spa was very small, pool was cold for the winter time, service was very poor at the hotel but good at the restaurant. rooms were ok but the open area of the bar nearby was loud. there were big corporate groups when we were there so maybe that made it worst. all around very expensive for what we got. but well situated close to center and main roads.

Great hotel in an excellent location, very close to the bus station and just a short walk from the town centre. It’s a little on the expensive side, but the convenience and overall experience made it worthwhile.

The staff were lovely throughout our stay, and the front-of-house team in particular were excellent and very welcoming.

Check-in was quite late, which wasn’t ideal after travelling, but everything else ran smoothly. Having a ski shop within the hotel was a big plus and made organising equipment very easy.

The hotel restaurant was reasonably priced for dinner and the food was good. Breakfast, however, was quite expensive, so we ended up opting to eat elsewhere in the mornings.

Overall, a very enjoyable stay. The location, helpful staff, and on-site ski facilities made things easy, and I would definitely stay here again.

The TINY hot tub was way too small for the size of hotel. And it was often not available. They close it at 8 pm, which is way too early. The 2nd day it was closed from open until 4 pm for maintenance. By 6 pm it still wasn't warm. The 3rd day it was warm and available. The 4th day, it was full with 4 people, then more and more and more people kept coming to the pool / sauna / steam room / hot tub area. Many people wanted to get into the hot tub, but it was so terribly small. We waited for quite a while and then jammed into it with 4 other people. It was lukewarm. Unfortunately, after location, a hot tub is probably our next most important criteria for a ski trip.

We got upgraded to a fantastic room with a Mountain view. We used the spa a few times after hiking in the day, we also ate at the restaurant and drank at the bar. I would definitely stay again, all the people that worked there were always helpful. The spa facilities were good and pool , sauna etc were all at a nice hot temperature. The room itself was large and the cleaners were very thorough every day and great at stocking up the supplies.

Great location right across the street from the bus stop and a 10-15 minute walk from town center. Front staff is friendly but understaffed. Loved the sauna and hammam! The downside is the rooms are REALLY dark, no washcloths, and no microwave. Overall good but not great!

It was a comfortable and pleasant stay. The only negative was that our room was reassigned to new guests on our last night so strangers were able to unlock our door and enter our room. This occurred during the early evening while we were in the room so the new guests could tell that it was occupied and walked out immediately. Other than this, the amenities and location were top notch.

Lovely property with great great pool, sauna and steam room, often a shortage of towels. Think the lobby and main areas only get cleaned once a week as often look in need of a Hoover. Nicely furnished. Friendly staff, lovely breakfast. Rooms nice and spacious with fridge and balcony. Great location.

Outstanding, the receptionist couldn’t have done enough for you , the stay was perfect with best views on Mont Blanc. 8 days I spent touring the Mont Blanc and this finished it off perfectly. The location is so safe and guaranteed the best views, spa was outstanding and food,
Only fault I had was lifts were very troubled on each floor ( receptionist had to take a lift with me) but I was given a free drinks voucher for the trouble.
Sauna was still out of use even though it stated a definite date it didn’t happen so disappointed with that as wanted the spa as main priority. But the receptionist made it all worth while she was outstanding ing. ( didn’t get her name but a very curly haired girl who couldn’t do enough for you ) I shall be back !

The hotel simple is not worth the money. Spa and amenities are ok but the room was horrible. We had a room on the last floor so, apparently, it had sloped ceiling. We had a sofa in addition to queen bed so It was not possible to walk to the balcony without bending over which was not super exciting for a person with bad back. Also, we were constantly hitting our heads on it. They tried to trim it with soft material (I guess they realized it was a problem) but it was still unpleasant. Check in was also super late so we super exhausted when we got to the room.

Hotel is in a great location next to the central bus station and is also walking distance to downtown Chamonix. The staff was all very friendly and helpful. The hot tub, steam room, and sauna overlooking Mont Blanc was the best part of the hotel after a long day on the slopes. My only critique would be if you would like a quiet room to book a room facing the Mont Blanc side to not get noise from the bus station. Would definitely recommend and stay again!

The hotel is really well placed next to Chamonix Sud bus station, to connect to Geneva airport and all the skibusses. The Spa is lovely, although another hot-tub would not go amiss. The room was quite small and not well appointed, even though we did not book the cheapest. The breakfast was wonderful overall, great choices, except for the coffee which was very poor.

Hotel staff were nice but we asked for help ordering car service and although I confirmed 3 times, the car was not actually reserved which caused us a huge and very expensive problem the morning of our departure.

When I booked, I paid a premium price for a property that was closing for renovations and they neglected to state that. The reception areas etc are ok but the room was super dark / like one had to put on their hiking headlamp to see , carpet nasty, and shower wasn’t good .

This was right off the bus stop from Geneva. The hotel was very nice and offered a great book-end to our Trek around Mont Blanc. We had a room facing the street and it was pretty loud throughout the night. Definitely a must-have earplugs if you are facing the street. The staff were very kind and hospitable.

We enjoyed staying here with our family!

We had a great stay at the hotels. The location was convenient, next to the bus station and within 14 minutes of many restaurants. The ambience was very relaxed and welcoming and the staff were great, always helpful . There was always good music playing but at 10 everything was quiet so you could enjoy a good night sleep.

