Almost perfect - but the beds...
The hotel's location is probably one of the best in whole Rostock. The view of the city is excellent. It's also in a walkable distance of the eastern part of the city (for example Petrikirche).
The rooms looked nice and clean. The service at the reception was friendly and very helpful.
What I did not like were the rather uncomfortable beds. I was disappointed by the breakfast, the fruits seemed cut already the day before and didn't look fresh. There was an overall good selection but not enough of each. The breakfast did cost almost 10€ per adult, so I expected much more.
The rooms looked nice and clean. The service at the reception was friendly and very helpful.

Loved the Warnemunde room!
We loved the Warnemunde room in Warnow Hotel--the wrap-around balcony with deck furniture, the great bathroom, and the spacious living room. We only wish we'd had more time to enjoy the apartment and to relax out on the lawn.

We loved the room, newness, nice design and the quality of the materials used and the workmanship, the terrace with a view, the slightly remote location, exceptional breakfast (don't miss it), and the welcome drink and other extras. The nearby restaurant (Rosemarino) was exceptional. We were totally surprised by how much we enjoyed our 12 hours in Rostock. Instead of what we thought would be an inconvenient side trip, we only wished we could have stayed longer. We will make a point of returning someday.

We were really surprised by this cute and modern looking little cozy hotel. We booked it for an overnight stay on our way to Sweden this Christmas (2013). The staff did not speak english as we arrived but was very helpful and understood every single word I spoke. I do understand some german, but rather not speak it because I just can't (never learned the language), so English was my way of communication. They understood everything, told me en german everything I needed to know and pointed me in the direction of our room. Boy was that a room! The hotel looks (and possibly is/was) like a newly built block of flats, with the purpose to serve as a future hotel. It's pretty modern, very good looking, and yet cozy! The rooms (flats?) are huge compared to other hotels in the same price range I've been to! You can see there's a lot of money invested (all the equipment in the rooms and the hotel/kitchen are high quality products), the staff is super-friendly and helpful, what else do you need? I did not ask but I'm pretty sure there is no restaurant on the premises, so this is just a bed&breakfast type of a hotel... But still! It's pretty awesome! Anytime I'm around or in the town of Rostock, this is the place I'll be booking, for sure!

Wir hatten ohne Frühstück gebucht. Der Empfang war sehr freundlich, insbesondere als wir Abends nach dem auswärtigen Abendessen den Nachtportier Wilfried kennenlernten und noch ein bisschen schwatzen konnten. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.

Mycket bra hotell, men ligger aningen avsides, lämpar sig bäst om man har bil. Under sommaren har dock spår- och vägarbeten försvårat framkomligheten. Viktigt att veta: restaurang saknas, endast frukost serveras, men bar finns. Likväl rekommenderar jag hotellet och dess trevliga personal varmt och bor gärna där igen

Vi ankom sent om aftenen da det var mørkt og hotellet ligger i noget der minder om et industrikvarter, så det så noget skummelt ud.
Men vores 1. Indtryk blev gjort til skamme da vi kom ind på et meget pænt og ordentligt hotel. Receptionisten var yderst venlig, og værelserne var pæne, rene og komfortable. Morgenmaden var fin. Der var ikke så meget at vælge mellem, men det der var, var rigtig godt.
Kan bestemt anbefales hvis man mangler et sted at ovenatte.

Es handelt sich ein schön gelegenes Garni-Hotel an der unteren Warnow. Durch die Lage im Gewerbegebiet und direkt an der Warnow ist es vor allem am Wochenende und vermutlich auch abends in der Woche traumhaft ruhig und mit dem außenliegenden Bar-Bereich und den Outdoormöbeln lässt es sich gerade bei schönem Wetter super entspannend aushalten... Wir waren sicherlich nicht das letzte Mal dort...

Tolles Hotel am Ufer der Warnow. Suite müsste sicherlich mal etwas renoviert werden (Tapete im Bad löst sich an vielen Stellen und die Silikonfugen müssen erneuert werden), aber das ist meckern auf hohem Niveau. Super freundliches Personal. Einziger Kritikpunkt: keine Verdunklung im Schlafzimmer durch einen tiefliegenden Balkon, der nicht abgedunkelt ist. Es waren dadurch kurze Nächte im Sommer. Gute Lage um Rostock/ Warnemünde zu erkunden.

Kleines gemütliches Hotel mit sehr freundlichem Personal. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber, gut ausgestattet und vom Balkon aus hatte man einen tollen Blick auf die Natur. Auch das Frühstücksbufett war klein aber fein und mit allem was man zum Frühstück braucht. Die Matratze war für mich persönlich etwas zu fest.

Das Hotel Warnow habe ich für diesen Aufenthalt in Rostock sehr bewusst ausgesucht - ich kannte die Lage direkt am Weg an der Warnow, konnte aber natürlich nicht wissen, wie cool es ist, abends und morgens dort in die Stadt zu gehen, immer am Wasser - und gerade am Abend ist der Weg dorthin fast schon magisch

Brandlarmet gick mitt i natten och blev väckt av brandkåren och sen igen tidigt på morgonen. Personalen hanterade dock detta mkt bra och strök vår restaurangbota samt bjöd på frukost. Rummet var väldigt bra för oss som var fyra personer, en mindre lägenhet.

Hotellet ligger vid floden Warnow utanför gamla staden. Med bil passar det bra och om du kommer med färja till Rostock så är det ca 15 minuter med bil. Trevliga rum som är olika i ett lugnt område.

Das Hotel liegt in einem Industriegebiet - das hat aber (ich war am Wochenende da...?) nicht gestört. Im \"Garten\" vor dem Hotel zum Ufer hin war ein Beach-Club, der bis ca. 22:00 Uhr Musik hatte - wen das stören könnte, der sollte vorher beim Hotel nachfragen. Von den oberen Etagen hat man eine sehr schöne Aussicht über den Fluss nach Rostock. Ich habe gesehen, dass es ein Zimmer direkt neben der Rezeption gibt: Das würde ich sicher nicht wollen...
Bei Ausstattung und Sauberkeit ist mir nichts negatives aufgefallen.
Zur Stadt sind es ein paar Minuten mit dem Auto; etwas laufen und dann Straßenbahn müsste auch gehen, das habe ich aber nicht probiert.
Mein Fazit:
Es ist ein kleines Hotel - also genau durchlesen, was das Hotel bietet.
Ich würde wieder hier übernachten.
