Regarding this hotel, I can say that everything is good, especially the view of the pyramids if you want to stay close to them. The breakfast is very good, and the staff are very kind and welcoming.

However, please note that if you are looking to book a tour, the hotel does offer tours, but I recommend booking through a website before your flight. The prices at the hotel are quite high, and the guide was not experienced, so it felt like a waste of money.

Overall it eas nice only one incident iIwant to mention we arrived at 1 am and with reservation , they didn't ha a room for us and try to give us a room in a hotel next door, but that hotel was sketchy and room was dirty and smell bad so we run out of back to panorama pyramids and I said you give me a room here or my money back, they told me to wait 30 minutes to clea a room and upgrade us with a nicer one after tha incidents the staying was very good

A new tradition…

I have taken 7 different groups to Cairo and have stayed in 4 different hotels across from the Pyramids. I have found my favorite! Wont look anywhere else when I bring teams back. The staff is excellent and NOT pushy! We arrived at 4am and there were workers there to happily get our bags to our rooms.

This review is a mixed review I will explain reservations via hotels.com went great arrival and check in went great as well . Reception greets you well and treats you nice but as soon as you get there their object is to sale you tours. Their prices are a bit higher than the ones you can find on Viator app which I also recommend . Anyways we had our tours already reserved and did not buy anything from them . We also requested to add dates to our stay at our hotel they said yes it will be ok but came back with a price of 250 a night when we booked it was only 112 and they where not offering the same room which we had a view to the pyramids they wanted to give another room with no view at a higher price. Well we decided to look at hotels .com once more and saw they had the same room and the additional dates available for the same price so we booked it online once more . The following day we went on our tour and when we came back at the lobby we started talking about our day I sent my kids up to the room and wife and I stayed to tell them the we had made the bookings online and not direct to them they asked to make sure we picked the same room because they had the room booked already but we stated tha it was the same room . Ok we will check they said. By the time I got upstairs they had cancelled my reservation and made all other rooms unavailable to book only what they wanted now this booking was made with over 30 hours of difference from the time we told them . Booked and fully paid for a 1 night stay at this property months for a family of 2 adults and 2 children, 7 and 4 years old. Paid for the top room they have with a pyramid view and 4 double beds, the luxury suite, as we had 3 birthdays out there.

As we arrived to the hotel after a morning at the pyramids, sphinx and other bits we were told they had given our booked room to someone else as they had wanted a longer booking than what we had booked for. Offered us a room with a 1 double bed or a room with no windows as a substitute, absolutely no where near what we booked or big enough.

All of this after a 6am flight from Hurghada and 2 young children. They were not interested in trying to rectify the situation and just offered to drop us at our follwing days trip to the Grand Museum for free, saving us about £2 insteaf of an Uber. Lost out on the tickets we paid for the follwing day at the museum as we had to fly back the same night.

AVOID. THEY DO NOT GUARANTEE YOUR BOOKING AND EVEN ADMITTED THEY DO THIS IF SOMEONE WITH A LONGER BOOKING REQUESTS THE ROOM.

They should be ashamed doing this to a family with kids.

We’d go back again!

We truly enjoyed our stay at this hotel! The terrace view was breath taking, especially when the sun was setting behind the pyramids! I’m definitely happy we stayed in Giza, and not in Cairo, which is way too busy for me. You are much closer to sights from there. As far as the hotel goes, breakfast was absolutely amazing. The amount of food we got was insane and really yummy. The room was ok. We are a family of 5 so when we got a room with no windows (!) I was a little bummed out but didn’t feel like I could ask for a different room, maybe I could have. The staff was very nice and welcoming! The bathroom (sink and shower) leaked, so there was water all over ….. but we saw an other room that didn’t seem to have that issue, so it might have just been our room. Either way, I think issues like that are somewhat normal there, so no big deal for us. We’d go back again mostly because it was so convenient, calm, the evening view amazing and the staff was all very nice!

Property was at great location, specially at sun set do not miss the roof top pyramid view. Fateh was great and he deserves a shout out for his great service and hospitality.

