Great place if you want to stay close (right accross the street) from the pyramids. We were able to enjoy breakfast and dinner with a pyramid view. In the morning we were able to take videos before the crowd.
The only thing is that surrounding is noise. I was not able to sleep 1st night.

I had a wonderful experience at this hotel, mainly thanks to the excellent service. From the moment I arrived, the staff was warm, attentive, and genuinely focused on making my stay comfortable. Every request was handled promptly and professionally, and the attention to detail really stood out. It’s clear that customer satisfaction is a priority here.My flight got a few hours delayed, talked to Salama and they let me to do the check out with a minimum fraction of the price! I truly appreciated the kindness and efficiency of the team, and it made my stay both relaxing and memorable. I would definitely recommend it. 👍

All the staff were great. However when I booked a tour guide with them, the (tour guy) was hesitant to bring me to the ‘Hanging Church’ and keep repeating if I would visit the Mosque instead. And The Horrifying part was when he bring me to the ‘perfume store’ it’s kind of a house and he left me there. Then the owner (a guy) offer me for different kind of perfume, and I refused it and offer again for a tea. I was SCARED so I walked out and the SCARIEST part was the curtain was closed as well as the DOOR!
To EVERYONE, NEVER BOOK a TOUR GUIDE From the Hotel.

We enjoyed our stay in this hotel. The staff were exceptional and they accommodated all our needs. They treat us family there. Also if you need to book your tour go directly with them and they will accommodate all your tours. The room is clean and we have the whole balcony to ourselves.

The view is excellent!!!! You can’t beat the view from this hotel. The entrance to the pyramids is right across. Breakfast was awesome, the food is fresh and they will actually cook it for you. Me and my family will definitely be going back again.

Room clean and comfortable. Very convenient location. Neighborhood terrible and filthy with unceasing vendors. Very annoying to be harassed to buy moment walk outside. I am well accustomed having traveled extensively. Very loud wealthy party inside compound on night there at base of sphinx. Fireworks, canon fire and VERY loud music till 3AM. Other loud parties in area. Very loud environment. Staff tried to be helpful and were overall kind, but it is a very dated hotel in a filthy part of town that happens to be on a great and convenient location for pyramid access. 1 minute to gate with excellent sunset view. Realize what this hotel is and with that you will be fine.

If you want the perfect view this is the place for you. There are some stairs but the place is perfect, our room was on the same floor as reception, 2 xl twin beds, with balcony overlooking pyramids, free wifi, breakfast was included in our reservation but there are many food places nearby. The staff was very friendly and pffered a helping hand whenever possible. We were offered many tours around Cairo and Giza, but ended up just getting the transfer from the airport through them, wonderful service, the driver was very accommodating and found us at the airport right away, welcomed us and happily went over what to expect in Cairo during our stay, it was a great experience (thank you Ali!). Overall, i would deff stay here again and will deff be providing friends and family members with this place

We booked for the Panoramic View Room. The check in for us was terrible, the property manager greeted us /sat us down and pressured us to book with him for tours, he did NOT STOP, he kept asking why.. and would not take us to the room EVEN after politely telling him no (Mind you we just got out of a 12+ plane ride) after I stood firm and said No; he looked upset and took us to the room. Very disappointed how that felt for us. For the room, it had great view! We didn’t have to go anywhere to see the pyramids and the entrance to the pyramids is extremely close (30 seconds from hotel to ticket purchase and entry). Although it was that close, we felt that it didn’t compensate on the cons: The electricity went out for 45 min on day 1 and water went out for 2hrs on day 2 (8am) so we couldn’t shower / or restroom before our adventure, they said it was the whole area and they couldn’t do anything.

Would I pay here to stay again; NOOOOOO! I felt that I overpaid for the “view” .. for future travelers.. I would book a much cheaper hotel elsewhere that has more SPACE and better amenities with much better service. After this stay, we booked in downtown Cairo for WAY CHEAPER and the service was 1000% better. If I would do it again, I would drive to pyramids and soak it in on top of a restaurant/view and return to a hotel in Cairo.

The location was everything in this hotel with amazing views (depending on room you select).The room was a bit dated with window not closing completely causing the air conditioning not to really cool the room,but all in all i was very satisfied with my stay.The staff was very attentive and welcoming and willing to help with any questions or tours if you havent made plans.Sidenote you are right in front of the Giza entrance so you will be swamped with vendors once you step out of lobby but that is everywhere in Egypt.I Definitely recommend this hotel if your in cairo for Giza,waking up to the pyramids is in front of your room is beyond words

I don’t normally write reviews but I feel that this is the only way I can stop other U.S. travelers becoming the next victim of fraud or scam in Egypt on this property (Egypt Pyramids Inn). If you are traveling from the USA, please do not book this hotel! You don't have to trust me. You can book at your own risk and find out how dishonest this hotel and its management!

