Room smelled smokey and musty. Furniture from 1952 was dirty and stained. Location was filthy,trash,graphiti,dangerous characters everywhere, a slum. Naples is a dangerous trash heap. Human and animal feces next to so-called eateries. Uncollected garbage piled onto sidewalks. Afraid to take Metro had to walk everywhere. Train station packed with loitering illegals looking for victims. Avoid Naples and this property at all costs.

Beware…no lobby with receptionist ,no bag drop off

BEWARE…no lobby with receptionist. It WASN’T clearly stated. It was a surprise to me and I had never experienced this type of check in. I’m used to dropping off luggage if I arrive early, but this wasn’t an option for this type of establishment. Guessing this is the future of efficient, low cost stays.

The staff did everything they could to help, including an earlier check in. Just saying that the info was buried in the “AT A GLANCE” section , rather than “POLICIES” section.

From what I understand, this is more and more common in Europe. I’ve stayed in thousands of hotels over the years, but guess there’s a first time for everything.

Great stay in Naples

We had a fantastic stay at Cuore Napoletano. Saw other reviews about access to the property after hours, but we had no issues at all, we were offered remote checkin but I preferred in person. Yes they do not have a reception with a person there, but they are super responsive on whatsapp, Jeanette was assigned to check us in. She was in constant communication with us and waiting for us at the property, she did our checking super fast, was very friendly, showed us how everything worked and suggested many places to eat, some of her suggestions were the best restaurants we tried. Sunday night the wifi was not working, I contacted her on WhatsApp and she answered within seconds, showed us how to reset the router! Superb service from Jeanette and Coure Napolitano! I would stay here 100% if I am coming back to Naples. The place is super conveniently located, 10 min walk to train station, 5-7 min walk to Metro station. And very close to historic centre. We didnt use the breakfast service, we like to try different places to eat and this was not a feature we cared much about… All in all, great experience, great location, great price,and awesome service from Jeanette!!! A++

Really liked the option for 2 rooms, so we could park the kids elsewhere.

The breakfast cafe was really good, the cornettos were always fresh (with plenty of chocolate/pistachio cream stuffing) and the coffee was good.

Excellent property a short walk from both the main train station and the old historic centre. Free coffee machine. Helpful staff who sent recommendations. Only downside is that it isn't staffed at all times so you have to arrange beforehand the time you will arrive to get keys etc. Would stay stay again. Thank you.

The suite was very spacious and recently renovated - the separate room for our children was fantastic! It was quiet and very clean! The suite is a 10 minute walk from train station - not the most picturesque - but only another 10 minute walk to a great pedestrian area. Personally, I prefer a standard hotel with a front desk, but the host, Giovanni, was available by text for questions. However, we missed breakfast because it was in a different building and we didn’t know where this was until we had already left the city.

Clean, Tidy, Good Value

Giovanni was excellent to deal with and very responsive to all requests. The suite is handy to Napoli Centrale station about 10mins walk. The room itself was spacious, clean and tidy. Coffee machine in reception. The only cons were were a broken toilet seat when we arrived that was getting fixed when we reported it, and we ran out of shower wash - overall very minor things. We reccommend to others, good value!

Roaches in the bathroom and in the main entrance before the elevator. Contacted staff about the one in the bathroom, who was surprised to hear about this issue and offered no partial refund or accommodation in any way. Room itself was nice, but building is old.

As advertised, this is not a hotel but a rooming house, where there are 5 suites in a common area of a building. The room itself was very nice, and the exterior door to the balcony was incredibly well insulated for sound. The interior walls were a bit thin with noise coming from adjacent rooms. The location is central to tourist spots, but the main street is very busy and noisy. The side street that the property is located on is a bit dark, and when we arrived after dark we walked right past the door as the signage could have been more prominent.

The room was great. Very spacious. AC worked great. There were some free water bottles in the fridge. A big shower. The bed was comfortable. Wi-fi worked well. Elevator to bring up luggage.

The only sour note was they said they offer luggage storage, but the storage is just out in the open in the lobby. You do need a key to get into the lobby, so only other guests can access it, but it is still a bit unnerving to leave all your luggage out in the open there.