If you are looking for something near pyramids then this is your hotel but if you are looking to stay longer then I wouldn’t as the property needs renovation. Thanks again for making our stay memorable.

We loved our pyramid view it's literally just steps from the pyramid entrance. The staff was excellent and food was amazing. We had issue with our room and they were very kind enough to move us to Shadow pyramids hotel which was also amazing. Mazen and Shahinda and other stuff were great made us feel better welcomed.

I was not sure about staying here due to some bad reviews. It turns out that once you are in, there is no way to go wrong. The location couldn’t be better. Right in front of the sphinx. You are accompanied by the 3 pyramids, 24 hours a day, get to watch The “light and sound” show, almost daily. Of course it comes with the disadvantages when you don’t want it. The food are excellent! The staff are warm, friendly, and extremely helpful especially Mohammad (Tuffy), Ahmad, and Mazen. It is so very uplifting to know that young person like Tuffy who studied medicine in England is here and will continue his education when he earns enough fundings. Clearly, Egypt is going throug tough time, (garbage everywhere) but with these wonderful young people, they will rebuild their country. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay there.

A stay beyond my expectations

My experience was totally different from the reviews that I saw in multiple traveling platforms. The receptionist was kind and we got the room I booked in Hotels.com. I could see 3 Pyramids and Sphinx directly in the room. The rooftop offered a better view and nearly no blockes in front of my eyes. Before checking in, I worried a lot what if no room available. Some people said in their reviews that they waited for a long while till their rooms got ready, and some were even arranged to another building. Almost all inns near this one were reviewed something like this. I personally would like to stay a bit farther after seeing all of those. My girlfriend prefered a direct, near, and good pyramids view. I had to prepare a backup then. Fortunately, that didn't have to be used. After check out, we received a bunch of postcards and two pieces of decorations of profile from the hotel. What a hospitality! We were also introduced with several traveling activities such as camel riding when checking in. There was no problem though we didn't choose any but staying in the hotel, and no tipping was obviously required there.
The cleanness was adequate. Decorations was so so considering the price, but the view and distance is quite good. Then the price was acceptable.

Beware! This hotel is a scammer!

We booked a Luxury Suite room but when we reached the hotel we were told that the particular room was already booked and someone was occupying it already. They gave me a downgraded room without any compensation. When I questioned about how double booking is possible for one room, they said it's a mistake by the website which I definitely don't agree with. If it was overbooked they had all the possibility to cancel it well in advance as I had booked a month ago.

Looking at the earlier reviews I just noticed that this hotel has scammed many other guests in the same way.

So I strongly suggest you to stay out of this hotel.

I'm also making an effort to delist this hotel from Hotels.com.

This hotel ruined my cairo honeymoon. Booked and paid for the luxury suite months in advance. 3 night stay. Arrived after a long day of travel and touring and my room was \"unavailable\". They made me pay for the transfer from the airport which they previously told me it was covered due to staying 3 nights. 700 EGP
Given free dinner as an apology and a guarantee my room would be ready in the morning. Room was so tiny there wasn't even enough room to pass through with a suitcase. Told to pack up all our things and the staff would move them while we were out on our tour. I found the email where they told me they would cover the transfer and got my money back. Dinner took almost 90 min after we ordered.
Arrived back exhausted after another day of touring to the same apologies about the room Told it was expedias fault. Not true. Given a room in the hotel next door, still not as nice as what I had booked but slightly bigger. However it was under construction which started early in the morning. Power went out, constant banging etc etc That hotel then told me we had to leave as the room was booked, offered the same closet back at the panorama again. No apologies, nothing. Called expedia, got a refund and moved to yet another hotel. So my honeymoon was spent packing and moving around, arguing with staff that didn't care and not enjoying the view from the balcony that I had booked and planned for.
In short, there's a ton of hotels with views, avoid this one

We are a family of 6 and 4 of them are kids under the age of 5. We booked the room that fitted 8 so we would be comfortable. As soon as they gave us our room they gave us 2 rooms both that where not even connected, one was across the hall. We spoke to them multiple times we can’t be separated and they said because our booking only said we had 3 kids they had to move us. I didn’t know our infant of one year counted as an adult. We tried to pay for her as an adult in the front desk but they wouldn’t let us and just kept saying that’s all they can do. We payed extra for the suite but ended up in the smallest room for they same price as the most expensive. Didn’t even offer a refund or try to fix it. Only chose this property for the pyramid view and balcony. Got a windowless room and one with a tiny window.

