Very clean basic hotel. Friendly staff. Good location in town close to restaurants. ( Tori Tori Japanese, Canoe House for salads, fresh fish and pizza, and Suriyotha for Thai food.

The downside was the breakfast, which caters to the largely (90%) Asian clientele: noodles, salad with Russian dressing, white bread toast, corn flakes. Very little fruit, and the juice is like Tang. But this hotel is recommended if you want a clean, no frills place.

Room and location were great, staff was really attentive and helpful with everything.

Breakfast was the only disappointment. I feel they were trying to over do somethings. Everything was either sauced up of full of spice, wish I could have enjoy some simple scrambled eggs. Lack of fruit & Juice was powdered with water and jam was terrible. We ended up buying breakfast elsewhere

Staff was great. Room lived up to expectations. Staff was always going out of their way to help everyone and ask if they were enjoying their stay. They communicated very effectively.

The cleaning staff (I think) is a family. I oy talked to them once but were very friendly too.

The free postcard to mail back home is one of my favourite ideas.

The location is in the \"busiest\" part of Palau. Two of the three major supermarkets in all of Palau are within 100 metres of the hotel, and most of the top restaurants are within a 15 minute walk.

The aquarium and two of the three museums in the country are all within a 20 minute walk of the hotel too.

The most popular bar/restaurant for tourists iw just a 15 minute walk away and always have an event every night.

The main street also doesn't have any stray dogs so it's the best hotel if you're just traveling on foot like me.

The free breakfast is better than most budget hotels (the food buffet is usually 4 or 5 items and switches every day). Free water and juice on hand 24/7 as well.

Wifi is really bad, though.

We stayed a couple days before our scuba livaboard departure. The hotel is close to the dock and there is a laundromat right behind the hotel. The hotel is a short walk to the grocery store.
After the very long journey the massage studio right below the hotel was a welcome find.
Joy at the front desk was very personable. Breakfast was excellent! This hotel is eazy to find and a great value. There are plenty of resturants walking distance.

I’ve stayed in many hotels throughout my life, and without a doubt, this place has the kindest and most attentive staff I’ve ever encountered.

The hotel is clean and a good choice for people not wanting the “resort” experience.
The rate is moderate.
Breakfast was included in our rate. The food is locally inspired and included noodle dishes, various proteins in sauces, rice, fresh fruit, muffins, toast, fruit juice, coffee or tea.

Good basic clean hotel with modern feel and good location, 8/10. Overall hotel was centrally located in town, across from the grocery store. The lobby was decorated very cute and modern. They sold several small items here and included a free post card, which was a nice gesture. Staff was very friendly, offering to help; remembering and addressing me by my name. Room was okay size, but bathroom was on the smaller side. Shower could use some updating, along with perhaps the bathroom in general. The room appeared more updated and modern. Water bottles and a kettle were provided in the room. You did needed to drop your key off at the desk when you left, but I guess you didn't have to worry about it this way. Breakfast was included, but was very basic. A few Asian dishes, bread and some cereal. Could have been better

This was a great hotel for budget conscious people. The staff was super friendly and courteous. The continental breakfast tasted very good. It is directly across the street from a grocery store and pharmacy and it is right in the middle of town. Great choice for a hotel, in my opinion and experience.

The property doesn’t look like much from the outside, but the inside is so cute and nice! Lovely and very helpful staff that will help make arrangements for you - airport pickup/drop off/rental car/water-based tours. They have a very generous breakfast as well. No elevator, but only 4 floors.

Nice staff, convenient location with restaurants and a supermarket near by. Room is simple and clean. LOTS of stairs, no elevator. WiFi in room is VERY UNRELIABLE, even if they reboot the multiple routers. I couldn't connect for hours during my stay or the connection lasted only a few minutes at a time. I was told I could hang out in the lobby for better WiFi, but the point of booking a room is to be in the room!! An extremely frustrating situation. I won't book here again specifically because of lack of consistent internet.

Overall this hotel was great. Very clean, friendly staff, and breakfast included. The hotel is also centrally located in Koror.

The only drawback is that they had significant challenges with the wifi/internet. The wifi doesn't work in the hotel rooms and they didn't have any solutions to fix the problem. The hotel lobby had decent internet, but it also cut-out frequently.

Despite the issues with the internet, I would still choose the hotel again based on the overall experience, though if you're going on business, it may be challenging to complete work without a reliable connection.

