Great place to stay, nice rooftop space with hot tubs, lounge beds, and bar. Great breakfast included. Would have liked an extra pillow and a comforter, the bed only included a sheet, as well as an extra towel since you have the amenities plus regular shower. Would stay again!

Shower has black tiles and a dip toward the plug hole...no signage to warn or bath mat provided. Area can be slippy when wet and partner did slide (although thankfully no injury).

We had a bathroom with the shower open to the toilet so after using the shower, the toilet and floor around the toilet were soaked. We used our daily allotment of towels to soak up the water in order to use the toilet.

Not much to look at from the outside but once you’re inside it’s great! Rooms were basic but clean and had everything we needed. Breakfast was excellent and we ate it on their beautiful terrace with a stunning view of the city. Bar prices are very reasonable and it’s a short walk to the central train station. Staff were friendly and super helpful.

The people make this property (and the views). There are plenty of gluten free options at breakfast and the restaurant is a very nice place to have dinner. The location is perfect, if you want to settle down with your feet up and enjoy the breeze, far away from the town. The town is a 400 staircase, a long walk along a narrow roadway or a very expensive cab ride away.

This is great value for money. Good rooms with quirky but fun decor, comfortable bed, decent bathroom, within walking distance to the train station, close to the metro, good food, excellent service and breakfast. The rooftop patio dining is a plus. If you want a hot tub they have it. This is not luxury but it is comfort. Be prepared to use a small elevator to reach the sixth floor for check in. Our room was on the fourth floor. Other B&Bs share the same building. You will like it.

The location was perfect. The hotel was located on the 6th floor, accessed by a lift. Room was comfortable but toiletries were scarce and there was no teabags/coffee despite there being a kettle and cups. Breakfast was plenty and had a great variety.

Sweet Sleep is a hidden gem! Once you find the entrance and navigate the tiny elevator, you end up in a lovely, safe area atop the busy downtown. The rooms are spacious, clean and have the basics, but it’s the rooftop patio that sets it apart - like a mini resort overlooking the city. And the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, whether it’s bringing snacks, explaining how the metro works or just making you feel at home. Get a limoncello spritz, chill in the hot tub or eat at the restaurant - it’s all there, while still small enough to feel cozy. Naples can be dizzying, and this place makes sense of it all. Highly recommended.

The hotel occupies the 6th floor of an old building and has a fantastic area terrace outside of reception which has a load of sun beds and a couple of hot tubs.
The staff are very friendly and bar and food service very good and reasonably priced.

I’m a female solo traveller and loved my stay at Sweet Sleep. It was a short taxi ride from the airport but also a 1 min walk from the train station, so very well connected. The staff were lovely and attentive.
I read the reviews and took earplugs for sleeping but other than that, I really enjoyed my time at the hotel. The beds were so comfy, the shower powerful. The rooftop was perfect with lots of wine choices and lovely outdoor showers and seating post hot tub dip. I’ve already recommended to friends.

Sweet Sleep BnB is a Shining Diamond sadly hidden away in a rough and dirty part of Naples could not fault the hotel at all food was great, staff above and beyond helpful situated in perfect place for commuting will be back for sure.

Rooftop B&B with nice views and excellent and big breakfast options… street side signage was poor and room was hot since AC was turned off when we arrived… after turning AC on it took 30 minutes before the room was comfortable.

Food and rooftop dining is outstanding! The staff is attentive and available. Location is convenient for the train and bus, but the area around the station is less attractive and very busy. Noise might be an issue for some. The only things which could really improve the stay is better bedding (sheets and a blanket) and better sound proofing. Overall, an excellent stay.

We had a wonderful stay here, the staff were very friendly and the place was funky and clean. Comfy beds, the breakfast was amazing. We loved the hot tub but it wasnt very warm which was the only disappointment of the stay. Great views and location.

