wonderful people and place

We needed to stay for 2 extra days because of a health emergency, and the hotel allowed that, and the staff really went out of their way to help us.
The room was large and overlooked the sea and islands. The location is close to shops and dining. Breakfast was included too (except on Wednesday). The best hotel of the 6 we experienced in Korea. Of course you need a car in Jeju.

체크인 하는 순간 느낌 오더라구요 여기 괜찮다 ^^ 너무 친절하시고 입구부터 예뻐요 밤에는 더 예뻐요 바로 앞에 바다 !룸 컨디션 너무 깔끔하고 주방역시 대충한게 없더라구요 화장실은 곰팡이 냄새가 났지만 이정도쯤이야 문제될 정도는 아니였어요 기대도 안 했던 조식 먹으러 갔는데 너무 예쁜 카페에서 뷔페로 준비되있는거 보구 깜짝 놀랐네요 바닷가 보면서 매일 조식 챙겨 먹었네요 다음에도 여기로 오자고 친구랑 얘기하면서 2박3일 잘 쉬다가 왔네요
아쉬운게 있다면 실내 슬리퍼 그리고 린스가 없다는거네요

부모님과 오붓하게 휴가 다녀왔어요.

부모님이랑 셋이서 숙박했는데, 제가 숙박해본중에서 제일 깨끗하고 아늑했어요. 남쪽통창으로는 오션뷰, 주방으로는 한라산이 보이는 최고의 뷰였습니다. 숙박기간 자취도 가능하도록 예쁜 주방도구도 비치되어있어요. 동네는 조용한 바닷가라서 시내랑은 좀 떨어져있어요. 근처에 편의점이랑 제스토리(제주도 소품샵)가 있어서 애용했어요. 다시 올 의향 있습니다.

Not sure if the address on expedited is exactly accurate. Taxi driver from Jeju City acted like he couldn’t find the hotel in Seogwipo. Once we arrived I found a business card to give the taxi drivers so there’s no problem getting back to the property.

Very comfortable stay. Beautiful views from the room. Multiple levels and no elevator. The area feels very safe. Breakfast is good. Breakfast is available from 8am - 10am. Travel time is :30 minutes to Seongpanak Trail for hiking Hallasan. 1:05 to the Jeju Airport at 8:30am on Monday morning.

The hotel view is amazing, but the hotel needs to be updated. The back building may be newer but the front one really needs to be painted and change the old fixtures, etc. Our air conditioner didn’t work and it was in the evening so the mgr said he would fixe it the next day. At first he brought in a bunch of fans but after he saw we weren’t happy he gave us a room down the hall so that was nice (it was August so very hot). They did fix it the next day and they gave us free breakfast one day for the inconvenience. I think if they do some minor renovations to make the place better it would be a 4.

The place was very clean and the beds were comfortable. The breakfast buffet gave you 6-7 choices every morning. They allowed me to take a to go plate for my wife and daughter each day. The staff was polite and courteous. They spoke english as well, which is good since my Korean is bad. Close to the water and a quiet neighborhood if you are looking to get away from the hustle and bustle.

T Island resort is very nice the location across the street from a shore path and walking distance to many restaurants was great. The staff is very helpful. It seems to cater to a Korean clientele as we were the only foreigners there. If you are an American looking for services this may not be the place. The breakfast was excellent.

We were able to see the sunrise from our room, and the location was right on the water. Our flight was delayed and the staff was nice to message us, letting us know they would wait for us past their 10pm check in cutoff time. It was an overall comfortable stay (the bed was a little hard but we were able to sleep fine).

The view from our room in this property is so lovely.
We can see the sea from the front (veranda) and then Hallasan from our kitchen window.
The owner/manager was nice in assisting us carrying our luggage since there is no elevator to our room on level 3.
He gave us enough toiletries and extra towels since they are small. We appreciate the extra futton provided so we have enough beds to sleep on. Beds are nice and soft, we have enough space for us and our luggages. They provide washing machine and detergent too which is very helpful. Our family enjoyed our stay here.
We had everything we need, we would go back to stay here as long as we get the same side of the hotel.

Our experience

We had a mixed experience during our stay.
The location is right by the water and within walking distance to various restaurants. The grounds/room were very clean (except for a few dead mosquito splatters) and the staff we interacted with was very helpful and kind. They even waited for us to arrive at midnight and helped us take our bags up to our room, both of which we really appreciated!

My main issue here is that we’d booked to stay in the 2-bedroom suite which for approx £110 was really overpriced. It just felt like no love had been put into setting up the rooms – it’s just really simple and not very comfortable. Even though it’s meant for four people, the small sofa only seats two people. There’s no bedside tables or bedside table lamps in any of the rooms either. In reality the rooms are a lot less “shiny” than in the pictures, although that could have just been the horrible weather we had. There’s nothing wrong with a place being a little bit rustic - that can be extremely charming! Unfortunately, for us, it just felt a bit dated and far too basic for the price.

