Decent room size and amenities, however not sound proof, the music from nearby locations is very load. Weird rules, you have to pay 10 USD if you lose your room key. The restaurant is amazing, food is delicious and lively atmosphere, the view is absolutely worth it.
However you cannot go out of the hotel. The entire area looks like its been through a war

Perfect location. One foot closer and you’d step on the sphinx’s paw. The restaurant on the roof gives an incredible view of the pyramids (postcard type of photos). Great staff as well. I will definitely comeback to this hotel!!

All the above and when I asked the Front desk if I need to tip the the hotel doorman for helping with the luggage, the answer was ...NO SIR ALL SERVICES ARE INCLUDED...This Management Policy shows a Great deal of respect and commitment to the Tourist Industry and obviously reflects greatly to the Egyptian people overall.

This is a great hotel next to the pyramids, with a excellent roof top view of all the pyramids & Sphinx . Extremely clean & very comfortable beds for a great nights sleep. The staff was extremely polite and helpful for whatever we needed. Highly recommend this place. I came from Las Vegas Nevada, with friends. Dont hesitate to book.

We paid extra for a balcony room, the first night we didn’t have the balcony, we talked to the front desk and they tried to convince us we didn’t pay for a balcony, once i showed my voucher they explained my room had electrical problems and would be ready the next day, Definitely a scam but ended up getting a balcony room in the end. For compensation they gave us a free ride to the airport which didn’t really make us feel any better. Great view, good location.

We stayed at the Great Pyramids Inn for two nights and had a mixed experience. The biggest issue was the airport pickup. Even though we arranged it in advance, no one was waiting for us at the meeting point and the driver wasn’t holding a sign with our name. We had to search for him, and the car was parked far away, requiring a long walk with luggage and even going down stairs, which was frustrating after a long flight.

The room itself was very clean, but the window advertised in the listing was misleading. The room we received had only a tiny bathroom-style window facing a wall less than a meter away, offering no natural light.

The staff were respectful and helpful, and the breakfast served each morning was genuinely good. The highlight of the stay was the rooftop. The view of the pyramids is outstanding, and we enjoyed spending time there on both nights. We were welcomed with fresh orange juice on the first evening, which was a nice touch. We ordered Egyptian kebab and Om Ali for dinner; the food presentation was good, but the kebab arrived a bit cold, and the dessert wasn’t served in a traditional way.

Despite the issues with pickup and the room, the rooftop view and the cleanliness of the hotel made our stay memorable. With improvements to transportation coordination and more accurate room descriptions, this hotel could offer a much better overall experience.

This was a really nice hotel, especially given the price. It made it an incredible value in my opinion. The rooms were really nice and the Egyptian theme to the hotel and rooms were a really nice touch, especially when you arrive into Egypt for the first time. The location is also incredibly convenient now, given the new arrangements of the Pyramid complex, because the Pyramid Complex exit is 50 meters from the hotel. This has positives and negatives because it also means the nearby stores are all tourist trap stores and not local stores or restaurants. Luckily though, this hotel's top floor is one of the trendiest and nicest restaurants in Giza, so you don't need to go very far at all to get a good meal. We ate here once for dinner and the food was excellent, though expensive even by USA standards. I also need to mention the airport pickup when we arrived, which didn't go well. They were 45 minutes late and I felt stranded at the airport deciding whether to keep waiting or deal with the airport taxi/uber scammers.

Overall, I would 100% stay here again and would recommend this hotel to everyone when they come to Giza.

Our stay at the Great Pyramid Inn was truly memorable! The view of the pyramids is absolutely breathtaking…waking up to that sight was unforgettable. Wael and the rest of the staff were exceptionally kind and welcoming; Wael even upgraded our room since one was available, which made our stay even more comfortable.

The hotel itself is very clean and well-maintained, and the location couldn’t be better — it’s just a short walk to the Pyramids and the Sphinx. The rooftop restaurant is also a great spot to enjoy breakfast or dinner while taking in the stunning view.

Overall, we had a wonderful experience and would definitely recommend the Great Pyramid Inn to anyone visiting Giza!

Wow, what an incredible view from my suite window. I could see out to the 3 Great Pyramids and the Sphinx. You can sit in the jacuzzi tub and marvel at the Pyramids. The king bed and decor in the room were so beautiful. The best part was the service. The team at the front were so hospitable and kind, they arranged a breakfast to be packed up to go with me to the airport because I had to leave before breakfast was open. The view from the rooftop was stunning (I had to check it out before I left). I would definitely recommend and would 100% go back to this hotel next time I am in Cairo. Thank you to everyone who were so kind to receive me at 1:30 am. I felt safe and cared for.

This was my first visit to Egypt, and my decision to stay at Great Pyramid Inn made my trip worthwhile. I was worried about avoiding scams, food poisoning, and local dangers in general, and the staff there took great care of me. The food at the hotel was clean and reliable, the rooms were well-kept, and every service I requested of them was perfectly executed.
We decided to take a tour recommended by the staff, and it was a great decision. Our guide didn't try to pressure us and brought us to some less touristy shops. They provided a van for the day with a safe driver. It was a great value for the price!
The hotel also helped us organize other transportation which was much more safe and reliable than trying to organize it ourselves through Uber or taxi.
If I return to Egypt, I will definitely be staying here again!