We went to restaurant around corner which was excellent, and also the in house restaurant was very good. It was too cold for swimming so we didn't get chance to use pool, but it looked nice. The property was clean, our only complaint was we could smell sewage coming from bathroom drains. We put water down all drains which helped, but suspect if could just be the area.

The roof terrace was definitely the best part of the hotel, we were so thankful to have the jacuzzis to cool off with after a long day in the sun. The staff were so helpful and any issues were resolved quickly and without fuss. They were also really kind and gave amazing recommendations. The room wasn’t huge, however that suited really well because we spent most time out exploring. We had air con and a fridge to keep some snacks and drinks in. Would definitely return here again. It was also very well placed to reach different places, very accessible.

Honestly this place is great! My friends, and I were traveling to Sicily and needed a last-minute place to rest her head before we took an earlier flight the next day to Catania. I booked us last minute for the four of us, and I was pleasantly surprised! The location is a little sketchy, so that would be the only downfall but other than that it was great location to some great pizza joints, close to the train, and easy to get to the airport, had a rooftop that was great to hang out with and watch the sunset with my friends and grab some drinks and the rooms were decently size. I will say it was hard to find it at first and it would be better to make it clearer, where it is actually located and how to get to it. the breakfast was also good the next morning and I appreciate it.

The hotel is located on a busy street so you can expect the noise, and you will need to be cautious walk around the area after dark. That been said, the place has a few big plus: The staffs are so nice and helpful; Room is clean and good size; The free breakfast is just fantastic; The location is only about 5-minutes walk away from Napoli Centrale, and the Garibaldi Station, a main transportation hub, where you can catch the local train Circumvesuviana to visit Pompie & Sorrento, which is about 40 and 75 mins away. Would stay here again when I am back to Napoli one day!!

However, the room we had was very tired and the shower pressure was very low to the point it was difficult to get warm water running. The location was central to the train station and a 15 minute walk the central tourist street however the street leading into the hotel felt very unsafe with lots of people hanging around selling things until late at night so it could be quite intimidating. Obviously not much the hotel can do about that.
It was cheap however and the free breakfast while basic could fill a gap if you needed it too. Overall, you get what you pay for and I wouldn't stay here again.

No pool. We booked as we wanted a hotel with a pool and it came up in the Expedia search for a pool. There are pictures of a pool on the Expedia site and a review mentioning a pool, but there was no pool. A pool was advertised but didn’t exist which caused us the cost and time to find good beaches. The staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfasts were good. The views were very good, but the neighbourhood was rough.

Excellent access to/from Garibaldi public transport hub (surface/underground/Circumvesuviana railways and buses including airport shuttle). So ideal for site-seeing in historic areas of Naples and beyond. Far better than one would expect from 2-star “bed and breakfast” as categorised: impeccably clean and well-maintained, modern, well-appointed bedrooms (and en suite bathrooms) and more improvements in hand. Excellent breakfasts. Lunch and evening meals available. Staff friendly, efficient, knowledgeable and fluent in foreign languages.

Reminded me of the splendid atmospheric places I used to stay in when on Eurail trips (and an easy walk to the Railway station). Room was fine and bed very comfortable, though being in an Annexe is not ideal (but no real problem). As for the location, it is central and for some is in a dirty, noisy, aggressive \"dump\" for others a marvellously bohemian, unique experience. A bit of both for me...

My only minor caution was that they offered to order a taxi (someone they knew) to the airport for 20 euros (to \"avoid being ripped off by those that might charge more\"). I don't think that they were being dishonest but I got the bus from outside the railway station for 5 euros...

Our room was very clean and the breakfast was top-notch, and we found the property to be a great value. One thing that caught me off guard was that our guest room was in a different building than the front desk & breakfast room. Also, taller patrons should be aware that the ceiling in the loft part of the guestroom is only about 6' tall.

Staff were very friendly and extended happy hour at the bar as we arrived so late. It wasn't obvious to find the place as it's on the top floor of an apartment building that isn't very well sign posted. Would definitely stay here again as it's so convenient for the station.

