The room was good, i recommend better pillows and a different toilet that actually flush faster. The shower has a weird handles that is difficult to operate at first. The cable TV is of low quality, the imege is poor, a better cable quality is recommended.

This is our “go to” hotel when we go to the San Jose area. They’re like a 2nd family now. Any issues I might have with the room are addressed in a timely manner. All of the staff is very friendly and helpful. We feel safe there.

I just stayed for one day but will return. The room was spacious and clean with AC and comfortable bed. Excellent mountain view! There’s a really nice pool also. There’s a very famous pizza restaurant at the property so perhaps at night could get a bit loud, but it’s low noise so I didn’t mind. The staff is incredibly friendly and professional. Got to meet the owner also so that was a plus😀

Staying at Luisiana is like flying low cost.
Upon arrival there was no one able to help bring the luggage to my rm on 3rd floor, i was alone with my young son and it was pretty challenging dealing with all.
In our room there was a safety box but they had no key or code for it.
Towels were not enough.

-Gave a 73 year old \"mayor de edad\" a room on a 3rd floor WALKUP. Ivan the manager refused to change to a lower floor unless i paid an addtl $250 !

Fine for a cheap shopping trip to SJ, but not in a great area, and very basic accom. The discount was presented at 75% off. Marketing scam only. The $50 room is indeed a $50 room. Staff was great. Our meal in their pizza restaurant cost more than the room, but we were not going to walk anywhere to find a more affordable option.

Its very expensive compared to other places. I thought breakfast was included and it was not. I paid 60 sixty dollars for two small breakfasts. I couldn't belief that 2 slices of toast, 2 scrambled eggs and 1 sausage for 25 dollars, the orange juice and coffee were charged separately.

Also the room (and other rooms in the vicinity as our friends were across from us) was located near the A/C system for the building, so although we had the A/C off during the night there was continuous noise w units turning on and off with loud metallic banging. When we asked to change rooms they claimed they had nothing to offer….

It is motel with basic room. Small windows. Four of the 6 lights in the room didnt work. No head board. Just sement wall to rest on. There is a deposite to enter the room. I was told their car for the aiport was $40 to $45 when the uber was only $10.

One of the beds in the room the springs were broken and hitting the platform under it. The air conditioning wasn’t adjustable only one fan speed, toilet paper holder was broken. Cheap pillows, we have stayed at this property before several times and it’s showing decline. They are always working on the pool and always there’s construction. No noise limitations we had to take a handicap room that was off the pool and people talked in and conversation all night long. The only thing going for this place is the location in Santa Anna is pretty good. The staff also seem not to care anymore. I think that’s our last stay at hotel Louisiana although we’ve been going there for over 10 years.

We have stayed here many times but this was not a good one. We checked in with lovely staff but they didn't show us where our room was so we had to go back to reception to find out where it was. We usually stay in rooms with queen or king beds but were trying to save a bit of money so got a room with a double bed. The bed was so hard that it hurt my back and I tossed and turned all night trying to get comfortable. Towels need upgrading as they were small and rough and 2 extra ones would have been nice. All was clean and check out was a breeeze. Moral of the story..if you stay here get a room with king or queen beds in the building attached to reception.

This is the worst hotel I've stayed in my life, it's a complete scam for the price they charge, and the attention is disastrous including that of the administrator because she wants to charge you even for the information she gives you, the beds are super uncomfortable and hard You wake up with terrible back pain and they put a jug of coffee in reception for all the hotel guests, that's very ridiculous because they can't even give you that well because it's coffee from the day before.

Post COVID they missed the mark in customer service and trying to nickel and dime you on everything including morning coffee. However, after not staying here in a year they seem to have corrected past deficiencies and is a great value if your staying in the Santa Ana area.

We arrived at SJO in the late evening and booked a room. We were greeted by a lovely host and our room was perfect. We enjoyed our short stay and would recommend this to anyone needing a place in San Jose.

Lovely private and quiet place, but obvious broken window lock and broken door lock were a bit alarming rendering the room completely insecure. Also no access to room safe. When questioned, the Office said, 'gee, sorry.' No followup. Also no hand towels. Sadly, no breakfast, but we were already aware of that.

The staff's professional and friendly manner is most definitely a plus for this hotel. They also speak very good English, but they always appreciate if we can speak a little Spanish. I also enjoyed the shower which was hot and powerful.
The hotel is very basic absolutely no frills. The beds are soft and sheets are gray as opposed to white. Unfortunately I would not stay in this hotel again. I would rather pay the extra and stay somewhere else.

The place is not in a good shape at all, the rooms are smelly and the staff is incompetent, arrogant and ignorant. For three years in a row they don’t get their hot water problem fixed. A hot shower is impossible there. They don’t accept Visa Debit Card but require two pieces of ID. I had to make a 60$ cash deposit and at check out they didn’t want to return it because the towels were dirty
