I booked this hotel from Expedia platform, hey, you need to update your platform and remove properties that mislead customers. I booked this hotel because it stated that parking was available on-site with a daily payment option. The fee seemed reasonable to me, so I booked it. However, they failed to mention how far the parking is from the hotel.

When I arrived after a long flight with heavy luggage, I discovered the parking was around 400 meters away and not suitable for multiple entries. This essentially means you’re stuck there. Specially in the area that in each minute, someone comes to you and ask money and cigarette!!!!!!

Breakfast was very limited in options, and the environment around the hotel was noisy and unpleasant, as mentioned in reviews that I was aware of beforehand.

However, the one and most important issue I didn’t see mentioned in the reviews was the parking problem.
No tissue paper, no kettle, no cups, no phone( broken), no safe( broken), people do wee in the street around the hotel.

The bed and pillow was hard as a rock. The front reception wasn't very helpful. The faucet was all corroded. There was still painter's tape on the light from when they painted the room and paint had dripped on the lamp shade which is still there. They offer key access only which doesn't make you feel very safe.

The walls in our room had multiple cracks and the carpet was very old. Lots of stains on bed linens and walls and carpet. Our bathroom had no real shower curtain so water went all over the floor. The building in general was rather dingy. I wouldn’t recommend. Definitely not clean like the pics portrayed. Way way way overpriced!!

Overall stay was good but the room in which I was staying had sewerage problems so many times my room was stinky badly because of the bathroom sewerage problem even when I am not using it. This property is just 5 min walk to central station. Its on main road, so its safe.
Shopping n food options are plenty nearby.
Check in is till late, we checked in at 12.30 am and there was no issues.

Hotel was dated and our room had exposed wires and old sockets. Carpet was stained and safe did not work initially.
On the plus side, daily housekeeping and free breakfast.
Area around hotel was very unpleasant with lots of poo (mix of ?human ?dog ? unknown) and large amounts of rubbish.

They helped us out in a pinch when we had to suddenly travel to Naples to avoid a transportation strike happening the next day. We arrived after check in closed at midnight but the clerk waited for us and was an absolute gem of a human being when we got there. He gave us lots of info that made traveling locally the next day so much easier.

We arrived to a suite whose bathroom smelled bad, the A/C and the mini fridge did not work.
We were initially offered a 20 euro discount, but then the front desk offered us another suite with working A/C and mini fridge. The suite didn’t smell great, but it was better than the other one. We were grateful for working A/C.

Overall, we would have rated the hotel higher if we wouldn’t have had to fight for a proper suite, and if the suite smelled better.

Go just for the night

The hotel is near Napoli Centrale, so it's great if you have to travel early and want an easy connection, but it's not for long stays, that's for sure.
The staff was friendly and attentive, but the rooms were outdated and the bathroom was not cleaned before our arrival, I found a used soap on the shower and used floss between the shampoo sachets.

As we booked last minute was the best we could find in a budget but you can definitely get more for your buck.

the clerk was super not nice, no greetings what so ever
no hot water at night
but we did have a lot during the morning
centrally located, near the metro (5 minute walk ) and near the train station (10 mim walk)
a lot of shops and stores around.
at night a lot of scary people around the garibaldi piazza, so it is a little scary
the breakfast is ok. bread, douts, coffee, tea, juice and yogurt and sweet fruit. enough to get by for the morning

the premisis is old. real old. some old smells. some cigarette smells in the halls.
the reception clerks are really not nice, never really went out of their wat to say hello or help out, when asked a question they answered, but the should work on their human relations.
would I go back? would defently try something else next time.
price was good for what we paid for

It was very centrally located, with great staff, however the room we were in was right on the street front- lots of noise all night from cars on the street, and during the day until 9pm or so, blaring pop music from the storefront next door which was directly below the room. The bathtub (one of the reasons we opted to upgrade) was broken and couldn't be filled. For a weekend trip it wasn't the end of the world, but was a bit disappointing.

Nothing really, Than a cheap b&b, some staff were Ok to talk to, but I lost two nights of my sleep because heavy construction work was going on next door to the room I stayed, after spoken to the hotel staff about it the night staff was really rude, he even rude to Expedia when they call the night to speak him. I was told next day that the work won't be taken place that night, to my surprise the workmen started to work at 2: am in the morning again banging down walls & tiles. Not good!!

BUT, the elevator truly is laughably small! Those negative comments are true, but I found it not to be complaintworthy, just humorous. great location near the train station and next to the 'MaggyMore' church, don't miss that incredible structure!

