The room is clean. The toilet seat was broken the entire time but never fixed it! The room is a little loud from the outside noise.

This place was awesome and very historic with a modern vibe (marble floors in entry way)!! The iconic pizza place from the movie Eat, Pray, Love (L'Antica Pizzeria da Michele) is right across the street. Also, This stay is very close to many other restaurants and has a lot of action for “people watching” while on your beautiful balconies. The staff is amazing as well. The room keys were actually skeleton keys so neat. There is security on site as well. I love it here and will stay again!

Nice small hotel/B&B in a fantastic location. The couple of staff I met were very nice. Room was clean and had everything required and was actually quite large. Bathroom was a good size also with a fantastic shower. Close to everything in the historic centre of Naples and only a few minutes walk from the train station.

We stayed a night while travelling from Rome to the Amalfi Coast. Check in was a bit confusing, but we did get a room upgrade as the shower in ours was broken. Bed was comfortable and it had the famous pizza place right across the road which was a plus.

They had advertised that there was air conditioning but failed to inform us that it is not active all year.

As a result, we had to open the windows in the evening which allowed mosquitos/bugs to come in the room and it was also very noisy which made it difficult to sleep

We booked this apartment for one night as had been staying in sorrento and our flight was next day from naples airport. Very clean comfortable and great location for shops and restaurants. The owners kept in touch and were there to greet us at apartment. They also organised our taxi to the airport. The apartment was very clean and had a lovely bathroom with walk in shower.

Cheap option in covenient centre, across road from San Michele pizzeria. The window towards outside doesn’t close properly so sound gets in very easily. Shower head water sprays everywhere. Internet slow. Staff friendly enough. Doesn’t really speak English.

The property is located inside a building off of a busy street. Staff informed my ahead of time the building was under renovation and that the balcony would not be accessible. Upon arrival, staff were very pleasant and communicative. A staff member was present each of the three days I was there. Overall, I would stay again because the location was perfect for getting to the train station easily, access to fresh fruit market, and several restaurants. Everything worked well except for the shower head that sprayed water out onto the bathroom floor. Coffee pods were available outside the room. I was told breakfast was not available due to COVID.

Thank goodness we only stayed one night. On a positive note, the room was close to public transportation, was located across the street from a famous pizza place, and the host reached out to us prior to our visit to coordinate our stay.

That's where our good experience ends. One of the reasons we chose this place was because of the outdoor seating on a private balcony. We arrived only to find the building wrapped in scaffolding which blocked the balcony and construction debris was everywhere. Outside the building we found cockroaches scampering from the building. That convenient location I mentioned also included quick access to the red light district where hookers were offering their services and another nearby road where even my husband said he wouldnt enter. Bums, drug dealers, drunks, and police officers were everywhere. Very sketchy. The host was no where to be found after check in. There was no air conditioning. There was no breakfast either because of Covid, a practice which the rest of the city and world for that matter seems to have figured it out at this point. The transfer the hotel coordinated for us from the train station cost us 25 euro to go about 1 mile. As a host, they have a responsibility to protect their guests from rip offs.

Needless to say, we wouldnt stay there again. The best part of the stay was the fast drying blow dryer.

Horrible. Never got an arrival instruction email. There is no sign to the hotel. Asked a restaurant nearby & they helped ring the bell on the wall, it had an extremely small faded sign along with other tenant names. No one opened the door, kept ringing, nothing. Called their phone number nothing.

Finally followed a delivery guy into the complex and again, no sign or instructions on how to get to the B&B. Staircase on the left and right, no idea where to go. Called the phone number again. Nothing. After some time a guy walks into the lobby and looks at our staircase & asks check in Durmi? Followed him up to the 2nd floor on the lift on the left.

Got the keys but wasn't given any info regarding check out & breakfast. Room is dim, scratch marks along the wall, painting has fallen down & placed in a corner. Toilet flush broken. Sink drain broken & doesn't move when I adjust the switch behind faucet. Shower handle broke off when I tried to adjust it, overhead shower is 80% blocked & leaking. Shower door can't be closed properly, so the floor is all wet. WiFi very slow. Room was warm at 26c. Aircon wasn't working. I whatsapped their number and someone said they'll fix the ac. They didn't. Other WhatsApp number, no one responded but blue ticks. Was told to get the Fan in the lobby. They emailed me that there is construction work, I asked what time work begins, told me 9am, few hours after the free cancellation. Drilling & hammering started at 0740.

