I stay for two nights, after the first night I asked directly to the housekeeper in the morning to have the room service at my room, when I returned, the room was exactly as I had left it—in other words, they hadn't done the room service. The same day I asked for extra towels at the front desk (10:00 PM approx.) and they told me that they cannot help me with that until the next morning... overall not the best experience.

You get what you pay for I guess? 115$ a night for two queen beds.
They have some folks who are living at the hotel, hanging out on the sidewalks. Found a guy shooting up in a U-Haul truck they permanently left open the two days we were there.
The pool chairs are mostly functioning. Two were aged and broken. Asked for 4 extra towels, because they had no pool towels. They could only give us 3.
The mattresses and sheets are clean with bedbug covers on them.
No blow dryers, cheap toilet paper, one bar of soap by the sink, no shampoo or conditioner bottles. No coffee in the rooms, but they have a single pot at the front office. AC leaked the first night, might have been because of rain the day before? The curtains had something nasty on them.

The guys who worked there seemed helpful. I think it’s family-owned but we only ever saw one at a time.

On the plus side, it is incredibly close to town, restaurants, and the ren faire.

I was given a room that was already occupied. Walked in on a dude in bed. Sec9nd room the door was broken and the key didnt work. The 3rd room was hot and sticky and smelled bad. I ended up driving home instead of staying there.

This property is clean and quiet. It does need a little upgrading like new paint,but it's a good price,the beds aren't bad and it's quiet. Has a laundry, snack/soda machines, and the staff is nice and quick. It a bare minimum hotel which reflects in its price. I'd stay again for faire. Oh and they do except pets with a nice area for them.

This was the most disgusting hotel I’ve ever stayed in. The room was filthy; the sheets were stained; the blanket had cigarette burns; and the pillows were as thin as paper. I actually had to go to Walmart and spend $60 on new pillows, sheets, and blankets just to make it bearable. Absolutely unacceptable for any hotel. Avoid this place at all costs.

First night I got there the towels had stains on them and didn’t notice till I had put them on my body. Then the second day I came back from the racetrack and saw that the door to my room was standing wide open. No housekeeping staff anywhere so not for sure how long it had been opened. The manager can’t be reached until 3 days after I arrive home. I left on the 2nd day of a 3 day stay since the hotel was apparently not a safe place to keep my belongings or possibly myself.

No Coffee/Tea in room, no breakfast items, vending machines only. Requested one more pillow, bed has 3 small pillows..Mgr said he thought the “cleaning ladies already left”..? Got no pillow. Only 1 of 2 wall lights worked, that was only light in main room.TV is not “user able” with remote. Small table under TV, not lit well enough to read or work, without full sunlight and drapes fully open.

I’m really happy with our stay overall. The room had a fully functioning sink, fridge, microwave, tv, ac, and lighting. The shower sprayed water everywhere which made the bathroom floor a big puddle, and the bedding had holes in the comforter. The mattress was stiff but tolerable for a couple days. At one point we could not get into our room and needed the entry card fixed. It was in a quiet area, off the highway with a beautiful view of the sunset. If I’m in the area again I wouldn’t mind having another stay here.

I use a c-pap machine to sleep. The electrical outlets next to the bed only worked if the lights were switched on which obviously defeats the purpose of sleeping. I could not use my breathing machine and therefore could not sleep. HORRIBLE night!!! Plus, the bed was not comfortable. Would never stay here again especially for over $100 for the night!!

I have stayed here a few times before and everything was good. This time however, the bed sheets did not look like they were washed. There were stains on them and long hair all over the sheets. Wash cloth was stained and the shower had terrible water pressure. I could here the persons tv next door because it was so loud and the sound passes through the door that joins the 2 rooms. Supposed to stay there again at the end of the month but after last time, i might find a different place.

We knew what we signed up. Just looking for an inexpensive place to spend the night for 6 hours as we traveled to a tournament so wasnt looking for any special accommodations. However, the linen had hair on some of the pillows, the toilet seat looked like it wasnt wiped down and had urine spots and the bathtub had hair in it. Everything else was acceptable.

The faucet on the bathtub fell off completely while taking a shower. The bathroom was dirty with stains on the walls. The floors for the whole room were dirty along the baseboards and in the corners. The worst thing was the roaches that were crawling around the room.