Interesting hotel next to train station
An interesting place to rest your head for the night right next to the Naples train station. The hotel lobby was on the fifth floor, whuch is reached by tiny elevator. The rooms were small, but the bed was ok. The bathroom needed better cleaning, and the toilet continued to run. The street noise was fairly loud even 5 floors up, so bring your earplugs. Negatives aside, the staff were very friendly and helpful, the free breakfast buffet was fairly extensive, and the roof lounge was a great way to spend one night in Naples. This place had alot of nice touches for not alot of money. If you're someone expecting a high end hotel for a cheap price, this will not fill your needs. However, if you're a little more accepting of a few quarks and a small room with a decent bed, this place will suit you.

The staff were fantastic, really friendly & caring. Check in is on the 6th floor as is breakfast and access to the rooftop spa and bar. They have 20 rooms and a further 7 rooms on the first floor of another building about a block up the street. That's where we were. Studio apartment was spacious, well designed and airy but the problem was no lift. There are approximately 30 steps making it difficult for the elderly or infirm. Reception staff carried our bags up for us and were happy to bring them down again on check out if required. Sleep comfort was good and the double glazed windows kept noise to a minimum.
So everyday we walked between buildings for breakfast and afternoon drinks on the rooftop with great views of the city. Breakfast was excellent. There is also a restaurant if you should want dinner whilst at the bar or spa. Good \"happy hour\" package very night as well makes drinking reasonably priced.

Close to railway station on edge of the old town, the reception for this property is on the sixth floor in an old building. The staff are very friendly and helpful, rooms are clean and comfortable, breakfast selection is immense. There is a beautiful rooftop bar which serves food in the evening. The hotel is central so its easy to get round Naples and do some sight seeing. Very close to the train station so you can get to Pompeii and Herculaneum and the old town is within walking distance so you can explore your surroundings and visit the Archaeological Museum. The port is very close also.

Not in the classiest part of town - near the train station, but very convenient. Must pay 10 cents to use elevator to 6th floor - and then what a surprise! Excellent hotel, beautiful roof terrace, updated clean rooms, excellent breakfast - could not be better! Good meals at very low prices - one of the best hotels on our trip - we are budget travelers, and this exceeded expectations.We highly recommend staying here.

Very pleasant with a great staff very friendly and helpful. Just the hotel is on the 6th floor of a bulding and we have to pay each time the use of the lift. Very unpleasant because the needed coins are not always available, this is the only negative point. The room was very clean and quiet. The breakfast buffet very rich and good. This place is wonderful. The reception is on the 6th and top floor of a building very close to the train station - walk across the street when you leave the station, turn left and keep walking through Piazza Garibaldi past a busy strip of commerce until you find Via Allessandro Peoria on the right. You will see a sign \"Sweet Naples B&B, 6o piano\" at street level. If you had to start a hotel in a tourist area from scratch, you could not find a better person to greet you than Veronica. She speaks excellent English, gave us a warm welcome to the hotel, gave us a map and showed us where to find the old part of town (quite close) and lots of fantastic shopping - up Via Tribunali, then follow your nose to the left. There are probably more simple rooms near the reception, but seeing as we are here for four nights, Veronica said they had given us a small apartment in another building a very short distance up the street (that is, in the direction away from Piazza Garibaldi). We went \"wow\" when we entered. It's clean and modern. There is a stove, fridge, washroom (shower, no bath tub, lots of pressure and hot water), a sitting area on the main level, and a large bed and closet in a loft off the kitchen area. Just magic! There are lots of electrical outlets and the wi-fi internet works just fine.

When we arrived Naples train station we were a little disappointed and even scarred. The street was dirty and noisy. We had a hard time finding the hotel. But I couldn't have asked for more from the hotel - clean, comfortable room, friendly staffs and EXCELLENT breakfast.