My experience at this hotel can only be described as an unmitigated disaster. Right from the start, things spiraled downhill. Despite confirming an early check-in, I was told on arrival it wasn’t possible and was forced to book an additional night in a disgracefully dirty room. The toiletries? Used. The bedding? Questionably stained.

Having been promised a room move by noon the next day, the goalposts kept shifting. First, it was 3pm. Then, they had the audacity to suggest we might remain in that same dismal room, a far cry from what we’d actually paid for. The alternative? A subpar hotel that couldn’t hold a candle to our original booking in terms of view or quality. We graciously accepted, thinking it would be a temporary solution. Wrong. The runaround continued the next day with more broken promises.

To add insult to injury, upon returning to the original hotel, they had the nerve to say our room wasn’t available AGAIN. The debacle was never-ending. In the end, we had to move to another hotel, costing us both time and money. The cherry on top? Their miserly refund offer of 2 nights out of a 6-night stay we NEVER experienced. And if the booking fiasco wasn’t enough, the state of the linens and the quality of the beds were absolutely appalling.

To all prospective guests: steer clear. Save your money, time, and sanity. This hotel is not worth the ground it’s built on. And let me add: there are a plethora of other hotels around that are infinitely more deserving.

Think twice before booking

The room we booked was not available till the last day even though this was confirmed prior to my visit. Rather than a suite which was orinifnally booked, they provided two rooms and the difference was not refunded. On the last day the suite was lrovided and that made the last day significantly better. If the room booked was provided from day 1, this would be a positive review. Unfortunately it wasn’t.

Hassan in the roof top cafeteria was brilliant. He went out his way to serve and was a refreshing change.

My recommendation to anyone wanting to book this hotel is to fully validate ahead of the trip that the room booked is available. Have this in writing with option for full refund in the event if this is not.

If you want to wake up each morning and see a pyramid out your window it's worth the few extra pounds. Tip don't buy tickets for the light show as you get a better view from the roof top restaurant. They haven't rooms (like Deluxe Triple with 3 double beds) as at Expedia description. Down grade the room without noting the guest, like you live room keys for cleaning and found all your things moved to another room, which is without windows at all. The front desk staff just ignoring the guest. The smell of horses everywhere.

Staff were all lovely, from Ola making checking in easy, Hassan with the amazing breakfasts, Ali making sure everything was clean and tidy. The location is superb, a one min walk to the necropolis plateau. The rooftop dining area has amazing views of the pyramids and sphinx, and you get to see the light and sound show from there for free. The hotel also can arrange tours for you and they do not pressure you into buying. Food was lovely, milkshakes are freshly made and awesome, free bottled water (needed in the heat). All in all, recommend highly.

Ok, so this hotel apparently ticks all the boxes. Right next to the sphinx, roof terrace with restaurant overlooking the pyramids, clean rooms, great breakfast etc. Thats until you notice THE NOISE.

You see, in this hotel you can have either a standard back room, without window and a claustrophobic atmosphere. Or you can opt for a superior front room overlooking the pyramids. But then you also overlook the parking area for tour buses that are idling throughout the day. In the afternoon and at night the dogs take over, huge packs of dogs fight it out, barking and howling. Add to this constant honking and street chatter and top it all off with paper thin walls and windows that doesn´t close, and you have the noisiest hotel experience I´ve ever had. The solution is to opt for a cell-like back room without window.

The staff do their best to try to compensate this by eagerly offering service, welcome drink, being helpful etc. But this ended up feeling a little pushy. I was also disappointed to find out that instead of giving me accurate information about the opening hours for the pyramids ticket office, the reception staff tried to convince me to join their tour. (The ticket office opens at 7, not 8 as he insisted).