WOW!! The view of the pyramids, sphinx & Giza plateau- UNBELIEVABLE!! View from the rooftop dining area is SPECTACULAR!! The staff is incredible- always helpful, joy filled smiles & will help arrange car transportation, any tour needs & offer their own tours. The food was good (again the views!!) Clean, free water whenever you need/want, good beds & accommodations. It’s located in Giza, right across from pyramids; about 30min to airport, 45min to central Cairo attractions. I had an amazing experience at this hotel! The atmosphere is welcoming and vibrant, and the location is unbeatable — the pyramids are incredibly close, offering stunning views right from the hotel.

The staff went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. From the owner to the drivers, everyone provided exceptional service. A special shoutout to Aladdin, the manager, who was extremely helpful with travel recommendations, reservations, and anything we needed during our stay.

Aly, one of the drivers, was outstanding — fluent in English, very knowledgeable about the area, and always willing to assist with local navigation and purchases.

The breakfast was delicious every morning, and the rooftop views were truly breathtaking. Just a heads-up: be cautious with people outside the hotel, as things can get a bit overwhelming. But once you’re inside, it’s a safe and peaceful haven.

Highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area — it’s a perfect mix of comfort, hospitality, and unforgettable views!

I enjoyed my recent 5 day stay at the Inn. The location is perfect, breakfast was healthy, my room was clean and the hotel was affordable. I envision many improvements to the hotel and area in general. Unfortunately, as a digital nomad, I was unable to work due to the poor Internet. I worked when there was low usage. When the bellman showed me my room, he did not explain how to turn on the hot water on for a shower so I showered in cold. The TV was broken and the assistant did not come to repair it despite saying he would. Also, we had a heat wave so I was working late in the night for the Internet then getting up early and napping around noon. I put my “do not clean” sign up but the assistants came knocking on the door offering fruit or cleaning services. This should be discontinued to honour guests sleeping time. One of the hotel managers also tried to sell a tour that was three times the price you can get online. He enforced his sales pitch upon entry which again is very unprofessional. Despite all these problems it is one of the best options in the area. I hope the management will take my advice seriously and seek to be the best hotel in Giza.

This was my second time in Egypt and I traveled Solo! It was PHENOMENAL , What made my trip 10X better was the service and genuine hospitality I received as soon as I left the Cairo Airport Doors ! Mohamad ! Greeted me with my name and drove me safely to the airport while telling about great interesting facts I haven’t learned , As Soon I arrived at the Door i received Great Service!!! The lobby smelled so good ! It was clean and welcoming! Ali greeted me with a Great Welcome , and my check in Fast and easy ! He also provided Great tour suggestions ! My room was clean !!! And it smelled so good as soon as i opened the door ! The Rooftop 700 /Akeim Restaurant took great Great Service to the next level everyone was welcoming and what I loved the most is how they all worked as a Real team to help all Guest ! Lisan always made my dinner experience great ! The food was so delicious and hot and fresh and the Fruit juices were always amazing with the added fresh fruit! During breakfast Ismael and Kamal helped me with great service ! Always brought me fresh juice and water and made sure to always check on me they would even speak even if I want eating ! It was amazing Time I can’t wait to Go back 12/10 Experience!!

Quality was average and the in-hotel construction all day was frustrating (with the addition of Giza complex construction all night it made it tough). We missed the light show because of misinformation on which language would be shown. But the location probably made it worth all the hassles and noise.

One of the absolute highlights was the incredible view of the pyramids—truly breathtaking and something I’ll never forget. The rooftop area was perfect for relaxing, with delicious food, attentive service, and a panoramic view that made every meal feel special. Breakfast was also exceptional, with a generous and flavorful spread that kept me going for the day.

I stayed at this hotel when I was in Giza. Upon checking in this place took care of me. They organized a driver , guide for my excursions , ran my luggage up to my room with a breeze. The view from the lever 700 restaurant was a direct view of the pyramids which was amazing. The hotel was doing some renovating while I was there but very understandable. Overall great place and I would recommend staying there. I didn’t wonder around the areas outside at night as it was too busy with street vendors and I didn’t want the hassle. I enjoyed just having a drink and enjoying the view which is exceptional. Finally the hotel organized airport transportation for me and the driver was early. Great Hotel

The hotel has a great view of the pyramids; however, there is construction near by and also repairs inside. We tried to take nap to recover from a long flight but is was impossible. We are a couple, so we requested a double bed with a pyramid view and we got twin beds instead. They moved us to a room with a full bed with zero view ( like a prison) and got a $25 credit.
We spent $600 in activities and still got terrible rooms.
The buffet had flies on some of the food, so we had no desire to eat.
Thankfully our guide and driver were very good and also the staff.
But the hotel leaves a lot to be desired, one bathroom did not a a shower curtain and the other two bathrooms were badly designed so all the water was around the toilet.
There must be better options in the area.

