A run down building with very disappointing accommodation with a very dubious prior usage, note the sexually orientated photo’s in the b&b corridor. Functional but not where you want to stay.

This room was in an old building not far from the train station. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The air conditioning was good. Breakfast was minimal, coffee and prepackaged sweets. We had a restaurant downstairs and several others within a five minute walk. It was a convenient hotel for getting to and from the train station

Hotel looked great at first but there was no hot running water the morning I needed to check out. This meant travelling 15 hours home without a shower and smelling not so great. I would not recommend this hotel.

You need four keys to get in (which might give an indication of the area) then you need money for the elevator up to the third floor. Hotel charged me more than quoted.

The B&B Madison is on the Piazza Garibaldi which is currently a big construction zone directly opposite the entrance to the Central Napoli train station. Consequently, it's not easy getting around in that area, but walking isn't too bad. This will pass once the construction is completed.
Finding the building was a challenge amid this mess, but finding the hotel itself was even more difficult. On the street, look for a sign that says \"Clarean Hotel\", just off the sidewalk. You want to go into the driveway there and then up the stairs or elevator (20 cents) on the left to the second floor.
The staff was welcoming, which was nice and surprising after their persistent email contacts. But I was shocked when the front-desk clerk explained the FIVE keys. Many hotels utilize three keys, but five? Needless to say, they were somewhat bulky.
But the room itself was OK, especially after I closed the curtains overlooking the \"courtyard\" and hanging laundry on every level. There was minimal space for storage and the bathroom was small. It was quiet, though, away from the street.
The \"breakfast\" consisted of coffee and a croissant - pretty basic. There are many other options nearby.
Some people might consider the immediate neighborhood shady or a little iffy. To me, it was just busy with people, mostly immigrants, trying to make a living. Having the train station right there mitigated, and was the likely the source of, this diversity.

BED BUGS but No Refund
We booked B&B Madison because it was very close to the Naples Train Station, for 4 nights, June 4 - 8. In the 5 minute walk from the train to the B&B, my husband was robbed of $200. When we got to the building, English-speaking Lucia was watching for us from the upstairs office window, & came down take us to our room.
The building itself seem dark & dirty. The entry where I waited for the elevator was grimy, with questionable wiring visible. Our room appeared clean, bright & modern. The bathroom had a broken vanity mirror, no big deal.
We slept well, but awoke to find 4 bed bugs in the bed. We were OUT OF THERE. At about 7:30 I knocked on the office door. I told the man that answered about the bed bugs, that we were leaving & I wanted a refund for the three nights. He didn't speak English, so he called a woman who apparently translates for them, but I don't think she understood about the bed bugs, she just asked if I wanted breakfast before we left. The man in the office tried to reach Lucia, but after 20 minutes I needed to leave to catch a tour bus. Finally with translation on our phones, the man said he still didn't understand what I wanted. I told him I wanted money back for the nights we weren't staying there. He said we paid Expedia, not B&B Madison, so I left.
Back in the US I sent a message to B&B Madison requesting a refund, no response. I called Hotels.com; the cust srvc rep didn't get compensation for us, nor did Hotels.com offer.

The place is really quite a gem. A stone's throw from Napoli Central Station...the neighborhood is less than desirable...lots of construction and lots of people (but this is Napoli!) however inside, it's quiet, very clean, spacious room and bathroom, very nice people working there and a VERY nice price. I booked it at the very last minute (without time to investigate) and I was very pleased!

Nice accommodation close to the railway station. Everything was clean and adequate, staff affable and knowledgeable. The street to the hotel is a tad busy but noise doesn't bubble up to the room., and things die down around 6PM.

A hidden gem right by the train station.
Close to the Napoli Statione Central, upon first walking up to it we had some reservations. However, upon checking in, the staff was very courteous and efficient. The room was quaint, clean and good value for the money. The continental breakfast was good and the free bottled water was a bonus when we went on our daily excursions. The location is very central to most everything and we were able to walk or take the subway (which was right outside our door pretty much) every where. As Piazzia Girabaldi is undergoing a major fix up, the stretch in front of B&B is a little dicey but at no time did I feel unsafe. I would recommend this place to anyone!

La casa está bien situada, por estar cerca de la estación Napoli Centrale. Pero la calla está muy sucia.
La foto de la web no corresponde con la casa. El precio muy caro para una casa muy pobre de condiciones, con una limpieza muy justa. Algunas zonas del edificio parecían en ruinas. No entiendo por qué si pido dos habitaciones individuales, me ponen dos con uso doble. Esperaban a 4 personas. Pero fue lo que hizo Expedia. Me pregunto si pagué el doble por culpa de Expedia.