Considered to leave early.

Only there for one night. Good: Directly across the street from one of the best (if not the best) pizzerias in all of Naples - L'Antica Pizzeria da Michele. Walking distance from a lot of other great restaurants and cafes, as well as from the main train station and airport bus stop. Not so good: building looks abandoned, door buzzer doesn't work, if we hadn't been able to track someone down inside the building to help us I don't know how we would have found the apartment. Also, if we'd arrived after hours when the main door to the building was locked, I don't know how we would have gotten in. Building facade was also under repair when we arrived, couldn't use the balcony. Bathroom had an unpleasant smell.

There was construction work done outside when we got there so we couldn't enjoy the balcony as the pictures would depict. We couldn't also open too much the windows since the construction workers were just outside, and the room would be a bit stuffy because of it. They also work early so if you are not an early birdy, it could be a bit annoying to be waken up by them screaming outside. The room was very clean though, they also had a common area where you can use the fridge and the laundry machine.
That was very practical! I would have liked to have some hooks in the bathroom to hang the towels though.

We were just outside that pizza place that has a Michelin star (L'Antica Pizzeria da Michele). So if you saw Eat Pray Love with Julia Roberts, you'll recognize the place! Overall, it's a good location!

Antonio made us feel very welcome and gave us lots of tips on travelling around the area. Room very clean and spacious. Fantastic bathroom. Kitchenette facilities available but we didn't use these. Didn't hear any street noise. Couple of restaurants below. Good location.

Great for solo travelers

This place is conveniently located and within walking distance of many points of interest. It is not a conventional hotel. It is an apartment building where some units have been turned into Airbnb type accommodations. That being said, the building is very secure and quiet. There are restaurants right outside of the building. The host (Antonio) was incredibly helpful and pleasant.

The B&B is a great place to stay in Naples centre, close to historic centre and to piazza garibaldi. Antonio and Francesca were helpful and communication was straightforward. Convenient location right across from Pizzeria da Michele, one of the pizza places you’ll want to try while in Naples. Walkable from train station with luggage. Clean and comfortable room with modern shower, but in a pretty run down building (I think this true of most of Naples, however.) A little confusing to find at first since it’s locsted within a larger building, but makes sense once you’re there. Pleasant staff. Only has a few rooms, and has an Air B&B feel.

As usual with urban B&Bs, there was no staff available most of the time. The antique door locks they use are excessively complicated, and can be quite bewildering to non-Italian travelers. I wasted some twenty minutes the first time I tried to open the front door on my own, and there was no one around who would help.

The property was located in an easy location to walk to the train station and the colorful neighborhoods of Naples. It was right above (across the street) from the oldest pizza place in Naples, along with other great little restaurants and the oldest gelato right down the street. If you do the free Rick Steves audiotour, it ends right here, so that was a nice surprise. The place is fine if all you will do is sleep there. It was very clean and had a great shower. It is very small with little storage. We weren’t able to use the terrace because of construction on the building. Breakfast was very basic and the first morning, very confusing. The attendant was nowhere to be found, so it was unclear whether it was self-serve or not and finding supplies to make coffee was impossible until she returned. The fare was croissants, cakes, toast, yogurt, and a couple of cereals. After the first morning, the attendant was there and was very helpful and sweet. They don’t do daily cleaning, which was fine with us, but asked if we needed clean towels or supplies. The building is pretty run down, but I think that may be true of a lot of buildings in Naples. Our stay was fine, but not really what we expected.

I had a wonderful stay here in Naples. The room was clean and quite spacious. The staff was very warm and welcoming. The location of the place was very close to Pizzeria Da Michele which was a plus. My room also has a balcony so I was able to sit outside and enjoy the view. All in all, this made my trip to southern Italy very enjoyable and memorable.