The kitchen is well equipped with pots, pans and plates and the fridge was stocked with water when we arrived. The bathroom was stocked too and the water pressure was good, although I wish the towels were bigger.

No complaints about the staff, but the place just wasn’t for us.

Things I didn't like: the resort is really far from the airport. There is no beach access. There is nothing major to do with in walking distance. The pool is very small and shallow. It's more of a kiddie pool.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! I was wary at first given the lack of recent reviews, which were mixed, but turned out to be for nothing. Breakfast is simple, the views were gorgeous, and the accommodations were clean and comfortable (FYI for the double deluxe room it’s a queen and a double and the fourth person can sleep on a thicker mattress pad on the floor which is provided.. or pay extra for a rollaway). Don’t expect luxurious 24hr concierge service like you would in the states at a resort. Sometimes it’s hard to find someone at the desk but it was always for minor things. And the washing machine was definitely a plus!

What a great B&B. Loved staying on a different part of the island and having a super easy check in and out process. The use of space in the room is efficient and cozy. Loved the portable water available anytime to refill our bottles and containers. Even though they're able to exchange your towels at your leisure, the size of the towels are more hand towel size. The pool is a good size and the breakfast is delicious.

The location is near the sea. You get to see scenery and enjoy the breeze. Staff here is very nice. I mentioned that I'm celebrating some occasion and requested for the room we used to stay previously, they arranged for us. However, due to some unforeseen situation, our requested was not available and they assisted to change to another bigger room for us. Daily breakfast is nice too. Our 3rd stay there and will go there again during our next trip. ^_^

Spacious apartment by the ocean

We were 2 families (4 adults, 3 kids ages 9, 8, 7) traveling together and stayed in Jeju for 4 days in August 2018. We booked a Royal Suite and were placed in Annex B (looks like the resort has 2 Royal Suites in total, Annex A & B), which is a 2-storey, 2 bedrm / 2 bathrm apartment. Though a bit outdated, it served our needs very well; the 2 floors allowed our 2 families to each have our own space yet still be together in the same unit.

What we liked:
- Nice quiet location by the ocean (note, not a beach) with a few eating places within 5-10 mins walk; we had rental cars but still ate some meals/snack nearby (Anoya, pizza/pasta place, Mango Holic).
- Breakfast included; not a huge spread but enough to start your day. We love eggs so really enjoyed the cook-your-own-egg thing.
- 2 communal washing machines, free of charge; they even provide laundry detergent.

What was lacking:
- WiFi; office gave me the network name but it never came up on our devices. We didn't complain since we had a rental pocket WiFi anyway.
- Cleaning service; office said housekeeping was every 2 days but no one ever came. Again we didn't complain since it wasn't that important to us.
- A/C unit upstairs was not strong enough to cool the 2nd floor (heat rises, you know). We augmented with 2 fans that came with the unit and that was ok. No issue with downstairs A/C.
- Swimming pool was just ok, not like the pictures. It was small and has no deep end, probably 3 feet deep all the way across.

Friends told us if we really wanted to experience Jeju island, we needed to stay in the south. They were right! This hotel is located in a small fishing village that still has a diving school for the famous jeju women divers. There are a number of small restaurants in short walking distance, including a stellar sushi restaurant, an amazing pizza/pasta/calzone restaurant, and a small pub featuring cuban sandwiches and beer-battered fish and chips. The balcony in our hotel room (304) looked out to the Pacific ocean and Tiger Island. Our kitchen window had a great view of World Cup Stadium and Mt. Halla. Rooms, more like apartments, were spacious, clean, and immensely comfortable. Hotel staff was always helpful. We didn't have a car and it really wasnt a big deal. The staff called us taxis for the Stadium buss stop when needed. Breakfast was great--all the eggs you could make and sausage you could eat. Otherwise, we just walked everywhere. Definitely worth the extra money for a southern coast hotel!!

Lovely boutique resort in village atmosphere

We read many reviews of lots of places before choosing T.Island resort. We knew that we would need a car and that it wasn't close to a city, but that appealed to us. The resort is in the most southern village of Korea which has a strong haenyeo (women diver) tradition.

We stayed in the Suite, 2 bedrooms with ocean views. Please note that the photos are not accurate. There is a photo of a closed in verandah that appealed to us as we have young children, but this particular apartment has no ocean view. We upgraded our room to get both the ocean view and verandah, so were initially disappointed, but we sorted things quickly with management. We were in Room A301 and it had great views. The beds were excellent, pillows, cleanliness and the kitchen had an excellent view of Mt Hallasan. We would suggest some more cutlery in the kitchen (knives and forks particularly), but overall loved the place.