Η επιλογη αυτου του καταλυματος μονο τυχαια δεν ηταν αφου βολευε την νυχτερινη αφιξη στην πολη για πρωτη φορα....
Αν και η πλατεια κατα τις νυχτερινες ωρες δεν εμπνεει σιγουρια και ασφαλεια δεν αντιμετωπισα καποιο προβλημα.
Δεν υπαρχει χωρος υποδοχης και παρελαβα τα κλειδια απο απο τον Λουκα ο οποιος καθοταν στο διπλανο μαγαζι που με καταλαβε οταν κτυπουσα το κουδουνι κατα τις 22.30....
Αφου πληρωσα ολο το ποσο επι τοπου μου εδειξε το χωρο και μου ελυσε καθε απορια. Ηταν φιλικοτατος.
Πρωινο παρεχεται σε παρακειμενο καφενειο (ενας καφες και ενα γλυκο).
Καθαροτατο δωματιο με ανετο κρεββατι,αψογο ασυρματο δικτυο και οροφοκομια καθημερινα.
Ο ανελκυστηρας χωραει με το ζορι δυο ατομα...
Θα το εχω σιγουρα στα υπ'οψην για μελλοντικες επισκεψεις στην υπεροχη Ναπολη....

Poor B&B in dodgy area
Stayed there for my birthday and Easter and was hugely disappointed. Room extremely small, a few centimeters beyond the bed. Walls dirty with spilled liquids. Shower did not work (fittings broken such that it fell down, runs out of warm water very quickly), breakfast basically nonexistent. Safety questionable. Staff does not attend guests well - more occupied with themselves and their cell phones. Do not speak English well enough. Was the most expensive hotel/B&B on my trip and by far the worst I had in a while.

Obiekt położony blisko dworca kolejowego skąd można dotrzeć poza miasto do innych atrakcji turystycznych. Tuż obok przystanek Alibusa dojeżdżającego na lotnisko.Uprzejmy personel, mieliśmy opóźniony lot nie było problemu z oczekiwaniem na nasz przyjazd, jak również pozostawienie bagaży w dniu wyjazdu. Pokój bardzo duży. Pokoje codziennie sprzątane. Śniadanie typowo włoskie kawa,croissant, porcja dżemu i czekolady, pakowane sucharki i paczuszka ciasteczek. Mały minus za urwany zawias przy desce w toalecie. Brak ogrzewania co w chłodniejsze dni wieczorem jest trochę odczuwalne w pokoju.

Meravigliosa esperienza in accogliente b&b dove siamo stati trattati da grandi amici e non come semplici clienti. Quattro giorni bellissimi, ma la sera rientrando in camera, ci sentivamo come a casa. Beppe e Lucia sono delle splendide persone, li ringraziamo tanto e siamo sicuri che continueranno ad avere sempre successo

Ottima esperienza. Comodo, economico, pulizia giornaliera ottima, personale squisito e sempre disponibile. Nel nostro caso (coppia senza figli) il titolare , per una permanenza di 8 giorni ci ha spontaneamente offerto la camera migliore (suite) quando avevamo prenotato una camera normale (peraltro già scontata). Quindi abbiamo soggiornato quasi gratuitamente. Che altro dire. Grazie ragazzi e BUONA FORTUNA.

入口が非常にわかりにくい。木のドアの脇にブザーがあるが、鳴らしても不在で困り、右隣のお店のマスターに相談したら、電話で担当者の若者を呼び出してくれて中に入る事ができた。

また、その後すぐ不在となり、次の宿泊者がドアの前で途方に暮れていた。
通りは日曜市をやっていて、多くの男性が屯していて怖い雰囲気だったので、夜に到着していたなら宿泊を諦めたと思う。
部屋の雰囲気は悪くない。

A localização é péssima. Local perigoso cheio de pessoas suspeitas. Chegamos de noite e ficamos muito inseguros. O Hotel esta localizado em uma área muito perigosa. Esta perto da estação de trem porém o caminho é bem complicado. De manhã tem um milhão de vendedores ambulantes estranhos. O elevador você tem que pagar. Fui cobrado 10,00 euros por fazer check-in após as 20:00. O café da manhã não pode ser considerado café da manha(por favor não leve em consideração café da manha gratis na hora de escolher). Eles oferecem apenas 01 croissant e 01 cafe/capuccino, mais NADA! O Hotel tem uma caixa de água de 40 litros. A água quente acaba no primeiro banho. O segundo a tomar é com água fria. No segundo dia de estadia logo de manhã não tinha água no quarto e não conseguimos tomar banho. O quarto em si é arrumadinho, conforme as fotos. Porém não recomendo e não voltaria.
