This Hotel was very dishonest. Staying here caused my daughter anxiety and I had a panic attack. The situation was so horrible that we only stayed one night but they charged me for 4 nights. They basically robbed us. There was no water and the hotel did not let me know this at check in. I noticed that they were not letting any new guests know. By the end of the day we were helping the 2 staff members carry buckets of water from the jacuzzi to our rooms to use to flush the toilet. The hotel staff kept telling us that the water problem would be fixed in a \"few hours\". That time came and went. By the next day I became very concerned regarding sanitary conditions, lack of drinking water, and food in the area. We checked out and we're told we would get a receipt by email. That never happened. They charged my bank account full price. It will probably be a nightmare to get my money back.

The staff was friendly and welcoming. The junior suite room was spacious and in great condition. The bed is comfortable and the fridge in the room worked well. I would highly recommend for both vacation as well as business. I was able to easily hold Zoom meetings in my room with the hotel WiFi. The coffee in the lobby is ready very early (5:00 a.m.). The location is fantastic for exploring Old San Juan. Also a short 5-minute walk to large grocery store (Super Maxx). Will stay here again when I return later this year!

This hotels location is amazing!!!!
We were able to walk to everything we wanted to see in Old San Juan and had our own roof top to enjoy the night life.
The room was inviting and the bed was very comfortable.
The staff did not seem to notice us as we came and went. They did not ask how we were doing or if we needed anything.
Our room was a very nice size. Just an FYI, based on the construction of the building, the rooms don’t have windows. We felt like we were sleeping in a cool dungeon. Which, based on the location wasn’t a problem because all we had to do was go to the roof for amazing views.

Some noise from some construction interrupted our sleep but the hotel was gracious in making that right. Wonderful decorated- lots of interesting designs and pictures, great location with staff that was very helpful -especially a lady manager that genuinely cared about our experience and was very helpful in suggestions, parking receipts and food recommendations. The noise keep this experience from a 5 star but their response overcomes that and I would return and recommend.

Location, friendly staff. I fell on the sidewalk outside on the street and arrived at Casablanca where the staff brought out a first aid kit and helped me clean up my wounds and patched me up. They also brought me ice and everytime they saw me asked if I needed help. Very helpful and caring. Thank you

If you looking for the best hotel in old San Juan with the most amazing roof terrace with hot tub and jacuzzi come to this hotel. Free coffee 24/7 front desk staff 24/7 parking is close by at metropolis for 26 for 24 hours. I regret is checking out to go to a hotel/apartment in Condano. Casablanca is worth every penny i spent at 130 at night.

The staff, location and uniqueness of the property are its strengths. It is an old building that has been turned into a nice boutique hotel. The value is good, the room was clean, although a bit small. The AC stopped cooling the last night there, which was a downer and I am certain the hotel fixed it immediately. They did comp me for the inconvenience, so that put me at ease. The restaurant was under renovation, and I cannot speak to that, but I don't knock them for it since it is an effort to make amenities even nicer. The roof top is very nice.

We thoroughly enjoyed our couples stay at CasaBlanca Hotel. We loved the decor and design of the hotel. The room was immaculate and the bed was extremely comfortable. We enjoyed sipping our coffee from the private balcony and taking in the charm of the city. The rooftop hot tubs were a welcomed addition. Highly recommend if you are in OSJ!

We feel like the place is misrepresented online.

No restaurant. No breakfast served daily, even though this is on the Expedia page and official site. When we asked about this during check-in, we were advised it closed a long time ago, but they haven't gotten around to updating the info.

Rooms, not clean. The first room had stains on bed sheets, bed skirts, couch, walls, rusty metal in bathroom, hair on the bed, couch, and shower walls, big water rust stains in bathroom on shower wall, and water stains on the bathroom ceiling, origin unknown. We asked to change rooms and were told not possible, ask tomorrow. Finally on the 3rd day we got a new room. The room had similar challenges. Less rust, but hairs, sand, and stains were found again. We showed these to the front desk person and she sent someone up to clean again right away. We asked to leave to move to another hotel and were told not possible. Expedia also would not help with this when asked for assistance. We ended up double booking some nights. Ultimately, the property did give us a partial refund for the days spent in the first room. If the place were clean, it would be really quaint and historic, but it needs work.

Noise. While the walls are solid concrete, the doors and interior windows are very, very thin and don't come anywhere close to a sealed closing. When another guest in your wing is getting it on, you'll most likely know about it. Victor down the hall was doing a great job of doing something for his lady.