The staff were excellent. Not all can speak fluent English, but we didn't have any problems. When our daughter came down with a fever, the staff went out of their way to help us. Joon and another young woman (in the office and who spoke good English) were excellent.

If you want to stay at a lovely small resort in a quiet location, with personable staff, and you have access to transport, then I would highly recommend this place.

The ocean view was great but that is about it. While all the other items may to be considerared as average, the breakfast was not to the standard of this type of facility. Juice, milk, one type of cereal, eggs which you have to cook by yourself, white toast, apple, unknown type of potato salad....that's all. I can tell they did not want to put any extra effort on breakfast while there were many family members with kids who deserve better food. This is typical facility called Pension, which does not meet service standard of hotel. You would have to clean the rom and dishes by yourself.

Recommended for those who would like to pass quiet time in Jeju Island avoiding crowded touristic groups, it's located on the southern shore of the island, in a local village for you to walk around and have fun. Nice and peaceful environment with friendly servic

This is my second time staying at T-island and i wasn't disappointed. My flight was cancelled at the last minute and i could only fly over 2 days later. I had to call in to cancel 2 nights of stay out of the 3 nights that i booked. It was a smooth process which was a relief after spending half a day stuck at the airport. As always, service was great. One of the staff helped to carry the luggage up 3 stories and he did it with a friendly smile. Breakfast was the same as before with a self help egg counter that allows us to fry as many eggs as we want. There's a long stretch of path outside the hotel that is next to the sea. This is ideal for morning or evening walks. Overall an enjoyable stay. Even though it was for one night, it was worth it.

Great place for a family

The resort seems fairly new and the rooms immaculate, well equipped and comfortable. When we arrived, no one was at the front office (and when the staff arrived, she was not apologetic to have kept us waiting with an infant) but we were assigned one room much earlier than the normal 3 pm checkin which we appreciated. We also liked the rooms themselves. The kitchen was fully functional, the bathroom spacious with a great rain shower and the beds very comfy. We were 3 adults and a toddler and could easily have used just one room instead of two as they were spacious and well laid out.

The breakfast was a practical selection of breads, fruits and make-your-own-eggs stations as well as a soup, porridge and cereals. It was simple and sufficient, well set up and the staff friendly.

Location was a little isolated from supermarkets and restaurants but with a rental car, there were plenty of places near enough to grab few bits but not in walking distance, at least with elderly parents and s toddler. The hotel offers a great view of mount Halla and stones' throw from the ocean and the olle trail.

All in all the stay was very comfortable, the facilities immaculate and the service unintrusive but available when needed. Do however make sure that the hotel fixes their central heating as our rooms' floor heating seemed to be on and this never got fixed even though the hotel was informed.

T-Island: Nice Hotel if price reduced by 20%

Well located right next to the beach and the view of tiger (?) island. The staff was helpful.
- Nothing is nearby the hotel, so prepare your dinner accordingly.
- A must to have car if you are staying there.
- The breakfast quality can increase to include few more Korean items and not just generic bread,butter,jam,eggs.

My husband and I spent the weekend here and it was very clean and comfortable. It's a little off the beaten path but we thought that was nice. It was still within 10 minutes of all the places we wanted to visit while we were there. The breakfast in the morning was pretty good. It was nice being able to make some eggs for ourselves and have some fruit and toast. The view from our room was great, if we went back we would definitely stay here again.

It was one night only. The nicest part is it is near the sea and you can see sunrise. But it is better to have a car since its quite far from main road. Amenities are so-so.Partially complete. One Microwave on each floor, no slipper or coffee tea in the room.There is no lift as well. The breakfast provided is minimal but enough.

I would say the price is due to the room size which is quite spacious and the seaside location.

My experience here was amazing. I jumped for joy when i saw my room. Beautiful, clean, luxurious feeling, beds are amazing & you'll never want to leave them. Breakfast daily is continental style where you make yourself eggs & then can have toast, coffee (a rarity in Korea for breakfast), salad, fruit and veggies. Oceans views & 30 ft away with old lady divers, big tourist attractions on island, but here it's just them doin their work. Coffee shops are in walking distance but not restaurants. E-mart like super target is nearby & you can cook in the room. I recommend staying here all your nights as it is quiet & relaxing, & close to all the southern tourist spots on the island. Staff are friendly & try to be helpful, but only 1 spoke great English. Most dont speak any. But thats everywhere. Hit or miss. I studied some korean so could get by, but i was the only American tourist. I did have a rental car that i banged the bumber on in their windy narrow driveway with limited parking spots. So to save yourself the hassle, dont try to park there. Just park on the street & walk the 20 feet. Driving speeds are 30-70 km/hr slow, so 12 km will take approx 1 hr to drive FYI. But it's easy even w/ korean gps. There are no elevators, but max 3 sets of stairs. They have American sized shower towels, also a rarity in Korea. Overall, i wish i could move in. Despite the accident stress, i loved being here. Also, not much night life in Seogwipo area. its all about nature here & I love that.