Oasis of calm in a mad city
Naples is indeed a great big noisy manic city and Sweet Sleep is right at the heart of that. But it was a lovely oasis of calm up on the 6th floor, with a lovely peaceful roof terrace with great views, and where breakfast is served. In fact our room was in a neighbouring building but that wasn't a problem and our room was newly converted, with bed on a mezzanine level and small kitchen, all was spotlessly clean. Staff were friendly super-helpful, we could not fault them. Wifi was good. No, Sweet Sleep is not in the best locality - but we chose it in order to be near transport links (railway station and airport bus), which it was - just across the road from the Alibus - and in fairness in many cities around the station isn't the greatest. But we encountered no problems, and it was easy walking distance of some really interesting sights in the old town. We would definitely stay there again if we visit Naples in the future - Sweet Sleep me all our needs perfectly.

Couldn't fault the hotel or the service - staff were friendly and helpful, room was brilliant and breakfasts were great, something for everybody. Only downside was the initial impression in an area which was not the best in Naples although in easy walking distance from the station which was the reason we chose it! Would thoroughly recommend the hotel for those looking for a good place to stay - all different age groups using the hotel - we are not young!

the room I lived in is a loft. newly decorate. everything is pretty new. firm and comfortable bed. it is not a four star hotel but def the best bnb I have ever lived in. the roof garden has a great view of the city and seems open all the time. a good variety of breakfast options including fresh fruits, comparable to a €250~ hotel I stayed in Florence. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Located close to train station and in old town, so it is very convenient for you to go for a day trip to pompei and walk around the historic area. the only down side is that the old town is on the shabby side, although I didn't have any problem with walking around in the evening.

The hotel was very easy to find, a 5 minute walk from the train station. The hotel reception is on the 6th floor, and you need 10cents to operate the lift. The hotel staff were friendly and showed us to our room, which was in a separate building a few buildings down. I was just expecting a small basic hotel room, but it was a large apartment with a full kitchen. We were extremely impressed. The apartment has been recently renovated. The neighbourhood is very rough, but we just used Naples as a base to explore elsewhere, so we didn't spend much time in the area. Great value for money.

The neighborhood around Napoli Centrale is not pretty. This is driven home by the elevator used to reach the front desk that requires 10 cents to work. Our actual room was in a building on the next block. The room was great -- kitchen, good bed, airconditioning, and a tiny terrace. Just note the 10:30am checkout.

A Mixture of Good and Bad
Having seen that this B&B is near the Napoli Centrale, I chose it. But convenience is not always measured in terms of location. I found the place without problem but the check-in was not as easy as I thought. First of all, not having a 10 centimes coin available was a great problem. The check-in desk was on the 6th level and the elevator required a 10 centime coin. Well, I eventually dragged my luggage up six levels! But 6th floor was not where the rooms were, the rooms were located at the next building. Lucky that I am a gym person ...

The walk to the 6th floor was a killer. Make sure you have a 10 cent piece for the elevator / lift. Gabriel was helpful, even suggesting where I might find great pizza. The room was clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was good. I would definitely stay there again when in Napoli.

A bit tricky to find in the dark around the train station as lots of streets and its up on the 6th floor with the elevator was only working from floor 2 and costs 10 euro cents. But once you get there Gabriel and family are very very welcoming and so helpful. The room was great with a kitchenette (though we didnt use) and breakfast was included and it was lovely with home baking included. Naples is quite intimidating and as we were two females travelling we didnt feel too safe out at night but the pizza is amazing and cheap so its worth stopping in! we were only here one night on our way to Amalfi but this hotel was inexpensive and cheerful and secure. unfortunately the two outdoor areas had work being done to them but i think these will be nice once functioning.

Das Frühstück war nicht gut. Die Teller waren teilweise kaputt. Die Zimmer waren einfach und sauber. Die Dachterrasse war schön und das Personal freundlich. Diese Unterkunft ist in keinster Weise zu empfehlen! Leider haben wir uns von den vielen positiven Bewertungen blenden lassen und dadurch wurde die Reise um einiges teurer als geplant