Still waiting for my refund even though we did not stay there just two weeks ago! Here is the last message to them which they are ignoring and now Expedia is helping us to resolve the issue. This is the 4th message to the hotel and no response yet:

February 12, 2025:

“Hello, You are violating Expedia’s terms and conditions. Please refund the full amount of (omitted USD) since you were not able to offer the correct room type and we didn’t stay at your hotel. If not, I will be reporting this issue directly to Expedia and make sure you are not able to commit further fraud. Thank you.”

Only for the view for one night

The only reason to book this hotel is the view. The location is directly in front of the Sphinx. Everything else about the hotel is very basic…just good enough for one or two nights at most. We ordered dinner and waited almost an hour to get the food. When it arrived the pizza and the kabobs were cold and we tasted dirt/dust on the food.

Very basic rooms with great views of the pyramid

Hotel and rooms are very basic but the view of the pyramid is excellent. That’s the only reason to stay here really.

Service and breakfast wasn’t great.

Location feels a bit unsafe at night - especially for female travelers. Restaurant upstairs very touristy and basic.

The property is well maintained and the view is wonderful of the pyramids. Please beware booking any excursions with the hotel directly. We took a tour of the Giza pyramids. Our Egyptologist Jackson was excellent and extremely knowledgeable. Our driver Hossamm went above and beyond. The information sent to us by the hotel quoted us a price of 95 dollars per person. It listed admission tickets to sites would be included. On the day of the tour I was told I had to purchase all entrance fees which totaled an extra 80 dollars for two people. When I spoke to hotel operator, he admitted to the mistake but blamed it on Expedia. He then, would not refund the entrance fees. I feel this was a bait and switch operation by the hotel. Beware booking any excursions directly with the hotel.

This hotel management fails to honor Expedia reservations. Despite reserve several months in advance and maintaining regular contact with them via Whatsapp chat, upon arrival, they sold our Pyramid VIEW reserved rooms and claimed they had no availability in the middle of the night. After a two hour wait, we were offered a room in a different hotel, which is being under construction, no lights, that rushed us to check out early morning. There was no front desk, and we encountered another couple facing a similar situation in the middle of the night. Staff members mentioned that manager, claiming to be the manager, frequently engages in such practices. Similar past situations by the manager confirmed by the staff and they see this as a matter of offering apologies and full refunds, without addressing the inconvenience caused.

We really enjoyed our one night here with our group of 8. It's a bit of an odd place as only part of the building is the hotel. But the view is incredible and the service is great. Mohammad the manager is friendly and helpful. The rooftop restaurant is amazing and the food was great, although it's not very fast. There were some quirks, like the water pressure was inconsistent but I would highly recommend this hotel for a stay with full view of the pyramids.

The Egypt Pyramids Inn has a fantastic view of the pyramids. The staff is attentive and its relatively clean and well priced. But there are some things to consider if you want to stay here:
1) Not all rooms have pyramid views, in fact most do not. The ones with views cost more.
2) Many people do not get the room they book. I did not get my pyramid view room on my first night, despite booking months in advance and communicating directly with them to confirm. Compensation was a free dinner at their restaurant (not really equivalent)
3) the area around the hotel is safe, but not the nicest area.
4) Rooms are on third floor and there is no elevator

Once I got the room I actually booked (pyramid view) on my second night, I was very happy with it. And the staff was always helpful. Breakfast was good.

While the hotel is nice you have to clime 3 flights of stairs above apartments to get to your rooms NO ELEVATORS. We were not given the rooms that we reversed. They tried to say it was an upgrade but it was not. We had an early check out and they said they would provide packed breakfast for us (which was paid for). When we got ready to leave there was no one available to assist. We called multiple times and no one answered so we had to leave the keys in the door and carry our bags down ourselves.

Location, location, location. The view and proximity to the pyramid complex cannot be beat. The room and beds were comfortable. The cleanliness was average – the provided toiletries in the bathroom had been used previously and there were minor housekeeping issues – no TP until we asked, for example.

Look elsewhere than the restaurant for dinner. Drinks: bad. Food: I couldn't say, it never arrived after 1 hour of waiting. The continental breakfast was sufficient but nothing special: a fried egg with bread and cheese. The OJ was fresh and good – the best part of breakfast.

