El hotel en general está bien y cumple para una estadía corta, aunque se nota que es una propiedad con varios años y que podría beneficiarse de una renovación en algunas áreas.
El proceso de check-in fue bastante lento; tuvimos que esperar más de lo esperado a pesar de que había dos personas en recepción y únicamente una estaba atendiendo. En recepción ofrecen agua y aparentemente algún tipo de jugo como cortesía, aunque durante nuestra llegada el dispensador de jugo estaba vacío.
Antes de llegar solicité específicamente una cama king y me confirmaron que estaría disponible, sin embargo al hacer el check-in nos asignaron una habitación con cama queen, lo cual fue un poco decepcionante.
El aire acondicionado funciona, aunque no enfría completamente, especialmente si se busca una temperatura realmente fresca. También recomendaría instalar cortinas tipo blackout, ya que durante la noche entra bastante luz desde los pasillos, afectando el descanso.
El desayuno fue correcto, aunque con muy pocas opciones disponibles. Otro punto a mejorar definitivamente es el internet, ya que fue bastante lento y en varios momentos dejó de funcionar.
En general, la experiencia fue aceptable, pero hay varios detalles operativos y de mantenimiento que podrían mejorar significativamente la experiencia del huésped

Beautifully landscaped. Lovely large, cool pool with attractions for kids: kiddie pool, slide into main pool. Quiet at night. Well furnished room. From our deck we saw parrots flying by and heard and saw other birds in the large trees around the pool. Staff at reception were very helpful but did not give us some information we needed: to turn on lights in our room we needed to insert our room key into a slot on the door; and when we checked out we turned in our key to the gate, not knowing we'd need the key to drive out of the gate! We highly recommend this property.

Staff was friendly and helpful through out (we left outside of regular hours so we missed the included breakfast). Room was clean and linens were good! Property is in need of renovation and upgrades, a bit run down. Our front door had a crack in it! But otherwise we were able to lock up with no issues.

Would book again if this was the only available option.

Great stop for an early morning flight. Pool is gorgeous with a waterslide! Yummy dinner—left too early to have breakfast. Front desk arranged a cab for us. Looks a little rough on the outside but it’s a true oasis! Def recommend

Location is very good - downtown is walking distance where lots of shops and fastfood/ restaurants are located. Starbucks is just across the hotel. It is along a busy road some traffic noise is understandable. Check in was excellent as we were helped and accommodated efficiently. I would say staff in general are friendly and hardworking. The pool was great and providing water bottle refilling machines in the lobby was nice. The only downside was that the room was a bit outdated. I would recommend it for one or two nights stay.

This hotel is in need of a great deal of rehab! The whole place is pretty shabby and the rooms are not equipped well for technology or electrical needs. The outlets are falling out of the walls and there are very few and none in the bathrooms. The bathrooms are very old and in need of total rehab as well. The pool areas are nice but no towels are provided, the pool chairs are not in good condition and many of them are full of bird poop. The breakfast served was decent. The restaurant service and food was good.
The one highlight and very positive was the front desk staff and particularly \"Rosey\" she was very helpful in getting us transportation to the National Park and to the airport. She was so nice and great smile! I would not recommend this hotel.

The pool is a saving grace, but this property is in disrepair. The blind fell off the window when we went to close it, the toilet bowl was leaking across the floor, and the chairs at the pool were broken. The street noise and smells made it hard to sleep. Staff were friendly and helpful.

This property was not what was advertised. It was clean but that was pretty much the only thing that was good. And the air-conditioning worked well. The pool area was nice but there were broken chairs and not many. It had cracked and uneven pavement. The rooms were very old with worn and tarnished bathroom fixtures - small cracks in mirror and that old colouration that happens around the edges.
The wifi was terrible and I had to go to the lobby to use the secured wifi. The adjacent restaurant was also sub-par.
I would not stay there again.

This place is in need of so many things. The shower leaked into the hallway, the toilet was not secured to the floor, there is one outlet in the room to charge any devices, the lights go out unless someone explains that you have to leave your key card in the box by the door. The control for the a/c was so filthy, I didn't want to touch it. Our entrance door had been shattered by the lock area, should have been replaced, electric plug and wiring from bedside lamp appear old and in need of repair. The whole facility is locked in with gates with razor wire. No amenities in the room.

Walking distance to downtown Liberia - museum and market- was convenient as was the in-room safe. Staff were friendly and helpful. Courtyard and mezzanine well kept up and attractive. Internet was terrible not working most of the time. Shower head terrible even after they tried fixing it. Toilet was leaking and making noise. Doom was not sealed properly so bugs came in. Toilet door squeaking. No mini fridge on the room and had to beg for one. No microwave coffee pot or blow dryer. No electricity in the bathroom. Tv was not working well and couldn’t connect to our Netflix account (we could do it in other hotels in CR) the Jacuzzi was boiling hot on the night we wanted to use it and no one could go inside (including other guests) but i think it was ok on other nights. The breakfast was not tasty at all! They managed to ruin even the scrambled eggs… the only plus on this hotel was the pool but i do not recommend staying there.

We needed a place to stay due to flight issues and found Hotel Boyeros. It was as most have said... Very nice pool area and green trees. The rooms are aging, but the bed was clean and comfortable, the AC worked well, and the shower was great. We ate at the restaurant, and it was good as well as a very good breakfast.

We stayed here because it was a budget friendly option. You get what you pay for. Shower water don’t get warm. We took cool, but not freezing, showers. Also we wore shoes in the showers because the floors didn’t look trustworthy. Hotel breakfast was minimal and just mediocre. Bathroom light wasn’t working. It was fine for our one night stay but wouldn’t stay here again unless it was a last option.

Check in and out was a breeze.

The room only had 1 outlet, no fridge or coffee maker. We booked for 4 people but only had 2 towels. Wifi password was not given and then didn’t work. Front desk staff was not responsive. The room was clean, spacious with very comfortable beds. The shower was strong with hot water! The pools were very nice and the 10 pm closure was strictly adherred to. The restaurante was very nice with our meals being very generous and tasty. Las senoras trabajando aqui estan muy simpacticas. Location was excellent with everything within minutes walking to the centro de Liberia. We will stay again at this cozy Tico style Hotel.

Beautiful pool and gardens. Room was clean, however the pipes under the sink were in dire need of replacement. Occasionally there was a sewage smell coming from the bathroom.
The staff were excellent. The grounds were kept spotless.
Breakfast was good.
Excellent location as is across the road from an outdoor mall which is a central location for catching several day tours from Liberia.

The staff are very nice. In particular the young lady that helped me with breakfast. I explained my dietary restrictions to her and she was so very helpful.
The room amenities are minimal which is ok. The room was clean but there is a moldy smell. It was fine for one night The wifi code did not work and there was little to no orientation. I was not sure where to get safe drinking water . It is quite noisy but I was so tired and wore earplugs to sleep. Some of this is street noise so can’t be helped. It fit the bill for me in a pinch.