In the end, I ended up moving to a different hotel in central Cairo, as the whole experience of being in Giza and the pyramids felt like a total tourist trap. Sadly this important historical site has become a kind of Disneyland, just without the rides.

When we arrived at the hotel, unfortunately, our room was not available as it had been oversold, and we were given a lower category room. The next day, we were offered to move to another hotel owned by the same company just a few meters away. We had paid for a room with a view of the pyramids, which we never got. We asked to speak with the manager to request a refund for not having the promised view, but the manager never showed up to address our concerns. The employees did not have the power to resolve this issue either. The surrounding area is filled with dirty streets because it is a resting place for camels during the day, making it a total mess. We had a terrible experience and would never return. The only redeeming factor was the view of the pyramids from the breakfast terrace, but it did not make up for the overall disastrous experience.

Average stay next to the pyramids

The hotel is situated very close to the pyramids which is great and the breakfast is also very big and tasty.

We booked a room that didnt face the pyramids and there was no window in the room facing outside, just a small one facing the hallway. There is very insulation so you can hear other doors opening and closing that continued throughout the night. The room was also dated, with an old bathroom and decor.

The price for food and the day trips were also a bit pricy.

We booked and paid for the luxury suite for six people but were put into two double standard rooms without windows (!) in the hotel next door (Great Pyramid Inn). No explanation was given whatsoever, we were shoved into the rooms and that’s it. When we went down to the reception to ask about this, we were only offered a free airport transfer since they were apparently not able to refund us as we paid via Expedia. Felt like a complete rip off and tourist trip, would not recommend going here. And if you have to, book the cheapest room as you will most likely end up with that anyways.

The Essence of Egypt

The good: Staff extremely helpful and nice, breakfast at the rooftop with Pyramids view - outstanding. Breakfast staff exceptional. Pyramids view from room not as good but still very nice. Right beside side entrance to pyramids, you can observe morning hassle of hustlers on camels and horses rushing their way to start another day herrassing tourists. Very real experience.

The bad: we were placed in hotel next door not the booked hotel. Very noisy, impossible to sleep, paper thin walls. We were moved to another, smaller room with only one bed while out from hotel without warning with some items left in drawers. Next night they tried to move us again to even worst room without balcony but fortunately we were at hotel. Looks like they overbook then juggle customers hoping all will work out. Dodgy neighborhood.

You cannot beat the view if you have a pyramid-view room. In the morning you can see camels in the street. It's a nice enough hotel...I would say it's a 3* hotel. It's dated but gives the experience of being in Egypt.

The rooftop restaurant has the breathtaking view of the pyramids. Breakfasts are amazing. Food is very reasonably priced and the wait staff are great.

The view at the roof top is amazing and the breakfast is sumptuous with Hassan doing a great job.
You can hear everything from the room. The dogs barking, people talking, horses running, the cars passing from the street and doors banging from the wholeway. The bathroom is very small, you have no room for your legs if you sit on the toilet so you have to sit sideways. The water leaks from the shower glass wall so the whole floor will be very wet after taking a shower. I stayed 2 nights in this Hotel and in my booking, it’s written that I have 1 free airport transfer but when I ask the hotel, they told me they only give it for 3 nights stay. I showed them my booking but they said, ebookers wrote that not them. I think it’s also time to change the mattresses, they have a lot of unpleasant discolorations.

The hotel room was lovely and we had a beautiful view of the pyramids from our pyramid view room booking. The included breakfast was wonderful and the staff who work there are very friendly and helpful especially Hassan at the rooftop restaurant, Moses, and Yassir the concierge. Yassir was very informative on the first day about the area and available tours during the free welcome drinks. Everyone at the hotel has a high level of hospitality. You have an incredible view of the pyramids and can see the pyramids sounds and lights show most evenings from the rooftop restaurant. My husband and I enjoyed our time there and it’s amazing proximity to the pyramids was a bonus. The only issue was outside the hotel, the stray dogs in the streets can be a little bit noisy at night but I was prepared with earplugs and recommend bringing some to any hotel in the area.