We only stayed for 1 night, and that's about all we would want to stay for. I'm sure it would have been a pretty Grand hotel in it's time, but it's very run down now, the shower in our room was too small to actually shower in, it was hilarious, the bathroom and bedroom were an excellent size.
The area around the train station are pretty unsafe overall, but if you want a hotel for a night that is close to the station then this is easy enough just dont have any expectations. It does have a lift, and they held our bags for the day while we did a walking tour of Napoli.

Pros: Convenient to the main train station. Hotel is clean, very nice and comfortable. Noise level from the street was subdued, not a hassle. Walking distance to many areas of tourist interest, and when you get worn out from walking everywhere seeing the sights, the Metro can whisk you back to Garabaldi station, just 5 minutes walk from the hotel. Cons: the WiFi within the room was spotty, not reliable. The bathtub was nice (a bathtub is not in all rooms) but the waterjets system did not work. Breakfast was quite adequate, but remember, this is not a Denny's and this is not a Hilton. As for personal safety, I felt not one bit of unease walking on the main streets in the area, even after sunset. For those who live in a white bread neighborhood, you might feel intimidated by the large number of African immigrants that hang out in the area.

Average hotel close to tourist necessities

The hotel is average nothing special but I’ve stayed in much worse places. Very close to the metro station literally about a 3 minuet wall and the ticket for the underground/overground are ridiculously cheap 1.60€ for a single. The hotel is also a 15-20 min walk into the town centre which we enjoyed the walk. Breakfast was enjoyable, just your basic continental breakfast but kept us filled up while we did a lot of walking through the day. The room was good, nothing special but does exactly what you need for a room. It was clean and tidy.

Nice hotel close to Napoli Centrale train station (walking distance, at least during the day). The room was clean and the bed was fine, shower and bathroom just fine. A/C did not work, it was past midnight when we arrived to the hotel and we never contacted the administration about this because the room cooled quickly by opening the windows (it was during the 1st week of October). We were skeptic about the breakfast, with many reviews complaining about it, we found out that the buffet was complete with a selection of hams, cheeses, pastries, croissants and very good coffee.

Great stay, close to Train Station!

Overall, this was a convenient and comfortable hotel to stay in while in Napoli. It is walking distance from the train station which is a plus, however the immediate area there is really ghetto. Alot of immigrants from Africa and South East Asia, Northern Africa who sell things in the street and potentially can pick-pocket you. Walk with caution in that area! Aside from that, the hotel itself is very clean, comfy, has a homey feel with great friendly staff who are quite accommodating to your needs should you need anything in particular. As with most places in Europe, everything is so small. The elevator is tiny, the showers are tiny, the beds are tiny lol. Pack light and be conscious of this. Although my family and i did not get to experience this, we heard the breakfast is great. We did meet the chef however and found him to be a really pleasant man. The rooms in the hotel have a very old Victorian feel to it, very antique...but ask the hotel manager for the reason why the hotel is called what it is - there's an interesting story behind it!

A interesting and traditional hotel with great service.
The bathroom was my only area of concern. The shower doors would not close and the silicone was mouldy.
The hotel could do with some investment, but given its reasonable price and good location in an area of Naples that is rapidly rising in popularity with tourists I would stay here again.
It is a short walk from the main railway station and the ancient old town of the Via Tribunali, with all its wonderful sights.
The reception staff were very helpful. A buffet breakfast was included that satisfying.
The room was a good size, clean with a comfortable bed.

The hotel is old and situated on a noisy street. Staff is least bothered about service. During our stay for 3 days the wifi was not available in the room. Don't stay in this hotel if you're coming with family especially if you've got babies or kids it's not child friendly at all, there's not automatic doors or step free access for prams, no highchairs available at breakfast or cots in rooms. The location is close to the station which is the only plus point however the area is very rough and there's so much noise! We couldn't sleep for 3 nights due to police sirens and shootings. We were not by local people to be careful with our handbags and belongings outside as there's so much theft! Area is extremely rough and not a place for families. There's poor lighting inside rooms and also beds are not comfortable. There's a strange smell in the hotel also and not bath tubs and the hot water takes a while to come. Wifi is also not great! Hotel staff barely smiled or welcomed us and breakfast was awful there was no eggs or hot food and the water for tea and coffee was not hot!

Nice Hotel in the Centre of Naples

The hotel is 200 Metres from the Central station. Unfortunately making my way to the hotel my phone was stolen by a pick pocket as I walk from the station to the hotel. The whole area is very unsafe with lots of undesirable people selling undesirables items (check google maps). If you are walking away from the train station, walk in the central area of Piazza Garibaldi.

Having said that the hotel was nice, breakfast is basic with juice, bread & bread rolls, coffee, cheese & ham. There is also a toaster grill to make toast or a hot sandwich. There were a number of school trips which made the dining room very busy at 8am.