My husband and I stayed for 4 weeknights in May 2026 on vacation and found the CasaBlanca to be good value for the comfort of the room, the hotel amenities, and beautiful decor throughout. We made frequent use of the free coffee and filtered water in the lobby, and spent every evening in the rooftop hot tubs. We didn't find the stone baths as fun, but also a cool perk. Although our room did not have any windows, the ambiance created by lighted panels with shutters helped the room not to feel too cavelike. We did notice the room's chandeliers were extremely dusty and the couch was rather worn, but the space was otherwise very clean, king bed comfortable, and AC worked well. We definitely recommend the CasaBlanca for those exploring Old San Juan.

This is a unique hotel, decorated creatively in a Moroccan theme. Beautiful artwork in all the common areas and in our room. Take note that there are some interior rooms that have no windows. We opted to upgrade to a room with windows and a balcony, and it was quite spacious and comfortable. It didn’t cost that much to upgrade and it was well well worth it. On the roof, there are stone bathtubs that guests can fill with water and take in the views of the city while cooling off in the tubs. It seems to always be breezy up there and it’s a great escape from the heat. There are shady areas if you want to get out the sun or you can sunbathe there. It is quite unique and a treat in the day or evening. Close to all the Old San Juan historic sites and restaurants

This hotel is in a great location close to restaurants, shopping, and the sights of San Juan. We were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go. It’s a beautiful hotel with a cool Moroccan theme. The property is listed as having parking and it didn’t. I would’ve made better plans than the amount of money I ended up spending for my stay in old CM Juan.
The staff then had the audacity to give me a discount I could use at the parking garage they recommended however payment is by phone so saving $20t was not even possible.
All in all, a very expensive venture that I had not anticipated. The place was not worth the extra I paid for parking.

Stayed in a standard room, it was small but doable and AC was cold, except it was really unclean. The hotel needs a major revamp, including things like the towels and sheets which had stains and holes in the towels. Only pro is location and rooftop. If you are desperate to find a place to stay in old town that’s affordable and don’t mind the dirtiness, this is the place for you.

A \"quaint\" old hotel in Old San Juan, kept up with very well. If you want hundreds of souvenir shops to walk in and out of it's very convenient. Restaurants and bars seemed to be harder to find. No real amenities at the hotel, did not see anyone using the hot baths or jacuzzi. Coffee in the lobby near the front door in the morning, had to get a hair dryer from the front desk. It served it's purpose for the overnight stay.

This property is not well maintained at all. The staff however, are amazing!

The hot water heater for the shower failed multiple times during our stay and required several trips to the front desk to reset breakers. The bathroom fixtures are poorly installed and the water pressure is very low. These are known issues to the general manager and owner - and yet they persist without addressing them.

Great location! This hotel could be so awesome if the owner and general manager fixed these issues. At $250/night you shouldn’t have to deal with these kind of problems.

Very suitable for our one night stay, lovely/original artistic flair to the decor playing off the Casablanca theme throughout lobby area and in the rooms; excellent staff, both friendly and attentive; the rooftop lounge areas are a big plus. Excellent location. Only caveat: Reservation/ information provided at check-in should be clearer that many rooms HAVE NO WINDOW whatsoever which is a big minus. If this is a problem for you, make sure to ask!

This is a beautiful hotel! It is mostly clean- although a little more eye for detail (tops of baseboard in bathrooms...) would be great. I also felt weird asking for coffee cups in the morning for the coffee that was offered. But, the staff were very friendly, the hot tubs were clean and the outside baths are a cool concept. This hotel is right in the center of it all and walkable to several park g garages. We recommend La Pontilla! It is the open air lot and is totally safe and clean. It's a little tricky for parking in Old San Juan. Don't park on the streets. And also pay your parking ticket before you leave the lot. casa Blanca was wonderful.

We were excited to stay in the two bedroom suite, but when we checked in, we were directed to the back building on the property. We realized that night that our room was right across the way from a bar/nightclub. This is an old building, so there was no sound proofing, and the window shutters didn't even shut correctly. We heard loud music until the club closed around 2 am.

The only benefits of this hotel are the rooftop patios and luggage storage. Staff was very helpful with that. Just don't expect to get a good night's sleep here.

Views from the rooftop was amazing. Loved the two rooftop areas for having a relaxing conversation over a glass of wine and nice breeze after a day of exploring the fort and town, Beds are so comfortable. Staff friendly and knowlegable. Wonderful air-conditioning and loved the small balcony. Quiet rooms which in Old San Juan is amazing. If given the opportunity, I would definitely stay here again.

When we checked into the room there was water all over the floor from a leaky air conditioner. The bathe towel in the room was dry rotted. Would not recommend. The hotel requires repair.
