I haven't stayed in a motel since the 1900's but I was pleasantly surprised. It was clean, cute, very well located, reasonable price, and has the necessities if no extras. I will look at Super's again in the future, based on this pleasant experience!

I-35 frontage road, and drive in lane to the Motel was not easy..miss it, and you drive one-way @ 2 miles farther, to turn around, come back and try again. Not Super 8’s fault.

The lady at the front desk was amazing, friendly and very helpful despite Expedia messing up my stay. The property overall was ok. My concern was that the outside door did not lock so anyone could go in without a key. There was a lot of lightning but it turns off around 6am and after that it felt scary. There was also a guy smoking weed right outside the said door, but I think he was a hotel guest too. No C-Stores conveniently located so if you’re staying here, gas up & take whatever you’ll need. It was a good place to get some quick rest while we continued w our trip.

I don’t know how this has anywhere near a high 7 or 8 on Expedia. Let’s start with staff. Went down as breakfast was ending and there was this guy with headphones on cleaning and I asked him three times if I could get a plastic spoon for the yogurt. I took it to my room and forgot the spoon. I had to ask 3 times because he was just staring at me a smiling while I asked the first two times before he removed his headphones. He then said they have no spoons. There were literally spoons out there 5 minutes before. Also the breakfast shouldn’t even be noted. Tiny storage closet with two long tables and zero breakfast options. Check in took forever because the guy was on the phone. The bathroom was dirty and the tub is peeling. The chair in the room had stains all over it. The floor was sticky like someone spilled soda all over it and used a dirty mop to clean it up. The fridge was broken. The AC you had to turn on the fan to run all night because the auto button didn’t work. The side exits didn’t close all the way so you could come in and out of them without a key. No elevator. I paid 110.00 for this. I wouldn’t stay here for 25.00. Avoid this place.

There was no freezer in my refrigerator and the reply from the front desk was none of the rooms had one. There was a beetle in my room and when I asked the front desk she said all the rooms had them. My room seemed clean enough on the surface, but when I looked closer it was not. Remnants of dead bugs in the dresser drawers, next to the refrigerator and in almost in every corner of my room including under the air conditioning unit. As I further inspected the room the poor workmanship was glaringly obvious. Would never stay here here again

They put the two night stay onto my credit card I used to secure the rooms after only the first nights stay. The charges sat in pending but that is not the point. That was not the card that was to be used when checking out. Also, when checking the invoice was not broken down, it was just a total of the two day stay. The total two day stay went through on my card and one of the single charges sitting in pending dropped off, as it should have. The second single day stay sat in pending for a week. Not acceptable and totally disappointing.

Not sure why this hotel had such a high rating, their friends and family must have rated it. The hotel was renovated but just on the surface. It was one of the dirtest hotels I've ever stayed in. The beds were itchy and the coverlet looked like it had never been washed. We itched all night, I don't know what they wash their sheets in but it should be recalled by the manufacturer. I'm attaching pictures of the mattresses...they need to be burned.

It was ok for one night but really sad we had to pay so much for such a mediocre hotel. Coming from Denton I was shocked at the quality for the amount we paid. I could have paid that much and staying in a 4 star hotel in Denton. I guess maybe it’s because there are not a lot of hotels in the area which is really unfortunate. I am hoping we never have to stay there again for that price.

It was affordable and very clean. Nice room design. The only two reasons this place wasn't at the highest rating was because some remodeling was still being completed in the bathroom and the bed was extremely firm...stiff firm but clean and it served its purpose but personally just too firm. Outside of those two things, this was an unexpectedly surprising experience and has been added to our favorite places when in the area. We'll definitely be back.

I stayed over a few days. My original room had a few issues but when i spoke to them about them, they promptly moved me to a different room. Bed was not the most comfortable to me. It wasnt bad, just could have been better for me personally.

The bathroom was not clean. There was dirt on the floor. Sheets had stains on them. One of the beds made noise any time you moved on it. The roof had water damage in the room. Definitely not worth what I paid for the room. Lots of doors slamming and people yelling throughout the night. Would not stay here again. Front desk called the room at 10am to tell us to check out. Check out is at 11. I get courtesy calls but seemed like they were rushing us to Leave since the maids were already cleaning rooms on our floor.

The smell in the room was so horrendous that I wanted to vomit every time we entered the room. We believe it was from mold in the air conditioner and it seemed to get worse. The ac would also make a loud engraving type noise randomly throughout the night waking us up. We booked for 4 people in the room and only had 3 towels the first night and 2 the second. The floor was not level abs the \"remodel\" seemed to be cheaply done and without paying attention to details. There was paint all over the baseboards, paint pealing from the shower, a mismatched toilet (the top was almond and the bar white), and holes in the wall from an incorrect placement for the towel rack. The breakfast room only sat 6 people and you could choose from packaged muffins, waffles, yogurt, or instant oatmeal. Although we didn't use it, the guest laundry consisted of 1 washer and 1 dryer. There wasn't an elevator and the pool was concrete in. We were on the second floor so we had to carry our luggage up and down the stairs, but being on the first floor would have meant hearing upstairs neighbors since the floors were thin. Check-in was quick and the lady was nice, but it was downhill from there. When checking out I informed the gentleman at the front desk about the room issues and he didn't seem to care. We were in room 214, but we heard another person had the same issue with her room smelling. We will never stay at this hotel again nor any other motel 6. We will budget more for a hotel or not go.
