The worst mattress of any hotel I have stayed in for a long time. Very hard and uncomfortable with uncomfortable pillows to match. I woke up with a neck ache and a headache. I tried to switch rooms hoping for a more comfortable setup, but they are all the same.

Snorkelling from the resort beach

Fantastic location on the beach and close to town.
You still need a car to get around. Some restaurants offer a shuttle otherwise you are on your own.
Hotel was a bit tired looking, but had excellent food options. Fantastic outdoor bar with excellent staff.
Spa was worth a visit to relax.
Snorkelling straight off the beach.

I’d stay here again.

I spent nine nights there and the place grew on me day by day due to the high quality of service and the people working there. The breakfast was always a highlight and Heather managed the bar very well, even during busy times. All in all this place is a gem and my highlight was waking up on an ocean front room and going for a snorkel before breakfast. I hope to be back sometime soon again!

The PPR is spectacularly beautiful place to stay with wonderful friendly staff. The facility can appear 'tired' to those used to luxury hotels as they struggle to keep up with maintenance of a largely wooden sprawling facility in a very humid tropical environment. It remains very nice and is by far the best place to stay in all of Micronesia. We always ask for an upstairs room with the lofted bai style ceilings. We most highly recommend the PPR!

The resort's attempt to milk its past glory is evident in its nickel-and-diming approach, charging for even basic snorkeling gear. Despite boasting about its reef, the reality falls flat. From the absence of shark heads in their signature cocktail to the dismal breakfast spread, it's clear they're prioritizing profit over quality. With a dwindling guest count, it's a glaring sign of their downward spiral.

Despite friendly service staff, their refusal to accommodate guests, hiding behind rigid policies, speaks volumes. Insisting on a 3pm check-in despite low occupancy is just another indicator of their downward spiral. Don't waste your money on this disappointment.

This is a beautiful property. The beach is fantastic - if you're a snorkeler, the reef is pretty amazing! We were on a boat and went by the Palau Royal and would recommend this beach over theirs as it's on a busy marina and much smaller.

The food is good, but the menu is a bit odd. It could use some adjustments.

Service is overall friendly, but not consistent.

Some little tweaks and this hotel could be amazing, but I would still recommend it for anyone looking for a beautiful, secluded resort.

This hotel was the best in Palau, the snorkelling reef in front of the hotel was fantastic. Many colourful fish and corals and very clear, clean blue water. Awesome pictures. The restaurant was very nice with good service, entertainment and food and a nice sea view at breakfast. Overall this hotel is highly recommended mainly for its protected very active beautiful reef.

Terribly overpriced and underwhelming. The “rules” around the breakfast buffet make it unpleasant at best. Most cereal is stale as are the crackers. Staff is unpleasant. Did not feel welcome at all. Moved to the Palau Royal Resort. A very good move. PRR was a huge improvement for the same amount.

The breakfast was exceptional really delicious and the selection was great. The room smelled like paint and I should have requested to move. But, the grounds were very beautiful and what you’d expect from a resort. The Mandara massage we received was amazing right before we left followed by the beautiful sunset! I would go back there and try the bungalow next

Overpriced, old and disappointing

Palau is superb, the diving is great and the people very nice. The hotel cant get any credit for this.
As a hotel presented ad priced as a luxury resort, it does nonetheless create an expectation. It fails.
It is old, poorly maintain, the staff is not attentive and seems very bored, and the restaurant is quite bad.
There is no justification for such expensive rate even considering that rates in Palau are high.

highly don't recommend this hotel to you!!

Not recommended! My wife and I stayed four nights in PPR and the waterfront room is quite small while the price is high comparing to those in Bali or Maldives. We even couldn't find a place for our luggage although the luggage is a little big. The toilet room is even smaller than you can expect and I feel cramped in there.
The staff are very friendly and the service is good. Breakfast is ordinary and the food price is acceptable. The hotel is big comparing to the others in Palau with a long beach but doing snorkeling was not a good experience -- the coral view is not worth you spending time on it.
The noise isolation condition is bad -- in the very early mornings we were awaken by the noise of people walking/talking upstairs&around, which was really annoying. It seems the rooms don't have any noise isolation capability.
I highly don't recommend this hotel to you!!

オーシャンフロントの部屋に宿泊したのですが、素晴らしいビーチが目の前で、すぐに泳ぎに行けました。

全体的にはとても素晴らしくまた行こうと思ってます。スタッフは、優しく親切でした。
気になったことは、あります。ココナッツテラスの卓上に置かれた塩が、湿度が高いせいか詰まって出ない事です。多くのテーブルで同じ現象がありました。あと、てんぷらうどんを食べたのですが、七味が無かったです。輸入が難しく無理なのかもしれませんが。

遠方の一大リゾート非の打ち所がない。サービスや、フロント対応も素晴らしい。日本人の受付もおりお話も弾みます。目の前のインフィニティ―プールもアクティビティもSAPやシュノーケルも目の前の海で楽しめます。
高いのは、それだけのサービスがあるという事。僻地なので、食事は送迎付きのレストランか、ホテル内をお勧めします。

年始に9ヶ月の娘を連れて家族で行きました。
プライベートビーチやプールでのんびりできました。
娘にとっては初めての海とプール、レストランでの食事中にはスタッフさんにちょくちょくかまってもらい、楽しそうに過ごしていました。
日本語スタッフが居るのもありがたいです。
冬の日本に帰ったらすごく寒く感じましたが、これは仕方がないことです。
また行きたいです。

パラオの通常のホテルと異なり「これぞリゾート！」と思わせるホテル。なんと部屋にはWashletもありました。釣船をチャーターしていましたが、なんとホテル内のハーバーからの出船。パラオ最終日の宿泊に最適です。周辺には何もありませんが、ホテルから出るのは勿体無いです。

Die Einrichtung der Zimmer sind zu alt , es richt in den Zimmern . In den Bädern sind noch Badewannen wie vor 1980 mit Vorhängen . Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis passt überhaupt nicht .

目の前の海ではサンゴ礁が広がり魚も沢山いてシュノーケルがとても楽しめました。スタッフも親切、フレンドリー、ホテルの清潔さにも大変満足しております。1点、枕が少し臭かったのだけが残念でした。リネンは清潔なので中の枕自体が変え時なのでしょう。全体では大変満足しました。

Breakfast is excellent! The beach is also great for rich coral and fish. But no activity by afternoon due to low tide. No free shuttle but 24 hours shop inside the hotel has everything just souvenir is double price than in the airport. The extra bed for kid is quite expensive for 92usd plus service charge. The lobby is quite hot during afternoon and no fan or air con.