The staff are kind but the final balance of our stay was not great.
When we arrived there was confusion regarding the payment we had already paid in advance but they charged us again. We managed to resolve it after contacting hotels.com.
However, when we left when unpacking my bag I realized that a toiletry bag was missing with several things inside and it was a special objective.
I reached out and the hotel did nothing but apologize.
Overall I would recommend it but after that I was disappointed!

This was such a great hotel! The view from our balcony was incredible. The staff was so attentive and welcoming. There’s no elevator and one of the staff members, Alibabba, carried our luggage for us and made sure we had everything we needed. On the rooftop Hassan took great care of us serving an incredible breakfast that was included in the stay. Our welcome drinks were also delicious. The Wi-Fi was down and staff even helped share hotspots for us. Everyone was amazing and very hospitable. Would stay here again!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Panorama Pyramids Inn in Giza, it was an experience that exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I arrived, I was struck by the warmth and hospitality of the staff, who went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable and memorable.

One staff member in particular, a lady named Ola, truly stood out for her exceptional service and attention to detail. She was always available to answer any questions I had and made sure that all my needs were taken care of. Her friendly and kind demeanour made me feel like a valued guest, and I am truly grateful for her assistance during my stay.

A highlight was undoubtedly the stunning pyramid view, which I could enjoy from both my bedroom and the rooftop terrace, this is something that I will never forget.

The breakfast on the rooftop terrace was amazing, you will not go hungry. The variety of dishes and quality of food was impressive.

The only suggestions I have for improvement would be is to have heaters on the terrace, this would add more comfort during the cooler seasons. A hairdryer in every room would also be beneficial. However, this is a very minor issue compared to the incredible experience I had.

Overall, my experience was exceptional, I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Giza. The amazing staff, the pyramid view from the bedroom and rooftop terrace, and the amazing breakfast all contributed to making this hotel a must-stay for anyone visiting Egypt.

We loved the proximity to the pyramids and the amazing view from the terrace. The room was basic but always clean. Ali did an amazing job keeping everything clean. Hasan was amazing always having coffee and snacks and a ready smile ready everytime we went to the terrace. Breakfast was amazing. Ola also made us feel at home. Would definitely recommend this hotel for visiting the pyramids and elsewhere. Watching the sound and light show from the terrace was also a highlight for us.

Be aware, staff steals personal belongings!!!
Location is good. Bed sheets were clean but mattress and pillows were incredibly filthy. Breakfast was good. All tours were overpriced comparing to other places, tour guide took us to side businesses like fake papyrus factory, complete SCAM, overpriced by x20!
On the last day some personal belongings were stollen. Stay at your own risk.

I loved my stay at this hotel. The view of the pyramids from the roof top and the room was a big plus. Staff were always helpful, food was delicious and the restaurant server Hassan did an excellent job feeding us. The only downside is that there is no elevator in the facility and that we were placed in a room with no pyramid view for one of the nights we payed for the view. Nevertheless, they moved us ajd gave us a refund for the difference which is highly appreciated. Friends are already asking about the place, and I recommend it.

Inconvenient location and very poorly maintained hotel. Scam artist manager gave our rooms away and switched us to a different place charging $25 for a complimentary cab ride from the airport and $15 extra for the room. Recommend trying someplace else.

It's a beautiful hotel in an incredible location - literally
right next to the pyramids 2 min walk from the visitor centre.

Everyone's very helpful and polite.

The breakfast is AWESOME. The restaurant at other meal times is also very nice and resonably price.

Our room was clean.

Certainly this is a great place to go if you want to be fancy. And I think it's pretty reasonably priced (was ~£60 for each of us/night), given how fancy it is.

Free hot drinks, mineral water, fruits anytime at the restaurant.

We booked a day tour with the hotel and it was a good experience with Joe our tour guide.