Great location, in the midst of town. I could walk to the museums, restaurants and stores. The desk staff and maintenance were lovely and responsive, especially since my air conditioner was on the fritz, they had to restart it, twice. They would have moved me to another room if I weren’t leaving the next day. (My choice)
The room was immaculate when I checked in. The housekeeping staff wasn't very good. Left dirty mugs, missed a day, didn’t notice that the toilet roll holder had the cover broken off.
Bed was comfy, the floor and bathroom were clean.

the convenient town location offers all kinds of businesses within walking distance. Staff is attentive and responsive, will communicate with you via email or in person. They do not offer transportation to/ from airport but can arrange if for you . Going rate is $30 per ride as of November 2023.
We were able to get one on our own TO the airport for $25. Just ask any taxi driver in town.

Great little gem in the center of Koror

Clean. The reception staff were exceptional. They helped us so much. They hot us set up wuth a left side drive rental car, and the last night found us a pizza at almost 10pm. They have a room for luggage storage if needed. They will set up a taxi for $30 to or from the airport (taxis charge $25/person). Nice free breakfast-not quite American style, more like an Asian-American mix. I would atay there again. Walking distance to most of downtown Koror.

Staff was rude and overbearing, room was dirty was not swept the entire week. Looked under the bed and had not been cleaned in a long time. housekeeping was difficult to get and then only made the bed. Staff was intrusive and rude they keep wanting our key. Inspected the room before we could leave, and tried not to give a receipt at checkout. Breakfast was left overs from the tour dinner the day before ie. pork stew boiled cabbage etc. It was a disappointing experience on a beautiful Island.

Palau Hotel is a solid stay, clean and friendly. But does not have resort level amenities, so for a business trip, it is just fine, for a week long vacation, not a place you may wish to stay. But I will comeback for another business trip, but find a place on the water with a few other amenities if on vacation.

A very solid non-resort choice in Koror. 3 star hotel, clean, lots of choices for breakfast (included), incredibly nice and helpful staff. It's downtown so the surroundings are not very pretty, but there are restaurants and grocery stores nearby. Perfect place to be picked up for scuba diving if you can live without the comfort (and price) of a resort.

The hotel is situated in the heart of the biggest town in the country, walking distance to all shops and restaurants. The rooms and lobby are newly renovated, clean, modern and tidy. Breakfast changes on a daily basis, with the front desk staff willing to assist at all times with complementary tea, coffee, water refills at anytime. Only negative point was the bettlenut and cigarette butt mess at the front door, this seems to be a daily occurance and not a pleasant sight on first check-in.

Breakfast at the hotel was very good and made to order.

I stayed at the Palau Hotel in March of 2019. The staff was very cordial and the breakfast was very good. The hotel is conveniently located near shopping and dining at a variety of good restaurants. I had booked to go this year but all flights and tours have been cancelled until at least June 29. I recommend this hotel for a comfortable and affordable stay.

Staff were friendly. The hotel provided free beach towels and umbrella. Breakfast was good. Choices were all different during my 3-day stay.

Great hotel to stay at. The front desk service is amazing. Friendly and will assist you with anything. The rooms are really nice! I stayed in two different room while on my trip and they both were equally nice. The only issue I had in the second room was the lack of Wi-Fi while in my room. That was such a bummer. I looked forward to updating my phone and tablets but wasn't able to. The Wi-Fi would work out in front of the rooms but would require you to sit in the lobby or hallways. Also the halls in front of the rooms are not A/C cooled, so hanging out there with on Wi-Fi wasn't enjoyable. My first room had Wi-Fi which worked out well. I guess it would be a role of a dice for which rooms have Wi-Fi and which don't. But that's ok. Its still worth the stay and the A/C's in each room work great! I would stay here again and recommend it to a friend. Online prices are about $40 cheaper a night then selecting them at the counter. Its a small town with little to do in the area. There is a small shopping center right across the street which plays clutch when in need of grocery items or alcohol. Do forget to eat the breakfast! Its really good and worth the wake up!

Super cute hotel with wonderful staff. When we first checked in there were ants crawling on the bed and the staff apologized profusely and changed us to another room immediately. We only stayed one night because there is no pool or beach and we were looking for something a little more leisurely. If you are just on Palau to be out on dives or excursions all day every day, Palau Hotel would be a wonderful choice for you.

The strength of the Palau Hotel is it's people. Consistently friendly attentive and helpful. They created a tremendously welcoming environment!

The hotel and room was clean, bright and well-kept, albeit small. (It would have been nice to have a closet.). There is no elevator, which would be a downside for anyone with mobility issues.

All in all a great experience!

All one would need for a great vacation in Palau.

A well priced and comfortable hotel. Located on the Main Street it provides everything one would need for a base during their vacation in Palau.

My only criticism is the poor WiFi which was mostly unworkable during my short stay.