Front desk staff very helpful and friendly. Nice pool and spa area. Conveniently located across from bus terminal (which does make it noisy if you have a front facing room). Rooms need a major update- very cave-like with dark brown walls and ceiling and dark brown shag rug. Very unappealing.

Great hotel at a good price. Good location walking distance to city center and all the action. Easy friendly check in. Room was nice with balcony overlooking mountain and pool. Ski shop in hotel was a nice feature. So easy to rent equipment. Bus picks up right outside on corner. Loved the pool. Heated perfect for swimming even in winter. Hot tub could be slightly warmer but still ok. I would recommend they add another hot tub. Bar was nice with pool table etc. Would definitely recommend and I will stay again when in Chamonix.

Amazing stay for one quick night!
We missed our bus back to Geneva and had to book a last minute stay. This hotel is right by the bus station, and the front desk agent helped us get a room last minute. We had an amazing view and a balcony. The room was also very clean.

Although we couldn’t enjoy it for a long time as we had to head back early the next morning, we will definitely stay here on our next trip to Chamonix. It’s about a 10 minute walk from the main attractions but 10 minutes feels like 3 minutes when you’re in a place like this! It’s fun to wander around anyways.

Would highly recommend this hotel for pleasure! It does have a spa, restaurant and bar that seem great. The staff was very kind to us from beginning to end.

What an amazing hotel. The location is outstanding, the staff are incredible welcoming and helpful, the food is delicious, and the decor and outdoor areas are just wonderful. I came on a solo motorbike tour of Europe, but I'm already making plans to return with my other half for a few days.

The only small opportunity for improvement is lighting in the rooms. There's no main light, it's just small lamps in the corners which means you can't actually see anything when packing/unpacking bags without the flashlight on your phone. I lost my motorbike key on the shag carpet and it took me 30 minutes to find it.

A small small point, overshadowed by what a great hotel this is. You won't regret staying here.

LOVED this hotel! Right across the street from where our bus from Geneva dropped us. It was so very hip and happening, with pool table, ping pong table, bar, music, sauna, steamroom, bocci, jacuzzi, etc. Close to Aguille de Midi and lots of restaurants, central town, as well as hikes. The only thing is no AC - temperate when we were there, so not a problem, but a consideration if it's warm. Great staff, too - very helpful.

We loved our stay here, the hotel is the perfect location if you're getting the coach from Geneva airport, it's just across the road. The main town centre, the train station, the Aguile du Midi are all a short walk away.
We had a room over looking Mont Blanc and the pool area with a small balcony. The room was clean and ideal for us although we were staying here in September during a heatwave, so sleeping at night with no aircon was difficult, but we could open the balcony door and let some air in. There was not too much noise and was better than the heat.
Breakfast also very good, loads of options, fruit, pastries, cereals and cooked options. We didn't have dinner in the hotel as we didn't realise we had to book and although there was room the staff advised it could be a long wait for food as there were several groups staying, so not a problem as the town is only a short walk away and there are hundreds of great places to eat.
The staff in the hotel are super friendly, particularly the reception staff and the team at breakfast. They all worked very hard looking after the guests.

The hotel staff was great. The hotel looked nice and my husband and son enjoyed the pool.

You could tell the hotel was updated but the room, specifically the bathroom needed cleaned better.
Bathroom smelled of pee, you could see it dirty down the toilet sides. The shower had mold and build up that could have easily been wiped clean…which leads me to believe the shower wasn’t cleaned.
The most alarming thing was the hair dryer that was VERY dirty and has mold from the moisture in the bathroom.
The rooms had shag style carpet which looks old and dirty and smelled like it had been wet many times. We kept the door open to avoid the sour smell.

My husband and I had a wonderful experience at Hôtel Le Refuge des Aiglons Chamonix. The staff's warmth and assistance truly stood out, enhancing our stay. Our room was clean and inviting. We were impressed by the dinner at the hotel restaurant and the food was very good. The spa pool and steam room provided much needed relaxation, and the massages we indulged in were skillfully administered by professional therapists who ensured our utmost comfort. IMO this is the best place to stay. They have plenty of onsite activities (we went to the on-site BBQ) and have a spa and pool. It was so nice to adventure in the day, refresh at the pool and then go out to dinner. Everything was very walkable and the room was nice and roomy. Loved everything about this place and highly recommend and would return on future stays in a Chamonix! Also it was right by the bus station, so super easy to transport our gear/baggage.

It was an excellent location if choosing to take the cable car up into the mountains. Multiple stores and restaurants are nearby and about a 10-minute walk into center-city.

Sadly, the room was uncomfortable due to the outdoor temperatures and the room does not come with AC or a fan, (common for hotels in France).

The room got warm because of no air conditioning, but it cooled down nicely with the window open. And did I mention the staff? - Wonderful - thanks Jamie.

The hotel is very very nice. We were there a week, and we had a great time. Ski rental and spa are at the hotel, and staff is incredibly nice. The hotel is at a great location, next to the bus stop to take you to the ski areas. Highly recommend!

Not a 4 star service

We didnt have a great experience at this Hotel: the room had very little light, the double bed was tiny, they forgot to replenish the shower gel in the bathroom, they would not let us park on site on the first day (they said we had to book it in advance) and the service was very average.