The view is amazing-- nothing else really matters. There was hot water, clean towels, air conditioning, everything you normally take for granted but the main thing is the view, and this place delivers.

Rooms could have been soundproofed a little better I guess, you can hear people walking around the hall like they're inside your room. But so what? The view is amazing. Great, super inexpensive place to stay for a day while doing your pyramid tour

First night was in another hotel?

So this was actually the hotel I had been most excited for! Booked our room back in November for a view of the pyramids! When we arrived my friend and I were told we were receiving an upgrade. We were led to a hotel two buildings down only to be brought to a room with a window with bars on it and the view is a random shaft (see attached picture). When we went back to Panorama Pyramids Hotel, we were told the price I paid was too cheap for a Pyramid View, but they’d look into it. My friend and I spent about 4 hours exploring or walking around with no answer. I again reached out and was told the mistake was on the end of Hotels.com. For the first night we were essentially SOL, all the views with the pyramids were sold out. Speaking with a few locals at dinner we were told these rooms are for students, not guests. I have a hard time believing I’m the first person to have this problem through Hotels.com. If it is truly an issue with that it should have been resolved.

For the problem at hand, they did however offer to compensate with a free meal, and the next day we did get our pyramid view, however this was a once in a life time trip for my friend and I and we were extremely disappointed with the customer service, I felt like an annoyance for fighting for my room.

This “hotel” is the worst I’ve ever stayed at and I’ve stayed all over planet earth. What made it really bad is how dishonest and slimy the management is. They lied to us about transportation to and from the airport, as well as about the tours. This was beyond bad.

Bait and switch

The hotel is decent. Location is great. Great view of the pyramids. The people were all pretty nice. The one issue is they did a bait and switch on us. Though we checked in well after check-in time, our room was supposedly not ready, so they gave us keys to another room to \"rest in\" while we wait. We went to the roof and just stayed there and enjoyed the view and snacks. A while later, our room was ready. We rented one that looked and sounded good online. What we got was a much smaller, dingy, dark room with no window or shower door/walls. We particularly wanted decent space and 3 beds. When I questioned this, they said I got a standard room. If I wanted a window I had to upgrade - essentially to a room like the one they gave us a key to at checkin. Sure enough, that room, was nice, bright, big and clean with a bigger bathroom that had shower walls and door. Had we been in that room from the beginning, everything would've been great. Instead, I have to give an \"ok\" rating. One other issue I had was that the amount of food was enormous and we just couldn't eat all of it, so we requested not to get so much the other days, but still did so much was wasted (hopefully they donated it to someone in need or the strays).

Very disappointing booked 2 nights but stayed one

This is at very best only a 2 star hotel but really a 1 star. We booked for 2 nights but left after the first night.

The hotel is very run down and dirty.

We paid extra to have a “deluxe double pyramid view” i shudder to think what a none deluxe room was like !!

In our “deluxe” room the bed was dirty and the windows didn’t shut properly along with this the noise outside was horrendous
The air conditioning was broken the television wouldn’t work
Dogs barked just outside all night long we had zero sleep. Not a good night at all !

On a plus point
The roof terrace with pyramid view is a nice place to spend the evening watching the light show. We enjoyed a reasonable meal here though it must be noted that the hotel doesn’t sell any alcoholic drinks.

The only reason this is not a 1 star hotel is that the staff are especially friendly, helpful and welcoming.

We have traveled all over the world and stayed in hundreds of hotels alas this is probably the worst.
We booked here after reading the reviews and alas many of these are not accurate

All this said the Pyramids are amazing to see

We came to Egypt wanting to play it by ear, the only thing we knew was were we’d stay.
The hotel accommodated our every need.
From helping plan tours & setting us up with such an amazing tour guide lamia, She educated us on the beautiful history of Egypt & was great with my friends toddler.
To our everyday server Hassan who made sure we were well fed & taken care of, we had days of staying in & he would bring our breakfast to our room, always with a smile on his face. He made us feel like no request was too big & he was truly there to serve us.
To our room service & staff Alibaba & Muhammad made sure our room was always clean, we had fresh towels, water, and filled any amenities we needed.