We had a great stay at A Durmi, and Antonio was so friendly and helpful - we hope you enjoy London when you go to the UK! The accommodation was very central, and it was an easy walk to the main streets. Right across the road is an amazing pizza place (they're all amazing pizza places, but the one across the way was the best). The room and bathroom was clean and tidy, and bed was comfortable. Breakfast was also very good. Great value, and really recommend.

Pleasant and good value B&B in excellent location

This is a B&B with four rooms in a large town house. Location is excellent. It's opposite the famous pizzeria Da Michele just on the edge of the centro historico and is 10 minutes walk to Stazione Centrale and 15 to Molo Beverello for the ferries. Rooms are basic but large enough and the bathrooms are new. One is never far from car horns in Naples but I had no problem sleeping. Antonio, who seems to do everything, is very helpful and knows everything that you need to know. Prices are very reasonable.

A Durmi was located in a great spot in Naples. Very close to the famous Michele pizzeria. Our room had a nice balcony over looking the streets and the pizzeria. Antonio and Antonella were extremely friendly and welcoming. They were also very helpful answering questions about the city and getting around. I would definitely recommend this B&B and stay here again if I return!

I absolutely loved my stay with A Durmi. I would say that, overall, it was the best experience I had in Italy. It is a cozy environment, and Antonio made me feel like home from the moment we met. The room was clean and the bathroom was very modern. Plenty of TV channels (I stayed at hotels with bad TV reception or only 1 channel)...a more than decent breakfast in the morning, with fresh fruit, juices, coffee, and traditional Neapolitan sweets; other options were available as well. Antonio made breakfast fun, we chatted about everything and he gave me the best tips of where to eat in town (his rec. for pizza places were the best...). The location was also great, a 10 minute walk from the train station and from city center, as well as right across from the famous Da Michele pizzeria. I highly recommend A Durmi for a lovely stay in Napoli. I will definitely stay with them the next time I am in Napoli.

We were very pleased with our stay . The owners and staff were very helpful . We had a slight problem with our bed and the t.v.had problems due to a storm , they were fixed immediately . Anytime you were hungry or thirsty just help yourself in the kitchen , beer,wine,yoghurts,fruit,etc . Very impressed . Only drawback , no lampshades !!

It’s close to the Duomo and the famous Pizzeria da Michele. There are lots of cafes and shops nearby. It’s a small property so don’t expect any frills. The breakfast is mainly self-service and has a limited range. The rooms are small and the shower stall leaks with the water seeping through the door and soaking the bath mat. The lone staff member was quite nice and helpful.

OK you might get a little scared when you first walk into the building where the B&B is located. Many B&Bs are located in hotel buildings and then you go to the floor where your B&B is located. This little gem is very comfortable. The owner, Antonio could not have been nicer.

Great location for exploring Naples

This is a nice apartment in agood area for both the railway station and for exploring the old part of Naples. The host greeting was very friendly and informative. The accommodation is a three bedroom apartment with a breakfast room with balcony and a kitchen which guests can use. The accommodation is in a historic building and clean with good WiFi connection and I would happily stay again if in Naples.

Unique historic building within walking distance to Piazza Garibaldi bus station and Centrico Storica. Across the street from the famous Da Michele pizzeria. Antonio was a very knowledgeable and helpful owner of our B&B and gave us many tips on what to see in downtown Naples. Good breakfast was also provided.

A little gem!

We stayed in Naples and at a Durmi for three nights. We really enjoyed our stay. The room was very spacious and clean, very nice bathroom and a balcony with a nice view. The room was cleaned daily. The breakfast offered variety of some delicious cakes and croissants, bread/toast and jams, fruit, yogurt and coffees/teas prepared by Antonio, one of the owners. The area is quite central and 10 mins walk to the historical center which is lovely with its cobbled streets, old buildings, small shops, pizzerias and trattorias. Antonio made us feel very welcomed and at home from the very beginning. He was very accommodating, helping us with arrangement of a tour we had planned but also giving us useful tips for the city's sightseeing. He was lovely, discreet, friendly and approachable and we really enjoyed our chats! We will definitely stay here again if and when we visit Naples in the future!

Our host was very welcoming and we enjoyed our stay in a clean, spacious and safe room that is close to the train station and the city’s old quarter (with all of the delicious street food)! Pizza de Michele is steps away from the apartment. Bathroom in our room was big, clean and good hot water/water pressure. This place was a quiet retreat in the middle of a bustling city!

