom area is in very poor condition, broken or missing necessary items, no cloth hangers, no coffee machine, with random furniture (I guess the desks were bought from yard sale). That being said, the front desk was friendly. If you just want to have a place to sleep, it is fine.

We booked this hotel so we could save money and spend extra on the casinos on the way to OK. I read the reviews after...and hesitated but I had already booked it. WELL, it was nicer than I expected. It is an older building, very vintage, you could tell it was the \"it\" hotel back in the 70's? But a little love was put into it, and they made it into an affordable, decent place to crash out. Nothing fancy. As far as cleanliness goes, we had the 2nd floor...no bugs at all. If anyone did mention roaches....the hotel is surrounded by forested area away from town, there will be bugs trying to get into the first floor at least, but the 2nd floor was perfect. The room reminded me of a guest room in \"grandma's home\" and our sheets were nice and clean. If you don't mind this, you'll be fine. I would book from this hotel again. Also it felt safe, security cameras were constantly monitored by staff. Thank you

i chose this property for the price i received. i anticipated that there might be some cleanliness so i was prepared to NOT take a shower and i brought a flat sheet and pillowcase to sleep in...just in case! it's an old piece of property and i didn't feel unsafe, but it felt dingy inside...the tub looked horrible from general tub stains! the creases around the tub and around the floor boards just looked old and dingy. i slept fine, but i most likely will not be coming back.

Great For Big Family on a Budget

I was by myself so I only needed one bed, I got 3 LOL. Huge room, 2 LG TV's. good wi-fi, close parking, right off highway. Interior is old but OK. I was attending a drag race so wasn't in the room but to sleep. Shower was too small (Ihave a walkin). Bottom line, for me the price was right and it served my needs. I will go back next year.

There was nothing to like about this property. There was no natural ventilation and mould was present throughout especially in the bathroom and around the windows which did not open. The toilet was blocked every time it was flushed with the water rising to the brim - disgusting

Avoid this property like the plague. We were stuck with it simply because everything else was sold for the eclipse. Totally overcharged and we will be demanding a refund

I have no doubt that this was once an excellent hotel. Unfortunately, those days are long gone. The hotel is in a terrible state of disrepair, and an unpleasant odor permeates the room. I had to wash all of my clothes (even those I did not wear) to remove the stench. NOT recommended.

Room didnt smeel well. Water damage all on roof. Power sources are mainly on lamps. No usb hook ups. Toilet was tiny and so close to the wall. Bigger guys have to sit sideways. Safety latch to secure door was broken. Covers didnt seem clean. People smoking weed and seemed like dealing out of hotel. Motel 8 up the street is a 6 dollar diffrence i recommend going there.

I would not have stayed if my wife or any other family members were with me. Cheap hotel around many places to go. That being said there was mold on the ceiling, a strong off putting odor, and cockroaches in/on our microwave that was sitting on the fridge. Couldn’t stay another night and wouldn’t really recommend unless you NEED a place to stay. I prepaid for 3 nights and left after the first one. They were kind enough to give me a refund for the last 2 days that I didn’t stay for though. 4/10.

I was horrified by the reviews of this place and was expecting to have to barricade the door and sleep on my camping gear. I was relieved upon entering, it is not a 5 or even 3 star hotel by any means but in contrary to the other reviews I had a security lock on my door no bad smells and it was clean. The worsts part of my stay was for some reason my Verizon phone service was extremally poor in the room and the hotel wifi did not seem to help.

Definitely was what i was expecting for the price. We had a lamp which didnt really want to work. I realized as we were getting ready to leave that a lightbulb was missing. Most things were plugged into extension cords; lights, fridge, and tv. The bedside table light worked but outlet on it for phones was loose and had issues charging if you werent careful. There were some stains on the ceiling but was able to ignore them. I didnt see a trashcan in the room at all but instead there was some under the stairways outside. The only other issue we had was out od their control due to weather knocking power out for most of the first night. Overall it was a good place to crash after a long busy day.

I'm not sure how old the pictures are, but they did not reflect the room I stayed in. It appears the owners have started to update the rooms, but unfortunately it is like putting lipstick on a pig. Besides being uncomfortable the bed was so low that if felt like I was sleeping on the floor. I was told during check in there was a Renaissance Fair in town so it was no surprise that my room smelled like marijuana. So much so that I woke up with a splitting head ache. Besides having doors that open to the outside the security latch was broken (see picture). I booked this at the last minute because I realized I wouldn't be able to make the drive I intended. Next time I'll just sleep in my car.

The lobby was full of remodeling supplies and had a horrible odor. We did call a day in advance to ask about early check in , was told to check the next day but that if we couldn’t check in early not to worry if we weren’t able to check in until very late (after midnight) We stopped at the hotel the day of our reservation and asked about early check in, wasn’t possible and again were told time of check in wouldn’t matter. At about 6 pm I received a call asking if we were still going to be there . I was lucky to be able to answer the call and I believe had I not answered they would have rented our rooms out.
Rooms were slightly musty smelling , sheets were stained and had holes in them. Bedspread had been “signed” by several prior guests and the pillows were basically useless.

This was easily one of the worst hotels I have ever attempted to stay in. The front desk lady was very nice and reduce my reservation from tonight’s to one. But when I went to my room, there was vagrants it’s out in the parking lot, odd smells of drugs and I was very scared as a single woman by myself. I went into my room, turn the light on and there was no lights. Then I went to lock the door and there was no lock besides the little handlock on the door. There was no chair to put up against the door. It was just an awful place for anybody to have to stay much less a single woman

Based on the price, I wasn't expecting much. We just needed a quick place to sleep and shower. When we first walked in, we were immediately greeted with a strong odor that was a mix between a weird deodorizer and a typical \"old\" smell. The bathroom sink was clogged and wouldn't drain. The door appeared to lock, but did not seem very secure.

Room was disgusting. There was roaches as we walked in. Shower curtain had mold all over it. Bed linen was very disgusting had blood stains and hair all over it. A fingernail tip was on the side of bed I’m guessing from previous guest. Still waiting on manager to call back about my refund. I showed the clerk all the pictures I had and he had nothing to say. This hotel definitely needs a full inspection!

Very dirty, very unkept

The hotel lobby along with its amenities is closed to the public. The exterior looks to not have been tended to for 50 years. It has the look of an abandoned building at first sight. The exterior has not been kept up in any way. The stairs leading to our room had 2 large trash dumpsters with no lids directly underneath, and the smell was strong.
In the room the floor was dirty, with ample debris and a few bugs. The sheets on one bed were stained in several places. One bedside lamp didn’t work. The light in the bathroom didn’t work. There was a hole in the wall in the living area.
If this facility were given a good cleaning and facelift, it might be very nice. In its current state it’s hardly suitable for a stay. We were truly disappointed and won’t be back.