Staff was friendly, although I guess there was a communication problem because on the last day we didn't get the taxi driver we had requested.

There was some street noise, so if that bothers you... Also the pyramids show that we watched from our balcony continues until about 9:40. It's not quiet. It didn't bother use, but take note. Egypt is not quiet 😁

Overall a good stay with a killer view of the pyramids and Sphinx.

The view from a panoramic room was amazing and we were able to watch the pyramid light show from the balcony, this is the main attraction to this hotel. The hotel is situated very close to the entrance for the pyramids but we booked a private tour along with other tours through the hotel. The staff were courteous and helpful. Food choices at this hotel was limited but acceptable. The area is quite noisy and i would suggest some ear plugs for a decent nights sleep.

I can not say enough good things about this place. We had a room with a private balcony (highly recommended). Views of the pyramids and the bustling streets below were fantastic! Stayed there for six nights. The staff is terrific! They are so welcoming, helpful, and just awesome! When you leave to walk across the street to the little market for a coke or snack or to go to one of the several shops in the area for souvenirs and trinkets, a staff member will escort you to keep the street peddlers away. It felt like having your own personal body guards! They were great and helped make us feel safe. The complimentary breakfast is delicious. It is the same every day but it's tasty and free so I'm not complaining. The restaurant also has great menu items for lunch/dinner, the lamb chops were excellent! Every day we would just watch the hustle and bustle of the street below or stare off at the pyramids and wonder in enchantment. The staff was really the best, they always asked how our day was, if we needed anything, what are plans were, etc. You could just tell they really cared about our experience. The last night before we left, some of the staff came and knocked on our door just to personally say goodbye because they wouldn't be there when we left (super early flight). I've never felt this level of hospitality from anywhere else I've ever stayed. Great view, great location, but most of all, great people❤️ Thank you, Egypt Pyramids Inn, for an unforgettable adventure!

The day manager was very welcoming and made arrangements for us when he found out we didn’t get the room we had paid for with a balcony. When we got there at 3a our room was given to someone else and we had to stay in a much smaller room with no balcony.

The hotel manager and staff were amazing to us after many delays in getting to Egypt. Our room had an amazing view. The hotel is right at the foot of Giza. Rooftop was spectacular. Breakfast delicious. It is many stairs to get up to the hotel and maybe not in the best area but the manager and staff made up for that. We never felt unsafe as two females traveling though. We really enjoyed our stay!

I DO NOT recommend. The area around the hotel is in a rough neighborhood. We booked a Luxury multi bed room and they gave us a different room. When we called it out to the hotel manager he did nothing. Insisted it was the right room but it wasn’t. In the morning while the staff were cleaning we could see the room that we had booked. There is a difference in price and they didn’t care.
The breakfast was decent and the views are very nice.

We stayed two nights and this was 2 too many as there was construction going on all night and well into the early morning. Didn’t sleep a wink. The view from our room was exceptional when you look off into the distance and past all the construction. The hospitality was excellent and we would stay here again after clarifying no construction in or around the site.
Staff apologized for the construction that was completely out of their hands.

I was very pleased with my stay at the Egypt Pyramids Inn. This hotel is more like a bed and breakfast, a small and cozy building. Due to it’s small size, you get the royal treatment. The hotel staff know all the guests by name. They have assistants on hand ready to assist with anything you need. It is like having a personal concierge at your disposal during your stay.

The rooms were excellent, clean and well equipped.
The rooftop cafe was excellent with an epic view of the pyramids.
The staff were very polite, professional and helpful.
The hotel is a few feet away from the entrance to the Pyramids.
The WiFi was better than any that I experienced during my 3 weeks in Egypt. Fast and reliable connection with no interruption in the signal. Can’t say the same for all the other hotels in Egypt that I stayed in.

I highly recommend this place. The service they provide is much better than what you would get at a large chain hotel.

The best view in entire giza

This is the best hotel in entire giza. The view is just amazing from my room. The sound and light show is visible but not very clearly audible from here or any other hotel/restaurant in the area.
Th room is clean without a lot of frills but with all necessary amenities. Will definitely recommend anyone who wishes to get a great view of the pyramids.