The bad:
1-we booked a pyramids view room for 1 night. the pictures showed a beautiful terrace. We didnt get any options on Expedia for a balcony one. When we arrived, it turned out to be an old room with a modest size window where you can see no pyramids from when in bed. Only when standing or sitting upright. When we asked for an upgrade for this mystical balcony room, they told us to wait but they never got back to us on availability. Around 5ish we asked, they said oh its not available.

2- The room is absolutely horrific. Not sure if all rooms on first floor are the same, but we stayed in 101 and it smells like sewage (it probably is sewage). We thought this is how Egypt's water smelled like, but trust me, its not. The shower box leakes water all over the bathroom when you take a shower. You need to hold the water kettle button while heating water. The bedding and pillow covers got dusgusting stains (we also thought its normal in Egypt, but being in the Kempenski now we can say this is NOT how hotels are).

3-to top it all off, we booked for a carte with a horse ride in pyramids, 400 EGP for 2 hours, with a guide. What a joke that was on us, the \"guide\" went up the hill so fast and finished the tour in 40 minutes, AND ASKED FOR A TIP. I told him we booked for two hours we want him to take us to the panorama view again. He started screaming, and left us on top.
The good: location!

I've been to 12 countries and hundreds of hotels and this has been the worst hotel experience I've had. I booked 5 rooms WITH vIew to the pyramids. When our family of 10 arrived to this place, we were given 2 rooms at this hotel and the 3 other were sent to another hotel a few buildings down the road. We were soooo tired that at the point, we didnt care even though we had paid for Panorama Hotel. The rooms were filthy dirty, ugly, no windows, full of water...JUST DISGUSTING. Three of the rooms did not have water and in one of the them the bathroom ceilling collapsed!!! The worst part is that the Panorama hotel Manager was present thru all of this and didnt even move a finger neither apologized for all this. He just didnt care and was on his phone all the time. If I have a bad experience, I usually just ignore it and dont care to write a review. But for this one, I couldnt let it pass. PLEASE TRUST AN HONEST PERSON THAT HAS TRAVELLED THE WORLD....DO NOT STAY HERE. I was so embarrased and upset that I forgot to even recors this. But I do have a picture of how the bathrooms IN THE GOOD ROOM flooded everytime we took a bath.

Driver Islam and tour guide Hamdi are the BEST part of this hotel. They made our trip unforgettable! Hotel property conditions are sub par, but I wouldn’t trade it at all because of our incredible driver and tour guide. Make sure you ask for them when booking your tour!!!

Bad part was the noise at night. There are dogs constantly barking, people talking loud, the police clearing pedestrian traffic outside at 1 am. The food is subpare, but the view and service are 5 star!!!!! I went by myself and I literally felt like family. I can say that about nowhere else. The view is amazing, and you can't beat the price. I would go bavk again with earplugs, and food alternatives just for the service and the view.

Great service and Amazing View

The service was great from people like Abdul at the hotel. The pyramid night show can be seen from the hotel roof and it was impressive with an amazing view of the pyramids.

We booked various tours with the hotel and agreed to the value on our first day in Egypt. We could have done better with the negotiation tour price, but we got pretty much everything we wanted to do in Cairo and the surrounded area. Be sure to be very clear with exactly what you want from the tour and do settle for less if this is what is agreed with (make sure to go inside the large pyramid instead of the second pyramid if make the trip all the way Egypt). I am very nice and like to give people second chances, but we should have changed guides after getting considerably better ones in both Aswan and Luxor. After tours everyday, we went for dinner and were told that the food was covered, but we had to pay for drinks. The only problem was that the bill was 200+ EPD for 2 pops and 2 waters (which sure seems high since the total price for these same items is 30 EPD at a convenience store). It was not a huge amount of money so never got too concerned, but this is something to be aware of.

We felt completely safe and were treated great from the moment we were picked up at the airport until the moment we dropped off at the airport. The drivers that were provided by the hotel were exceptional and worth every penny they get paid.

