Fantastic boutique hotel. We stayed at the property on our way to a cruise and I've got to say this was amazing. As we entered the property we checked in at the bar which was quick and easy. Our room was large, clean, modern and comfortable. The hotel was near shopping, the rail, the cruise port and hop and go adventures. What more can you ask for? If you're looking for a weekend getaway, this is definitely a town you should check out and this is a hotel suitable for a romantic getaway or even a girls fun weekend. No matter what your adventure, this hotel and this little town should be on your bucket list. Don't miss the Penta hotel in Rostock!

Great hotel in the heart of Rostock

This hotel was an easy 10 or so minute walk from the train station. The reception was efficient and lifts to rooms very close. The hotel us very interesting with games rooms , bar etc but it is connected directly to a small shopping mall thatleads out to the main shopping street which is full of different shops and attractions and is car free. Plenty of places to eat as well. It is a short walk to the river as well. The bed us very comfortable and the bathroom is large and very user friendly. Large windows open if required. Only thing was that there was no bar fridge to chill drinks or a kettle. With no bar fridge or kettle you have to go to reception to get a glass of ice to cool drink or some hot water for a coffee. But all in all good place to stop prior to going to going on to catch a cruise ship in Warnemunde. The trip to Warnemunde is around 30 mins and only $2.50 euro per adult.

This hotel was advertised as having air condition in every room . A/C is one of our priorities we look at when booking a hotel. There was an a/c in the room , but it was not cooling , even after the front desk manager claimed that a technician has checked it ok after complaint. The manager further started a weird discussion about outside temperatures etc. The hotel room was one of the expensive suites , under the roof and baking warm at about 28 Celsius .
It was also run down , not at all as advertised in the pictures on Expedia .... even the manager admitted that it needs an overhaul. There was no way , so they claimed , to find another room/rooms for me and my two children. Overall very disappointing !!!
We didn‘t stay and checked in at the more comfortable and very friendly RADISSON BLUE.

We stayed here as a couple with our 9 month old and when we got there it was quite disappointing. The hotel itself was quite run down and in need of decorating. The room although very big, the same problem, very outdated. The walls were dirty and marked, mould in the bathroom sink and curtain shower. The shower was poor as the water pressure was bad and the bath didn’t hold water.
We stayed in one of the bigger rooms and although big, it had the same furniture as the smaller rooms so looked empty.
Location is great and the breakfast was good. The beds were big which was a good thing as the baby bed they provided was revolting and there was no way he was sleeping in that.

Clean and central. Overpriced for what it offers.

The hotel was clean and centrally located. The room was comfortable.
However, at the average price of ~88 euro I expected more. For example there is no mini fridge and a kettle in the room. Nowadays, these should be standard equipment for hotels like penta.
One more remark, the towels are extremely thin, so you have the choice to dry either your hair or your body. After that the towels is totally damp and useless.

Location is right in the middle of everyone. Such a cool place! We watched the football with many of the locals in the bar which has a tone of comfortable seating and tvs so you have a great view wherever you sit.

Dejligt hotel. Personalet var søde og imødekommende. Værelserne var gode, rene og rummelige. Sengene var meget behageligt og vores datter var virkelig tilfreds med standarden af hendes ekstra opredning, som var som en rigtig seng.
Morgenmaden var god og hyggelig - og udsigten helt perfekt udover gågaden. Hyggeligt område ved receptionen med poolbord, café og bar.

Läget är fantastiskt men standard är lägre än kvalificeringen. Det saknas bra läslampor, minibar/ kylskåp och AC är ganska dålig. Frukosten känns stökig och ganska ofräsch, bättre att gå ut och äta frukost, finns många bra ställen i närheten

Während des Aufenthaltes haben sich mehrere Personen über den Check in beschwert.

Morgens auf dem Weg zur Arbeit fragte ich nach einem Kaffee an der Rezeption, da das Frühstück noch nicht geöffnet war.
Ich sollte für den Kaffee zahlen, obwohl Frühstück mit gebucht war. Auch nach Erklärung, dass ich das Frühstück leider nicht nehmen kann, sollte ich den Kaffee trotzdem bezahlen.
Leider merkt man hier die Servicewüste….

Leider etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Die Schalter um die Auszüge zu rufen waren defekt. Die erste Nacht funktionierte der Fernseher nicht aber am 2. Tag hat der Techniker ihn dann ausgetauscht. Lage ist super.
