Great price/value. Includes breakfast. Free parking.

If you’re staying to catch a flight in the morning, know that your sleep will be interrupted by the bass sound and people singing at the disco across the street AND all the kids running in the hallways and talking loud even after 10pm. Yes and even later that I needed to complain to the front desk.

If you’re a family with kids, on vacation, then this hotel will be good for you. A huge pool, lots of playgrounds, kids play freely and no security will calm them down even at late hours.

I am not saying it’s a bad hotel. It all depends on why you are there.

This is a pretty good place to stay. The beds were very hard and uncomfortable but the hotel was clean. The breakfast was great! The biggest downside for us was that there wasn’t a shuttle to/from the airport so we spent around $45 getting that. They also charged us individually for an extra person that wasn’t noted on the reservation (my fault when I booked it) but that was an additional $35 just for the breakfast. Given those additional costs, I will in the future book a nicer hotel closer to the airport with a cheap/free shuttle.

All was well in most regards except the waitress at the restaurant tried to play us saying the 10% tip line that is automatically added on the bill is “not a tip, it’s commission” . :-/
( I paid cash quickly adding a 10% cash tip but then when I looked at the bill and saw the 10% was automatically added with the words “10% tip” I said to her . “Oh I guess the tip is already in there” and asked for my extra money back. She basically refused to give it back saying that wasn’t a tip that was a commission . Ugg. I had to ask at least 4 times for my money back and even then she did not give me all of it. Buyer beware of tricksters . I was already tipping but when it’s expected or even worse; demanded, with a side order of lying , it ticks a person off.

This should not be considered a best western property. The rooms are not nice at all. The mattress is newer but is probably the hardest mattress I’ve ever tried to sleep on.

The night club across the street was very loud all night and kept us up.

Overall would not recommend.

The pool was the only reasonable thing about this place, and the fact that it’s close to the airport. The beds are like rocks and the pillows are the same. The bathroom was very grungy, mould in tiles and really not that clean. The AC unit barely cooled the room and there is no mini fridge. Doors and windows are poorly sealed so you can hear everything outside your room, which was especially annoying because we had a very early flight and wanted to get to sleep at a reasonable time. We could hear literally every person walking and talking outside our room. This place is in disparate need of renovations 😐!!

We only stayed for the night but I just wanted to say unless you’re okay with eating bird poop in the morning then don’t stay for breakfast. Food was not good, and on top of that tooo many birds in the area. All the tables and chairs had bird poop and the staff did not clean. It was very unpleasant.
We did see peacocks and that was very nice.

Peacocks, Iguanas and countless birds makes this an exceptional spot to relax and chill by the large pool. The staff are helpful and friendly.

The property is decent. Pool area very nice. Enjoyed watching the peacocks all around the property. Rooms are very basic and quite “tired”. Also our window barely gave any light and was facing into the courtyard so we a felt little claustrophobic. We had hot water issue on 2 occasions but staff was amazing and it got fixed really fast. All in all great location if you want to be close to airport. Lots of restaurants and shopping all walking distance. I recommend for short stay.

There was some road noise as the hotel is next to a major route in Liberia. There are peacocks that roam around the property they can be noisy at night I know this is out of the hotels control. Staff was friendly, price was right and it is near the airport.

Only downside is road noise if in rooms 1-10. Ask for room further back if you can. Also, there are no king beds, just queen. So Expedia had it listed incorrectly.

Ive stayed here several times but the bathroom, 2 towels, no soap, no hand towel or wash cloths. The sheets and bedspread was old and bed too hard for me, it has a nice pool and restaurant on site and kiddie pool and play area, No shuttle to airport. The peacocks are very fun to see. I will try a different hotel next time. A little disappointed.

We only stayed here one night before flying home the next day very early. We had a hike booked earlier in the day, and had to return our rental car, so they graciously allowed us to drop off luggage to be kept safe while we went on our hike. The entire hotel is clean and well kept. The only complaint is that we got woken up at 3:45am to the loudest music I have ever heard. If we weren't leaving for the airport an hour later I would have been livid. There was a horse festival happening that night so maybe it was just because of that, because it was wild outside, music and party people everywhere. Not a reflection on the hotel at all, other than that, we loved our stay and would love to come back!