All in all I loved being there.
The property, two buildings put together, is a bit problematic.
At one point both elevators were down, one of them for the duration of the stay.
A couple of other building issues arose but were quickly resolved by the staff.
The staff was exceptionally attentive and friendly.
Deena at the front desk was terrific.
The Inn’s proximity to the necropolis is far and away the best part. The view was the terrace could not be beat.
You might treat yourself to a Junior Suite where you wake up with the pyramids literally at your feet.
The view made everything all right again.

We really enjoyed our stay at The Great Pyramid Inn - Giza! The staff couldn’t do anything more for you and were super friendly and helpful.
The view of the Pyramids were stunning and they were right there and the beauty was that they could be enjoyed while you are in the restaurant.
Food was delicious!
The rooms however needed some attention but was enough for our couple of days stay!

The big selling point for this hotel is their location, and the views of the pyramids are obviously stunning. Additionally, the hotel also impressed us with its fantastic free breakfast offerings and with how well maintained it was. The staff were also attentive to any requests and made us feel very welcomed.

The one downside is that their Wi-Fi was spotty and unreliable. For us it worked only in certain parts of the room (i.e. by the bathroom) and was prone to drop. Keep this in mind if you anticipate needing to conduct any important virtual meetings or otherwise need a reliable connection. However, this didn’t affect our overall impression of the hotel, which was very positive.

This hotel was great! The area around hotel is not walkable. The hotel staff will help you be safe. Nothing beats the view from the rooftop!

Pros: We booked two different rooms for two nights. One was the best room in the hotel with an amazing pyramid view. The room was pretty clean and complimentary breakfast was pretty good. I believe this hotel may be the best option in Giza unless you stay at the Marriott Mena.

Cons: There was a really bad smell in the bathroom that took away from the enjoyment. The staff sprayed and cleaned and brought incense which helped some. One of the overnight staff when we arrived wasn’t very honest about the amount of cats that hang around the hotel. We are animal lovers but my fiancée is HIGHLY allergic to cats to where it can be fatal. We stressed that and he just told us no cats but found three cats on our balcony. Overall other staff were really nice and tried to rectify it as best as they could. Make sure you book tours with certified websites before you arrive. They tend to overcharge which is typical for hotels but the tour experience is completely different. We didn’t get our moneys worth and felt like we were constantly taken to shops to buy stuff rather than touring sites we paid for which put a bad taste in our mouth first day in Egypt but got better as we went on other tours we booked on reputable websites. Stay away from the tours and you will have a good experience.

Outside this nice boutique hotel were piles of trash and litter. This somewhat took away from the great pyramid views.

Taxi drivers arguing at 6:00 AM immediately outside was a disturbance, but staff were able to get the problem resolved for at least two night.

I confirmed an airport pickup 24 hours in advance, but no one showed up. After a 24-hour flight, I had to arrange my own transport when they told me they were running 40 minutes late. At the hotel, there was no real apology, and although I was told the manager would speak with me to make it right, no one ever followed up. The room was basic, smelled of sewer gas, and was noisy day and night. The only highlight was the restaurant—great buffet, excellent service, and lovely rooftop staff. Unfortunately, I wouldn’t stay here again.

It was my time travelling to Egypt and I have to say Great Pyramid hotel is amazing. The hotel was clean and accessible, the staff was super nice and caring. The area is a little noisy but it’s right infront of a major tourist attraction which is expected but the noise wasn’t bad. We were able to do tours and get around Cairo and Giza with Alibaba who was amazing. So if you stay at Great pyramid hotel ask for Alibaba best tour guide and super patient. He waited until my friends and I took pictures was very Knowledgable and advised on safety and the best spots. He also took us around to various places and the cost was not expensive at all compared to other tours we took a look into. Overall I loved Cairo and Giza cause we were surrounded by good people throughout our stay.

IF YOU LIKE TO SLEEP DO NOT STAY THERE.

I booked a 10 night stay, I fell in love with the pictures on Expedia.

I was moved from the 1st floor, to the 5th floor and then the 3rd floor after complaning that I wasn't able to sleep. Always the same issue, noise noise noise. I didn't sleep for 5 nights. I had to book an AirBNB 30 minutes away and that hotel in order to sleep. They then refused to refund me the extra 5 nights that I had booked.

Only stay there for 2 nights max, it's unbearable

The views are amazing and you'll be 2 minutes away from the pyramids. Even if I returned to egypt I would book a hotel 30 minutes away

ALWAYS BOOK AN UBER WHEREVER YOU GO SO THAT YOU DON'T HAVE TO NEGOTIATE AND HAVE A HEADACHE EVERYTIME YOU WANT TO MOVE. EVERYONE WILL TRY TO SCAM YOU, EVEN THE HOTEL TAXI DRIVERS.

The Property itself is very well kept and updated rooms. The rooftop restaurant had the perfect views to the pyramids and sphinx especially at night you can get beautiful pictures. A plus the food and drinks were good.