Great little b&b close to central station

What a find! Such a great little b&b close to central station. Antonio was so welcoming and friendly and couldn’t do enough to help. The room was spotless and modern, and there was a stocked up kitchen to use as and when. Would highly recommend this place.

Clean and spacious room close to station

My stay at this hotel was great. Very spacious, clean room and comfortable.
The owner Antonio was very kind and helpful. My flight arrived early morning but the room was ready sooner than I expected.
He gave a good information around the city to visit, and always helpful.
The location is very close to train station, so very convenient to go to Pompei, etc...
Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Charmingly new apartment-hotel

A Durmi is housed in an apartment within a charmingly classic Neopolitan apartment building. The building is off Corso Umberto, the main vehicular thoroughfare of downtown Naples and the southern boundary of the Centro Storico. Thus, the surrounding area is safer than others in the Centro Storico (though mind yourself along Via Vicaria Vecchia at night). As a plus, both Pizza Trianon, Gelato al Nord, and Pizzeria da Michele are down the block.

The lobby is grand with an endearingly ancient elevator that can just fit two people and their luggage. The accommodations are simple but clean, the staff is professional and courteous, and breakfast is self-serve, ample, and met all of my needs. Each \"hotel room\" is actually a converted room within a larger multi-room apartment, which is entered from the main hallway in the building (and there are keys for both the main apartment and your own room). The bathroom are particularly stylish and well-done. For the nightly cost, A Durmi is a wonderful value.

Cute hotel close to Train Station

This cute hotel is close enough to Naples Train Station, about 10mins walk but be very mindful of pick pockets when walking around. Very close to Pizzeria de' Michelle one of the famous and oldest pizzeria in Naples. I was just disappointed in my room, I was given a different room than I booked. I was a solo traveller and I booked 1 queen bed with my own balcony, when I arrived I was given a room with 2 twin and no balcony. Since I was too tired from my Trip from Rome I just decided to rest for the day. The room was clean and the bathroom was spotless. The fridge in the common dining area was packed with salami other goodies.

Great Deal

I was actually surprised considering the price of this hotel how new it was, clean the rooms were, and helpful and responsive the front desk person was. Plus it is in a great location right off the main street and by some of the best pizzerias in the world. It's a little hard to find at first, but a simple phone call will get you right there if you were lost like me. Highly recommended!

Nice spot in Naples

Pros:
- staff was extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the city and tourist attractions
- room was comfortable, well decorated and clean
- hotel was close to the train station, tourist spots and good local food
- breakfast was tasty and had a decent variety

Cons:
- the room was not well soundproof and you can constantly hear traffic sounds, other guests and misc noise.
- finding the hotel can be difficult because of a lack of clear signs (though they do give you fairly good directions)

Overall, good hotel for the price

Didn’t meet our expectations

The “hotel” does not look like the pictures represented and it feels more like a hostel than a hotel to be honest. One positive was we got an early check in and the receptionist was friendly. The building however was dark and felt dirty. The room was ok at first glance, but the bed was uncomfortable and the shower had a wet towel in it when we got there that the receptionist just took away when he showed us the room. The hanger for the towel kept falling off as it was not attached properly. The knob to adjust the strength of the water in the shower came off and the room had no safe. We’re glad we only had one night here before going home. Was surprised as it had good reviews upon booking and we really didn’t have high expectations as it was only one night before going home. Would not recommend.

Läget var fantastiskt i Gamla stan, med balkong mot gatan där man sålde galet mycket pizza. Kanske äldsta pixxerian i Neapel, år 1870.

Il s'agit d'un appartement avec plusieurs chambres. Salle de bain privé pour chaque chambre. Il est très bien placé très propre et possibilité de laisser les bagages en consigne gratuitement. L'entrée n'est pas libre lors de l'arrivée, une boîte à clé serait peut-être idéal quand on ne maîtrise pas son emploi du temps etant en vacances.

we has three days and three nights at Durmi and had a very good time with the friendly staff, the quiet room, excellent espresso (free) and the possibility to use kitchen, fridge and cafeteria.
the little balcony is lovely
