This is a small boutique hotel, centrally located to shopping and dining areas. You need a taxi to get towards the Danube River area, around 15 minutes. We chose their breakfast option since we only stayed overnight and that was a good choice. The floor in the room was hardwood. The bed and pillows were comfortable.

I was very pleased with my time at the Peterstor. It was a short walk from the train station and easy to walk to. This also made it convenient for day trips on the train. The front desk staff was very welcoming. The breakfast buffet was very good and remained well stocked all the way through breakfast 7-10. There were many great restaurants and shopping close by. The city had great history and museums and other historical places were a pleasure to visit. I would go back to Regensburg and certainly stay at this hotel.

First, the location: it's perfect! Very close to the train station, the bus \"center\", and the Old Town, truly amazing! The welcome was superb, with smiles and happiness to have me there! Wow! Bettina was the best! My single room was quite adequate in size, but the walls were a bit thin; not a real problem considering most of the guests were older and not \"in party mode!\" Bathroom was quite adequate. A great stay - which started with a glass of beer, and a bottle of bubbly waiting for me in my room! YEH!

Was told we could also have a complimentary bottle or red wine. Our silver status said we would get this benefit anyway.
The lady I dealt with said she would be back at 7AM to get it straightened out.We had our welcome drink but the large lady said we could not have the bottle of red wine as promised so we reluctantly took the white. I asked for ice and she said they had no ice.Of course, she wasn’t there. A gentlemen had our bags moved and we were in our suite by noon.
Went for the 2 nd welcome drink as promised, the large lady accused me of trying to sneak a second drink. She was rude but gave us one. Again no ice. I asked the younger man about ice, he said sure we have it, ask receptionist, The large lady said no ice.

I enjoyed my stay immensely! The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. Shout out to the kitchen personnel who took care of the crowded masses for breakfast and did so with a genuine smile and grace, including an offer of Champagne for breakfast and Gluehwein (small charge) while staff are at the front desk. Front desk staff made checking in and out a breeze. The room was comfortable, as was the bed. The shower was great with plenty of hot water. The location is spot on for walking to the main sites. Good eateries near by and loads of shopping opportunities. Will definitely stay here again should I return to this adorable town.

The room is a bit small for 3 persons but otherwise comfy. and clean. On street parking is available around the Hotel and is free after 7 pm weekdays and whole day Sunday but availability is hit and miss. Alternatively there is a multi-storey public carpark at the back of the hotel which charges EUR 11 for 24 hours but you can get a ticket for EUR 9 only from the hotel. The sightseeing attractions are within walking distance of the hotel and it's best to see them on foot.

The hotel is conveniently located in walking distance to excellent restaurants, the train station and the historic area. The staff was helpful and breakfast was excellent. Our only complaint is that our room faced from the front of the hotel and was across the street from a bar that created loud noise from smokers outside until past 2AM. We could probably have requested a move if we were staying more than three nights.

The hotel is located adjacent to the Schloss (castle) on the edge of the city. Recognizing that Regensburg is a world historical site, the hotel is quaint and room is small for two people. The location is great to avoid tour groups and other pedestrian traffic. Parking is available (at no cost) on the parking deck located around the corner from the hotel. If driving, be aware that construction in the area of the hotel during our visit (Oct 2019) resulted in several street closings. Breakfast was included and was offered a wide variety.

Possibly our fault for not enquiring about it. And the shower was blocked leaked water everywhere. However when we told the staff they were grateful to know about it

Wonderful hotel close to the train station (easy walk) and all of the sites. The breakfast is fabulous. Finally, I have found a hotel that can actually make delicious scrambled eggs. I also enjoyed the traditional German breakfast foods. The room was large and super clean. The staff is so friendly. They ask if you want a beer when you arrive and give you a take away seltzer water. They were very interested in knowing if everything was fine. I was very happy to tell them exactly how wonderful I think their hotel truly made my stay in beautiful Regensburg.

Breakfast is very good. Employees seem to care about your stay. Only a couple negatives: No minibar, but they provide one free bottle of water upon check in. Can buy additional bottles of water at front desk for 1 Euro each. But, front desk not open 24 hours. Rooms and shower are kind of small, even so, they appear to have been updated.

Shower was very restricting, couldn't lean over to wash my feet. One night yelling ruffians for hours outside in the street contributed to poor sleep. If I were to stay again I would insist on the back of the hotel.

Vorab, die Zimmer sind sauber und funktionell. Es sind die Details, die den Eindruck erheblich trüben. Jeder Gast bekommt beim Check-in eine leere Flasche zum Selbstbefüllen an einem Wasserspender. Eine zweite Flasche wird nur widerwillig ausgehändigt. Der Wasserspender ist abends nicht mehr zugänglich. Man fragt sich wirklich, warum. Die Klimaanlage schaltet sich nach 2 Std. automatisch ab - nachts wacht man schweissgebadet auf und muss die Klimaanlage ( ohne Fernbedienung) wieder einschalten. Am Frühstücksbuffet sind viel zu wenig Kaffeetassen, Gläser und Besteck vorrätig. Es sind nur zwei langsame Kaffeeautomaten vorhanden, sodass sich an der hbehin winzigen Frühstücksecke lange Schlangen bilden. In Anbetracht des gehobenen Preisniveaus ist die Erwartung einfach höher.
Nicht in der Verantwortung des Hotels liegt das Problem mit den straßenseitigen Zimmern. Die Lärmbelästigung durch Autoposer und andere Lärmliebhaber ist Nachts enorm. Darauf sollte jeder bei einer Zimmerreservierung achten.

Vreemd genoeg is loopafstand van het station ook een nadeel omdat je geen taxi neemt en daardoor 20 minuten met je koffers zeult; prijs-kwaliteit prima; vriendelijk personeel; toen ik om 21 uur zou arriveren kreeg ik instructie voor sleutelkastje maar uiteindelijk bleek de dame toch nog aanwezig

Het was buiten erg warm. De airco sloeg steeds na zo'n twee uurtjes uit dan werd het bloedheet in de kamer. Moest hem 's nacht opnieuw aanzetten. Leek of er een tijdslot op zat. Volgens receptioniste was het tewarm voor het systeem.

Sehr schönes Zimmer mit sehr freundlichem Personal. Leider war das Dreibettzimmer etwas klein für meinen Rollstuhl. Die Tür in das Bad war zu smal und die Tür ins Zimmer hat eine Schwelle..Mit Hilfe aber kein Problem. Kleine Rampen wären nicht schlecht.