I left my phone charger and custom neck pillow there and went back at 10am one hour before I checked out and the door was open and the room was cleaned and no one knew what Halle’s to my phone charger and neck pillow. They shouldn’t have cleaned the room before I checked out.

Tried to watch TV at 9pm before bed. TV came on but could not turn to a station or movie. Reported it. Front desk came over with another control but still nothing. Said he would make a call to his maintenance person. Called front desk back at 10:45 and he offered finally to change rooms but was too late for me to want to repack and carry everything to new room. clean room but poor service.

I booked a king, non smoking. I had my service dog and he said that only rooms with double beds can be used, so he gave me that room. I checked in and found that it was a smoking room. He said that his manager said that anyone with a pet (I have a service dog), must go into a double, smoking room. After going back to the counter a third time (this was 12:30 AM), he finally came up with the room I had originally booked. Room was comfortable, but run down.
The bedding was stained and had holes.

This hotel was cheap, but the old adage “you get what you pay for”!rang true. There was no shampoo un the room. When I called and asked about shampoo I was told they didn’t provide that. I went to the front desk, and they did have some to give me though. The staff isn’t very friendly nor do they speak much English. The morning after I checked in I woke up to roaches on the floor. They moved me to a cleaner, updated room. The next two nights were bug-free. It was quiet there even though I was right next to the highway.

I wish the pictures when looking at motels would show how old the place really is. As clean as a building that old can be and the guy at the front desk was very nice. The landscaping needs some work, the parking lot was dark and I guess I might be picky but I haven’t stayed anywhere in a very long time that didn’t have shampoo and body wash for guests

Clean room. Bright parking lot when we returned late at night. Some guy was hanging around during the day but seemed pretty harmless. Kind of difficult to find the exit and where to enter. The toilet didn’t flush well but just needed help to fill up the tank. But needed a room for the night worked out well.

All good but the TV sucks!

You get what you pay for, it was a decent hotel for the price. The TV was the worst though. I assume folks are using this hotel as a longer term stay or they get stuff stolen from here, but the TV had this built in type box to ensure they TV stayed with the room... downside, on the HIGHEST volume setting of 90... yes, 90... it sounded like it was in a box... and couldn't hear most of the conversation especially when AC was on... which, it's Texas, of course it's always running. Other than that, it was a decent stay for the cost.

The staff were friendly and courteous and checked me in and out very quickly.

The sink was extra large and the tap extended over to the center of the sink, making it very easy to get your hands under the stream of water. The bathroom countertop is about 6 feet long.

The table and countertop surfaces, bathroom, and floor were clean, but the bottom half of the walls was grubby. The bed had plenty of sheets and blankets, but the fitted sheet was worn in several spots.

As a single female, I didn't feel safe going outside in the evening.

Parking is limited if you have a vehicle that is 21 feet or longer.

The motel provides free coffee in the morning but no breakfast.

I’d rather sleep in my car

I booked a room with a king bed for one night and checked in around 7pm. When I got into the room it smelled like something had died . There was no king bed, it had two double beds instead. The beds were uncomfortable, just a thin mattress on a piece of wood, no box springs. The tv was mounted on a piece of rotten wood and attached to the wall. I turned the AC on and opened the door to air the room out for a few minutes but that didn’t help the odor problem. I opened the fridge and immediately discovered the source of the smell. Someone left food in it and unplugged it. The food was covered in mold so I set it outside far away from my room and plugged the fridge back in. The fridge never got cold and it made loud noises all night. I went to sleep and woke up a few hours later to use the restroom, when I turned on the lights hundreds of roaches were all over the bathroom. I was hoping to sleep in but I couldn’t get back to sleep due to the loud fridge and bright led outside my window. I layed there until about 5am and decided to leave. Went to front desk to complain and check out but nobody was there. A phone number was taped to the locked door so I called several times but no answer. I waited 30 minutes and just left. Horrible and disgusting place!!

I really like this place if I need something They find a way to accommodate me. It’s a budget friendly but most budget friendly places are sticky floor and nasty. This place is very clean safe and the staff is pleasant. Highly recommend. I’ve stated other Motel sixes nothing has compared they’re good.