The grounds and foliage at this hotel are absolutely huge. You can take a walk in nature through many tall trees on a path surrounding a lagoon which has many birds in it including large herons. There are also what looks to be over 50 peacocks that have full run of the place which was great! They can be a little loud at times. The pool is massive and a lot of fun. The food at the restaurant was great and reasonably priced.
We had to leave early to go to the airport so could not eat at the buffet breakfast so they made us sandwiches which was very nice. Would for sure stay again.

Do not stay at this hotel. Worst experience I have ever had. I tried emailing, calling, and messaging WhatsApp to book airport shuttle as that was the reason we chose this hotel and did not get a response until after booking. They charged us $100 cad for 2 extra guests even though it stated room sleeps 4 and did not tell us until we arrived. They expected us to walk up the stairs with heavy luggage. The sheets had blood stains and the room was filthy. Beds felt like sleeping on cardboard. It was extremely loud, did not sleep at all. On top of all of this it was the most expensive stay we had in Costa Rica. Worst hotel experience of my life.

I was disappointed that they advertise a 24 hour airport shuttle which was the only reason we booked it for our last day of our trip just to arrive and find out that the shuttle does not exist. The interior room was dated but clean. The breakfast was delicious with plenty of fresh fruit. Scrambled eggs were made with real eggs and hot.
The grounds/gardens were beautiful with free roaming peacocks and plenty of iguanians.

We had an issue with check in and felt staff attitude made it more difficult. The issue was between the Best Western, their agent and Expedia. It caused the check in to be very long, upsetting and unnecessary. It was very frustrating and once we reached a resolution, staff were very cold and ulnapproachable.

From welcoming us for an early check-in to hwlping us book a very early morning taxi to the airport....this hotel and its staff were absolutely amazing. We arrived well before the designated checkin time and were generously allowed to stow our luggage and usw the pool for thw few hours until 2pm. And what a pool! Peacocks just wandering around being beautiful. Iguanas sauntering. After drinks by the pool we checked in and a beautiful park behind the pool.Loved the room and the great air conditioner. A great shower with plenty of hot water. The front desk staff were so helpful and kind. We were so sad that we only discovered this gorgeous place on our last day!

I am having car troubles so somehow lost my low tech key card. I was charged $5700 colones or $17 Canadian for a new key card. I complained about this charge. Naomi confirmed the charge with her supervisor.

There was quite a long wait at checkin time with only one trained staff member . The room had not been dusted recently. In the restaurant at dinner, one of our meals was forgotten and not prepared until all the others had already finished their meals so we took it to go. The beds were hard. Otherwise it was a beautiful little oasis, and the staff were friendly.

I don’t know where the other guests who gave this hotel a good review stayed, but my experience was terrible. I made a last minute reservation for New Year’s Eve based on the understanding that they had an airport shuttle according to the hotels.com description. Surprise! I was informed at check-in that they do not. I arrived around midnight on New Year’s. There was no one in reception but a very nice security guard who was pulling triple duty as a receptionist, security guard, and maintenance person. The room was terrible. The water in the shower would not stop dripping all night. The bed was hard as a rock. The mirror had lipstick kiss marks on it, and the wardrobe was so wobbly that when I accidentally bumped into it, it nearly fell over. I’m surprised it wasn’t tethered to the wall. I’d be worried it could fall onto a small child. There were two tiny pillows on a king sized bed. No fridge. No ice. One multi-purpose shampoo/soap in the shower. I got up early the next morning and took an Uber to the airport at an additional cost of about $25. The whole experience was extremely disappointing and I would never stay at this over priced facility again. Spend the extra $25 and get a room at one of the Hilton hotels, which are closer to the airport and offer a better overall experience .

The front staff was a bit rude during check in. The kids loved the pool and seeing the peacocks walking around. The garden area around pool is spacious very pretty. We enjoyed the volleyball net and the walk around trail. The rooms were plain. Clean no mini fridge and only a sheet to sleep with. The air conditioner was nice and great fan in the room. Restaurant was plain and nothing special for food or delicious it was ok.
