Great hotel

Great location near the ocean and many restaurants. Modern and very well maintained. Parking is convenient with ramp parking under the hotel. Only complaint is that the air conditioning does not get very cold but this is fairly normal in Europe.

The hotel is no longer Radisson. It has become a SCAN hotel so recently that the WiFi connection and all internal information is still branded radisson, and the Radisoin blu website is still active. But there are NO SIGNS on the street indicating this is the former Radisson. We drove around for 20 minutes trying to figure out where the hotel was. Then the staff at the front desk were incredibly smug and actually quite amused that we had had difficulty identifying the hotel. When we checked out, the same smug person at the desk told us that parking was free, put our room number on the parking card, which he kept and insisted we didn’t need anything to get out of the garage. Of course we got stuck at the barrier and had to call an attendant to let us out. Big mistake turning this hotel over to them—Expedia is always good about informing us of changes, so the hotel obviously never informed you of the change.

One of the best hotels I have stayed at

I always stay here at the Radisson when I am business in Rostock. It is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at with a wide and superb range of amenities. The hotel also is very close to the main shopping street in the town centre to provide easy access to local amenities.

-Sehr harten Matratzen, Liegegefühl wie auf das Brett.

-Die einzeln Kopfkissen sind sehr klein ( Baby Kopfkissen).

-Im Sommer ist die sehr dicke Winter Federdecke noch im Einsatz. Dann haben wir nach duennen Sommer Decken gefragt - bekame lediglich zusätzlich nur eine Allergiker Decke für 1 Person , 1,35 m breit, ( mit Klumpen drinne, noch dicker als die winter Federdecke ).

- Im Bad: das Kosmetik Artikel in Spender ist so angeschlossen, dass Mann kann kaum/kein Duschgel oder Shampoo beziehen. Also, kann man sich duschen nur mit Wasser( ohne Duschgel) .

-Kosmeticpapier Halter Kaputt---dass Ding fliegt staendig runter (is kaputt so Austauschen)

- Nach täglichen Reinigung das housekeeper hat vergessen wieder die 2 X großer Badetücher reinzulegen, lediglich nur eine kleine Handtuch war da..

- Im Kühlschrank stand Wasserflaschen mit Anhänger: „ Kostenlos für Mitglieder“..., welche Mitglieder? Sonst die Flasche Wasser kostet 4,50€.

Leider waeren die 9/10 Punkte (Super) von die ersten Jahren verdient, nun eher 5/10 (gehts in etwa) realistischer, allerdings es kam vor dass das Hotel auf Sparflame lauft und Betten, halb kaputten Mobiliar usw nicht mehr die erhoefften Qualitaet entsprecht.

Overall ok, but I expected more

The hotel is big and the room was spacious, with big windows to the harbor. It also included a coffee machine and a kettle. However, the air con was very loud, the TV was not functioning properly and kept switching on by itslef during the nights. Pillows were very small. The cleaning personnel came in the room without knocking the door. And on the leaving day they came before we had left the hotel. Other guests got a voucher for a drink on the roof terrace, but we didnt...

Super lækkert hotel. Flotte moderne rene og lækkert værelse. Super god service fra personalet. Centralt perfekt beliggende og med parkeringskælder. Dog skuffede restaurant Kai40 meget. Hele jule måneden kunne man udelukkende få buffet til aftensmad hvilket heller ikke var indbydende mest lignede kantine mad.
Sauna området er flot og lækkert men man skal ikke forvente det som en wellness oplevelse.

Der var kun en lille ting der generede alt det gode vi har at sige om vores ophold.
Personalet i baren om aftenen, manglede en del erfaring.
Vi havde bestilt to irish coffee, en uden sukker og en med sukker. Problemet var bare at hende der kom med vores drikkevarer ikke vidste hvilken irish coffee der var med og hvilken der var uden.
Ellers var det nogle fantastiske værelser og en rigtig lækker morgen buffet.

Frühstücksraum zu klein für die Zimmerzahl daher kommt es zu Wartezeiten für einen Platz, an einem Abend war das Personal in der Lobbybar sehr unaufmerksam und man musste lange auf die Getränke warten,

Fand das Zimmer richtig schön. Bis auf Konsole und PC außer mein eigener alles da was man braucht. Konsole mag ich zwar nicht aber wenn da eine gewesen wäre dann wäre es eine richtig krasse Ausstattung gewesen. Zahnpaster hatte ich selber und die Dusche war hervorragend. Die Zahnputzbecher waren aus schönem Glas und lagen gut in der Hand. Badarchitektur war sehr edel und das Zahnputzglas kann am Granit wohl durch wasserpantscherei festbacken. Ausblick ausm 2. Schön und aus dem 5. Ein Erlebnis durch Brackwasserblick und große Scheiben. Fenster hab ich nicht versucht zu öffnen aber bräuchte ich auch nicht. Klimaanlage bis max24,0°C aber falsche lüfter drin weil der ing. Mist gebaut hat oder der BWLer oder beide weil sie pfeifen bei 33dB in 1m Entfernung was nicht reparierbar ist. Auf 21grad wars gut und keine Geräusche von der Klima. Internet leider nicht zeitgemaß mit 2500-125kbyte/s also 20-1Mbit/s sodass ich meinen Laptop immer noch nicht fertig hab mit Steam und Programmen aus dem Netz sodass ich mir nun 8 Zimmer gebucht hab um schnelleres Internet zu bekommen in dem ich so andere Gäste vergraule da diese die Leitung blockieren^^ ich wünsche mir einen rj47 Stecker für lan-kabelinternet. Lebensrettende Schokolade kam auch geliefert und hab ihm 97,50euro Tip geschenkt weil ich das gern mache uñd an der bar ca 100% Tip weil ich auch das gern mache :) schöne leckere wasserFlaschen im kühlschrank mit Brause und super Shampoo,Leitungsperle ausgezeichnet und Bett angenehm warm.

Wir sind mehrmals auf Scanhotels City - früher Radisson Blu - gewesen, Wir reisen oft in Deutschland, und dieses Hotel ist das beste Hotel das wir je erlebt haben: Grosse Zimmer, hervorragende Betten = ein schönes Schlaf, ein höfliches und hilfbereiches Personal, gute Parkmöglichkeiten, und ein absolut superb Frühstücks Buffet. Wir sehen uns ganz bestimmt wieder!!!

Das Personal muss man eindeutig hervorheben, alle sind unglaublich freundlich und hilfsbereit.
Die Zimmer sind der Oberknaller, sie sind sehr modern eingerichtet und der Zustand der Möbel ist hervorragend. Das Bett und der Hafenblick waren fantastisch.
Die Parksituation in der Tiefgarage war auch sehr genial, man kann das Einkaufscenter mit Shops und Supermarkt direkt durch die Tiefgarage erreichen.

Alles ist sehr sauber und ordentlich, dieses Hotel ist auf jeden Fall uneingeschränkt Empfehlenswert.
Wir werden garantiert wiederkommen.