The place is located close to station. The room and bathroom were clean. The AC worked very well. Room has a mini fridge and, thoughtfully, a water bottle were provided gratis. Beds were comfortable. We left the luggage for our day trip. The luggage was safely stored and easily accessible later for pickup. Breakfast was a voucher to a local café nearby and included a hot drink and croissant or equivalent. Overall a excellent experience.

Liked the guesthouse. They were largely consistent with cleaning during our stay. The coffee shop for breakfast, we enjoyed, despite other reviews about how unpleasant the employees are. We enjoyed them, the coffee and the croissants. And, the location of the guesthouse was good.

Small hotel is very accesible to restaurants, public transportation, and shops. We had the 2 bedroom suite. Very comfortable and clean. Building has elevator that needs coins which are given and left on reception but a 20 cent euro is needed for arrival. Owner responded quickly and accesible thru whatsap at different times. I

Tiziana was in touch with us before arrival to coordinate our meetup. WhatsApp was useful in communicating. The room and bath was spacious & clean. Plenty of storage room in lighted closet (had small safe). Comfortable bed & pillows. We had to ask about the A/C operation, which only works if the balcony is closed. Location can’t be beat: close the main train station, easy access to everything, safe. The best part was the room was super quiet even close to main road. Wonderful stay.

The host was not very helpful or responsive to questions and concerns. There was no soap provided and when asked, brought a title of used shower gel which had hair all over it.

When pointed out that the bathroom had foul smell she simply denied it and said this is how it is.

I stayed 14 days October/November 2022 and I am soo glad I booked this bed and breakfast. The hosts are great the place was great. They always were willing to help. anytime I sent a message Fabrizio answered right away. I will definitely be back soon. I always felt safe walking from the main train station to the BnB. Met a lot of friendly ppl. Highly recommend it. This was a trip of a life time. I miss it already. The place is very clean . Grazie Ragazzi ❤️

Special thanks to Fabrizio!! Absolute lifesaver. We had flight issues and ended up with a few 10hr delay meaning we would arrive at 10:35pm. Fabrizio picked us up from the airport no fuss and kept in contact just in case we needed assistance for the entire stay. Also organised holding our bags after checkout so we could explore Naples before our afternoon flight. Thank you again Fabrizio! The facilities were also clean and without complaints, the free breakfast at the nearby cafe (pastry and coffee) were a great addition to a pleasant stay!

We loved our family room. It was spacious and everything was clean and new and fitted out to a very good standard. The shower was fantastic. The windows were double or triple glazed and kept out all the noise perfectly, and the blockout curtains ensured a great environment for a good night’s sleep. The area around the suites is really interesting. It’s a true local area and not polished for tourists. We enjoyed exploring and had a meal at a local pizzeria around the corner where everyone who passed by knew each other. It was nice to feel like you’re in a real neighbourhood. There are several corner stores as well as a little supermarket within a few minutes walk. We would definitely recommend staying here.

ANTS IN OUR BED

This hotel had ants in the bed. ANTS IN THE BED. I showed the ants to the maid in the morning when we saw them and she told me that we must have had food in the room which we DID NOT. We did not have food in the room. We sent the videos of the bed with the ants crawling around and he never responded to us. I reported it to Hotels.com and was told that, after speaking to the hotel, the hotel would not honor my request for a refund. DO NOT stay at this hotel. You never know if you're going to be the one with ants in your bed. Again, I have a movie of ants crawling in our bed and the idea that this Hotel hasn't answered our text and are completely ignoring it as though it is our fault in insulting.

I loved it but know what to expect the room is big for Europe but not huge. Our room had two balconies. The room was really clean and so was the private bathroom, staff was very nice and helpful with recommendations. I will definitely stay here again if we go back to Naples!

Im Vorfeld wird man über diverse Nummern per Whatsapp aufgefordert, sich zu melden oder sogar die Reisepässe zu übermitteln.
Dann soll man einen festen Termin zum Check in machen. Alles etwas kompliziert.
Das Zimmer ist hellhörig und aus dem Bad riecht es nach Abfluss. Sauber war es. Zentral gelegen ist es auch.
