Thoroughly enjoyed our stay there for a week. The breakfast and especially the dinner (half board) were excellent. Love what they offered, free crapes, other sweets (muffins, hot apple cider, hot red wine) and 24 hrs access to sparkling water & other coffee drinks and hot chocolate. The spa was great with 2 steam rooms, sauna, ice room (we didn’t use it), swimming pool and a jacuzzi. I also enjoyed sampling different beauty products after each spa. The location is near Chamonix Villa and was convenient to walk to the bus stop ( Chamonix Sud). All staff were very friendly. Highly recommend this hotel.

One of the best hotels I have stayed in for years. The service was phenomenal, the staff couldn’t have been more accomodating. Unfortunately as our stay was short and I was a little bit sick, we didn’t get to use all the amenities being the spa/gym which looked high spec from a having a view. Will definitely be going to stay here again and recommending to friends and family.

Mattieu from Reception was really very kind, we booked half board, stunning starter and dessert but mains were disappointing for all 4 of us, lacked flavour and very overcooked, but the rooms are cosy and warm and hotel gives wonderful crepes, popcorn and coffee (free of charge) which is a lovely surprise. I do believe bathrooms are in need of an update though. Spa is lovely, would be nice to have a gym too. But I really must comment the breakfast staff, this was a top quality breakfast which I highly recommend. Overall not a bad stay but room for improvement.

One of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed in. The breakfast is great and has everything you need. There’s a coffee machine in reception that you can use 24/7. There’s also filtered water in reception so you don’t have to buy bottled water constantly. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel is spotless. The spa is also great - especially after days of running. The location is perfect. Right in the centre but there’s no noise. We will be coming back to Chamonix next year and will be booking this hotel again.

The room was comfortable except for no ac on some warm days. The coffee and water bar were appreciated. The spa area was also a nice addition. Would highly recommend except on hot days. We had a wonderful view of Mont Blanc and enjoyed the location off the main tourist corridor. The bummer about the hotel is 1) lots of road noise of trying to sleep with the patio door open and night to cool off and 2) 0 airflow in the room at all, including the bathroom. A little ventilation would go a long way. 3) more lounge chair options in the pool area would be great.

Wonderful hotel staff and very clean facility. We spent 3 days at the hotel and were treated very well by the staff. They showed interest in resolving any issues we uncounted. Shot out to Rita, one of the competent front desk managers. She exemplifies customer service and is a credit to the organization. If wver I find myself in Chamonix, I will make every effort in staying at this hotel.

Mixed Experience – Great Location, Helpful Staff,

I have mixed feelings about our stay at this hotel. Let’s start with the positives:

The location is excellent—very close to the Aiguille du Midi cable car, which is a must if you’re visiting Chamonix. The staff were friendly and gave us helpful advice on how to plan our time in town, especially around the time-specific Aiguille du Midi reservation. They helped us book our tickets and also recommended the two-day lift pass, which I highly suggest if you’re staying for more than one day. It gives you access to all the gondolas, and it was super convenient to pay for it right at the reception.

I also appreciated the cold water stations on both sides of the hotel—great for filling up your bottle before heading out for the day. The hotel has two restaurants and the breakfast had a good variety, though I wish they offered freshly made fried eggs or omelets.

Now for the downsides:

While the room was clean, the carpet under the bed looked old and not very well maintained. Our biggest issue was the heat—there was no air conditioning, just a fan, and during a heatwave, that really affected our sleep. When I asked, they told me none of the rooms have AC, which might be something to consider depending on the time of year you’re visiting.

The spa was just okay. Unfortunately, we saw several guests walking in with their shoes on, which made the area dirty, and no staff seemed to be supervising or enforcing any rules during our visit.

In Chamonix and Heliopic was a hyge win. Next to the Aguile du Midi lift and 2 mins from center ville. This was an amazing experience. The spa was incredible add on, and we used it everyday. We stayed in the privilege room and had an amazing view of the Alps. Plus very comfortable amenities and excellent staff. We were helped to a couple of hikes and recommendations. Will definitely recommend it to anyone traveling to Chamonix. The hotel is top!

We absolutely love this hotel and only rated at a four because the check in staff were extremely rude, which didn’t start to a good stay. However, the place was amazing, loved the pool/spa and the individual hotel rooms, so more than made up for the rudeness of the staff member. It is also about a minute walk from the hotel to the Aiguille du Midi Gondola. Super walkable town, especially from this location.

Really nice hotel right next to Aiguille du Midi gondola and about 5 minutes from the Main Street in Chamonix.
Rooms were clean and spacious. Breakfast buffet was excellent. Also really nice that they offer complimentary coffee / tea / hot chocolate throughout the day at the lobby area and water bottle filling stations. The pool / hot tub area is really nice. Would stay again if in Chamomix.

Wonderful location. The late afternoon crepes and popcorn is a wonderful surprise. The coffee and water stations, not to mention the wonderful spa just makes it all that much better.

We loved absolutely everything about this hotel. It's the perfect spot for skiing with everything you could possibly need located centrally. The team were extremely helpful in the leadup to our holiday and very prompt at replying to any questions I had and arranging transfers, ski equipment and passes.

The dining was absolutely phenomenal and we really rated the spa facilities too. We will definitely be back, thank you team Héliopic!

The rooms in this hotel are too hot (even in winter) with no climate control. The lighting is non existent even above the mirror. The beds are super uncomfortable and of poor quality including the linen.

This property is super convenient in many ways. Close to the highway, easy walkable from town, and parking garage is right there.
Room was clean and comfortable, the sauna could have been warmer, but it worked.
We had the dinner and breakfast and both were very good. They even had a magician during the dinner that stopped at each table.

The location of the hotel was excellent, just next to the Aiguille du midi cable car station. There were restaurants and shops less than 5 minutes walk away. The Chamonix-Mont-Blanc train station was about 10 to 15 minutes walk away.

The room was clean, comfortable and quiet. The swimming pool was great. The breakfast was excellent.

The hotel staff were friendly and helpful.

Overall, the stay was wonderful.

The spa is wonderfully relaxing after a long drive and for a while we had it all to ourselves. We were warmly welcomed on arrival. The location is close to the center though that wasn’t of importance to us. The new fondue restaurant is great value and the food was very tasty as well as the wine by the glass.

The included breakfast buffet was delicious with a wide range of options. The pool area was a great way to relax after hiking. It has two steam rooms, a sauna, a cold room, and a cold plunge in addition to a swimming pool. There is no air conditioning and our room was hot in the afternoon. If you visit earlier in the summer it won’t be a problem. Also it cooled off every evening after sunset. The provided fan brought in fresh alpine air. Most importantly we could see Mont Blanc from our balcony, which will inspire future trips to the area.

The hotel paid for itself. The staff goes above and beyond Tanzer all the tourist weird questions. We are doing the TMB. The Tour Dumont Blanc, but lost our hiking sticks to TSA. The hotel borrowed them and kept our luggage for free for two weeks. Pretty sweet.