Overall it was a great stay and I would highly recommend this hotel.

Worth the price as it includes free dinner on rooftop while watching sound n light show.
Can’t comment much about the room as I was taken to hotel next door after check in without any explanation but room and bathroom there were clean, just don’t expect anything special.

I even took the hotel airport transfers even tho I know I’m paying twice the amount cause I just don’t want to deal with the locals AT ALL.

This hotel is located in front of the Pyramids of Giza (east side). You can enjoy the view of the pyramids on the rooftop so you don't really need to stay on the view side (because that side gets pretty noisy). You also get a free light show as well! Very affordable with complimentary breakfast and one dinner. Compliment ride from the airport for more than one night stay. The service and the hospitality was superb! Everyone was friendly and not pushy at all. Thank you for treating us so well!

Great location and service

The location is as good as it gets, right in front of the sound and light show. You can watch it right from your window or from upstairs. The breakfast was really good and they provide soft-drinks and juice/tea/coffee all day in the cafe upstairs. They held our bags safely near the reception area because we checked out in the morning and were out touring until we got back in the evening to get our bags. Overall very satisfied with the stay.

It was great we were picked up by the hotel from the airport. We were not given a room with a view. And were constantly being “sold” to for their tours. We were given a gross smoking room at the hotel next door.
I will never stay here again or recommend this place.

Absolutely fantastic service. Not to mention the up-close beautiful view of the pyramids and sphinx from our balcony.

Farad (the manager) is a great gentleman, he looked after us very well and was very hospitable throughout the entire stay. His colleagues were also very helpful and blessed with key local knowledge and contacts. They helped us with many things from allocating a horse and carriage to stroll through the dessert, to obtaining a local sim card to keep us connected.

Osama (the chef) made us an incredible breakfast every morning which was a refreshing start for the day. And we were also offered complimentary fresh strawberry juice throughout the day for our 2 children.

Overall our stay at the panorama pyramids was truly amazing, and we felt very comfortable. Thank you very much!

Homely comfort in Giza!

The staff was great and the vibe was very homely. They make you feel at home and comfortable. No elevators which was not an issue for us however the location to the sites out weighed that. They have ok deals on excursions that include a guide , driver and a meal during your day. I recommend this Inn however it is not a 5star hotel it is aN Inn yet it is worth it! It was a comfortable stay for us none the less. So if you are looking for updated rooms , elevators and things like that you maybe want to try a hotel instead. The roof top terrace seeing the pyramids in the morning or during the light shows at night are priceless! I will be back again!

This hotel has an amazing view of the pyramids, but this is really all that recommends it. The room was disappointing; firstly we arrived much later than we had told them, but the room was not even ready; someone went into it & did some very hasty 'cleaning' while we had to wait downstairs; though it was late & we really wanted to sleep. When we got in the room there were no towels, & no top sheets on the bed - just a quilt without even any cover on it that obviously other customers had used; i.e we were provided with dirty bedding. Plus my quilt had massive holes in it that looked like a rat or some animal had been eating it! Really horrible. The pillow cases also did not look clean; mine had someone's hair on it. Yuk. We had to go and find someone to ask for towels and sheets; yet these are the most basic things that a hotel should provide! When we told the staff they didn't even apologise or make any comment; like it was quite normal to expect customers to sleep in a bed with just a quilt and no sheet.

Amazing location, right next to the walk-in entrance to the pyramids. You can view the light show from the balcony and they include drinks and snacks (as well as breakfast). The hotel was very nice and provided a car service when we arrived at the airport and made it easy to reserve a tour with a car service directly from the hotel. The area is not the nicest as it's dirty, however, the view is unbeatable.

This is a typical 3rd world country hotel. Standards are very low, the view of the pyramids it’s incredible, however, the neighborhood it’s terrible. Even though the staff tried to be very helpful, the hotel is what it is. Don’t spect more. A motel 6 is five star next to this. We paid for two nights and arrived at the hotel late at night but left as soon as we could the next morning, and moved to The Renaissance by the airport in new Cairo.