Nice and peaceful environment next to the sea

Me and my boyfriend stayed over during spring. The hotel is apartment kind of concept. If you need clean towels or additional toilet paper, you need to head down to the office to get some.
Location of the hotel is pretty out of the way. The nearest convenience store is a 10 min slow walk. There are several cafes just outside the hotel area though. The hotel is situated next to the sea. You can take slow strolls outside the hotel after meals. Very relaxing.
Room wise, it was very spacious. Ours came with a fully equipped kitchen. Pots, pans, bowls, plates, cups, cooking utensils were all provided for us. Each level has a microwave oven at the common area next to the stairwell (very convenient and useful). One problem we had was that we have to carry our luggage up the stairs as there was no lift. Also, our shower gave us hot water at intervals so we had to take quick hot showers.
Hotel staff are friendly. There was one personnel in particular, Dennis Kim. He was very helpful and not only showed us to our room but also carried our luggage up for us too. He speaks good English so communication wasn't a problem.
Breakfast was simple but adequate. They had a station where you can fry your own eggs which is pretty cool as you don't get such things in normal hotels.
Overall, the experience was great. The tranquility of the surroundings is a plus point especially if you are looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life. We will most certainly return. :)

Comfortable family room with chance to have a sea

Nice family room, comfortable. We were lucky to have the sea view among of 2the top of other buildings, eventhough the photo we have seen when we booked the room had full sea view. Things can be worse if you happen to be one floor lower. The room was very clean when we arrived but there is no cleaning service. You have to cater for your room. There is a fully equiped kitchenette so you can cook your breakfast or meal. Big drawback the lack of wardrobes in the room, so you have to keep all clothes in the suitcases. Breakfast was included in the price but it is very very basic. The atmosphere is relaxing. There are some small cafes nearby but not any restaurants.

Nice, quiet hotel

I watched the sun rise over the ocean from my bed. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Great balcony. Breakfast was good, with enough American food to fill up on. The Korean BBQ was delicious. Only problem for me was it was too far to walk to public transportation. But they called us a taxi every morning.

Big Rooms, Good (but remote) location

Room was clean and comfortable and big. Nice to have kitchen and refrigerator facilities. The place is located right on the ocean - which is great. However you need to call taxi cabs to come retrieve you if you don't have a rental car and you want to go somewhere. You are a 3 minute taxi ride from E-Mart and World Cup Stadium (where the airport limo bus 600 will drop you off). Breakfast included cook-your-own eggs which was a genius idea. I wish they would have left a few instant coffee packets and tea bags in the room to use with the hot pot provided. Also there was no daily maid service - which was OK for us but maybe not others. (Towel exchange at office whenever you needed it) Restaurant closed early which meant planning for dinner if you are arriving late. There are no other restaurants within walking distance of the hotel. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Staff in the office at night could speak no English but was good enough to get a English-speaker on the phone to translate for us and was very gracious to walk us to our room.

Overall a very good stay for the price.

Great view of the ocean

Clean, friendly staff, big room, comfortable beds, large space. Only negatives were that there was no elevator so carrying the luggage was a bit of a hassle, and the breakfast time started a little late (8 to 930) so those with early morning flights would not be able to grab breakfast before leaving. Other than that, would definitely recommend this place to others.

旁邊就是海，房間很大很舒適，但另一間裡面獨立的房間冷氣吹不進去，半夜有被熱醒
有提供早餐，選擇不多但吃得飽，公設還有撞球室跟小泳池
有室內停車位，但車位很少
管理室很不明顯，繞了一大圈才發現管理室在路邊的房間裡

오래된 느낌이지만 깨끗하고 편안합니다.
공실이 얼마간은 있어 보이는데 2층 쉽게 보이는 방배정은 좀 아쉬웠습니다.

방과 거실 모두에서 오션뷰라 너무 황홀했네요. 조식도 맛있고 외관도 너무 예뻐요. 방 내부는 달리기 가능할 정도로 넓어서 아이가 너무 좋아했어요. 분리된 방도 있고 없는 도구가 없을 정도로 완벽한 숙소였네요. 재방문 의사 200%입니다.