My room was comfortable and had a balcony but the view was just on to the back of other buildings. Maid service was every day.

My room was very tastefully decorated, comfortable, and large. Heat worked well and the bed had a warm down comforter. Breakfast was average, but with many different fruit juices. The location is excellent, if you arrive by train to Napoli Centrale, a very short walk. Piazza Garibaldi bus station is even closer, and I took buses from there for excursions. The room had a desk for the laptop, and WiFi worked great! Staff was friendly and helpful. They could not fix the safe in my room, so they gave me a safe deposit box at the front desk with my own key. I recommend this hotel, as it impressed me compared to most others I have seen in the same price range. Front desk is staffed 24 hours a day. Don't hesitate to book it!

Hotel greeted by a very rude man who was aggressive when he spoke to us and as I book two single rms under one name . He kept insisting I only had one room even though I showed him my booking. He wanted to 'teach' us that one name cannot have two rooms!! Hotel RM curtains filty and shower totally outdated and full of mould.

I've rated this hotel highly, it's much better than I expected from the reviews. I'd a small single room for a couple of nights. The room was quiet, the bed comfortable and the bedding clean. The ensuite was more than an adequate size and I'm more beer belly than six-pack. Plenty hot water and fluffy towels changed daily. Maybe the staff weren't smiley smiley but any request was dealt with pleasantly and efficiently. You could say the hotel was a bit aged but anything that needed to work, worked. Decent hotel and convenient, with great staff.

Decent hotel, but sketchy area by train station. Keep close watch on your bags. I was pickpocketed just a block away....felt a very slight tug on my backpack and my iPad was gone. It felt no more than a brush against a building or person, then I saw my bag hanging open and the iPad missing.
To be fair the hotel was quite decent and clean, with very helpful and understanding staff, and the same problems happen all over, Rome Termini, Marseilles, etc.. Kind of soured my experience in Naples, though the tour to Pompeii and Almalfi made up for it. Naples itself is a bit chaotic, gritty, somewhat rougher in character. Kind of like Marseilles.

Decent hotel

Me and my girlfriend stayed at Nuovo Rebecchino for a week. After reading some of the reviews we were nervous about the conditions in the hotel. After we arrived, our concerns turned out to be invalid. Room and bathroom were clean, bed comfortable and air-conditioning was life saviour. We only complained about not working TV to the receptionist, and they fixed Tv the next day, but also suprised us, with brand new flat TV the day after! Staff was very nice and VERY helpful. Only think I can complain about, was noise coming from the street, and breakfast could be more varied. What's more, there were some problems with WiFi connection. After all, I would recommend this hotel, to everyone who appreciates good price proportional to conditions.

Quiet room on upper floor

I asked for quiet room on upper floor. I was therefore allocated a room on the 4th floor which is top floor.
The hotel is very old but clean. The staff are friendly and helpful.
I stayed there 4 nights and 2 nights no air conditioning from approximately 8pm owing to wiring fault. When hot difficult to sleep need to open hotel door and put chair behind it or open window with loud traffic and attract mosquitoes.
Breakfast is basic - bread, cereals, ham, cheese, yoghurt. No hot breakfast.
Hotel is good price, and situated off the busy garibaldi square which is near to the central railway station and also the airport bus so very convenient and also near to shops. However, the area is near to railway station and a little busy and can be perceived as rough area at night.

The room is small e.g. no leg room for wc. Finally they changed another room on our request. I have no idea why they didn't give us a better room if there is room available until we requested for. It's really not worth for the price I paid.

Decided not to stay here

We arrived in naples and felt scared. Prople were staring at us, following us an trying to get money from us. A person grabbed my friends face and another commented on my breasts. We found the hotel really easily. The service was good but we were not very comftarble with them keeping our passports. No one showed us to our room. We got into our room and first impressions was that it was quite small which we did not mind. The longer we stayed the more things we noticed. There were stains and cigarette holes in our bedding even though it was a non smoking room. The dorrs of the shower were cracked and had holes in. After about 5 minutes we were itching all over feom being bitten when we sat on the beds. Our arms and hands were covered in hives. That is when we decided to leave and booked somewhere else. The rest of the hotel looked quite nice but needs a bit of updating.

i thought this hotel was charming and full of character, its a little faded, but art deco, with interesting furniture. much better than staying at a hotel chain. it was very reasonably priced, breakfast not great, best to buy a real coffee from the hotel bar . the location was handy for the station and old town. all of naples is a bit rough around the edges so be prepared for that, but it was perfectly safe. not noisy at night