Highly recommend this place. We stayed in a room with a balcony overlooking the pyramids and sphinx, the view was stunning. Their rooftop restaurant also gets the same spectacular views. We had dinner there and got to enjoy the light and sound show from our seats while enjoying a delicious meal. The hotel is right by the entrance/ticket office for the pyramids, it's super convenient. The rooms are clean and spacious with a modern touch. The hotel staff was also top notch. We were greeted and checked in by Mohammed who was very nice, informative, and made our entire stay there very smooth. Mo was even able to accommodate us for an extra night during their peak season. Since the room we were staying in was the most popular, we had to move rooms, and in doing so we lost a gold ring. Mo did a thorough search and found the ring and returned it to us. Honesty like that is hard to find. You will definitely feel like you are in good hands at Egypt Pyramids Inn.

We arrived way before check in time. 9:30am. Manager said he would get our room ready as soon as possible. In the mean time he had us sit on the roof top lounge, that overlooks the sphinx and pyramids and gave my wife and I free breakfast as we waited! After breakfast the room was available. IF YOU ARE GOING TO SEE THE PYRAMIDS, BOOK THIS HOTEL!!! You will not regret it! You will be right in front of the sphinx and the pyramids, such a breathtaking view when you eat your delicious breakfast (order their mango juice, I think its the best one I've ever had) The rooms are clean and spacious. The staff are phenomenal-very attentive, helpful and friendly. They make you feel like family-we would like to mention the manager Moh for setting everything for us specially the tour--we love our tour guide Shareef. We recommend getting the tour from this property to avoid being scammed and ripped off. We became friends with most of their wonderful staff such as Aboode, Abdelraman, Mohammed (dayshift). They also offer pick up from airport to hotel and back-our driver Omar was prompt and very careful driving us around-do not attempt to drive, Cairo drivers and traffic is so bad. I'm so grateful that we chose to book this lovely property, without it, our experience wouldn't be so perfect.

This hotel really surprised us...in a good way. We had the best room with an excellent view of the pyramids off the balcony. The room was really clean and quite comfortable. The staff were excellent and the breakfast was delicious and included. We did a tour through them as well which was wonderful. Highly recommend... though if you are sensitive to noise at night note that it can be loud at night with barking dogs. Would not have changed a thing though. :)

They were always there to help us when we needed it and made us feel very safe and welcomed. The hotel had lots of tour options available which made it easy for us to explore Giza and Cairo. We were away from the traffic streets which was nice and literally an Uber ride away from the main city where we could explore things like the malls and restaurants. Our hotel room was amazing. We woke up to the pyramid view every morning and it was amazing. The roof top restaurant was very good and we were able to enjoy good food and drinks with an amazing view of the pyramids and sphinx.

Very clean!!! Staff was very friendly!!! Made sure I had everything I needed. They do offer airport pickup and drop off for a fee but worth it! Trust me also can have a dr come and get you your Covid test. Great view of pyramids I will be going back when I return to Egypt.

The property is just like at the nose of the Sphinx.
The best place to stay in Giza to see the Pyramid.

The Managers are very helpful especially Amir. He helped us book everything during our trip including the Airport-Hotel pick-up and drop off, A Nile river cruise, a trip to the Khan el Khalili Market, a PCR test and more.

He always helped us during the time we were watching the sunset by the rooftop making sure we are okay. If you need \"anything\" look for Amir and he will find a way to help you.

One thing about the expedia;
The website doesnt says you have to pay for the airport pick up. Its a bit misleading if you come from a place that hotel shuttles are free.
Well, $25usd for a 1hr ride from the airport is not that bad... thats for the whole car, 2-3people.

From my room, I could see the pyramids. From the roof, you could also see the pyramids and watch the daily life around the pyramids. They were very attentive to your needs. I loved it.

My daughters and I had a great time while travelling in Egypt. Our stay at the Egyptian Pyramid Inn was wonderful 😀💗I believe we had the best room in the hotel. The view of the pyramids was absolutely AMAZING!! The hotel is in a great location so its quite busy and can be noisy at times but quiets down around 10pm. The staff did a great job at organizing our tours and making sure that we were well taken care of while out seeing Egypt. We will definitely be returning and staying at Egypt Pyramids Inn. Thank you again to all the staff.

Our Second Time stayying here. We love it

Location location lication. The best lication. Laid back relaxing atmosphere. Room was clean. We stayed here last year and knew exactly wvere we wanted to stay this time as last time was soo unbelievably wonderful. The Staff really are the icing on the cake. Ibrahiem and Mohammad always walked us to the store as they did last year. They remembered us from our previous stay. We were so happy to see their smiling faces. Giza is such a wonderful magical place to stay when visiting the Pyramids and this place has the best staff and the best view.
